Days Inn by Wyndham Charlotte University

I have spent days contacting them only for the front desk attendant to admit I should have only been charged $20 & not $50. Then the attendant went on to say I was being charged $20 for yellow stains on my sheets, which is absurd. I left that room clean when I checked out and I certainly didn't leave "yellow stains" on my sheets. Thats my first issue... Secondly my TV didn't work for the entirety of my stay. I contacted the front dezk the first day of my stay and they promised someone would come by to fix it but no one ever came and I was there for six days. There were also roaches in the room. I had to go to the store to purchase cleaning products before I could even get settled in DO NOT STAY ATTHIS HOTEL. THE MANAGEMENT ARE SCAMMERS AND THE HOTEL IS DISGUSTING AND ROACH INFESTED

The towels wasn't too clean .... the shower stewer was not able to turn not enough tissue

I reserved and paid for a smoking room. Upon arrival the room I reserved wasn’t available. I had to pay an additional fee for a smoking room. Also-it’s not clean. The floors were filthy. “Undesirable” people hang out at the entrance looking for people to “keep company”.

Would not stay here again, not a very good place to stay.

Everything. The place is in the worst place. A whole bunch of homeless and drug dealers had the place surrounded. Let me not get started on the room. It smelled like I dont know what, the floor was dirty, the bed sheets were dirty, the tub had standing water in it, I had to wipe down everything. We didnt even take a shower. The place is disgusting. And then when I spoke with the front desk she acted like she didnt care.

Nothing Staff and management discrimination and refusal to obey applicable federal and state laws. Management/owner unwilling to do more than say "sorry when confronted with the option to settle cases outside of court (funny when they realized that not only was the suite filed they had to pay back all filing and legal fees while assuming I was bluffing and wouldn't file despite explicitly saying this is a slam dunk case and offering to settle outside of court....oh well their loss. Front desk staff was the worst a child in an adults body with rebuttal like "but daddy said!" (Replace the word dayy with manager and you get the picture) and completely refusing to consult the law, the owner, or cooperate only willing to call the manager that instructed him to break he law in his training..... and had the disposition of "it doesnt matter if I act unprofessionally and break the law because its nit like it will effect me...." also there was t "guests' the motel was largely vacant outside of ob joys dealers and addicts and a few homeless families just trying to get by best they could. This really isnt a safe place though considering the obvious gang activities and using the hotel to traffick drugs and deal from and its also obvious the front desk clerk was buddies with those involved and took forever to even get back to the desk from his room while being the only person on the property working.. and it was the friendly neighborhood dealer who had to call the guy... um lol dear owner patel you might want to hire people who arent doing the drugs hes allowing guests to sell on your property....

Was not clean! Walls were dirty. Saw cockroaches in the floor. No breakfast (stated breakfast included). Area is not safe.

The desk worker was pleasent. Very dirty. An anchor dust on everything, hairs on clean towels, cigarette burns in bedspread, etc. I understand it being dated but no excuse for the level of filth.

The staff was kind, but the cleanliness was a joke to me. Disgusting bathroom, shower made me feel dirtier than cleaner and the floors were sticky. Who knows when the last was that the room was vacuumed and mopped. Hair and stains in my sheets. Asked for a clean blanket and that was stained as well. Don’t stay here.

There was ppl doing drugs in the parking lot I didn't sleep well at all because I didn't feel safe I was afraid they would brake into my vehicle in fact I only stayed one night because I was so uncomfortable

Very dirty and extremely poorly maintained. Police were called in due to a loud dispute between two guests. It felt like a sad halfway house. I did not feel safe, but was too tired to find another hotel.

The bed was comfortable. The location. The Hotel is clearly old and needs work. The doors had kid drawings on them. The shower did not work.

Not a 5 star motel. But would recommend as a budget stay. Room was very clean and staff friendly. Not located in the best part of town.... Although I felt safe and motel appears to have control over their property.

Price Honestly my expectations were not much for the money that I was going to be paid. The location was in my opinion in the hood. Many prostitutes and people just walking aimlessly on the road coming into the hotel.

our shower in the room didn’t work it was water leaking from the toilet and under the sink the pipe was leaking as well

I was only there because my car broke down 😭 but the room was clean and the staff was friendly and it was convenient since I was there for a show at black box

Nothing. My first room was filthy the second one I checked in was filthy as well it had roaches and I couldn’t take a proper shower.

I like the fact that the hotel is close to the highway and restaurants. I was a cheap and convenient place to rest. The hotel is nasty, disgusting, and is filled with drug addits and prostitutes.

This was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed at. Not only was it dirty but there were bugs in the room and not just in the bathroom but on every surface and even in the bed. There was dirt on the pillowcase and covers. Outside were a lot of unsavory people. When I returned to the place last evening around 8 pm there were two police SUVs on property and the officers were inside the front office. Speaking of the front office, they are “safely” locked inside. You can’t just walk in; they have to buzz you in. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Rather worn-down, the room was still clean with fresh sheets. Staff were helpful and pretty friendly. My biggest beef was the clear statement on the Expedia website that breakfast was included. There was a big sign literally right by the office door about a "complementary breakfast." There was no breakfast, and in the words of the staff, "Since day 1 there has never been breakfast." That's no ok.

this is the worse place in charlotte. do not go. staff prioritizes only which they fe. checked out early didnt refund.(2 days) also they will steal your points.

