The breakfast was OK and that’s about the best part of the stay. The toilet ran all night, the microwave didn’t heat any food up and the AC was lackluster.

It was a very enjoyable business trip. Loved My hotel room and all the amenities. Very close to many businesses, but still private.

the hotel is nice and clean but the room service is not good at all. I am staying in this hotel for 5-6 nights, multiple times I have requested room service to clean the room and take out the trash, but they have not showed up. only once they have come (in last 5 days) and they have cleaned only bathrooms. they have not changed the sheets. service is very bad. so do not recommend this place. I end up staying here since I settled my stuffed but do not recommend.

Myself and two friends shared a room for two nights due to an upcoming wedding. The morning of the second day I requested some more towels and an extra blanket the front desk worker wrote down my request and room number and said we would get them shortly. Four hours later we still did not have the items. I called again and was told we would have them shortly. We did not get them before leaving for the wedding which was three hours after the second request. Upon arriving back from the wedding 8 hours later we still did not have the towels and blanket. I called again and they said we would get them in just a little bit. We did not. We checked out the next day and the requested items had never been given. I was extremely disappointed and frustrated and due to this service would not recommend this hotel to others.

Our room was in need of an update. The tub had black stains in it, paint was patched. When we came into the room, the dishwasher was running and the bathroom floor was wet, as if the room had just been cleaned, even thoigh we were there an hour after check-in.

The breakfast was good, but lacked a waffle maker, which seems pretty basic. Also the fitness center was really nice, with the exception of the peloton bike. The knob to adjust the height was broken and we were told they didn’t have “the tool” to adjust it. The second day an employee, Cam, asked us if everything was okay. I mentioned this issue. He left and came back about 5 minutes later with a vise grip and got the job done. Kudos to Cam!

The breakfast was very mediocre and you can tell the place needs to be updated.

We support pet friendly hotels, but they do not separate rooms specifically for pets like other places we've stayed. I would never recommend staying at Homewood Suites based on this experience.

Excellent property felt like home. Rules were spacious and convenient. Ours had a full fridge dishwasher microwave dishes.Staff was amazing. Highly recommend.

Wanted to use the pool but the two days we were there. Pool was under maintenance but look fine through the window.

We had a suite that was very large which was nice but it had a terrible odor as if the carpet had maybe been cleaned but couldn't get some possible pet urine out. The rooms were quite worn out with bathroom needing recaulking and there was no spare toilet paper and very little on the roll. The fitted sheet did not cover the mattress sides and not good quality but the bed was comfortable. It was also in a very inconvenient location from the interstate which we did not realize. The silver lining was a very nice staff and a very good hot breakfast.

Nice sized suite, tall comfy bed, large bathroom, and free appetizers with wine at dinner time (that was a nice surprise). There was a charge to park the car which was not in the listing.

All a bit specific for my room, but Room was warm despite temp being set 68. I don’t think it was dehumidifying. Knob for fan control in room didn’t work. Elliptical in fitness center was not working fully unable to raise resistance setting. Fitness center floor is not cleaned regularly (same things on floor over 3 days seen). needs machine wipes maintained. No hand sanitizer there.

The manager and the staff are amazing and very friendly. The elevator was broke and they are working on getting it fixed but it was an inconvenience but again the staff was very helpful and always smiled. The air conditioning was good and the breakfast was a 8 out of 10.

The room itself was missing tissue, paper towels , dish towels & wash rags, plus had load of dirty dishes in the dishwasher. The next morning, we had no hot water in the shower. We left ot running on hot for over 15 min and it barely reached warm but since we were leaving early, we couldnt do anything like change rooms etc. We did tell the front desk. I've stayed at many Homewood suites so i know this isn't the normal but I am not a satisfied customer at this point based on this stay.

The property is within walking distance of the university campus. The area feels very safe and quiet. The building it’s clean overall all but the suite that we got needs updating. The kitchen appliances are old and some are broken, the cabinets feel sticky. The shower had mold. The tissues box and tissues were wet. The carpet wasn’t vacuumed well. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Homewood Suites is in the perfect location near the university. It was clean, had plenty of space, and they had a simple, but nice breakfast. We had to ask for extra sheets and a blanket for the pull out sofa. It was delivered promptly and the person who delivered it was professional. Highly recommend!

The hotel is right near the center of town for all of the bits and pieces that locals would like. Mostly food, but also some of the attraction areas, and the bar/grills downtown at night.

Couch in sitting room needs to be replaced. It sagged so much it was hard to get out of. Toilet needed to be tightened. Bathtub did not drain completely after use. Curtain in bedroom did not close completely. Shaft of light came in in the morning that was annoying when trying to sleep. TV's in bedroom and sitting room did not have the same stations. This was annoying when wanting to finish watching a show on the other TV.

Great checkin experience - Damon was very friendly and quick. Free self parking was a bonus. Our suite was very spacious and had a separate bedroom for my husband and I. There was a full, nice kitchen. I called the front desk upon arrival to request sheets for the pullout couch and Damon immediately came to our room with a prepacked bag of bedding. Everything was perfect.

We stayed here for Junior Golf camp. The staff was amazing. Everyone was friendly and that made our visit worthwhile. The pool was nice and the breakfast always had fresh coffee. Thanks for having us and we will be back.

I’m a costumer and I love to come every time

There wasn't much I could eat due to dietary restrictions. Whoever cleaned our room prior to our arrival was just phoning it in. Previous occupant had left clothes in the dresser and they were still there. There weren't any pillows for the fold out couch bed. The kitchen supplies were missing several items. This last one is just my personal preference, I like to find a folder with info about local restaurants, etc. there was nothing, not even a pen & paper.

