Great staff. Excellent restaurant. Very clean. Not a hotel for some wanting a pool, as they close it I think expect because of extended stay families staying there.

The location and remoteness along with the grounds and people. Heating and cooling is very controllable. Slight hallway noise due to door not sealed well, and from other rooms but not bad and I am very picky. Door seal not sealed well. That's really all I can complain on.

The staff were nice and our stay was fine overall. Two things require improvements: 1) the hallways frequently smelled very bad. 2) It’s impossible to relax in outdoor areas if other guests are allowed to play videos or music (loudly) on speaker. I would suggest putting up clear signs that having one’s phone on speaker in common areas is not allowed and actually enforcing it.

Good size rooms which is great for family travel. The breakfast was good and the staff were great. The pool table in the lobby was awesome; we used it often. The rooms are dated and need updating/repairs. There is no hot tub, despite Expedia saying there was one. Overall, good value for the miney.

Lovely building and grounds. Staff was very pleasant. Always helpful to have a nicely stocked kitchen, and the tv that pivoted from the sleeping area to the sitting area was a nice touch. What makes this hotel so special is the staff. From the moment you enter the door Jerry greets you and treats you as though you have entered a five star resort. I did encounter some problems with noise and he took care of the it immediately and professionally. I also ordered room service and it was delivered quickly and the food was very good. The staff here is amazing. But again, I must say Jerry is one of the best I’ve ever meet in this business!

The location was good. Accessible but not heavy traffic. The breakfast was fabulous! It was rainy so it was nice that we did not have to go outside to get to breakfast. The age of the building was showing. Chipped paint on the woodwork just as we entered. Floor molding peeling away near the bathroom. Toilet flushing had to be watched because the handle hung up and water would continuously run.

We came into town for my son to visit UNC Chapel Hill as he will be attending in the fall and to go to the NC State vs Chapel Hill game. We had a great stay with y'all. The room was large enough to accommodate us and the beds were super comfortable. It was nice to have a kitchen so we could have snacks and keep our left overs.

The room was immaculately clean and well stocked. The front desk employees were all very nice and helpful. Beds were SUPER comfortable. The only real issue we had was the dining staff. They didn't really seem to understand that we were there to eat and they never took our order. But we did go to the room and called it in. The food was good, and decently priced. The person who took the money was the same person who was confused about us eating there and they seemed to be confused about the payment for the food too. I'm not sure if they were new or what, but it was a little frustrating. Other than that, our stay was perfect. We will definitely be returning.

It's such a calm, lovely space (though I have not yet experienced it on a football/crowded weekend). The breakfast is delicious! Every front desk person was helpful and courteous.

Nice setting, clear clean pool, colonial decor, quiet and wooded but not too secluded. Looking forward to when standard room tidy up service can return to pre-pandemic routines. Clean towels were provided, but need to ask. Facility, breakfast, pleasant staff, all fantastic.

Loved the suites, beds were super comfy. Pool was nice and breakfast was good. Only negative is they don’t clean daily. They tell you to put your trash in the hall and call for clean towels. Wish they at least cleaned every other day.

Me and my fiancé loved this place. We had a great time together here since we haven’t seen each other for half a year due to me being in the military. Great place for a long stay. Super welcoming staffs, great breakfast, great pool, and room felt like home. Outside surrounding is great for family and friends to hangout. Peaceful and memorable atmosohere.

Had a wonderful stay at the Residence Suites in Chapel Hill. We were there for our son’s graduation from UNC. Room was large and very well equipped. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again

Room was directly adjacent to a main entry staircase. Quite noisy throughout the night. Walk in shower was nice, but water pressure was quite poor. The bathroom was extremely small with the entry door swinging inwards which made it very awkward to move inside. Bathroom baseboards were deteriorating.

Great location close to Franklin street, UNC Chapel Hill AND Wegmans. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I liked that the breakfast used real dishes, glasses and cups as opposed to paper and plastic which is such a waste. The pool is very nice although the hot tub is closed for renovations.

The property was beautiful, the studio was large and I loved the full kitchen. The daily breakfast was great, and the pool was refreshing and beautiful. Employees were very nice and approachable.

We stayed in a suite and it was perfect. We had a full kitchen and my husband had a desk to do his work. We appreciated that the tv swiveled so you could watch it from the couch or the bed. The pricepoint was great as well.

I was greeted by friendly, well dressed staff. They were interested in me and why I was in the area. They also offered to help with anything I needed. Room was exceptionally clean, bright, and everything was functional (lights, etc.)

The Residence Inn-Chapel Hill has become a favorite of ours. Check-in is simple. Suites are clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Our daughter and son-in-law have brought our newest grandchild into the world. We stay here for visits and always love it. I recommend this hotel for everyone who wants extra space and comfortable accomodations.

Service was very good though, and the free breakfast delighted my 8 year old, especially the Fruit Loops! Overall, a good value, but they need to upgrade the mattresses.

The rooms need some type of cleaning equipment for the room ie ; broom and dust pan or small hand vacuum, particulary for the kitchen and bathroom.. The hotel's cleaning protocol was changed due to covid-19.

We noticed and lack of cleanliness in our room. There was rust marks all over the bathtub around the drain and chips in the bathtub. During our entire stay we had no TV access and no Internet. This was brought to the attention of the staff but nothing could be done until the day we left. We had stayed at this facility before and had been pleased but I doubt if we will return

I had a king suite which was quite spacious and the free breakfast was tasty. Overall good stay for decent price.