Disgusting inside and out. Holes in the pillow cases. Bathroom run down. Loud sirens and cursing...

How the tub looked, how the bathroom door wouldn't shut, the room made us itchy. Like it reaped of cigarettes likenoone never opened the door to let air in. The smell was really in the room. Hot water wasn't hot. It was late and I didn't feel like looking for something else but we want be back nor recommend it to anyone.

When I pulled the covers back on my bed it looked like somebody had been playing in the bed with dirty feet on and off the floor there was pee stains there was blood stains nobody wants to sleep in that they going to bring me sheets and tell me to change my own bed there was no way that housekeeping had been in that room that day not for that bed to look like it did It was a very sorry state won't be doing it again

It’s unlivable the bathroom have mold in them the shower floors are completely molting . Appliances stuck from the wall lights burnt out it’s unsafe and unlivable and I’m really thinking of reposting them to Wyndham

After getting 2 rooms where the doors did not lock and they were filthy with hairs on the bed and stains on the comforter, I had to leave. While leaving I was approached by several people for cigarettes and money. This is an unsafe place. Do not go here. Seriously. There are other budget hotels that won’t get you killed.

Nothing The people that was walking around at all times of the hour. The bathroom was so dirty and the sheets were dirty.

Blood on bed spread

While the staff was wonderful and the room clean…there was a stabbing which resulted in death on the property on the evening of my stay. While I checked out because I did not feel safe, l was unable to leave the property to attend the event I had travelled hundreds of miles to attend, because there is only one entrance/exit, which was blocked off by officers, investigators, police tape, and vehicles for four or five hours as they investigated the travesty. In addition, I was not refunded for my stay, even though I was only ‘checked in’ for a couple of hours.

Worst attitude would never go back booked for 3 days and got turned away

It was okay, comfortable bed. But felt unsafe, tons of people staying outside not even checked in

Every pillow in that room was so hard I could not sleep. As many years as I stayed at hotels, i've never encountered this before. Heavy use of marijuana is in the air everywhere. Affecting my allergies as well.

I didn't even make it to the room. I pulled up in the parking lot and there were prostitutes and junkies. It looks like the kind of place where a drug deal goes down. For the credibility of you site, i think that you should delist this one. The hotel and the area doesn't look safe.

The hotel was beyond dirty! Doesn't look like the floor has been swept in between guest nor the sheets changed. I went to the store and bought my own sheets/ blanket. The advertised breakfast was nonexistent. The shower head had a leak and instead of fixing it with plummers's tape they put a plastic bag there. Shower/Tub was dirty. The outside of the place is dirty with trash. Homeless population is high in surrounding areas. Only good thing was the staff and walking distance from nice neighborhood, Community center and Park.

Yellow stains on the bedsheets, and finally lots of baby roaches coming out from the tiles near the shower. I wasn’t feeling well this morning so did not mention anything to front desk. I can send pictures if necessary and don’t expect a refund, but I would love to possibly get a voucher for a free night by the Days Inn. Thank you

OMG, I can't believe you would have such a place on your site. What a pig sty. Reception area smelled like weed, vagrants walking around watching what room I was going too, pan handlers at the entrance to the place. Sheets soiled and looked to be decades old.. I left. Packed up and left

Didn't get to stay in room due to going to wrong location. Then neither the booking company or hotel were willing to help for a free night, a transfer to the location I was at or refund

The room was ok, linens were clean, so that was a plus. Random hairs around the room, stone floors. My biggest issue was the location, which I didn't know was a bad part of town. When we arrived, staff was escorting vagrants from the property. I walked to the gas station nearby & was solicited by prostitutes. Staff wasn't overly welcoming, seems like they don't get the best guests & treated me like I was using the room for questionable activities. My son & I were going to the Panthers game. Won't stay here next visit.

The pillows have stains. there's a cockroach crawling on our vanity. the floor is sticky, the sheets are itchy. the worst thing about the property is the surrounding area, there are people walking around the property that are not renting/tenants. we spotted people fighting just outside the property.

No shampoo, tub did not hold water, floor was so disgusting it turned my feet black.

1st room had Stains on Blanket filthy bathroom, even had a dirty wash cloth hanging over shower curtain pole with pubes on it. Then got moved to a room with a smaller bed that had blood stains on the Sheets. There were dogs barking til 2am. Lots of Homeless roaming the area knocking on my cars window while my wife was in the car and I was inside trying to get the room. People on the stairs and balconies doing hard drugs. Online said they had breakfast, well there was none. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things but overall the worst Hotel I've ever been to hands down. They did not even offer us anything in return for our troubles. Do not recommend at all.

Very dirty very loud

Hotels.com stated this location as “Uptown”. It is NOT UPTOWN. Also there is nothing on hotels.com stating the poor neighborhood and dozens of people standing around The hotel entrance. No one would visit me because of where I was staying. Hotels.com has dropped in quality when you merged. I used to get a free room every 10 stays. Now I get $1 here or there. Clearly I’m moving to another hotel app.

I didn’t like it because it was not clean. The room was not clean the bed was filthy the towels was dirty I can’t believe they actually expected someone to sleep on those filthy sheets bedspread you pay for a clean bed you would like a clean bed the bed was filthy.

Nothing was cleaned and the walls has cob webs on them and the flooring needs to be cleaned. The fridge was off and had a bad odor when I opened it

This is the type of place that makes Expedia look bad... Only because it's even an option to choose from. This place needs to be shut down.
