The carpet was multiple colors of stains and decay, there were cobwebs everywhere a dead roach was on the floor and it smelled like a very spraying of cheap air spray.

The name of the hotel is deceiving. It is a “extended stay” hotel, so there are no amenities. The rooms are minimally furnished, bed was nice but 2 small pillows and no bed spread (when I asked for extra pillows, my request was denied), I saw a couple of roaches in the bathroom, old and smelly carpets and hallways….and stained walls. The property is not well maintained, but the room is tolerable.

I have already filled out a survey but I will say again, this hotel was terrible. I have nothing good to say about it. The room we were assigned was filthy, not ready for habitation. And we are not terribly picky people. Dust, dirt, reeked of pot.

The shower curtain in the bathroom had mold all over it and the tub would not stop leaking. The fan in the bathroom did not work. Just made a odd humming noise. The bed had no blanket, only a thin sheet and a decorative cover. The pillows were almost flat and they were only two so each person got one is no vending or ice machine on property but nothing to use to cook with no utensils. No pans, no cups. No plates at all. There was paint all over the floor that gave the appearance of being very dirty. Most of the walls were halfway painted. The bathroom door did not shut all the way. The lock for the inside of the room was broken and hanging off and when I was getting ready to leave the front desk clerk came to my room at 10:40 to ask me if I was leaving or extending my stay.

I walked in to my "non-smoking" room the first time. This was after the ADA VERY unfriendly having to go up half a flight of stairs to get to the steps to go downstairs to my first floor room. The hallway reeked. Entering my room, the stench of cigar/weed smoke hit me. I was too exhausted to go stand and wait for the manager to show up. I was able to get to the manager the next day to be told that not only were they working on the wi-fi, which never worked my whole stay, but they were fully booked and I could check out and lose the rest of my payment, and go find somewhere else to stay, or suck it up. I got candles. The roaches and spiders were fun. The broken lamps, trash everywhere, sagging ceilings, a rusted microwave and holes in the walls. I think someone may have cleaned the carpet in the hallway in 1979. The security door was broken, so anyone could walk in the back door. They had obviously ordered some materials to replace stuff inside, which they promptly left in the parking lot. In the rain. To rot.

We got upgrades to a newly remodeled room, but im not sure how "new" it was, there was mold in the bathroom. The Tv remote doesn't work except to turn it off or on. Other than that it was spacious so that was nice. It was fine for what we needed it for but definitely not the best place I've stayed in.

Reception desk with sign stating no on-premise assistance between 11:00 pm and 8:00 am.Place chosen for proximity to venue. Check in took so long, we were running late for our event. We took the card keys and went to our event without going to the room. Returned after 11:00 pm to find the room uninhabitable. Despite the 12"×4" strip of ripped up carpet, the mini kitchen cabinet doors hanging diagonally and the gaping drywall absent in the bathroom, the real concern was the bed/bedding. Or lack of it as there was only a sheet set and one pillow on the queen bed. The bottom center of the sheets had a large spill stain. Pulling the top sheet back revealed addition brown stains of various shades and sizes. Further inspection showed evidence of bed bugs (poop). Photos taken along the way. Needless to say, we did not stay. Forced to drive home since we had wasted money here...and there was no one to assist. 1 star was too generous. Go anywhere else. Beware!

Location of hotel was good and very convenient. Arrived and had to wait 45 minutes because room was not ready. Room had no pillows on bed. Bad odor throughout the hotel, also staff tried to enter room at 1 am in the morning for no reason. Could have been random person with pass key, they were trying to enter all rooms on that floor with no explanation.

I’m definitely not hard to please but this place is nasty. Gentleman checking me in was a very nice guy. The room was scary. The hallway was nasty. Paint filled on the floor. There is a young lady who works at the front desk who has a beautiful attitude and great customer service. She’s very professional and personable. On 12/21/25 before 1pm local time, I checked out of my room. My initial paid thru date is 12/22/25. It seems that I’ve been charged for a day that was not completed.

Lighting very very dim. Needed to use the sofa hide-a-bed. It was filthy. Where do I stop? Nowhere does it state that the office closes at midnight. We arrived at 12:01 after a flight delay. Office was locked. There was a sign outside to use the phone in a box to contact the office but there was no phone. I called the office from my phone and just got hold music. Texted the number and two days later still have not heard back. No refunds available.

Beggers can't be choosy but coming from someone who has been in the military, this was one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed at. Let management know about the cleanliness of the room and they seemed shock. Sent somebody to clean the bathroom and they even apologized. Provided me with some new bedding and it was even dirty. I left in the middle of the night.

