Drury Inn & Suites Charlotte Arrowood

This is our second time in this hotel and it is amazing. I can't say enough good things about it. The food is the best part but the staff is just so friendly too! We will stay here every time we are in the area.

I gave a rating of 4 out of 5 because the room could have been a bit tidier. I noticed a hair tie on the floor from a previous guest, which suggests the furniture may not have been moved during the vacuuming process.

Restaurant/bar area was really nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Location had plenty of food and store options nearby so we didn't have to go far to get things we needed. Was a great atmosphere in the bar area as sporting events were on TV. Asian woman at the front counter seemed to not want to help certain demographics of people as she always seemed to find a way to appear "busy" or leave the counter when certain people approached. Waited about 15 minutes to check in as she continued to walk back and forth behind the counter and the other person at check in was helping someone else. Took someone walking over from the restaurant to finally help me check in. Once that person got behind the counter the Asian woman then pretend like she was just about to help me.

Perfect location for a trip to Carowinds. Free breakfast and dinner. Popcorn for the kids. Dog friendly. Indoor and outdoor pool plus a hot tub. It was a little crowded.

With a do not disturb sign on the door a someoneknocked on the door multiple times and try to enter. We were inside and the door was locked therefore, he could not enter. An hour or so later, the maintenance man knocks on the door, even though the do not disturb sign was on the door. When no one answered quickly, he attempted to enter the room. Again, we had the lock on the door and he was not able to fully enter. The door did open partially before it hit the lock. We notified the manager.

Breakfast staff & front desk staff were very nice & helpful. They had “kickbacks” which were from 5:30-7:00 which were food items to snack on for no cost. Fountain drinks were available most of the day.

The happy hour but did not get a chance to eat or dilrink because of the crowds and the time to check in was too long. The staff during check in. The manager rude and not professional. Staff had me swiping my card 3 times and kept charging me same the amount.

they have a nice outdoor/indoor pull and jacuzzi! thats very clean and refreshing. they have happy hour specials that offer guest free beverages and refreshments. The staff is very helpful and responsive. The rooms are clean, the bathroom is lovely as well. i enjoyed my stay and definitely will be back.

Only complaint was that the fridge was pretty tiny and did not keep my food cold (probably because I had it pretty packed).

Everything was very clean, there were lots of great amenities. There was a simple but yummy dinner buffet and 2 cocktails per person included during their happy hour, as well as a delicious breakfast the next morning. It was great not to have to figure out where to go for dinner after a day on the road, and it really added value to the stay. They also had a nice little $bar and restaurant if you wanted to order off the menu. I got a cocktail and a dessert after dinner and both were great. The bed was comfy and had 5 pillows. The room was very clean (although I had to plug something in behind the nightstand and suggest a quick dusting back there if I had to find something to nitpick) and had all the expected supplies. The best thing though was how incredibly friendly and helpful everyone was. Staff were genuinely attentive and warm, we felt like we were among friends from the start. They seem to have a really good culture there. I was downloading their app within just a couple hours of arriving. I will be looking for Drury hotels first at any destination I plan to visit.

This isn't our first time here Infact this is now our go to spot when we head to Florida or going home! I just love the staff you couldn't ask for better people. So friendly kind and very respectful, they also remember us from the last few times we where there. It feels like a second home in my opinion and I definitely recommen this place to stay at. Desiree, Daysha, Manuel and Sandra were great in assisting us with everything. My only suggestion would be to put laminate floors in assessible wheel chair bedrooms. My sister uses a Hoyer lift and it was very difficult to roll on the carpeted floors. Please consider removing carpet from those rooms, thank you.

The hotel was clean always and I love feeling like the hotel is well staffed and not just like one person behind a desk. The food is good and the breakfast is great. The free drinks are really nice after a long day and specifically our bartender (I’m so sorry I can’t remember her name but she was on 5/23 and 5/24) was outstanding. The breakfast was a all inclusive delicious buffet, as was the complementary cocktail hour in the evening which included a drink card for each of us and a snack buffet that turned into being our dinner. The property is lovely, uncomfortable, and incredible value with the complementary drinks, and the evening and breakfast buffet. We traveled with a Pet, no extra charge!!!!

