The hotel itself did not feel as clean or well-maintained as I expected. Our room could have been in better condition, and the lighting was so dim that it made the space feel uninviting. One of the biggest frustrations, however, was simply navigating the property. The layout was confusing and made getting around far more difficult than it should have been. When I stay at a hotel, I expect convenience, comfort, and ease. Instead, I found myself frustrated by basic aspects of the experience, from parking and navigation to the overall condition of the room. Unfortunately, this stay did not meet my expectations.

The cleanliness of the room and the professionalism of the staff is always above and beyond absolutely my favorite place to stay downtown.

We arrived late after a long drive. The A/C unit in the room was very loud. Maintenance looked into it but couldn’t fix it. We were already settled in and were only staying one night, so we decided to deal with it. Each time the fan kicked on it woke me up.

It wasn’t crowded and the staff were very nice and willing to answer questions with a smile. The room was very clean, I was very pleased. There were no dislikes.

Its proximity to the Spectrum Center! While in the heart of downtown, I felt extremely safe and the noise was very dampened in my room! The from desk, restaurant, and bar staff were extremely kind! I liked everything!

Hotel is okay the only perk is the balcony and location. Booked a room and got an upgraded junior suite but it was dirty with hair everywhere and space was very small. Basically paid almost $400 for a balcony with a view of nothing.

This was my first time here and it was amazing. The room was clean, couldn’t see really in the bathroom due to a light being out. I really loved the balcony and the view from the rooftop. I feel like the parking should be free for all guests as well as the breakfast but overall it was beautiful.

Room was great and we valeted our vehicles so that was easy. The only complaint for us women was the lighting in the bathroom and room is so dim it was hard to due our makeup. Girl problems. But overall a great stay with a great rooftop bar.

Very convenient location if attending an event at The Spectrum Center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but the shower wasn't the cleanest. The bathroom floor also could have used a good steam. Luckily, I always bring my own cleaning supplies.

Parking / valet was a nightmare. There was no bellman and I assumed the valet was going to take care of my running vehicle and luggage while I got my 2 dogs upstairs. Nope, my car was running and unlocked and unattended 20 yards away from any staff by the street and homeless addicts. The elevators were slow averaging a 3-5 minute wait and were as hot as a sauna. NEVER STAY HERE

Parking and entry was a little difficult when choosing to self park. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooftop bar was busy and fun with great selections. Rooms were spacious and clean. The only things that were not as expected were the lighting in the bathroom was very dim and no microwave in the room.

Toilet stopped up and wasnt fixed. Maintainence showed up when it was time for us to check out. That's unexceptable. TV didnt work. We were told by another Maintainence worker there's a short in the and its been like that. Very displeased especially for the fact that I paid over $300 fir one night. What i listed.above.

i needed fresh towels + wash cloths, i asked on 2 different days. the first day i called down to the front desk they stated someone will be right up to give them to us, waited for hours and nobody came. we so happened to see housekeeping cleaning another room and gave us some off the cart. another day we stopped by the front desk, she also stated they will have someone bring them to our room, again waited and nobody came. we saw another housekeeper and asked her she mentioned she didn't have any on her cart but told another housekeeper and said she will bring them to our room, waited AGAIN & still nobody came.

Hotel room was a bit dirty, huge stain on my mattress, brown stain on towel and hair throughout on the floor. Chair by window was also broken and had a odd smell.

The hotel is located right across the Spectrum Center, walk over to event. Walking distance of lots of restaurants. From desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Getting in and out of the parking garage can get bottlenecked at times and the elevators were ridiculously slow. You could smell the use of weed from the people hanging outside around the hotel every time we left and came back.

The sheets barely fit over a very torn mattress pad that was exposed. The hallway leading to our room smelled like marijuana. The crib they brought me for our infant had no crib sheet or mattress pad and appeared very dirty.

This is my favorite hotel in Charlotte. The location is excellent!! Smells great and clean. Fridge didn’t work, two small bottles of water and sliding door (bathroom) was off the track.

Overall, the stay was ok. I did not have a enough towels or wash cloths, which I asked for when I arrived but it took 24 hours to get more after 4 calls to the front office. My shower also had hair in it. I have stayed in AC at least 4 times, and this is the first time I felt my room was not clean.

