Located 7.9 mi from Walt Disney World, Omni Orlando Resort features 3 year-round outdoor pools, including a lazy river, family pool with water slide, wave pool and adult pool with cabanas. The resort has a signature Mokara Spa and 9 restaurants. A flat-screen cable TV, small refrigerator, safety deposit box, and 2 telephones are provided in each of the 1,006 rooms, suites and villas at Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate. A hairdryer is included in each private bathroom. Surrounded by 36 holes of championship golf, the resort also features WiFi access, an on-site gift shop, and a 24-hour reception. A children's playground, fitness center, and courts for tennis and basketball. The 9-hole par 3 golf course is closed for renovation through September, 2024. Tickets to theme parks and area attractions are available for purchase at the Omni Orlando Resort concierge desk. Complimentary scheduled transfer service to Walt Disney World theme parks is offered. Universal Studios Orlando is 21 minutes' drive from this resort. Guests will be 20 minutes' drive from shopping at Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets, and 30 minutes' drive from Orlando International Airport.

    It's pretty simple. If you like to be outdoors with your children, if you like to have a cocktail by the pool,if you want to play around the golf on a great golf course this is where you wanna stay. Unbelievable place! We'll be back on the regular.

    Our daily of 4 really enjoyed our stay. I wish we had more time to experience all the amenities as there are so many but we had a full agenda exploring Orlando. I will definitely consider staying with Omni again if we travel to another city with one. This was our first time and we were impressed. We asked the staff if it was possible to check us in the same room so that we didn't have to pack and move to another room. The hotel was very accommodating and was able to help us with our request!     It was okay.. I wouldn’t stay again. Our room was extremely outdated with carpet flooring and just felt meh. The check in process was ridiculous as they valet your car we watched the valet drivers backing into other vehicles and damaging them.

    Our biggest disappointment was the pool area. It was the reason we chose to come here. It was so busy when we arrived at 3pm that there were no loungers left to use that weren’t littered with used towels, leftover food, cups and dirty dishes. It was gross. We tried th adults pool but it was full. There were kids all over the place and the Lazy river was filthy. I never saw one server so we went to the bar to order drinks and food. The quality of drinks were sub par and the chicken tenders and fries were cold, soggy and had terrible presentation. We tired to dine at Trevi’s Italian but tj vibe there was loud, open, buffet style so we asked to go outside and they put us at a random table near the bar and where people were smoking and told us they don’t have enough servers. We left a tried to find something nicer nearby but there are not many options for nice dining in the area. To think we chose to return here 13 yrs later and had this experience is very disappointing. Considering this is an Omni property, we definitely had higher expectations.

    Everything was nice, clean and multiple pool choices we enjoyed our stay and Omni were accommodating by leaving us a very nice surprise for my baby’s one year birthday We would love to thanks Elias and Jared at the trevi’s restaurant, when they knew it was my baby’s birthday they brought her a small gift from Omni team and she loved it , all staff were super nice Rooms need a bit of upgraded cleaning , cribs for babies are good but they were not stable enough for toddlers

We do not have roaches in our home, and it is not something we expect to encounter when we are paying to stay at a hotel. When we reported the issue to the front desk, the response was nonchalant, simply “OK,” with no apology or sense of concern. No one offered to change our room or address the situation proactively. I had to request that housekeeping come to clean the room, and even then there was no sense of urgency. The lack of empathy and responsiveness from the front desk was very disappointing and took away from what could have otherwise been a great stay.

    There are a lot of extra fees and taxes added once you check in, your bill will be at least $50 more per night than your invoice shows…. they also hold $100/ night for incidentals. These charges add up so be prepared. The room was clean and the staff were friendly, otherwise I would give this place one star.

    Please be aware that Omni has become the poster child for corporate greed. It’s bad enough the resort fees are up to $43 per night but now they charge you $14.90 to RENT a towel at the pool area. That’s per towel, I was flabbergasted.

    We love your hotel and all the services and activities that are available. Our only concern is that your hotel and property are not walkable for someone who uses a cane or wheelchair. I had to use a wheelchair to go from our room to the elevator (3 corridors to get there) and to proceed out of the hotel.

