Excellent hotel ! The room was spacious and clean staff were friendly and the hotel is situated in an excellent location for the bars restaurants and shopping at South Park Mall.

We asked the room to be cleaned every day and it wasn’t. It took hours to get clean towels and they didn’t want to take the dirty towels. Too much of a hassle for a great location hotel.

Everything about this hotel was great! One of the best AC's I have stayed at. Make sure to visit the rooftop lounge. Parking was outrageously priced. Typical for the Marriott company.

Very helpful and kind staff at check in, and very helpful breakfast staff with help on gluten free options. Nice clean and quiet room with easy parking and conveniet location.

Nice physical layout but no internet for entire 48 hour stay

We stayed 2 night and didn’t get our beds made or trash taken. Other then that the hotel it self was nice and safe. Rooftop was very nice and quiet

This place lives up to the hype. I’ve rarely stayed someplace as clean, with friendly staff and excellent overall operations. The rooftop bar and lounge is a great bonus complete with fire pits and terrific comfortable spaces to unwind.

The room was spotless and clean. Room had good AC. Upstairs on 9th floor is a club with Food and drinks, nice, good staff, nice bar. We took our dogs. The hotel is pet friendly and on the second floor is where doggie families are you have your own exit thru double doors to your vehicle to go back and forth. Great place, great set up. It made our sleep very poor. The next day we had been out for four hours in the morning and came back to find our room hadn’t been serviced. No problem. We were leaving it again and there were many cleaning people on our floor and I asked if they could clean the room and was told we would most likely have to wait for the evening shift to come in. I went to the front desk and was told we would have to wait. I made a very crude comment to the women as she was also the one who delighted in not giving us the proper room We decided to cut our stay short by a day because of this. I will credit the asst gen mgr who comped our second night. We hadn’t asked for this so it saved us money but we didn’t want to save money. We wanted the room we reserved and we asked it to be cleaned!

We had to leave the hotel after switching rooms as they were uncomfortable and dirty. The first room smelled terrible and the second room was an accesible room that I have no idea how anyone in a wheelchair could reach the mini fridge directly on the floor or open the bathroom door. We had to clean our shower and wipe surfaces. We cut our stay to one night only and switched hotels.

The hotel is very nicely appointed and tastefully decorated. Our room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast buffet was beautiful and delicious. The only negative during the stay was a loose toilet seat, which provided some ‘surprises’ at night. When reported on checkout, the information was welcomed, and my impression was that it would be addressed.

Modern, clean and comfortable in a convenient location. Outlets and usb ports were plentiful and well distributed in the room. Easy parking. Great Korres toiletries. Highly recommend the Renaissance Patisserie, just a two minute walk from the hotel.

The only thing that was not top notch was we were in the room by the elevator so it was extremely loud all night.

We only stayed for one day. But we were definitely impressed with our stay and we will definitely be back. Definitely recommend this hotel.

My family and I stayed for the Wknd and it was a very positive experience. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was a lot of peace and quiet where we stayed and there were plenty of options for dining and exploring the area. We will definitely be coming back here to stay when we visit Charlotte again.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Staff was very kind and helpful with any requests we had. The breakfast buffet was limited but the options were very good Whole Foods and healthy options. Amazing for my partner and I. Close to the airport and shopping. Would stay again.

Rooftop very mediocre food choice

Everything was great the only thing is the shower floor was slippery and my toddler kept falling. Just didn’t feel safe for her had to put a towel down so she wouldn’t slip inside the shower. Other than that every one and the hotel were great.

Me and my family stayed for one night for a weekend getaway. I love the fact that it was in a nice area that was very quiet. The hotel itself was very clean which was something I was looking for! They had a rooftop bar and restaurant that was nice and the fire pit and seating in the front of the hotel was nice as well. I think this hotel would be even greater if they had a pool for the summer. Another thing I will say is if you have issues with back pain or hip pain specifically when you sleep at night, I would advise that the hotel invest in better mattresses but if you don’t have any issues, you should be OK. We loved it for the area. It was close to the shops. It was close to restaurants and it was very quiet and very clean.