It was definitely rundown. -Dust and grime on top of the fridge -Fridge inside wasn’t wiped down -Burn mark on the floor -Hole in the wall from where a stove once was that wasn’t covered -Carpet remnant on a wall corner was sticking out including a piece of metal that’s used to secure it -Padding cover underneath chair was coming out and just hanging out -Security latch to door was broken -Rusty shower curtain rod -Bathtub sealant was moldy -Some of the linen was stained -From the outside, overflowing trash, cigarette butts everywhere -Shrubs and landscaping not maintained I’m surprised that this is on Expedia’s list of hotel options. I booked through Expedia and had a confirmed reservation, but upon arrival after an 8-hour drive, the front desk informed me it was canceled—which was not true. I was then asked to pay more, only to be given a dirty room with roaches and unclean towels, later switched to another poor room. The whole process took 1.5 hours late at night, and I’m still unsure who will refund the extra amount I paid

Is not the health department review this hotel yet and I wonder why it is allowed to be open. Seriously this building is health risk. I had booked for theee nights but checked out the next day early morning but they never refunded me one full night refund despite me giving notice I had chase down the front desk staff even at 8:40am.

Upon arrival the first thing I noticed was the overflowing trash can beside the front door which looked as if it had not been emptied in a few days. The front desk attendant, April, was very rude. I was told that she didn't have my reservation, yet when I looked over the top of the desk I was able to spot my name immediately. The Delux room that I had reserved and pre-paid was not available. No mention of any type of refund. I asked for 2 keys, she rudely told me she didn't have enough keys and only gave me 1. I went to the room assigned. Upon opening the door I was blasted with the smell of cat urine. I returned to the desk, April was not very helpful. Luckily a gentleman was there, apologized he found another room which he took me to see before I accepted. It smelled better although the floor was dirty as if it had not been vaccumed. When we made it back to the front desk, April was no where to be seen. She had already left. I can not recommend this location.

The place is currently being renovated but I doubt it will help. The place is filthy. No dumpster for all their trash and it’s just dumped outside. The bathroom toilet was a pain to flush. We had to go to the front desk (which is currently in the employee area) to fill up our own toilet paper. Bring your own bedding!!!! Thankfully our trip was packed with activities so we weren’t there much.

The front lobby was under construction but it was poorly roped off. No one was up front when I arrived. I couldn’t find anyone to check us on. I had to call the hotel for someone to come check me in, only to be greeted by a gentleman wearing a plain white shirt and sagging pants. He had nothing on to even signify he was an employee. He was able to get us checked in but our room was disgusting. Had we not been exhausted, we would have refused. The room smelled like cat urine. The carpet had numerous large stains and gum stuck in it in several spots. The refrigerator door would not stay closed. There was dirt piled up on the floor around the side of the couch. All of the cabinetry in the bathroom was water damaged and falling apart. The towel rack was hanging down with random screws sporadically placed to keep it up.

The front lobby was under construction but it was poorly roped off. No one was up front when I arrived. I couldn’t find anyone to check us on. I had to call the hotel for someone to come check me in, only to be greeted by a gentleman wearing a plain white shirt and sagging pants. He had nothing on to even signify he was an employee. He was able to get us checked in but our room was disgusting. Had we not been exhausted, we would have refused. The room smelled like cat urine. The carpet had numerous large stains and gum stuck in it in several spots. The refrigerator door would not stay closed. There was dirt piled up on the floor around the side of the couch. The Hotel was dark'poor lighting! The whole building from the time I walked in until the I git up stairs to my room. It smelled light WEED! A lady is walking her pitbull down the hallway and barking at me nonstop! It was so bad i got my family and just went across town and got a room at another hotel!

We attempted to stay here during the Cary snowstorm of 2025. Upon arriving at the property, we met another couple who had been ghosted by the front desk person who had fled due to the snow. Calls to corporate were unfruitful and we even called the Cary police for help. Ultimately, we went elsewhere for our stay and when we called the following day to inquire what happened, the front desk person was VERY defensive. I would encourage you not to stay here, rain or shine -- they do NOT deliver. Pay a little more to go somewhere else; you won't regret it.

Disgusting and disappointing! Also within 10 mins of being in our first room a mirror fall that wasn’t properly mounted fell off the wall and broke while a child was in the room. The lady was nice enough to get us a new room which was more dirty than the first one unfortunately!

There was no breakfast. And the place was not as expected . The stove and microwave was rusty as hell. I don’t know I think I got the worst room. Even the linen didn’t look so clean.i’m sorry I didn’t took any photos.

Never in my life have I seen a more disgusting hotel room. We had to leave first thing in the morning to find a new hotel. They would not even issues me a refund. I booked 3 rooms with no help from Expedia .

