The hotel is very close to everything you need. Walking distance to a lot of things. Very friendly staff.

Of note, there was no sealant or caulking between the shower glass door and base of floor- so we needed to use a towel to prevent the shower from leaking all over the floor. We alerted management to this-

It was the perfect place to stay for attending concerts at the Cats Cradle. So convenient!

Location and pool They put me in the wrong rooms. One person had to sleep on the floor. I paid for a sweet that slept 4 adults ,and they put us in a double. The adults were NOT couples! Also needed handicap bathroom for my dad, and did not get that either!

Location was good and room was clean At 9am, I awoke to a saw and loud banging on my wall. I had been working late and was really counting on those last couple hours of sleep, in order to drive home safely. I did not get good rest, as a result. When I called the desk, they said it was an "emergency repair" being done within the hours of operations. No remedy or alternative was offered.

Good location for us. Not only close to the university, but also shops in Carrboro. The breakfast was included and it was good for a hotel breakfast-/ varied hot and cold items, clean ( good health inspection rating), good coffee. Staff was very nice. Bed was so comfortable. We actually had 2 stays in the same week. Our first one wasn’t extremely clean, and didn’t have a mini fridge. For our next stay, they gave us an upgrade to a suite!

The breakfast was not interesting. Some of the desk staff were very pleasant but one person was very rude. I had two requested adjoining rooms. Even though I reserved months in advance they would not give me adjoining rooms. Also our room was extremely distant from the elevator (like two blocks) there were no stairs with access to the lobby on our end of the building.

Walking distance to Chapel Hill restaurants and stores. Charging $20/day for parking is ridiculous. The parking garage was practically empty. Its not a city. You could find free parking around town.

Absolutely no service. Ask and called reception several times for cleaning the room and for a different pillow. They said ok and wrote it down but then never heard of them. Also no refrigerator in the room and carpets are disgusting.

The staff was so attentive, and I really enjoyed the delicious breakfast and coffee. The room was spacious with wonderful amenities. My only small wish is that the bed could be a bit softer and the pillows a little firmer. Overall, a lovely stay!

There was lots of room for family group to meet and mingle. There were no fridges in the regular rooms. These are standard where we come from so expected there would be 1. As we were there for several days, we had brought some groceries but nowhere to keep it cold.

Usually a little underwhelmed by the breakfast but it is included ! Also the hot water was not so hot. It was really cold outside so maybe that added to the issue.

Location is ideal for a game. Hotel was clean and decorated nicely for the holidays. No complaints at this time.

The shower was clean but the drain wouldn't stay open, water pressure was too light, and the fixed shower head was not convenient. I couldn't wash my hair :)

Fair breakfast . I’ve had much better at other Hampton Inns Elevators did not work a lot of time. Breakfast was fair not that great. Had to ask for clean toweks and toilet paper Room smelled like a dog had been in there.

Only things I didn’t love was their was no mini fridge in the room and some weird things (like the door didn’t auto close and the bathroom walls was peeling and i found a packages snack on the floor).

The pull-out couch isn't very comfortable, but that's not surprising. It costs $20 to park the car in the ramp, but you can only park on floor 4 or 5, which was weird.

The only downside was the people in the room next to us were loud making it difficult to sleep. Otherwise I would highly recommend!

NO signage on the front of the building, NONE! We weren't sure whether we were in the right place. The desk clerk said he hears that complaint often...so why not do something about it? SMH. We booked a city view room. At check in they said there were no city view rooms available. The city view room wss more expensive than s regular king room. They did give us king suit. It's the same value as a city view room.

Stayed here after family elopement ceremony on campus. The room we had was great, but there was no mini fridge to store leftovers from dinner, no microwave, and no fans in the bathroom.

Our stay was very good and would have been excellent except our door (rm 418) was extremely difficult to open and close. (My wife was unable to do either.) The door was far too tight in its frame. We reported this twice to the front desk and were assured it would be taken care of. But nothing had been done by the 3rd day when we left. ( The room was otherwise fine.)

Hotel was ok, nice staff, decent breakfast. Paid parking in a structure but have to park of higher floors. We had a disabled room (not by choice) and the shower was huge wet, slippery mess.

The breakfast was wonderful. I didn't catch the evening shift managers name but she was super nice. I went to get drinks and didn't realize I had to have a card, I took cash and she told me not to worry about it it was on the house. She didn't have to do that but it was greatly appreciated. I would stay there again.

The pool was green from algae. Chose this place for the pool but my kids couldn’t even swim. You had to pay for parking which is disclosed in the description but is an inconvenience as well. We aren’t staying in a big city. It’s just Carrboro!