The service was fabulous!! Huge thank you to Fabby and Abby in the breakfast restaurant, they are so friendly and prompt ! They made our stay so inviting and comfortable.. we definitely will be back!

I loved the rooftop bar and food it was awesome! The lit fire 🔥 on the rooftop was a great centerpiece for great conversations. The city view was amazing! I will be back to visit soon.

Our stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and the halls were quiet. The only thing that sucked was paying $8 for a bottle of water.

We have stayed at AC Hotels throughout the US and we love them - the AC Hotel Southpark in Charlotte NC was no exception. The location was great - close to shopping and restaurants. This location also has covered parking and a rooftop bar! Even though it was raining the entire time in Charlotte - it was still a fun place to hang out and enjoy dinner and a drink. The rooms are what set AC Hotels apart from the rest- they’re so well done - spacious, clean and the use of space is brilliant. We love the way AC hotel rooms are designed. The long benches are great to put luggage on and there’s room for more than one! Bathrooms are always large and modern. Plenty of space to relax and not feel like you’re in a “hotel” room. The staff (desk, bar, housekeeping, restaurant) were all friendly and helpful.

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights with our 6 month old and we had a great experience! The staff was very friendly and everything was very clean. Unfortunately the breakfast comes at an extra charge, but was definitely worth it! The only thing I'd say I didn't love overall would be the bed pillows in our room. They seemed just a tad too flat and it was one of those situations where two is too much, but one was not enough. Might just be me though. Great stay overall and highly recommend! Would absolutely stay here again!

This was a very comfortable stay. King size suite was a great touch when it comes having enough space for you and your significant other. A quiet stay couldn’t hear cars, people in the halls, nor the noise of people in the room next to you. Definitely will stay again.

The trip was amazing!! I met a friend in Charlotte to enjoy some shopping. This hotel was centrally located, clean, friendly and comfy!!

The decor and the scent was amazing. I know those are weird things but, that’s the first thing i noticed whenever I stay somewhere.

Nice property overall. We had an issue with the toilet that detracted from the stay but otherwise ok.

Best experience at the AC Charlotte. Drive in from NY to beat an ice storm. Got in at 5am was willing to pay for another dat. They were lovely to just allow me to check in warly.

From the ease of parking to check in, to the comfortable and clean room, the excellent roof top bar! We really enjoyed this hotel and will stay again!!

The bar soap was very dehydrating, it dried out my hands so much so that I went out to buy my own hand soap to use during my stay. Staff were lovely. Everyone was very welcoming and eager to help.

we were given a handicap accessible room even though we didn't request one. The shower was tiny and water went all over the bathroom floor. Rooftop bar was closed for a private event - the rooftop is why we chose this hotel. Not very clean, smelled funny. Disappointing because I had heard that AC hotels were very nice.

It was a great stay, conveniently located across from a mall. The desk staff were very nice & accommodating. The parking was ok, however there was no access to the upper deck, was not real clear where to park. We were ok though, there was plenty of parking available in the connected lot. We would definitely stay again.

By far the best hotel I’ve stayed in. As soon you enter the building this woodsy musk elegant greets you. The room was modern, clean and beautiful. And the staff was extremely friendly and polite.

The hotel provided a comfortable and safe environment, ideal for both business and leisure travelers. Its cleanliness stood out, with spotless rooms and well-maintained facilities. Conveniently located near sothpark mall! It offered a hassle-free experience with its very easy check-in and check-out process. Guests could quickly settle in and depart without any delays, adding to the overall convenience.

Front desk staff need to treat the customers with a pleasant and professional demeanor. I had some that were great and 2 that were poor.

I loved how quiet and quaint the area is. Super safe and has walkable shops right next door. Housekeeping was awesome! Shout out to Abril - she was the best. The breakfast is the only thing I didn’t like. $18 for a buffet but the options were very limited.