Certainly a cheap place to sleep and shower. It was very clean but very out-dated and well-worn, more like a hostel. The bed was very comfortable.

Did not get to stay The fact that I was able to book a room but when I tried to check by on the clerk told me that the building was at full capacity.

No hair dryer in my room, I talked to the staff, was sliding her phone Rarely raise her head to look me while our conversation. She wanted me come back to get the hair dryer later. At the end, I didn't get one , due to she can't find any hair dryers. It was a pain for my family, when we can't wash our hair because can't stand in wet hair to sleep, so we hated not have cleaned hair for the night and next day. We have a sofa bed for one of my family, when I left up the sofa bed handle, immediately saw the dirty bed and mold on the mattress, that explains the smell came from. I should asking for change room, but I didn't. For the price, and only one night, I only asked bed sheets. I really should asked for changing room. Next morning at 8am, there was no one at desk, only a note says using the outside phone to call #0. There was no one answer that calling for 5 minutes. I can't check out while I was late for our schedule. 8:45, a housekeeper saw me, but isn't her job to check out for me, she left a note for me to prove. No breakfast shows on the table. Terrible experience.

When the cops came, I showed them the pictures and they asked me to reach out to the Extended Suites higher management, which I am hoping this review will do. This was a horrible and traumatizing experience to me and my family and we are still recovering from it.

Horrible facility. Front desk and lobby in need of repairs, update furniture, desks, walls and over all filthy surroundings. That was before entering room. The room was even worse. I took pictures and will attempt to upload them.

Nothing. From the tall grass leading into the place. Smoke smell walking through the door. No soap in bathroom. Did have clean looking towels. Carpet stains. I went out and bought disinfectants spray for the beds and wipes for everything else. I can’t believe I forgot mine. It was a place to lay our head after the event. We didn’t even bathe in the shower the tub was so stained Clorox didn’t even clean the tub. I bought a gallon to sanitize hoping to be able to shower. Bathed the important parts next am and left. And the take and go breakfast was a joke. We didn’t take but we went. I think if corporate saw this they would close the doors. it needs major renovations. And a deep cleaning. If extended stay means cigarette butts laying by the dozens by the doors, these people need to stay somewhere else.

We used the call box outside to call the hotel and were told by someone offsite that they could not help us and just to wait for someone to show up. Finally, the front desk attendant arrived with some fast food she had left to obtain. Not totally her fault as she should have had backup. The whole place smelled like weed. We killed three roaches within the first five minutes in our room. The shower/tub had black stains in it and we decided to go without showering as it would likely make us dirtier. We left for a show and came back. None of our cards worked on the front door, and we had to use the callbox again to find someone to let us in. We were told (for the first time) that we had to enter through a side door. We went upstairs and none of our keys worked on the door the first 3 or four times. One finally worked, but the others didn't. A few of us slept on top of the covers in fear of bed bugs. The carpet was heavily stained and none of us removed our socks the whole time we were there. I will say all three of the staff members we encountered were extremely pleasant, friendly, sweet and helpful. Not their fault that the place is kind of a dump. Most definitely would not stay here again. Felt nasty and somewhat unsafe.

The staff was nice during check in and location worked for what I needed. Where do I begin? I’m an avid traveler, so I didn’t let all the negative reviews deter me…I have fairly low expectations when it comes to hotels, but wow. This place was FILTHY. So filthy. The room smelled of cigarettes and mold. The bed skirt was moldy. Everything I touched was grimy. I accidentally stepped on the carpet barefoot. It was moist, the room was humid. The room’s alarm clock went off at 4:32 AM…then again at 4:41am. The mattress: 0/10. My airplane seat is more comfortable to sleep on. I am 29 years old but I woke up feeling 77…please do yourself a favor and go to the hotel across the street. It is absolutely worth the additional cost.

The carpet was badly stained and even thought it is not a no smoking hotel you can smell that it hasn't always been that way. But, the sheets, the bathroom, and the kitchenette was clean and there was no sign of bugs, which I have experienced at other hotels in the area. We got a room with 2 double beds and a pull out couch to be able to accommodate 2 adults and 3 kids. When we pulled out the couch it was stained and filthy. Because we had a late check in office was closed and nothing could be done. We currently have 3 kids in a double bed. My impression from when we booked was that the room would be more modern but things seem run down. It also smells like smoke outside even though there are tons of signs that say not to smoke. Just not what we expected.

