This hotel is maintained beautifully inside and out. It is very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help out with any requests. I will be back when we pass through this area.

Visit was far less than a few years ago. Reserved room for 4 with 2 queen beds ended with 2 full beds and only 2 towels. Bath vent didn't and hasn't worked for awhile mold on ceiling and paint cracking. Poorly maintained bath. Breakfast options were poor. No towels in the pool. Overall experience was a disappointment from our past stay here.

Front desk is helpful & usually polite. Nearby "Nellie Fox Bowl" bowling alley was fun. The cons- Not all the hotels fault, but not everyone's pets are well behaved, other guests were loud, non-smoking rooms but someone was smoking cigarettes & pot-entire 2nd floor stunk, saw people vaping indoors, the pool was really cold & the towels were empty for several days, the pool room floor is extremely slippery- wrong kind of flooring for a pool, a treadmill wasn't working, & the cleaning lady always looked at us with a terrible frown/scowl. Parking is good, but can fill up quickly at night & our Mercedes extended van was a very tight fit!

Clean rooms & Coffee was great at breakfast

This is the second time we've stayed at this property. It was recently renovated - probably less than 2 years ago. The decor is slightly odd by our aesthetic standards but well done. Helpful staff, super clean beds, and no surcharge for the small cat that we brought with us. They have some really nice carts for carrying your luggage up to the room that are three wheeled with a basket brakes. Unlike traditional bellman's carts, they are easy to move around. We skipped breakfast as we usually do because typical hotel breakfast have very little of appeals to us - that's just a general perspective not a comment on this particular hotel. Typically about $20 cheaper than other places we tend to stay such as Courtyard Marriott or Hampton, but it works nicely for us. Being in the hotel zone, it's also close to places like Longhorn Steakhouse, Cafe del Sol, and some other decent chain restaurants. There's a Giant brand grocery store across the street from the Longhorn that is very large and well equipped, along with Giant gas station that had prices far lower than we saw anywhere on interstate 95 and lower than we saw elsewhere in Pennsylvania.

I stayed in a king suite and it was better than expected because the cost was super reasonable. I really liked that there were 2 televisions!

Our room was clean and very roomy. Breakfast had multiple items to choose from. Only complaint would be at check in. There were 3 people in line and one customer being waited who did not speak English and didn’t have proper idea and there was only one person and the desk. A second person arrived and started checking in with he person in front of us but the desk person waiting on the other customer who was having issues just passed off the customer and the desk person left. To me he should have stayed and finished who he was working on and try to help with the other guests and then leave.

Room key kept malfunctioning. Had to get it reprogrammed three times. Fitness center equipment did not work.

As a halfway from the South this is a good place to stay. The only downfall is it is located in a dry Township. Would have liked a drink after driving 10 hours. The hotel is clean, reasonable with free parking and decent breakfast. The staff is very accommodating. Very easy access to I-81 for resuming travel. If you’re stopping in this area would recommend this hotel and would reserve again in the future.

Well-lit for dog walking, we’ll manicured, clean, felt safe

Room and bathroom were both very clean. Hotel as a whole was very well maintained. Only downfall was the amount of parking for larger vehicles, or vehicles pulling trailers. Would recommend asking ahead of time if there is room to park.

It is a great location because it is right off the highway. Everything at LaQuinta met our expectations. It is the 2nd time we stayed there when traveling. We would definitely stay there again!! I do not have anything to complain about. We were completely satisfied.

Always a pleasant stay

The staff was overall very friendly and professional. The facilities were overall clean and well maintained, although my personal standard of "clean" is very different than the average guest as I notice details that a majority of travelers would never think twice about. With that said - Our room was virtually clean, but there was a persistent damp/musty odor throughout the room, likely hidden mold issues. The bathroom did not have a vent - which creates the perfect conditions for mold to grow. This was confirmed upon arrival as there were black mold spots across the entire ceiling in our shower. I carry cleaning supplies with me, so we sprayed the ceiling with mold cleaner and wiped the area with a microfiber rag. We then noticed the caulk around the shower door had black mold growing beneath/around it - which was beyond our ability to clean, obviously. The headboard also had fingerprints and liquid marks across it that we had to clean ourselves. Hotel staff should be given more time for each room and required to do a more thorough cleaning.

AJ the manager was friendly, accommodating, excellent.

