Room was clean, bed was comfortable, location is convenient to the Udvar-Hazy Center. It was pretty easy to see why this was the least expensive hotel in the area, though. The kitchenette area had broken drawers and no drain plug for the sink, and "breakfast" in the lobby was coffee, instant oatmeal packets, and a few packaged pastries. Fortunately there's a killer bakery/cafe within walking distance! Not a bad stay, but definitely no-frills.

I was able to get us in when we called We had requested a handicapp room and I have a service dog. 1 you're not supposed to ask me about my service dog and I was basically scrutinized at the desk when I came in. 2, the room we got was not handicapped. It was on the 1st floor but that doesn't make it handicapped. I went to ask for a blanket an extra one. I was told I couldn't get it till 930 at night. When I went to go get the blanket, it wasn't folded. It was just they're basically jumbled up and given to me. He was on the phone the whole time with somebody else. And I mean his personal cell phone a customer came in another family. He never once stopped the conversation with the person around the phone I think I should be compensated for some of the bad things that I've seen and heard, especially after being scrutinized over my dog and no handicapped room. I had to help my friend step over a tub so they could take a shower was not happy at all.

Probably my worst hotel experience of all time, and that's saying something. They couldn't locate my reservation, they sent me away once, I came back and made them look further and they finally found it ("hey, here it is !!"). But by then they had no rooms, except a huge room that cost double what I reserved, so I paid double, it was either that or sleep in my car. Awful experience, especially after driving all day.
- 3.5/5
Quiet surroundings I was supposed to pay the cost of reservation in the facility but I was charged hours before my arrival.

Not a damn thing Everything. Made reservation, confirmed, got there and the desk clerk CONFIRMED I DIDNT HAVE A ROOM. They were all filled up and COULD NOT FIND ANY EVIDENCE OF MY RESERVATION, even after I showed my confirmation. It was HORRIFIC & DAUNTING. I couldn't believe it. Through much frustration and turmoil I secured another room at a lower rate ELSEWHERE, whom I will always use from now on when in town. NEVER Studio 6 Chantilly VA Washington Dulles Airport ever again for any reason and will NEVER recommend to anyone, anytime or anywhere.....EVER.

The rate was ok. Cheaper than the surrounding hotels and located exactly near the place I needed to be for this part of our stay in the DC area. - Staff wouldn't give details on answers to questions and would say "Sorry" about the smoke smell, but didn't offer any assistance or reimbursement. - We had reserved two nights, but we left after the first night. Even with the windows open, we couldn't breathe well. The sheets and pillowcases smelled like smoke, and it was on our clothing and in our hair when we left. We left as early as we woke up because we couldn't handle it. Strong chemical smells in hallways and stairwells, presumably to mask smoke smells. No re-imbursement for second night because we got the reservation through Booking.com

It is run down in just a year. I stayed when it was under an alternate management and I returned for the value and experience but what a disappointment. Go next door to residence inn for better comfort and service.

The cleanses of the room was not up to standard; the shower had mold around the wall, room chair was dirty, found a molded muffin wrapper by the ac. The room also smelled of stale smoke.

------- I loved how patient and kind Julio was at the front desk. There was a full sized Fridge/Freezer, microwave, electric stove and cabinet space. We had an accessible room so the bathroom was a nice size and it had a shower hose. (There is no bench to sit but you can request a shower chair). You can request pots and pans (or bring your own). Cooking ________ I was only able to cook with 2 small pots (the size you may cook peas in) because that's all they had. They looked brand new. That did surprise me. I just split my dinner in two and it worked out. Price ______ The room was worth the price (about $88 a night USD per night Queen Studio). This is coming from someone who has stayed in Casino rooms for only $8 a night (comped stay-taxes only). If you just want a simple place to lay your head, this is the place. If you want a luxurious 5 star hotel, this may not be for you. Laundry ________ There is also laundry on the premises! I didn't get to try the breakfast or see it so I can't comment but they do make you aware it's available from 6 a.m -9 p.m. Entrances _________ The thing I LOVED the most is I could come in the back and go to my room. I didn't have to see anybody if I didn't want to talk. I also loved I could see the vehicle right in front of my window. Stores & Restaurants _______ There is also a Lidl Supermarket that is within walking distance. So you can buy food to cook if you want. This hotel sits directly behind another hotel so just keep going, and you won't miss it. There are plenty of stores and restaurants in the area. If you are driving, they are within a very close distance. My husband and I made a trip to Walmart and dollar tree. They were not that far from the hotel. TV in room _________ I also enjoyed the fact that the TV had a guide with channel names the name of the shows. There was no need to keep changing the channel to find something to watch. Well, the first day I sat in the rolling office chair it flew backwards and fell really hard on the floor. I had to wait for my husband to come back to get me off the floor. So please be careful! I didn't tell them what happened but my suggestion is to put the back of the chair against the wall then sit. Everything seemed okay but there seemed to be some black mold in the drawer of the night stand.

