    The room was quiet The area is very bad and sketchy, the images online were not a good reflection of where we were actually staying, we did not let our teenage kids leave the room, especially after dark. The gas hatch was open as if our gas was siphoned when we got back to our car in the morning. Inside the hotel, our top comforter sheet had black skiffs and was clearly not cleaned, the shower curtain was not clean. The ice machine for the whole hotel wasn’t working. The front desk woman was less than pleasant. Just overall would not recommend to anyone with a family or expecting a nice clean stay.

    I was impressed by this hotel. The prices were really low in comparison to others; however, the amenities were definitely on par with more pricey properties. The breakfast was good, the airport shuttle was swift, and check-in was easy. I’ll stay here again.

    Booked this hotel for the pool that is listed on the site, I arrive with my children and the pool is closed down and has been. When i asked about a refund of some sort i was told i could get a partial but then told I couldnt receive it because I booked through hotels.com and then nothing after. The side door was unlocked the entire two nights stay and there were people off the street coming in with there pets through the side door and just sitting in the hallway. I felt very unsafe I was a single mother traveling with my 2 young children. Do not recommend.

    Check-in and check-out were very easy and fast. I was a bit surprised by the front desk attendants’ reaction when I brought to their attention the fact that one of the four pillows on my bed had blood droplets stains. I only noticed it in the morning but .. before I shaved.It didn’t seem to be too concerning and I did not hear a solid apology. The main thing I heard was that it would be brought to the manager’s attention. This made me wonder if the sheets had been changed on my bed. I must admit that the sheets did look a bit tired and not as crisp as I had experienced them about a week earlier when I stayed at the same hotel. I was also a bit surprised when some staff members I came across in the hallway did not initiate a greeting and did not return my greeting. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again if my travels take me that way again.

    Tha facility was old and not well updated. Although it was clean many areas were in poor conditon. The parking lot had horrible holes in the asphalt that were difficult to navigate. The employees were great even though they were obviously understaffed. Twice when I needed the front desk they were gone on a shuttle run to the airport. They returned quickly but it was still inconvenient. Exterior lighting was not in good working order and the exterior door closest to our room could not be opened from the outside. It would not take much to make it a great place again.

    Came to stay here while I was attending class. Room is very nice, bed very soft. Minor ding on there and not being any soap bars near the sink, and the body wash soap was finished after the first day I was there, but otherwise it was a pleasant stay

    I only like the outside seating area I thought I would enjoy my stay but whoever was in the office last night 05/22/2026 was very disrespectful to me because I asked him a question and continued to antagonize me. I was rushed to book ( asked if I could use my ps5 while I stayed in my room to the tv and also that I work from home I needed to connect my work computer ) and when I got to hotel the same person who rushed me to book after I realized the WiFi would not connect to the WiFi and when I went back to ask he told me that I needed to use hotspot that the hotel blocks other devices from using the WiFi so I missed work and used all my WiFi data also the guy that was rude lastnight 05/22/2026 let me know every time I try to extend my room a day I will continue everytime to pay a $50 deposit completely disappointed about my stay

    Clean, comfortable and convenient for Charlotte airport. WiFi didn't work for Android devices. Staff knew about this but nothing had been done. They said that iPhones didn't have a problem. Very frustrating being out of contact with airline for possible news on flight for return to UK as well as friends and family. This was the only hotel throughout a 3 week holiday that failed to provide a WiFi service for Android. On our one attempt to sample breakfast - there wasn't anything. No plates etc., no fresh ingredients, no staff.

    Stay away the worst this hotel isn't the cleanest nor the safest the area isn't a safe area specially if you have children while visiting. Guest smoking weed in the parking lot when you first arrive the entrance smells like a whole smoke lounge. The staff isn't helpful rude and disrespectful, manager isn't available to speak to complain about your stay bad decisions I ever made in a hotel stay.

    The staff did all that they were allowed to do in trying to accommodate us. The location was very convenient to the airport. I had booked and paid for two rooms but when I checked in I was told I only paid for one. The night clerk tried to call the manager a couple of times, but he was not answering, so I ended up paying extra money when I wasn't expecting to. Our friend's room smelled heavily of smoke. Our room had no tv service, so they changed our room.