Overall it seems like a good place to stay but there was no soap for the sink when we arrived and there was some debris on the bathroom floor. The worst part, though, was the tub had some sort of big “patch” on the bottom which made the tub look like it’s not very clean.

Have stayed at this property many times. This time the kitchen area only had a few spoons, no forks and one knife. They used to have a full complement of utensils. There was only one pot and it was casserole size large. The toilet did leak when flushed clean water between tank and bowl connection.

Very nice property! I enjoyed the property and amenities! I was impressed with the breakfast selection and cleanliness of the room and dining area! The pool was ok but small bit of black mold in shower (in pool area) and no hot tub. Nice gym though and they offer free ear buds in case you forgot yours and that was thoughtful! I was a little irritated when I reserved double queen beds for 5 of us (3 kids) and was given a king and a sofa bed. The hotel was not sold out but when I asked I was told that due to booking through vendor I was given anything open? So not sure why or what that is all about but we just went with it. Unfortunately, we were only offered 1 sheet, 1 blanket, & 1 additional pillow? So, our kids luckily had their kiddie blankets from the car! Other than that it was an easy and friendly stay! I would recommend and I would stay again! Nice area and walking distance to a wonderful Children’s park- Hessel Park- has a splash pad and big playground! Ice cream shop within walking distance 💖

Check- in was bad. There were about 6 or guests waiting for their rooms when I arrived. It was check-in time, but the rooms were not ready. I waited for an hour for my room. Many other people waited even longer and more people came in later who also had long waits. There seemed to be a major shortage of housekeeping folks to take care of the rooms.

Check in was supposed to be at 3 pm but wasnt ready until 8 pm😡😡 Was told at 3 pm it would be about a 15 minute wait, for it to be 5 hours is crazy, without a discount or other accommodations offered. Will not book here ever again👎

Stayed 2 nights. No housekeeping, gotta go to the front for towels and toilet paper, dead safe but employee's no responding, no hair dryer, and 45 min waiting for check-in due to not cleaned room at 4:00 pm.

We've stayed at this Homewood a number of times. It's always been above average, a very nice place to stay. However, this time was different. We arrived at 3:00 pm for check-in, which is when check-in starts. They were having issues communicating with housekeeping, telling them which rooms were ready. It took an hour and a half before they could find a room for us. Then, when we finally got to the room, housekeeping was just getting started on it. Don't want to go through this again, sorry.

The only issue we had with our stay is that the bed was like sleeping on a slab of concrete! It was the HARDEST mattress I've ever slept on, to the point that I had bruises on my hip and shoulder after just two nights.

The room did not have any toiletries and 1/2 a roll of toilet paper. There were only 2 very small towels in the bathroom.

Homewood suites was a great place to stay. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast were good. The gym was good. The only reason for a four star was because the pool was cold, otherwise it was a great stay.

We have stayed here before and loved it. This time was not so great. The gentleman working the front desk was pretty rude when we were trying to check in. Not happy at all that we booked through Expedia. The pool was filthy. I had to skim it myself because I was full of clumps of hair floating around and you couldn’t see the bottom of the pool at all. Ran out of breakfast by 9AM both mornings leaving few choices. Very disappointed with this visit.

A couple of days later, I wanted a bottle of mineral water. So I went to the shop at the reception, but there was no bottled water. So I asked the receptionist if there are any bottled water I can buy. He said only the water they have is the free bottles for newly coming guests. While I was talking with the receptionist, a manager-like lady cut in to our conversation and started saying she had something to talk to the receptionist about different subject from what we were talking. She completely ignored me, a guest, and started talking about a certain hotels business matter. The hotel manager completely ignored the guest! Also, the breakfast lounge is very dirty like pig pen. This hotel is totally out of Hilton quality, and I will never stay here again.

Our two day stay was very nice, but our key stopped working several times. That was very inconvenient because our room was at the farthest point away from the front desk.

I loved that the room was spacious. The one drawback is that the bathroom sink was not partitioned from the room and it was hard to use the sink when my daughter was asleep.

Unfortunately the property said they had no reservation on file for me, even though I was charged and got a confirmation email stating the correct dates and this hotel. It took a half hour for them to believe me and put us in a room after driving 12 hours across the country.

HOrribLE breakfast. Sausage inedible if it really was sausage. No gravy. No biscuits. And no Belgian Waffles. stale raisin bread. Apple juice was tasteless. But the Jif Peanut Butter was excellent. Eggs not so bad.

Upon arrival, we found out our room did not have a bathtub. Shower only. No help from the hotel associate. We are two older people who just wanted a wonderful, relaxing hotel stay to celebrate a birthday. To celebrate 55 years, we had to eat some humble pie.

People that work there are very nice. Pool was closed but not sure if we would have swam anyway . It was great for the one night . !

And the wifi is cumbersome and should be simplified - I shouldn't have to "register" for a rewards program just to use internet.

Other than the people upstairs from us that sounded like they were playing basketball all night and all morning, the stay was great.

We went for state tournament as we are all coaches and radio personal. We wish we would have had towel service each day. Rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was delicious and front desk was awesome. I recommend using this hotel.

Homewood Suites staff was incredible. Hotels.com did not properly secure my reservation and their customer service was completely incompetent, but Homewood staff went out of their way to accommodate my party.

Place was beautiful, room spacious. Tv on dresser facing other side of room and not facing the couch or the bed, had to move dresser from wall and turn tv to face a direction in which we could watch tv, so for that I would suggest mounting tv on wall with adjustable tv mount. Was clean and breakfast was pretty good, would suggest getting waffle maker!! Staff helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again if in Champaign Illinois again….we were in town for the Girl Named Tom “One More Christmas” concert at Virginia theatre, so this was just a few miles away and very convenient to shopping and restaurants!