Comparitively inexpensive compared to surrounding area. $25 Uber from Dulles, easy walking to Target/Lidl/Chipotle and a few more. Staff was friendly on check-in. Bob and Phylis, the two roaches who live in the bathroom, seemed pleasant enough, but I thought I was booking a single room. Building dated but serviceable, perhaps in transition from Extended Stay to Studio 6. As I believe other reviewers pointed out, there is a funky smell as well.

My reason for staying was impending snow storm. If I had know they obviously have no snow removal contract for there parking lot I would stayed next door where lots were plowed. Took 30 minutes to get put of parking lot of which I shoveled myself.

The whole hotel smells like throw up and weed.
- 1/5
Location good for our purpose. Breakfast was poor, oatmeal packet, coffee, and packaged muffin . No juice or fruit or cereal. Elevator was out of order for entire week and we were given a room on 3rd floor. Had to drag suitcases up those 3 flights of stairs. Also down and up steps for breakfast because no table in lobby. Only 1 chair in room to eat at the table.

I took medication to take away the migraine headache and nausea that was caused and started to feel better. Then I awoke at 2:00 AM by not feeling well again, this time it was caused by cigarette smoke and smell that somehow came into my room and much like marijuana smoke, I get migraine headaches, nausea and can’t breathe well from the smoke, I don’t know if it is from the staff smoking or people staying there and it is going through duct work in the building or people in the rooms next to me smoking, or it is coming through the hallways and coming into the room causing these symptoms, but there is definitely a problem with smoking and it traveling through the building. One of the worst nights I have spent at a hotel because of feeling sick from other people’s actions.

not much The fire alarm in just our room went off regularly during our 12 hour stay there -- throughout the night. The strobe lights flashing and the siren blasting. My autistic child was with me. No other rooms available. I begged the night clerk to give me a cot or blankets so my daughter could sleep on the bathroom floor-somewhat away from the noise. She tried leaving the bldg out of fear of the alarm. Did absolutely no problem solving, and was not apologetic. The morning clerk was very apologetic. But couldn't remove the fee -- I had to wait and talk with a manager on Monday. Still waiting for a refund.

The elevator was not working we carry all our laggage from down stairs to upstairs & I have back injury now my back is very sore & I have Paine in my back & the next day when we check out we bring our laggage from up stairs to down stairs it was very hard

Convenient location. Close to airport and shopping. Staff is polite and apologetic. Elevator did not work. Shower knob nearly detached and only the staff be able to turn it on. Room needs deep cleaning to rid of pest.

- 1/5
I have never stayed at such a filthy hotel in my life. I wasnt expecting much, but the lack of cleanliness was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. We had to change our room the first night because the shower knob fell off, the entire thing was covered in black mold. The rooms smelled, there was dirt or possibly roach droppings in the corners of the room and bathroom. The 3 days we were there, we never once had housekeeping. They were non-existing. The towels were stained, everyone was putting their dirty towels and tied up trash bags in the hallway. I will never stay at this hotel brand again. The only thing good was the staff at the front desk was nice. Also- beds are tiny and hard as a rock.

Location and staff. Furniture was old and a bit worse for wear and the walls were VERY thin. People to the side of us and especially above us sounded like elephants, and that was really distracting and unfortunate. It was very loud and sleep was hard to come by several nights.

Mr. Wael, at the front desk, was so helpful. We missed our flight to Portugal, and had to stay overnight with our two kitties. He helped so much to make sure we had everything we needed!
- 5/5
We were worried initially looking at those reviews online, as we were travelling with families for a religious event. This location proved it wrong, really had a great stay. I recommended this place to my other friends too and they will be booking bunch of rooms in July for another room. Thanks Extended Stay!!
- 2/5
Location was decent, 10 min from Dulles airport. Complimentary coffee with snacks was ok. Plenty of free parking. The property from the outside appeared well kept unfortunately the inside was the opposite. The hallways needed some renovation, the rooms were not very appealing and smelled a bit strange, not so pleasant. The bathrooms were not cleaned very well. Furniture looked old. I felt it was overpriced and lack in value. The staff were not the friendliest but just helpful.
- 5/5
I was impressed! Staff are always very kind, patient, polite. And always available at the front desk; greeting me with a smile! The area is quiet and seems like a safe place, nice people