    All was great, but what ruined the experience was the extra wait for the shuttle to take us baxk n forth from the buildings....the shuttle system n3eds to be revised or just more staff.....the building are too far away for convinients daily walking to baxk n forth from main area...and when u aske for a shuttle its like a 12 to 15 min wait n have to ask the staff to call the diver several times...just an inconvenience that dampens the experience

    It was rated a five star and I’m not believing that after this day. I felt like I was in a timeshare facility. When we got moved from our room after the kitchen flooded, they moved us right across the hall, but the smell was very musty. I don’t think I’ll go back.

    This was the most beautiful, clean, luxurious experience I have had at a resort. Me and my family were very impressed with how beautiful & clean the property was. We loved the amenities it had to offer, the outdoor areas, and water slides. We literally enjoyed the resort so much we had no reason to leave except for exploring the area. We had not one single complaint. The staff were friendly. We will definitely stay again. This place is a gem that we want to keep a secret.

    They have both feather pillows and poly fill pillows so make sure you request hat you want. They have beautiful pool choices including a lazy river. Many many conference rrooms. Some of the bathrooms by the conference were not cleaned and stocked in a timely fashion. The tap water tastes terrible. Thankfully they offer Aqua Panne and San P. Overall very good experience and I would recommend it.

    My family and I enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Omni. We live in Florida and plan a yearly getaway at an Orlando resort that must have a lazy river. The Omni is now our new favorite place. The pool and lazy river were just what we were looking for. It wasn't too crowded. The employees we interacted with were all friendly and helpful. We had a delicious breakfast buffet at Trevi's. We had lunch poolside from Crocs. We also picked up breakfast sandwiches and coffee from the Broadway Deli. I appreciated the variety of restaurants to choose from as well as the convenience of not having to leave the resort. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfy and the air condition was cold. We had a balcony and was able to see the Disney fireworks in the distance. Overall, I'd give our stay a 10 out of 10.

    We have been going to the Omni for years. We absolutely love it. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. On this trip, my son turned 13 and they brought him a special desert to our room! Every single staff was truly so helpful, happy and friendly. I really loved the roasted beet and feta salad from the Italian restaurant. I have only two complaints. The first is that the restaurant by the pool has very limited hours and closes fairly early. When we go to the Omni, we spend 90% of our time on the property. We stay by the pool ALL day long. I wish the pool side restaurant had later hours. My biggest complaint has been present on our past 2 visits, June 2024 and July 2025. The mattresses are terribly uncomfortable. It was so bad on this last trip that I literally got less than 5 hours of sleep the first night and woke with shoulder pain each morning. The mattresses are lumpy and hard as a rock. The bed sheets were nice and comfortable though. Sadly, I’m not sure we will return until they’ve changed out some mattresses.

    There is so much to do for everyone there. We had a total of 4 adults and 3 under 3 in our group and everyone enjoyed themselves. There was a convention going on but with all the pools, it never felt too crowded. A HUGE shout out to Ethan for going above and beyond to make our stay extra special. He took the time to learn why we were vacationing and then added extra touches to make this experience even more special. We will always be Omni people now.

    For the price I paid...and the name, I expected a lot more. First, there are a lot of extra fees that were hidden in the fine print. Resort fee of $43 a day and parking fee of $38 a day...for uncovered parking....uhhhh okay. Making the cost more than I expected. I didn't even use the resort most of the time I was there. Out of the 7 days, we went to the pool 3 times for a total of 6 hours. The wave pool was broken. One day it was so crowded, there were no chairs to sit and relax, so I left and went to another resort that my friends were staying at (they only had a $10 resort fee and $10 parking...was also considered part of the Omi. Two thumbs down. The beds were NOT comfortable. I didn't sleep all week. Luckily I brought my own pillow. The water in the shower and bathroom SMELLED SO BAD! My daughter got sick from one of the restaurants. The drinks tasted FOU, maybe the ice from the SMELLY water...idk...but I paid $19 for adult beverages that were watered down and tasted disgusting. The service was not good. At check in they didn't tell me to use my key card for parking so I paid for parking twice. Restaurant service was not good either. The service took forever. Dinner one night took 2 hours because the server got a large party and forgot we existed. AND my daughter got sick from the food one day. This place has so much potential....but I was really disappointed.