I inspected as soon as we got our room and noticed immediately the room is not clean as it seems. The headboard on the beds was covered in dust. The curtains in the rooms was stained. Other items in the room were covered in dust too. The bathroom was the most unclean. I had some cleaning stuff on me and double cleaned everything. As I was cleaning I noticed there were still hairs on the bathtub and on the shower curtain. Overall that said to me more than I needed to know. Considering how many different people come and go from a hotel, proper cleaning of the rooms should be a high priority and done very thoroughly regardless how many stars a hotel has. Especially for families traveling with children, they shouldn’t have to worry about this. The other amenities at the hotel were there but don’t really recommend. The first day we arrived I got a room on the 6 floor. I noticed how hot the room was when we checked in. Mind you that particular day it was 90 degree outside. We had to wait for over 5 hours for the AC to get fixed and to work. The indoor pool smelled heavily like Bleach. The day we arrived we wanted to go to the pool and there was a gecko inside the pool. I immediately informed someone at the front desk about. The included breakfast and afternoon special was palatable. Noticing how the quality of the hotel was I didn’t expect much at all. Kudos for this hotel--in every aspect. First time staying here and definitely will be back. From the minute we walked in until the time we left (2 days) we felt like we were home. Desiree at the front desk was so nice, every staff member greeted you as they walked by, the rooms were very spacious and comfortable, the restaurant/bar/buffet was all phenomenal. We will be returning guests!!

Loved this hotel, from the friendly staff to the overall comfort. The only downside is the pet fee, which is higher than expected. Because of that, I likely won’t be staying again, but everything else was excellent.

The 530 gathering was amazing!! Plentiful hot food. It was my evening meal. Various choices as well. The food attendants were so nice and helpful. I've never experienced that level of hospitality before. Manuel at the front desk was amazing as well.

The welcome snack was a great touch. It was light food fare and was well attended by guests. All the staff there were more than accommodating. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone. There were a lot of families there taking advantage of the amenities. Everything was in great condition and the staff were the real stars at this place.

Amazing stay for a great price! Plentiful and delicious snacks during kick out 5:30-7 with excellent margarita included! Beds very comfortable, room quiet, spacious, and very clean. Hotel did not seem crowded though it must have been almost full based on cars in parking lot. Breakfast was also generous and delicious. Easy on and off highway. If I had any complaint, would be pet cost for small dog. Otherwise 10/10.

My only problem was the housekeeping staff woke me up at 7 or 8am on checkout day, They came in twice, then called twice and then came in one more time. That part was weird and aggravating, but the rest of the visit was amazing. Hopefully they figure out the housekeeping issue. I recommend this hotel.

They have a light buffet dinner in the evening with a drink from the bar included. That was top notch to have for your guests. We always stay here when we fly out of Charlotte. The free appetizers and drinks are always a nice touch. The breakfast buffet if your typical hotel breakfast buffet with eggs, potatoes, etc. Jin at the front desk is always so pleasant. Check-in is quick and easy. The pool definitely gets crowded, but that’s what it’s there for.

I also love the lobbies at the Drury Inns that I've stayed at. Having the popcorn machine and the fountain Coke while I'm getting my work done or just hanging out it awesome! I know you can just stop at a store and grab something but having it right there in the lobby makes it feel welcoming. Really appreciate it!

I have stayed here before. The one thing that impressed me the most was the front desk staff. They are always so welcoming and helpful, Everything is very clean and nice. Love the indoor/outdoor pool.

I had to checked out early Thursday morning and was still charged for Thursday evening. I was told by the Hotel clerk that this was because I went through Expedia to get the hotel. I will be talking with my credit card company about this matter.