The 2nd room I was given had food stains on the walls and all over the side of the fridge. The Bathroom was leaking and had a ring of mold all along the bathtub floors. I requested a refund and checked out immediately. I won't ever stay here again
- 2/5
No Water in Shower: The shower / tub had no water! I don't understand this! How can you get the room ready for the next visitor AND NOT HAVE A WORKING SHOWER!?!?!
- 2/5
This property is very old and dingy. The room I was allocated would not lock for security. I would have been better off staying in at a motel.
- 1/5
Worst stay I have ever had. We had to keep the lights on at night to keep the roaches at bay. 4 nights with hardly any sleep. When I asked for a room with no roaches they basically told me they didn’t have one. Also, the microwave didn’t work. Horrible experience I will never stay at an extended stay ever again!
- 1/5
Moret than 10 cockroaches every where running around in the room
- 4/5
Decent place but as soon as I walked into the room, roaches were seen scurrying. The sink had food particles still in it. Bed was comfortable, staff was very friendly and nice. I would consider staying again just didn’t like seeing the bugs.

I was checked in by someone in training who was not very fast which is fine. There was trash left in kitchen trashcan from previous guest. Doors have built up dirt on them, obviously never cleaned. Water constantly running from both faucets and the toilet. Walls paper thin. Guests sitting and drinking booze by checking area. Disgusting overall.
- 4/5
Upon arrival i could easily check-in. My room was clean, but the bed wasn’t made, and the trash was full. I left the property soon, and when i came back, the bed was made, and trash was ok. Somebody entered my room, without letting me know. It’s a bit weird, never experienced like this. Upon check-out the FD guy wore a hoody. Overall low rate, good shopping and dinning area, close to IAD, good for a shirt stay.
- 4/5
Everything was nice and clean.Stovetop is a little dated but ok.Need to change out mattress no spring left .Good thing they had a comfortable recliner type chair in there that worked for me.

Did not have second room of our reservation available. Took quite while to figure out. Desk clerk was working all alone so was pretty confused. Needed to call and be walked through. She did her best but it was 11:30pm and we were tited. Room felt overall grimy and smelled moldy. Bathroom floors definitely gross.

Dust everywhere.

I ended up not staying at this property. The first room had peeling along the whole edge of the counter. I was moved to a room that had a horrible smell of some sort of urine. I was unable to bear that smell and I resfused to be moved to another room. I ended up staying at the embassy suites in Tyson's corner. I wouldn't recommend anyone stay here. It's dirty and the customer service was horrible.
- 3/5
Outside around the property was dirty. Cigarette buts were everywhere and the landscaping needed to be attended to. The hotel was just ok overall.
- 2/5
Very old and rundown. Breakfast was instant oatmeal and stale muffins. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
- 5/5
Amazing Place to stay, only complaint was there were some cracks in the ceiling and walls.
- 3/5
Towel rack and bathroom door handle were broken. Someone had propped open the back door - not safe.
- 3/5
The sign at the check-in which informed me that all my info would be turned over to police, shoyld have been my forst clue that this wouldn't be my most comfortable stay. Thete was a huge scratch across my door-it looked like it was from a large knife of some sort. All yhe facia on tje kitchen counter had been peeled off. The utensils and microvave were dirty. All the light switches felt sticky. Lamp shades wete dusty. Overall the room just felt dark, dingy, and like a former crime scene from a B-movie. There were black hairs in the shower (I am blonde, so i know they weren't mine.) The faucet dripped and the towels were very worn. The only positive comment I can make is that there was plenty of hot water in the shower.
- 5/5
This was a perfect hotel for us. We didn’t need anything over-the-top as we just needed a place to rest after a concert. Hotel is located in a very nice area with plenty of food options and shopping centers close by within minutes.
- 3/5
Loud airplane noises(expected) rooms not clean, mold on walls, stains in tub, room had 3 lights out, found hair in sheets , guests loud all through the night. “Breakfast” was a stale muffin with watery coffee and a granola bar. Room smelled heavily, outdated appliances with stains all over.
- 4/5
This hotel rating should really be at least a 7. They have a friendly staff and the hotel was clean.
- 4/5
It was good

Our hotel room did not have any cookware-dishes, empty kitchen. Also we killed 3 bugs/beetles from the curtains (everything was clean and neat) and we heard noise all night long! The manager was very understanding and offered a different room but we asked for a refund for the second night and we rushed out of there!
- 2/5
Not even a glass so that I can rinse my teeth! When the guy told me that I could call to get plates and silverware, I at least expected a glass to rinse out of; nope...! And even worse, I had a 7am flight, which meant getting up at 4:30. And not even a coffee maker! C'mon, those are just basics...!