The breakfast is decent. I love the waffles. I had scrambled eggs and sausage and a bagel. I love checking in online before I get there. AJ had all my paperwork ready and it was seamless. It is easy on and easy off the highway.

Breakfast was hot and there were lots of bread, bagels, English Muffins and Pastries to go along with a good selection of cold cereals, waffles, toppings, juice, coffee, etc. I want to make a particular comment about the scrambled eggs…which are usually pretty bad at any hotel…the eggs here were soft, fluffy, buttery and were some of the best I’ve had.

Very convenient to the highway and plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area. Very pleasant staff. Comfortable rooms. Bathroom was nice and bright. Nice variety at breakfast. My only complaint was that they don’t use real eggs for breakfast.

All the staff we encountered during our overnight stay, were very friendly! The room and beds were clean and comfortable. More importantly, the promptness of housekeeping and front desk when I left behind my insulin in the room fridge. VERY thankful for them contacting me, when we were 15 miles into our 3 hour drive! Kudos to all!

Pool was so disgusting… even the kids wouldn’t get in to swim. There was a dirty pooped diaper left laying and the whole room smelled like it. The pool was extremely dirty. No shampoo or conditioner in the room which wasn’t a big deal. We stayed here during a basketball tournament so the kids could swim and we were really disappointed.

I noticed a few more items on the weekend I visited and suspect this is because it was the weekend. Wish they had some fresh fruit options. But generally speaking it is an acceptable breakfast.

Very nice place, easy to find. It is great the pool was open. The room is terribly loud facing interstate 81, I hope so can sleep tonight. The window should be sound proofed. Other than that, everything is a okay.

Our hotel stay was very good. Check in was quick and easy, hotel was very clean, king bed room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was ok, not great or bad, coffee was good. The only downside is the hotel is very near I 81 and if your room is in the front somewhat noisy. Overall I would recommend this hotel, just bring ear plugs!!

Super easy to get to next to shopping and Texas Roadhouse, LETSGOOOOO, but yeah quick stop, gentlemen was accommodating as my room wasn't ready I was flexible he got me in another room right away. 10/10 recommend. Room spotless, gym actually had weights and elliptical, definitely a restay.

I81 constant noise. Dark carpet seemed dirty. Cracked bath sink. Comfortable bed and convenient location were positives.

Was discouraged that bathroom was advertised as ADA, but was missing a handheld shower head. Stationary shower head not useful from a seated handicap chair.

The staff was polite and cooperative as I was arriving late due to traffic congestion.

The hotel was conveniently located for our travels. The room was comfortable and roomier than we expected, very enjoyable. However, since the room faced the highway, the traffic noise continued all evening and into the morning. The next time we will ask for a room away from the highway. The breakfast was very enjoyable and had a variety of tasty offerings. The darkroast coffee is delicious.

Easy to make last minute reservation.

The staff were very friendly and am sure would have helped us with any problem. However, the beds were very high and my wife who is shorter than I am had trouble getting into bed. Also, the swimming pool was small and the fitness room had machines that didn't work or had loose and/or broken parts.

My husband and I stayed the night with our young grandnephew that we are adopting. He carries a security blanket that he has had for five years. When we were leaving in the morning we thought we had checked everything and left. An hour later our little guy wanted his blanket to sleep and we realized we didn’t lift the blankets at the hotel room and it was left under the blankets. I immediately called and the woman at tge desk told me that housekeeping had left for day. We were going to drive back for it. She said call next day. We were heading down south. Next morning I called and she said they didn’t find anything which we knew was a lie because he slept with it and we noticed almost immediately it was gone! Im extremely upset about this because Im sure to them it was just a blanket but to this little boy it was a lot! It was a long vacation of him heartbroken and he is still struggling. I’ve searched everywhere for a blanket like it and cannot find it. Do better Laquinta!

Family suite was a nice room, with a door for the bedroom to allow extra privacy for a couple , while the living area with the sofa bed was great for a child. Housekeepers were great and overall staff was friendly and courteous at this location.

The pool could have been cleaner, but was still swimmable, just was near needing a cleaning of the surfaces.

While the decor was beautiful, while the rooms were truly immaculate, the carpet smelled dirty. That’s the reason for the 4 star, otherwise I would have given it a 5 star. Very easy access off I-81 but we never heard the traffic. I would definitely stay again, and do recommend it.

Im a solo traveler, so I am very picky about where I stay and this place was very safe, clean and comfortable! And for only $25 extra, it is pet friendly. Which I always need because I travel with my dog.