    I checked in on Friday, April 17, 2026. When I got to my room, room 103, I found that the television wouldn’t come on and there was what appeared to be a hole in the chair in the room. The staff came and fixed the television. Later that night when I went to bed I discovered the mattress had a divot in it causing the mattress to be slanted. Sleep was uncomfortable. I asked staff for another room on Saturday and was told the hotel was full. Later I went to the ice machine and it was disgusting. It looked filthy and there was no way I would use it.

    Our room didn't have toilet paper or towels, you could not adjust the air conditioning unit, the shower head was partially broken and spraying sideways, and the hot and cold water were switched directionally in the shower. The hotel was generally shabby. But the staff were nice and helpful.

    Anything you asked the front desk about, was immediately followed by I need to ask a manager. That is if you could find someone working the front desk, as they were also responsible for the shuttle runs between the airport and hotel. Breakfast was not stocked. There was no fridge in our room, so they took one from another room and then all of our stuff froze. When taking a shower, the water ran right out of the tub and flooded the bathroom floor. They wanted to charge us an extra towel fee. It has been between 80 and 90 for a few weeks and the pool was not opened. No answer as to why or when it would be opened. Will not be returning!

    The location The parking lot leading up to the hotel, the fact that they took my towels from my room at 10 AM while I was out of the room and didn't bring new towels until after calling five times for towels. I didn't get new towels until 3 PM because I was told that they had to wash and do the laundry so they should invest in more towels for the hotel. I got locked out of my room because the battery on the door stopped working. The hotel floors are dirty. The staff seems overworked and underpaid. And breakfast should last till 10 AM.

    Great place for the price. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. However, we ordered a crib/pack n play and never got one. I even called the day of to make sure that we were all set, but, once we arrived, there was no crib. The staff had no idea how to get a crib. Usually housekeeping has to get cribs and set them up which is why I called just after noon so that housekeeping would be there to put the crib in the room. This happens at a lot of hotels so make sure you really check because now that leaves a baby in an unsafe sleep situation. I wish more hotels would take that seriously.

    I always count on the quality of the Country Inn & Suites, and the room was fine and clean. The location of this hotel behind closed/run down buildings with car sized potholes makes it immediately concerning; which I see now why the rates are low for this chain; its location. I felt safe in the room, but not in the area.

    It’s clean and quiet this place is our go to. I didn’t like the fact that my wife came in from smoking cigarettes and she put a cigarette out and put it back inside the pack which makes the cigarette smell very strong. They stated that they smelled smoke and put us out the room. That was the most frustrating thing ever.

    El cuarto fatal. A la 1 a.m se escuchaban gritos risas los portazos afuera de los cuartos podemos escuchar hasta la gente que iba por el hielo fue una noche que dormimos muy mal. Al día siguiente pedimos cambio de habitación y el gerente nos dijo que no se podía ya que no tenía personal para limpiar los cuartos y que no podía hacer nada al respecto a pesar de que le explicamos toda nuestra situación. Nos dijo que no iba a volver a pasar pero ni siquiera pudo pedirnos una disculpa. Le pedimos que por lo menos si podrían hacernos el cuarto para llegar y poder descansar en un cuarto limpio y a gusto y dijo que no que la limpieza se hacía cada tercer día le dijimos que por lo menos hiciera lo posible que ya habíamos tenido una muy mala noche que nos hiciera el favor y dijo que lo único que se podía era que nos dieran toallas y fue todo. Nos molestamos mucho pues lo que intentamos era descansar dos noches y no pudimos hacerlo la siguiente noche aunque prometió que iba a estar más tranquila la experiencia fue la misma se escuchaban todas las puertas cerrándose la gente azotando la puerta de entrada la máquina de hielo en fin fue una estancia muy desagradable.