Had no water for the first 3 hours of the stay, the toilets were disgusting because of that, didn’t have hot water when the water came back, was offered nothing for the inconvenience.

We stayed at this Hotel for the Hornets Vs Chicago Bulls game. The location was great. All we did was walk across the street and we were there. The staff was very nice, and the room was spotless. We will definitely stay here again!

Even setting aside the friendly staff and the thoughtful welcome gift, what truly stood out during my stay was the overall quality of the experience. The room was impressively clean—spotless, well-maintained, and comfortably arranged. The amenities were equally notable, offering everything I needed without feeling overdone. While the service was already excellent, the combination of a pristine room and well-chosen amenities made the stay feel especially seamless and relaxing.

Room was clean but beds & pillows aren’t that comfortable. We booked for 4 guests, were only given 2 towels and had to wait a long time for more towels. Sink was backed up & didn’t drain which wasn’t ideal for a shallow sink. Need to take elevator to the check in floor and there is always a wait for the elevators. It was conveniently located but I wouldn’t stay here again given other options near by.

The room overall was nice and of course she got to love the views but, what was advertised as a single King room was definitely a queen. Regardless of what was told to me, I have a king bed in my home, and the bed in my room definitely was not that. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and will probably be back there when I'm next in Charlotte. By the way my room was not serviced but this may be a new trend of service only when requested

Was a wonderful hotel but was disappointed to wake up after an exhausting day to a Luke warm shower. We were in town for a concert at Spectrum and it was a very easy walk. Walk downstairs to the Red Eye for breakfast, so delish and the coffee was perfection.

I would definitely recommend this hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly and welcoming. We received a free upgrade to a balcony room. It was spacious and the tv had a decent amount of channels. Food at the restaurants were delicious. Also, this hotel boasts the highest rooftop bar in Charlotte. Up the block is a Walgreens and also walking distance to other restaurants and venues.

From Mr. Franklin gtreeting us at the front door and pushing our luggage cart up to check-in because one of the wheels was warped and wobbling to Eric at the front desk so was externally personable. This was my first stay at an AC pellets but if this is the level of hospitality that I'm going to get every time, I'll definitely be back sooner them

Our hotel was in the heart of the city. Easy access to just about everything, especially seasonal event!

Cleanliness is where this property needs to focus on, they don’t offer housekeeping service daily, unless you have 3+ nights, i had my trash cans with trash and needed fresh towels. Also mattress has stains on it.

When we arrived we were told they didn’t have any junior suites ready despite it being 3:30 30 min past check-in time listed we spoke with on site manager and we were given hotel credit and comp. Parking. Once we arrived to the room it smelled like chemicals and a mildewed mop, the bed was broken, the cushions on the balcony were completely covered in mold and mildew!!! We called down to address this! When they arrived they had to completely flip the bed and found that the bed was even more damaged than we thought! It took them about an hour to fix. And regarding the mold and mildew they said there was nothing they could do and that they had a cleaning company that cleans them but that apparently hasn’t been done any time recently! They were also visibly old and misshaped! This is not what you expect when you pay close to $400 for one night! I usually don’t write reviews in fact this is my first one but this was our anniversary and we were extremely disappointed!!

The stay was fine and the room was clean but the lighting is horrible! Ladies if you wear makeup bring your own lighting because the lights are so dem it’s hard to do your makeup.

The fire alert said go to nearest exit we went to two exits and could get out these tow exits are dead ends check your stairs ways homeless people laying out on front of hotel the two stairsways near 1226 are the one's you can't go down all the way

Prime city center location, secure underground parking, great rooftop bar/restaurant, super friendly and professional staff.

We waited 45min for the room to be "cleaned". Finally get to the room and the bathroom floor was filthy and dead bugs on the balcony. Wouldn't make a big deal about that except, we were told they were cleaning the balcony and that's what was taking so long. With all that being said, the hospitality of the check- in crew was top notch. However, we won't stay again and I won't recommend.

Return to the hotel late and could not find my key and the staff in lobby refuse to let me in yelling stuff at me thru class door… a couple walked out allowing me to enter and he was talking about some call button..,it was late and that pissed me off… I would not stay here again 🙃

Enjoyed roof top music, view and dining

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing. It was very expensive for what was available. We were on a time crunch and not being familiar with the area, this was our only option. There was nothing that my daughter could eat so the staff was nice enough to not charge us for her but $17 a person was really disgraceful for what was provided.