Adel did an excellent job assigning our room to accommodate a stay with 2 pets. She was very patient, pleasant & professional. The room was a perfect size for 2 adults traveling with a cat & dog who barely tolerate each other & need lots of space (the animals not the people). Both dinner & breakfast were delicious & plentiful. Every staff member was friendly and thanked us for staying at this hotel. This is our second Drury Inn visit & we would highly recommend & definitely stay again. A+++++

We stayed for an overnight stay on our way home to Florida traveling from Northwestern PA due to reviews of it being a dog friendly hotel and easy access to continue our trip home. The facilities were nice and met our expectations. Staff was very polite and attentive. They welcomed our fur babies with treats. The breakfast and kickback was good too didn't have to worry about finding somewhere to eat. Definitely will stay again.

I pretty much loved everything about this hotel it’s cost than having to pay for parking. The free breakfast was a whole breakfast and it was great all of the people that spoke to who in the staff were very friendly and nice and helpful. The room was very, very clean and had everything I needed in it. It was just a very nice stay with no hiccups at all.

We went for my DD's 18th b-day weekend and to go to the Renfaire. We got in late on Halloween and missed the Kick-back. I realized I left my wallet at home with my DL in it and bc I was so tired, it didn’t dawn on me that I had a 2nd copy in my purse with my passport. When I stated not having one, the guy was rude and said that no way would they accept a pic of it from my phone. He offered no other solutions, even as I said that we were from near the VA border. It was just me and 3 kids. When I showed the ID and passport, he inspected them like I was an alien. There was no empathy on his part. I went to the restaurant and got dinner. Pro-bartender is amazing; Con-the food was way overpriced for the quality. The room and was burning hot, but the kids turned the A/C on and it took forever to cool. I am disabled, so it was an ADA room, but it was small. The fridge didn’t seem to work, there was trash in the cans and behind one tv, there were stains on the walls, dust all over, the phone and alarm clock were dirty and the pull-out bed was really thin with a crumb-covered mattress topper. We heard loud noises from the pool bc we were above it and from the rooms on both sides. It is a PARTY hotel, not a family one. We smelled ouid on almost everyone and in the elevators and many people were heavily drinking. There were unattended kids at the pool who harassed mine and it was rough. But, two of the receptionists were nice women who tried helping us. They did all that they could.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Drury Inn Arrowwood. The staff was all very helpful and friendly. The food was all very tasty and plentiful with good variety. The hotel had several nice seating areas for conversation plus the kitchen&bar area and lots of seating options for dining. The hot tub and swimming pools both looked clean and very inviting although I didn't have a chance to actually use them. Our room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, as was the rest of the hotel. The location was very conveniently located near highway access and also close to Billy Graham Library that we went to visit. I definately recommend The Drury Inn Arrowwood in Charlotte, NC as a wonderful place to stay. With the free full breakfast and kickback hour with free drinks, it was a very good value for the price. They even had free fresh popped popcorn in the lobby for snacking on!

Have stayed here more than once. It's our favorite place to stay when in Charlotte. Comfortable, quiet rooms. Great beds and linens, outstanding staff, exceptional breakfast, and a really nice happy hour with food. Pool, gym and whirlpool are all top notch.

Food items were not available after 6:45 even though they advertise 7PM.

Staff very accommodating. Couldn't get the printer worker but staff stepped in and printed for us. Stay was great!

The common area where coffee was not cleaned up very well. Trash on the floor still from maybe breakfast. Tables not wiped down.

This hotel is probably the best I’ve ever stayed in! Everything was immaculately clean, and every staff member greeted us and said hello! There was buffet style breakfast and dinner, and popcorn in the afternoons, and Ruby Tuesday’s in the same parking lot. There’s an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub. We really enjoyed this trip and will definitely be back!

Front desk and food service workers were excellent. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Sold expired milk at the market that caused my baby to be sick all through the night and no appetite the following day. Shower drain was completely clogged so we stood in water during our (quick) showers. Room service did not remove any trash or old food plates, left dirty towels and did not provide any fresh towels.