I stay here often and have had good dependable experiences. This time the pet friendly room smelled of urine and when I mentioned it to the check out clerk, the response was," we'll clean the rugs". This wasn't the correct service provider response. And one that does not address our dissatisfaction

The only thing that was not so good was the hot water. The water was only warm, not hot.

I only needed a place to rest for a night. The room was clean. The alarm clock was difficult to use. The time was slow by 10-12 min and I could not correct it. I turned off the alarm setting before going to bed, but it was back on at 6am (well, 6:10am, since it was slow). The pillows were small square pillows (weird) not standard size bed pillows - difficult to sleep on half size pillow.

Our room on the front of the building was spacious, clean and comfortable - but we had to endure a lot of road noise as the hotel front is adjacent to the interstate. We were able to mitigate that some with the AC fan on constantly. Simple but nice breakfast. I’d stay again

Wish they had left filled bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Fridge in room had lots of left over food in it from previous guest. Management took care of it right away but I had to go to front desk to tell them my phone was not working in my room. Other than that the stay was great and next to major highway and next to many businesses to get food and shop.

The hotel was very clean. The breakfast had a good variety. The hotel is located in a convenient location to Stores and Gettysburg.

Next was the check-in: The check-in was painless. I booked a deluxe executive room and was assigned room #222 and that’s where it all falls apart. We didn’t spend anytime in the room,m as it was 4th of July and went to memorial park to see the fireworks. When we returned at about 10:00 pm to spend the night, we noticed that linens has blood stain, it was dirty and had holes all over the place. We called the front desk and the person was very helpful. He immediately arrived and agreed that the room was inhabitable and very soon after talking to management assigned room # 220 which by the way was not deluxe executive for which I originally paid. Anyways, let’s keep going. While the hotel staff was with us, we moved our bags and came to room #220 but it had similar issues. There were hairs on the linens which obviously shows that it was not washed. I showed the staff member and denied to accept the room. It was almost 10:45 pm by now. The staff member went to his office to check if there was another room available. After about 15 minutes when he didn’t show up, I went down to check and was told to take room 320. I moved my bags again and found that roo

The only reason for my responses being less than 5 stars was that one of the beds had a food stain and black hairs on the sheets, suggesting to me that it had not been washed between guests,

The best LaQuinta I have stayed in.

After a long drive from pigeon Forge I wanted to soak in a warm bath but I noticed hairs in the tub and shower curtain (which meant they didn’t change the curtain). Then I noticed a yellowish ring around the tub that wasn’t scrubbed clean. So disappointing.

We were happy with everything but breakfast. There was still an hour before the end of Breakfast. Eggs are and sausage were just about out. I got the last of the eggs, I didn’t ask for more . I was done by the time more eggs were put out, we had to leave. They never put out extra sausage.

I guess a nearby farm was cleaning out barns or some other structure because there was a strong oder of manure outside. Otherwise OK place.

Very nice staff.

This was not a great hotel experience for us for several reasons. The first being that the hotel is located very close to I-81 and our hotel room was on the side of the hotel facing the highway. It was extremely noisy due to the fact that you could hear the semi trucks flying by at all hours of the night. It seemed more quiet in the hallway between the rooms than our actual hotel room. The second reason is this hotel only provided mini pillows on our beds. These mini pillow are extremely uncomfortable to lay your head on. I do not recommend staying here if you want a quiet, restful, comfortable sleep.

Stayed overnight and enjoyed it. Rooms were clean and spacious. The only complaint I have is the lack of dairy-free options at the breakfast / for coffee for those of us with allergies.

Had a relatively okay stay (did ask something be done on our first day to prevent the exit door from slamming (at end of hallway). I was told it would be addressed but did not seem to be as it continued to happen throughout our stay. We did not mention it again. Breakfast area was purposely not cleaned as staff saw some issues, and I was told around 8 a.m. they were aware, that staff member would clean when he arrived but he waited until breakfast was through. Reported an issue that we became aware of the morning of our checkout, some dried blood at the bottom of my parents' bedsheets (mostly on the bottom sheet, just a couple dots of dried blood on the top sheet, and only on my father's side of the bed. Neither of my parents had any open wounds or even scratches anywhere on their bodies, so it clearly was there prior to our check in. We never pulled the sheets down prior to that morning so we had the staff member come to see it. Later, the Manager came to see it also and it was documented.