Only hiccup was the fire alarm started blaring about 20 minutes after we got into the room. We had to evacuate the building until the fire department called it clear.

We checked in late. I only had to pay half price for parking. We checked into the room there was no USB ports to charge our computers. We r in a college town. We then checked out the next morning. We went to the parking garage and my son said there was a homeless person sitting right next to the car. He was very frightened and went back to the front desk within a half hour or so the police came to take the homeless people. I don't know why you people do not have cameras in the garage and outside to stop this. The front desk said that this happens all the time. If someone got hurt because the hotels lack of safety there would b a law suit. The best part is he didn't even give us a discount ticket the parking fee away from us. I'll never stay at your hotel again. Chapel Hill needs to be aware of this.

After an hour of scrubbing residue off my car I still had to pay for a car wash.

Really average accommodations. Room was extremely damp and smelled musty upon arrival. We could feel it on the floor, bedding, etc. Maintenance guy was super friendly and brought us an industrial fan. It did help some but overall it just wasn’t a great stay.

We loved the location and the basic condition of the building was decent. Room was large and pool view. Had some issues with a couple bathroom functions but overall, the staff was great and professional. Parking and restaurants were plentiful.

The Hotel is impeccable, and the service is great, but I was not happy with the way the hotel handles its eco-friendliness. Everything is in plastic, everything is one-time use. For breakfast, all that is available is one-time-use cutlery and plates. The cutlery is plastic and covered in plastic. The cups are cardboard but covered in plastic. The plates are paper plates, also covered in plastic. For a Hilton hotel, I'd expected it to be more aware of the environment. It was not the case.

For breakfast, all that is available is one-time-use cutlery and plates. The cutlery is plastic and covered in plastic. The cups are cardboard but covered in plastic. The plates are paper plates, also covered in plastic. For a Hilton hotel, I'd expected it to be more aware of the environment. It was not the case.

This was a good spot to stay for a night in town to see a show at the Cradle. Nothing fancy, the breakfast in the morning was passable.

The staff were absolutely amazing. The evening front desk person greeted me every time she saw me by name and made sure I had everything I needed. The morning front desk person was very kind to both of my boys. I would most definitely stay with you all again.

Hotel was great. Perfect location. Parking was on-site and easy to access.

The hotel employees were lovely & helpful. A minor repair in our room was addressed very quickly. We were also offered an upgrade when we reported the issue but chose to stay in our location we stay here often when visiting family& because it’s such a great location.

I liked that it was close to the hospital and had plenty of places nearby to eat. You do have to pay for parking.

I checked in on Thursday January 16th. Discovered an old bar of soap in the shower, a sink in the bath room that would not drain, and blood on the bottom bed sheet which was not mine. I alerted the front desk to this and on Friday they came and changed the bed and fixed the sink. There was no coffee service that Friday. The sign on their mirror says they service the room every other day. I checked out on Monday January 20th and The room was never serviced between Friday and Monday. If I wanted coffee I had to go down to the front desk and ask for it. The bed was never made except for that one Friday. I guess the lack of service is the new norm since COVID. I'm a big fan of Hampton inn and I'm a member of Hilton honors but I have never run into a situation with a room like this particular facility.

Hotel was nice. However there should be a disclaimer that parking is a fee. Runs roughly 21$ a day. Breakfast was meh.

We came into town for a Carolina game and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The desk staff was particularly helpful. The hotel is within walking distance to Franklin Street and the university. We took the Franklin Street shuttle to the game, and the hotel was in a very convenient location for that. The room was comfy, and the shower was amazing. We will definitely stay here again.

Also, I was not given an AARP discount. The price of the room was excessive, thr hotel used college graduation as an opportunity to almost double the usual rate.

Having to pay to park overnight was unexpected and rather expensive.

Nothing was as it should be or as described. Trashy people everywhere all hours of the night. People fighting and prostitution all around…..

The staff was friendly and warm, the room was spacious and clean, and the amenities were all great. Convenient to Carrboro, Durham or Chapel Hill. Great location and would definitely look to stay again next time we’re in the area.

Dislikes: toilet paper, tissue and body wash were all out in our room. Bathroom sink faucet didn’t work- only trickled water. Booked 2 rooms under same reservation and because I didn’t request the rooms be close, they gave us rooms on different floors. When I requested the rooms be connected or at least on same floor at check in, I was told it “couldn’t be done” and no effort was put in to get us closer. Not a big deal but annoying considering price.