    Our room was fine overall. I had to request hand soap, and there were stains on the floor, but these didn’t impact our stay. The free drink vouchers were a nice touch. The biggest issue was the pool area, which felt more like a waterpark than a resort. While a holiday weekend brings crowds, the atmosphere felt overwhelming. Requiring wristbands to access the pool — even though you need a room key to get in — felt excessive and impersonal. We wondered: does Omni now sell day passes? What used to feel exclusive and relaxing now felt overcrowded and hectic. The pool chair situation was frustrating. Even arriving early didn’t help, and our chairs were taken while we were swimming! A staff member told us to just take other chairs — even if there were personal belongings on them! — that advice didn’t sit right. We also struggled with dining. Trevis appeared fully booked online and didn’t answer calls. After a failed off-site attempt at dinner due to weather, we returned and were seated right away at Trevis. Food and service were great, but staff began loudly closing up while we were still eating. Makes sense why they didn’t answer our calls. We made the most of our stay, but won’t return for another holiday weekend.

    I have stayed at the Omni Championsgate many time. I have always been very impressed as to why I have gone back. This trip I was very disappointed. The room was over in the west wing of the hotel which was very far. I was pretty sure we were the only ones on that side of the hotel as we never encountered anyone while we were going to an from the pool and never shared an elevator with anyone which was odd. I did not like that specific room. Also the room had an empty wine bottle under the cabinet by the fridge which makes me wonder how clean it was. There was a large bag of garbage that stayed outside of our room the entire trip. I called and asked for a second chair for the balcony. I layer around 7:42 received a text message that said the room type did not have a second chair. I was ok with that but then at 9:51PM we got a loud knock on the door. It was someone with a second chair. I had three young children who were asleep. That was very unprofessional timing. The pool side service had to practically be flagged down with a flare just to get them to come over to us in the kiddie pool section. I just was not overall pleased this trip and like this is not my first time staying here. I will have to think twice the next booking.

    To start off with the staff was very nice all of them and that’s a huge plus that can make a huge difference in your vacation. Now this is a small observation the hotel was freezing every floor every building. Next, the other observation would be that the pool area is becoming a little dated. It could use a refresh along with the pool chairs. I found myself seeing a ton of ants by the pool chair that I was laying on other than that, it was really great time like I said the staff was very kind very friendly every single person so we had a great time. Just a small adjustment to revamp. The Omni would be great. We love that hotel. We’ve been going there for over 15 years. Thank you for having us.

    Food is pricey. At crocs we had 2 quesadillas, one nachos, 2 kids Mac’s and 4 lemonades and it was $140 including tip. Bring graham crackers and chocolate for smores cause your kids will want,& each smores kit is $10 at the deli on site. Self park is $38 per day, valet is $50 so plan on spending a lot. The grounds and facilities are exquisite and well kept. Now the reason I took one star away is because,we got off the elevator and walked the hallway to the rooms and the carpet hasn’t been vacuumed in a while, I even saw a medicine pill on the floor. I wasn’t going to touch it cause I didn’t know what it was but, I kicked it into a corner cause a kid could grab it or a pet. I got in the room and wanted to shower and saw HAIR on the wall… gross. So housekeeping is not great on the 7th floor rooms 724&725. The bottom of the shower curtain had that red mold on it. The next morning I slept in and had my do not disturb sign on the door but when I left the room at 11, housekeeping was already gone. I didn’t think much until I got a text message saying they say my do not disturb sign and to text them if I wanted housekeeping. I mean obviously I want housekeeping to clean not just see the sign at 11am and assume I don’t. 2 days have passed and as I checked out the hallway was even dirtier and the medicine pill was still there.

    The entire stay was a wonderful and positive experience from beginning to end. The check in was great, fast and welcoming. The room was clean and had everything we needed.     I've been coming here for years and loved the space and availability of the pools the best. This year the pools were very croweded. I couldnt get a lounge chair in any of the pools. There were people there that were clearly not a guest in the hotel. While everything else was great, my experience at the pool put a damper on everything.     The bad - This time we stayed at the west wing, there are no ice machines on any floor, but they do give you the ice bucket for teasers I guess. The Valet phone service is a mess! I was getting all kinds of text messages, just not my car, even when they texted it’s ready… Also, the Valet is $50 per night, WOW! I hate to say this, but the Crocs by the pool is disgusting! Sat at the bar with my husband and everything is old, messy and even moldy! Come on, clean it up!!! Lastly, the resort offers wonderful water options with lots of pools, slides, lazy river, wave pool etc all is wonderful, but the landscaping in the water areas seems very neglected and forgotten, perhaps before renovation…