Check in was good, but had to ask for another room. The girl at the front desk was a superstar. Seemed like she was the only one working in the whole place. I may have been spoiled staying at a new Drury the night before. This one was older and not as clean. Breakfast area cramped and ran out of food. Had to wait for an amount of time to get replenished. Wouldn’t stay at this one again.

Stayed one night and it was great! Pool was cold but it was nice to play in the pool and then have taco night right there in the hotel!!!

My dad picked this hotel mid-trip to the Carolinas I have not stayed in a Drury Inn before and won’t go out of my way to do so again. It feels like there are better options in the sterile/corporate bracket, despite the popcorn machine in the lobby and a dodgy happy hour.

The receptionist was NOT friendly from the first moment. then she made a HUGE mistake and put us in a regular room with a king bed, we had paid for a king SUITE. I had to call to ask for a discount, she offered a pitiful $10 and I haven't received it yet on my credit card. other than that, it was solid, breakfast was TOTALLY average , not worthy of high ratings, as we get this at cheaper hotels

I enjoyed everything about our stay except for the first night, which was quite noisy. Some children on the third floor, where our room was located, were making noise until 2 a.m. The staff were very kind and friendly.

They would not accept my virtual card that I used to book room. It was in my Apple wallet and was clear it was my card. However they would not allow me to get the room.

The staff was very accomodating. I requested for my rooms to be side by side and they rearranged everything to accommodate my request. The indoor/outdoor pool and jacuzzi were fun. There were plenty of chairs to lounge in and towels provided to dry off. There is a FREE meal every night with free adult drinks. They had bbq sliders and mac n cheese among other food items. My son said the food was delicious. There's even a breakfast buffet in the morning that is free. We didnt make it to breakfast. The only problem that i personally had was the hotel smelled old to me. It has been updated nicely but it had a lingering old smell. Other than that, i enjoyed myself and we are looking forward to returning before the end of 2025.

The hotel was well appointed. Really liked the large rooms and their layout. Bathroom could have used a lock for privacy but not a huge concern. Really appreciated the breakfast and happy hour food choices and the availability of coffee and softdrinks. Only downside was that the hot tub was broken for two of the nights of our stay. The manager did compensate us for the inconvenience though so that was appreciated.

We try to stay here each time we are in the area. The hospitality is wonderful. The bonus of buffet supper included is a great perk. The bed was a bit softer than we like this time but okay.

From check-in, to the hot tub and pools, the amazing breakfast spread, the hotel bar, the happy hour food options, and the entire staff, you need to stay at this location!!! Way better than a typical stay at similar chains. Room was clean and very spacious. Loved the amenities offered for guests. The hotel was packed with guests and yet I always found parking. I love this Charlotte location and will only stay here when I visit the area. It was located super close to downtown areas and it was never loud or noisy in the hallways.

This hotel is a hidden gem. We stayed here during the Players Championship PGA tournament and we were absolutely blown away by the staff and the value for your money. It is not a high end hotel, but it is amazingly clean, the staff are unbelievably friendly and accommodating and the extras in their free breakfast, happy hour and happy hour buffet was excellent. They really go above and beyond.

My wife and I decided to have a nice romantic getaway and chose Drury for its indoor pool and closeness to the Whitewater Centrt. From the moment we arrived until we left we felt welcomed and cared for. We were impressed with the facility and staff. We will definitely stay there in the future.

My stay at the Drury was a very impressive one! From the welcoming staff, to the cleaniness of the hotel, this place was a great hidden gem I'm glad I found for a lastin stay! The pool was great with a part indoor/outdoor area & hot tub to enjoy & they kept you fed with not only lunch, but enough for dinner as well at their evening happy hour with food, not snacks! This is my new go to when I travel & I see they are expanding! I loved it!!!

The supper and the drink offerings were great as well although we could t take advantage of them. Next time. I will be doing some traveling to Charlotte in the next Several mknths and I tend to stay here each time.

The staff was pleasant, the free kickback was lovely, the room decor seems a little outdated but the property was very clean.