    The property was short staffed with no one able to pick us up from the airport upon arrival. One main reasons I went with an airport hotel is I did not want to deal with a rental car at midnight. The person I spoke to on the phone said they had no idea when someone would be able to pick us up. After rearranging my rental car I was going to pick up the next day, I drove myself to the property, I learned that a customer was answering the phone. No one from the property tried to explain or even apologize for the shuttle service not working and why a customer was answering the phone. As a woman traveling with my teenage daughter, I won't be returning to the property. The breakfast was only from 7am-9am on a Sunday and very little that was not a carb. The bed was comfortable.

    I could tell this was an older property that had been remodel. While most items looked good. My bathroom light did not work. It had old popcorn ceiling. While i took a shower ( in the dark) the tub made lots of noise when i moved around. And the But the staff were very nice and helpful.

    Country Inn & Suites was a site for our sore weary traveler eyes! We were only able to get about 5 hours of sleep there (due to a late night arrival and an early morning checkout due to an early morning flight) but our sleep was solid, comfortable, safe, affordable and extremely close to the airport. (I didn’t take advantage!) noisy motorcycle around 9pm but otherwise quiet (despite jolly good bar and grill in the parking area. shuttle at 02.30 super efficient- recommended probably!

    I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel, but there were a few issues. 1) the carpet in room 241 needs to be cleaned. 2) the entry bathroom did not have a outside door handle. 3) the outside entry and walkway needed to be shoveled & salted, it was an accident waiting to happen. Other than that, I would come again, very spacious room.

Luckily room was at least clean as far as we could tell. Pretty run-down though. All the little things and rough edges add up to 2 stars. Should be a $50-60 a night hotel

    They did not clean our room at all during our stay and never brought us any clean towels and when we went to the front desk to get some even though the rep was nice we still did not get any towels because the laundry was not done and the breakfast was very poorly put together had a line of people waiting to make waffle my family and I said forget it and went out to eat not to mention the Thai food spot in front of hotel and a lot of deep potholes

    The beds were disappointing because they were super firm and uncomfortable. Housekeeping was confusing, front desk says you have to request 24 hours in advance, but the text the hotel sends out states housekeeping comes on the 3rd day-which they did not. It was usual that there wasn't a public restroom for use. They did have a small store inside the hotel which was great, but they take cash only.

    Room was dirty and extremely run down, there were two tiny roaches i needed to kill, counter tops weren’t clean, towels weren’t fully stocked, mini fridge still had dirt crumbs inside, and the room itself was decrepit. Staff was basic level of friendly. Shuttle access was easy enough and convenient. Complimentary breakfast was extremely limited, only apples, cereal with no milk, and low grade microwave sandwiches, don't plan on eating waffles or eggs or sausage. Elevators are dirty, carpeting is old and stained. Parking lot is filled with potholes. Stay there at your own risk. Any of the good reviews must have been done by friends of the workers or paid reviewers.

    The property was nice, but older. The curtains were off track on the far end, the shade had a tear in it, the flooring was cracked, the lamp was broken and glued back together, the room smelled of cigarette smoke, the deadlock on the door did not work (and we really tried!), the HVAC made whirling and gurgling noises when it was on, my husband heard a beep all night long, the refrigerator was loud when it came on, and there was a constant underlying buzz/hum that was not related to the airport. I'm sorry to the owners for this review, but we got the room great at a great rate!

    I had a king sized bed, but it only had four small and terrible pillows. I had to ask for a bigger pillow for my room. The small foyer is dark when you enter the room and there no light switch either. The televisions should have a guide for patrons to use. Plus the televisions should have smart apps if patrons won't to watch Netflix, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+ etc. Please do recognize the staff for providing excellent customer service.

    The room was clean. The bathroom faucet in the tub kept leaking. The bathroom tub floor felt unstable. The staff was nice. I just think that they should monitor their guest that brings in Marijuana. Not everyone is a pothead and likes the smell of weed in the stairway and in the hallway going to and from your room. When i walked in the place smelled clean. Given the area it was in, it was unexpected. Nothing like the pictures they show online.