    This property is one of the few properties in Orlando area where you can just go and relax for the weekend and not have to think about theme parks if you don't want to but if you do even though it's a little bit of an extra drive away from most of them, you go back to an oasis in the middle of the city where you can easily take a theme park day off and just hang out at the resort and have a vacation within your vacation. But it definitely stands out for being one of the few properties in the area that easily works as a standalone vacation destination. This is a great place to take a quick getaway alone with the wife if you can do that or with the whole family for 2 days spend a whole day and a half lounging at a pool and come home refreshed! Excellent property, great service, rooms could use s tiny bit of updating or at least switch out some of the old furniture with acreage, but other than little details, it is spotless and feels like you get value for your money.

    We had a beautiful week of weather during our stay and enjoyed every minute we could in the lovely pools. There were always clean towels, good beverages and lots of tasty food options on site. We also enjoyed the easy walk into “town”. Our room was very clean and we loved the cozy, king-sized bed pillows (hard to find in hotels anymore!) All in all, we had a fantastic stay and I would love to return.

    Great resort! Super affordable rooms! Friendly staff and very accommodating! We have stayed here many times. Dining is fairly priced for a golf resort. Plenty of space by the pools and lots of tubes available. Love the activities available outdoors for kids like the basketball court, mini golf etc. A couple of areas for improvement would be softer beds because they are a bit too firm and uncomfortable (I don't remember having this issue in the past). The lighting in the bathroom is awful and too dim. Better working AC in the rooms because we had to drop ours to 60 overnight to stay cool enough and that wasn't even enough. I should have let the front desk know about that but we didn't and just dealt with it for 3 nights. Lastly, my kids were really bummed the basketball hoop in the pool was removed. These are minor issues. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will be back again and again like usual 😀

    We stayed in the Villas. Our check in time was 4 pm. We arrived around 5 pm and our villa was not ready for us. We did not get to our room until around 6 pm. The grounds are very nice but the room /villa is not great. The couch was dirty. The washer and dryer did not work well. The showers door leaked everywhere. The place was not cleaned well. Cobwebs in the windows, Body hair in showers, Body hair around the toilet. I really expected better from this hotel.

    Feels like nickel and diming you the whole time. Our rooms were in the sunset lodge so we weee. It directly connected to main building. We ordered breakfast room service and it came like Uber Eats. Didn’t feel like an Omni service. Ordered a bottle of champagne to the room, was delivered no ice, just in paper bag and we went got ice and found the ice bucket I. The room. For $104 dollars they could have brought it cold and ready to drink.

    - Bathrooms have curtains, not glass. The rooms are a little dated, but still nice. No bathroom fan switch. Surprised it was built in 2004, it feels older. - The hotel gets VERY full on the weekends. A million people checked in Friday. I needed to call the front desk for something, no one even answered. - Generally, the water in the Orlando area has a terrible taste. Always get bottled water. Not the hotel's fault but some resorts are better about filtering the water. - Some of the waiters are a bit too informal. After tasting the water and telling the waitress I wanted to switch to bottled water, she joked "No more dirt water" when she brought the bottle. Not an appetizing thing to hear at dinner. Was not a joke worth making I'd say. A waiter at the Japanese restaurant was also very new and disappeared for a long while. They also microwave the saki if you order it hot. A secret I wish I didn't learn. - Youth soccer teams checked in Friday night for a tournament. They should be careful about letting that happen, it turns the place into a rowdy playground. Kids all over the lobby. Some loudmouth kid was yelling off the balcony under me at midnight. Clearly someone else paid for his room with a fundraiser. People who earn their way to an upscale place don't act that way. So 4 out of 5 stars for me.

    Front desk agent Amanda was unhelpful, her solution was to send me more toilet paper and a cleaning crew. Service came and then said no cleaning crew would come and I could use my travel wipes to clean the toilet. I did so but it was more than I could handle, especially when more was found all over the bath door. I then went to my suites front desk and the amazing Angel managed to move my room the front desk said they could not do. She went above and beyond sending me champagne and a cheese spread. Which was appreciated. But, while the toilet was clean there was still uncleaned urine all over the floor and walls. They also didn’t do room cleaning despite never opting out.