The staff while checking in was great

There was a noise that I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from but it would wake me through the night. During checkout the patrons in the next room complained of a noise as well and indicated it was their fridge. Overall the stay was great and I would visit this hotel again.

Came in to town to celebrate friends birthday. Room was upgraded to a balcony and had a great view of the city. Room was clean and spacious. Only thing we hated was the smell of marijuana at night from the balcony.

The hotel was nice but the room was average not worth the money.

The staff was extremely friendly and courteous, they were super helpful. Would stay here again!

6/2025. Everything about my room on the 10th floor looked pretty new. I liked the shower with a Wand type shower head as well as rain shower. Water pressure was not as strong as i expected but still very good. There was some hair in the shower before I got in but the rest of the room seemed very clean! Elevator is confusing to get to the 5th floor lobby because it’s 2 hotels in one building. Staff was good and the view from the rooftop bar was fantastic ! Parking is tight coming in so friends picking you up need to time it for when you are already downstairs. It’ll work fine for drop offs.

The stay was great. Plenty of food options inside the hotel and around it too, which is important to me lol. Staff was friendly and quick to help via phone call, in person, and via Bonvoy app.

Stay was good but they did not clean the rooms, they then told us that for rooms to be cleaned we had to make a special request in the morning. Beds where not made, and bathroom was not cleaned, or towels added.

I've stayed at the AC before and this is why I chose this location again. Jasmine and Taylor at the front day provided excellent service and welcome.

Clean, nice customer service despite it being really busy. The breakfast buffet was basic and the rooftop bar is nice. Bed was comfortable. Shower was nice, but poor water pressure on the 12th floor. The toilet bowl design is really odd. It’s a square, so it’s uncomfortable and smaller framed people feel like you’re going to fall in! I didn’t appreciate the restaurant charging 20% automatically on all tabs, no matter how many people are in your party. Parking is $32 in addition to the room charge. Overall, an expensive night.

This was our first time staying at this property. We were pleased with all they had to offer and the price was great!

An entire shower door busted and fell apart while my husband was using the restroom and could’ve seriously injured him. They put us in a room that had a balcony, not even half the size of the room that we originally booked. The room was also smaller as well, and they proceeded to argue with me and telling me that it was the same exact room I offered to bring one of the staff upstairs so they could see that it clearly was not the same exact room. They still charged me for the room that I originally booked instead of offering any sort of discount or any sort of courtesy for what happened in the room that night we had to pack up all of our things and move rooms, which was super inconvenient. The lady at the front desk with the nose piercing. It was extremely rude and I mean absolutely out of line. So unprofessional she proceeded to tell me that she knows what the rooms look like she works there. (With a major attitude). The maintenance man came out repeatedly asking if people were smoking cigarettes when he needed to be asking why every balcony smells like Marijuana. The people in the room next to us were clearly throwing a party as there were a lot of people out on their balcony. They decided to have sexual relations right next to us as loud as they could. I believe on purpose this day was absolutely terrible. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I’ve stayed in a lot of places and typically never complain

Room was a little hot at night hard to get comfortable but overall great experience clean and great location!

The ONLY problem I had was not getting housekeeping. When i arrived and the front lady asked did i want it i said YES. Next day i had to call front desk three times and one of the times the lady got an attitude with my fiance. They finally dropped off towels but didnt make up bed or nothing. We stayed two nights. But OVERALL great and i would recommend. This my second time staying there.

Nice hotel. Cleaning needs improvement. The floors were not cleaned well. The toilet smelled like it was not cleaned. I always bring my own Lysol and disinfecting wipes. Great location if you’re seeing a show at Spectrum Center. It was directly across the street.

The staff was amazing, knowledgeable and sooo sweet <3. The room was great and the rooftop bar was spectacular. I loved my stay here and will definitely be back!!!

Happy staff

The staff was amazing and tried to accommodate as best as they could. No complaints on service but hotel is dated. And we had a terrace full of cigarette butts, no soap and the shower gel wouldn’t open. The bathroom was not comfortable at all, not what you would expect of a Marriott.

Everything that the staff is in charge of is perfect everything that needs to change is in control of either corporate or the police department. Dangerous people around at night and the internet is garbage.