    There were visible bloodstains on the carpet. The room was dirty and nothing was dusted or cleaned. The carpets throughout the entire building were stained and dirty. The building is old and run down. I was scheduled to stay for three nights but checked out after the first night because I felt unsafe.     so it was to hard to use. I was in the dining room for almost 30 minutes and the staff member never once looked to see if anything needed replacing. Guest had to keep going into the kitchen to request things. It was also difficult to communicate with her as she did not speak english nor seemed to know her job description. At one point she carried a large bucket with the contents covered making sure no one could see what she was carrying and returned 10 minutes later without the bucket. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    The room had running water coming from the shower head and spilling onto the floor. We placed towels over it but the whole bathroom floor was wet. There were clear cracks in the wall and probably some mildew issues from the dampness. The bed was fine. The rest of the environment was noisy and smelled of drugs. Needed the room in a pinch so it did its job, but it was dirty, noisy, and generally uncomfortable. Staff was kind and helpful.

    I think Choice hotels obviously paid Google or Expedia for a favorable recommendation. This place is a dump and is extremely run down. Dog pee carpets and filth everywhere! It’s old and needs to be torn down. They show a 96% cleanliness award in the lobby behind the desk, but it has to be fake. No part of this hotel could be called clean. Even the hallways stink! It’s in a sketchy neighborhood and sketchy looking people were lingering around. The facility might be better, if there was an adequate staff and if its owner spent a little money to upgrade it. It’s obvious to me that whoever owns this place is only interested in milking it dry until someone condemns it. When we checked in there was quite a long line, because this hotel owner only scheduled one person to be on duty. The breakfast was by far the very worst of anyplace we have ever stayed - poor selection, poor quality, cheap to the core. Breakfast ends at 9:00, but you’d better be there by 8:00, because when they run out of very limited food items, they do not replenish the offerings. I’ve never experienced a juice machine which had the water/juice ratio jacked up to be probably 65% water, but this particular Country Inn and Suites offers extremely watered down juice and coffee. Over the years, we’ve stayed at other Country Inn & Suites and have always associated the brand with a good reputation. I may further investigate with their national branding organization. Do Not Stay Here!!!

    Location is difficult to find. Signage from road is not good. Their pantry is a joke. Only two drinks were available, iced tea in a bottle, and a horrible-taasting lemonade. Snacks were minimal. We had a broken tile in our room. It wasn't a crack, but a chunk of the corner was completely missing. We would not advise anyone to stay there.

    This place deserves ZERO stars! First the hotel looks nothing like it was advertised to be. During check in my fiance asked the front desk worker if we could see our room first he said no. Then that night we were sitting outside and a homeless man walks up to the back door near the pool and tries to pick the lock off the door. There’s drug adducts all outside the hotel smoking crack. I checked out Within an hour of arriving. The rooms were filthy, the property is filthy and very ran down. The dread head work and female working at the front desk looked too high to even function. They gave us the wrong room twice which already had occupants. I paid for a hotel i couldn’t even stay at!!!!!!

    Room - Dirty furniture, non operational sink. Maintenance came and pulled the stopper and has not returned. Large water bug smashed in the hallway near where an external door (also non operational) has a a gap of at least an inch from the floor. Amenities/Dining - We are decaf coffee drinkers. There was none available on the 24-hour coffee bar nor at breakfast. I would also suggest maple syrup instead of honey for waffles. Overall we were disappointed. We have patronized other Comfort Inn & Suites in NC and VA, this one by far was the worst experience we’ve had. Of all the choices we had available, we’re sorry we chose this one.

    I stayed here two nights while I did an event in nearby Mt Holly, & I wish I had chosen a different hotel. I get the impression that housekeeping does the best they can with the rundown rooms. The hallway had the same sticky spots for three days. The breakfast was all rubbery & unappealing, & Sunday morning I waited almost ten minutes to get a cup after they’d run out. Monday morning - with no notice - there just wasn’t any breakfast offered. The pictures show a broken lamp (which I moved to the floor so I could use the desk lamp instead), a broken smoke detector, & poorly maintained interiors. Front desk personnel were unempathetic & brusque. This one’s definitely off the list for my next time visiting the area!