The lady at the front desk was rude untill I started speaking spanish then she kind of change her attitude. I had a hard time booking the room to begin with and then she ddnt help with her attitude. My husband stays at this hotel becuase of his company . So I went to visit since hes out of town. The room they gave me stink when I walked in. And ive never been to a hotel where they clean your room once a week. I had to clean my husbands room and take out the trash and go put it in the trash room. He says he has to go get his own towels and toilet paper during the week. He works sometimes 7 days a week and is tired. Yall need to hiring more cleaning prople.

I scheduled the wrong date and they would not let me change the date. I, therefore, paid for TWO nights and only needed one. The website said I could cancel as long as it was before 6pm the day of the reservation. I will most likely not stay at this hotel, nor book with Expedia ever again. You have lost my business.
- 3/5
Difficult getting service from the desk as it took me 25min just to get checked out. In addition there seems to be cockroaches and bed bugs here as I killed 2 roaches, 1 in my bathroom and 1 in the stairwell

First room heat was stuck on high, windows wide open, (so they obviously knew), knob broken off.. Took me to another room Second room, dated, dingy, very loud road noise from 50 all night.. Damn sure not worth $90 a night..

Northern Virginia is always a lovely place to visit in the winter months when the windchill is biting.

Breakfast is free, but Don’t expect too much. Seven eleven is available

It was close to what I needed. Cost effective for my needs.

The first room had smell of smoke, but our room was exchanged right away. We had a comfortable stay.

The rooms smell like old and the guy at the frontdesk looked like

Shabby room. Maintenance poor. No lights. Desk staff was helpless.

Like others, here's what I experienced: Sticky floors Cigarette burns, comforter and chair (in a nonsmoking room) Full trash can in kitchen Previously soiled sheets, complete with hair Furniture with stuck drawers (unusable) Broken shelves in the closet Getting to walk through smokers within 10 feet of the door upon every enter and exit (supposed to be 25 feet away, not enforced) I could go on, but I believe I've made my point. I notified the front desk of the issues within the first day of a multi-day visit, at least they changed the sheets. Nothing else fixed. I've noticed the management responses to others poor rating reviews, they promise to improve things - I fell for it. Thought they would make things cleaner after getting so many negative reviews. Wrong. One of the big problems with the extended stay concept is that cleaning only happens (or at least is supposed to) when there is room turnover. A lot of dirt and damage can be generated during a 3 week or more stay. Hard to keep up, I get it. But this was unreal. Never again.

The kitchen was nice but the carpets were filthy and the room smelled musty

No room service except for once a week or an extra 10.00 per day. The towels were stained, as were the sheets. (I slept on the bed spread) there is a kitchenette but no cook ware, dishes or silverware. I would have went to the Resident Inn across the parking lot had I known it was there but I paid for the room in advance and would have lost 127.00. The continental breakfast was coffee and a banana nut muffin or granola bar. Not good for anyone with a nut allergy.

The room always smelled bad and was humid for some reason The bathroom sink leaked. The fitted sheets which had stains didn't fit the bed. My second day there my keycard stopped working. And who in this day and age charges for wifi?

This hotel keeps minimal staff on site, services the rooms less than once per week, and offers only token amenities. The public areas of the hotel are squalid. The claimed amenities are laughable; the "breakfast" included with the room rate is a bin of granola bars labelled "Please only take one." Coffee makers and other features that are standard for most hotels can be requested, but only if one can find a member of the staff... and then are subject to availability and can take time to deliver. My room had a serious problem with flies (hundreds of them) coming up through the sink drain, but repeated requests did not yield any results. I sought to cancel this booking within a few hours of check in, as there are other hotels in the area which cost a few dollars more per night and are much nicer. I was dismayed that I could not do so. In short- it is too late for me, but you should avoid it if you can.

It was reasonably comfortable and had a kitchenette so you could buy and prepare your own food which was nice. There really weren't any amenities except the television and wi-fi, and the wi-fi doesn't support streaming, downloading or uploading video unless you pay extra.

It was...fine. The service was fine. The linens appeared clean but the floors were sticky, and there was a musty smell that was hard to overcome. The location is not terribly convenient to the airport (though they did not claim to be...) The facilities were fine- a bit run down but acceptable for the price point.

Scary and horrid.

It was extremely disappointing. Staff was cordial. Coffee was great. Breakfast was vending machine quality celophane wrapped muffins and snack bars. Carpet in common areas and guest rooms was filthy. My feet and shoes stuck to the floors in the kitchen and bath, but housekeeping was an additional fee. Threadbare bedding. Stained upholstery. "Closet" featured a curtain rather than a door.

Room was filthy, stains on headboard. Heat wouldn’t work, cable tv that was blurry in the 30 something channels with the top channel being TBS. breakfast was a granola bar and bad coffee to go. Wouldn’t have been so bad if I was paying for a $30 hotel, not over $100 hotel.
