    Paying for Parking and the payment process was not expected. I can see paying for valet service, but paying to self park in a small southern town seems a bit much. Plus the "threat" of being towed was a HUGE turn off. EVERY other hotel in the area offers free parking...EVEN the Carolina Inn and it is on campus!

    The bathrooms were entirely too small for someone with a walker and the commode was way too low for older people. The space on the sink needs to e increased by 100% as there was no place to put anything that was needed to get ready for the day!!

    The location was excellent, just off the interstate but also close to the University of North Carolina campus. Gym and pool facilities were quite good. Staff was friendly and polite. Check-in: there was a foul-up. The hotel (incorrectly) had us booked for two rooms, while the booking agency (booking.com) had us (correctly) checked into one room. After six-hour drive and quite tired, I was directed to contact the booking agent myself to sort this out. Would have been nice if the front desk had taken care of this problem for me. Restaurant and bar service: not enough staff on duty. This felt by design, and it gave the bar/restaurant space and empty and uninviting aspect. I noticed that for breakfast, most of the guests walked next door to McDonalds. Rooms: mattress was overly soft. The body wash bottle in the shower was empty and never checked by maid service or refilled. There were ants in the sink every night, attracted by water drops. The air conditioner was surprisingly loud. Parking: it seems fairly odd that what is essentially a motel near a highway, not a swank hotel in a cramped urban downtown, would charge a daily fee for parking. Most of your guests most likely arrive by car. The stay was perfectly pleasant, but the hotel did not fully justify its price-point.

    The hotel is no where close to retail or restaurants, so I don’t know why parking was not free…it was a hassle to do the QRcode paid pkg for a petty $5. No complimentary breakfast.

    Our bed had pizza sauce on it when we arrived. We called the front desk, but it took hours for them to reach housekeeping, who never came. Eventually we were given a new room, but housekeeping did not come the following day either. Overall, there seemed to be little to no service anywhere in the hotel, and the property felt poorly maintained and unclean.

    The property was nice with very friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay. The one downside was the dinner we had at the hotel restaurant; my daughter and I both ordered the filet mignon and it came out with half a carrot cut into 2 small pieces, maybe one mushroom thinly sliced into 5 pieces and that was it with the filet. It was mediocre at best. My wife ordered a salad bowl and it came out extremely salty. She couldn't eat it. The food was not good (especially given the price); which is weird because we ordered the fish & chips for lunch earlier and it was great. So we are not sure what happended there. Otherwise, the hotel was perfect. We would return and recommend to anyone wanting to visit Chapel Hill.

    The sheraton Chapel Hill Hotel is a nice, clean hotel. However, the rooms are very small and the food choices are limited. It is located not too far from UNC Chapel Hill, which opens up food options, but I did not find the the hotel food that good. The staff is nice and helpful.

    Bedbugs!! I just got back from a trip to Chapel Hill. I stayed 2 nights at the Sheraton in Room 308 and was bitten all over my back and arms by bedbugs. I noticed a small bug on my bed the first night and didn’t think much of it because, well…. It’s North Carolina in summer, so I just flicked it off. After the second night however, I’ve now got a row of bites on my right back, several on my left back, and numerous on my arms. I called the front desk to let them know. The receptionist was very kind and attentive and even asked me if I wanted anything so they could make up for it. I told her no, and that I just wanted to make them aware so they could remedy the problem. She told me she would have her manager reach out to me. He/she did not reach out, which is disappointing to say the least. The rooms are nice, the hotel is in a good location, but nobody really cares about those things if they’re going to be gnawed on all night by bedbugs. My trip literally consisted of airport, hotel, university, restaurant, hotel. I spent no time outside except to traverse to and from my rental car. I’ve since sanitized everything in my luggage to make sure the problem didn’t make its way into my own home. Management should have at least followed up with a call. Will not stay again.

The main area starbucks concession is only open until 2pm and the staff isnt transparent that as a club level guest yiu are entiiled to free drinks. The best part of the hotel was the gym. That was done really well and well maintained. In all fairness the hotel did issue me a credit for the poor service and inadequate conditions. But definitely not worth the money for the conditions. I spent some time in the lobby. Lostening to other guests many had the same complaints. Sheraton you could do so much better.

    The property itself is fine, however, they have an additional parking fee that is annoying and difficult to deal with when you arrive at the property. It would be so much better if they either included the parking fee in their total cost or if they just let it go because the space itself does not actually require you to have special parking.

    New clean 3 elevators so don't need to wait at all. No daily chambermaid. Plenty of parking and not near any school or other venue so charging $7 a day is absurd money grab. The hotel experience itself was wonderful . Clean new rooms comfortable. VERY soundproofed and quiet though on a main artery.

    New clean 3 elevators so don't need to wait at all. No daily chambermaid. Plenty of parking and not near any school or other venue so charging $7 a day is absurd money grab. The hotel experience itself was wonderful . Clean new rooms comfortable. VERY soundproofed and quiet though on a main artery.

    There was no information regarding a parking charge per night. The Sheraton has never charged to park. Also, guest must use a QR code instead of being able to charge parking to the room. This excessive use of QR.codes infringes on access to unknown entities to my ID. The unknown company uses the license tag to connect to my NC DMV information for payment. Other options to pay for parking.

    The hotel was just OK considering the cost. The room is small with inadequate seating. The balcony had one table and one chair not very reasonable for two guests. The room had an odor that we were able to resolve since we brought our air purifier with us. Restaurant is just a bar and never saw the breakfast buffet

    Gps is hard finding this place. Food and drinks are too high. To be a high end chain its below expectations. Also ordered the morning breakfast that was 63 bucks, came 1 hour late, was colder than the mini fridge. Manager did credit me for the inconvenience. Would stay again but it needs work.

    Overall, my experience at the Sheraton Hotel in Chapel Hill was mixed. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. the loudness of the air conditioner. I didn’t get a good nights sleep due to the noise from the air conditioner. Unfortunately, given the hot weather outside, I couldn't simply turn it off without being uncomfortable. I hope the hotel management can address the noise level of the units to ensure a more restful stay for guests in the future.