    Water was shut off & ran brown. No time was given for when the problem would be fixed. Internet crashed & upon check out was given a post it note to confirm it was before the time originally intended for checkout. Huge potholes all through the parking lot, halls reek of smoke.(both cigarette & marijuana) Stains in the floors of the lobby & elevator. Honestly, this place should be shut down. As soon as you are near the hotel you know you’ve made the wrong decision. Building looks like it’s been around since the 1800’s.

    The staff was friendly. The room was nice and clean, however, the bed was way too high! it was almost the same level as the dresser that the television was on. It was hard to get into, but once in, was very comfortable. I was told that the room we had was one of the rooms with the "newer" bed, but it was hard to get into. Breakfast was not that hot, even though we came down a little after 7am

    I sent clients to this hotel for a night. They would not let us pay the deposit over the phone so would not let our employees stay. They did not have any money to pay for it. Country Inn then would not give them a ride back to the airport because they did not stay. They ended up walking 45 min back to the airport and then kept our money we paid for the room. Is this how you treat people? Terrible

    It was mediocre. I arrived at 1am because of a delayed flight. The room I was assigned had no internet service. Counters were dusty. Perhaps the room hadn’t been used in a while. I went for breakfast and there was barely anything left and no coffee at 8 am. The times I went to the front desk there was no one there. I did receive text welcoming me and one for easy check out. I loved that the furniture was modern and new.

    The photos provided on the advertisement do not at all match reality. The building was in complete disrepair. The parking lot had massive pot holes throughout. The entire hotel had a strong sulphur odor including the individual rooms. Our room, an upgraded suite, had cracked tile in the bathroom and mildew throughout the tile surround. The AC unit had a large gap where you could see through to the outside. We were supposed to have a sleeper sofa, but instead had some weird modified storage sofa. Internet was remarkably slow. For the price, we could have stayed at a Hampton Inn much more comfortably and had a bit longer drive. Absolutely do not recommend d this hotel.

    The overall appearance of the property was terrible. When I pulled onto the property I immediately started looking for another hotel, didn’t feel safe. The pictures on the site are misleading. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    Swimming pool was closed and it’s not mentioned anywhere over the site , bad experience in breakfast as I reached there at 8 30 and almost everything was finished , waited for 45 mins just to get the food and that is continuously to and fro from reception to kitchen and then ultimately had to leave as I didn’t have much time just to wait on breakfast area.

    It seems to be in a rough neighborhood. The pool was out of commission due to not meeting pool inspection standards. We found multiple hairs in our bedsheets. The shower head was cracked and spraying against the wall of the shower.

    The door in the bathroom wouldn’t shut, was over painted and held together with screws. Generally the room was a colossal disappointment. The exterior of the hotel was also falling apart, hard to believe the room cost as much as it did being such a dump and sorely in need of a major renovation.

    We called several hotels about their pool, Charlotte I-85 said YES theirs is open. We get there, it's closed. I said I called yesterday & you said it was open. They said what time did we call? I said 8. He asked if we were rewards members & I said yes, can you look it up? NOPE but thanks for being a member. Package cookies for the cookies & ran out, never refilled the 2 days. Alarm was going off at night & they were sweeping up water. Alarm was still going off next morning, we had to eat breakfast with alarm & they had no plates, no oatmeal, & staff was just eating & never checking it. Didn't clean our room & we asked for it. Disapointed for a Country Inn

    Very old and run down hotel. Pool not open and was nasty and run down. Outside trash overflowing and all around property. Winnie in room dirty. Lady at check-in on her phone and not friendly. Cut and dry while she continued to talk to friend on phone. Went down later to ask for something she still on phone and did not want to be bothered by me it seemed. Ian am surprised this brand hotel this bad.

    This place is an absolute dump. It is falling apart. The tiles in the ceiling have water damage and are falling out of the ceiling. Carpet has stains. I didn’t use the pool but I heard people complain that the water was dirty. I asked for extra towels and was told they only had one. One towel! Wooden boards under the mattress were constantly shifting and falling in. Breakfast was ok (waffle maker, toast, eggs, biscuits, pork sausage). Toilet seat broken. No bathrooms in the lobby (being renovated supposedly). I could go on and on. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Do not come here, stay somewhere else!!!!!!!!!!!! ZERO STARS!!!!