At 3:40pm the front desk wasnt there. We had to go back outside and call on an outdoor provided phone. There werent any elevators and our room was on the 3rd floor. It says no smoking however every floor snelled strongly of pot. Our bathroom still had trash in it from a previous guest. The sink drain was broken and the toilet wasnt attached to the floor and it wobbled awful. Not sure wgat ut was but there was a thick white film in the tub. I killed 2 cockroachs in the kitchen area. Stains on all furniture, walls and ceiling. A bunch of cuss words were written by one of the beds. I wasnt able to sleep all night because of the filth. When i told the front desk after having to call her again she just said she'd tell maintenance and the manager. No breakfast or coffee provided, not that we wouldve earen it. Lastly for ice we were told they dont have an ice maker but provided were ice trays in the freezer, eewww. I expected more for paying $143 for one night.

This place needs to be shut down, the room smelled like cat urine, the bed had cracker crumbs and pieces in it, the receptionist was too busy making out with her boyfriend in the parking lot to deal with customers. Overall this was hands down the worst experience I've had with any hotel.

We had over 15 bugs we killed in our room the staff couldn’t provide any linens for the sofa bed we paid extra to have the extra bed space and the mattress for the sofa bed was covered in dirt and juice.

This place is a dump. Its dirty and it smells. We took on look at the conditions and checked out after staying for 10 min.

Smoke smell in room and dirty rooms old carpet.

No food for breakfast, front desk absent, toilet base broken, cracks on the wall...

Room and hotel in general needs updating. Carpet had a hole in it. Desk chair was stained. Transition between carpet and kitchen floor was loose. Bathroom fan had dust or mold clogging it. Plaster near tub damaged by water. Room rate was cheap and you could see why. Bed was comfortable though. Was fine for one night stay while in town for hockey game and museum visit.

This is a one star property. I tried to look for positives to give it at least 2 stars, because the stuff was wery friendly but the overal (run down) conditions of the property would not justify higher rating.

The property was old and not maintained. Also the "breakfast" was old granola bars and coffee. I would not recommend this place.

Fair. Not very well up kept. Dirty floor. Cleaned tub before could use it. Toilet need attention no more caulking. No trash can in room.

It was a decent enough place for the price and in a great location but the property is in serious need of updating/remodeling. The actual room did not look like the pictures on the website. For an extended-stay hotel, it was lacking in all amenities...no cookware, no plates, bowls or utensils, no ice machine or trays for the freezer. Every cabinet and drawer was empty. It appeared to be more a home for transient people than a hotel. Pretty noisy with people arguing in rooms and hallways, banging on walls, etc. But $80 per night compared to $400 per night at the hotel across the street made it worth a try.

upon check in the front desk recommended that I park my car outside my room so I can keep an eye on it overnight. the room didn't have a coffee maker, the stove was dirty, and the microwave had rust in it. TV had scratch mark on its screen. Hallway had an order. NEVER AGAIN

There was no sheet/blanket set for the pull out sofa, but even if there had been, we wouldn’t have slept on it. The mattress had mystery stains all over it. The tub also doesn’t drain well so I was stuck standing in water while showering. This is by far the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in and it wasn’t even the cheapest - for $100 plus $25 for the pet fee for just one night, I expected better. I don’t know if they even looked at this room before allowing me inside. Really disappointed in it and won’t be staying here again. My only positive experience was that the woman at the front desk was friendly and helpful as I checked in.

While the majority of the staff was exceptional; the housekeeper on duty the day of check in left much to be desired. Coffee grounds all over the kitchenette floor? We were not informed of no elevator, and it was difficult for my elderly parents to navigate the stairs with luggage. I’m very disappointed. I won’t stay at this chain again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Might be a long post but I have to warn people. We just needed a simple hotel to rest our heads and shower because we would be out and about most our trip. Nothing fancy. When getting a hotel, it shouldn’t matter how cheap it is, it should always be clean and healthy to be in. This place was in face not clean and definitely not safe or healthy to be in. We’re traveling with our 4 months old son so clean is extra crucial. We had a long day of traveling and had issues with our flights that added time so we were beyond exhausted. We got in around 1am went straight to our room and went straight to sleep. They only had stairs, no elevator. Their “included breakfast” is literally oatmeal packets and granola bars. But those aren’t even the issues that made us leave. It wasn’t until the next day and we turned all the lights on and looked around that we realized how bad this place was. It was filthy. We found mold, dog hair, nasty stuff on the wall and around the stove and as we were leaving we saw a roach. I was seriously so freaked out and disgusted. We got a refund on the nights we didn’t stay (even though we should get a full refund) and was able to find an amazing AirBnb for cheaper and it was so so nice and the host was AMAZING. Not only was the hotel disgusting but there were very sketchy people hanging around (even though it’s in an extremely nice area), some of the workers we encountered had an “idc about you” attitude, halls smelled like weed. There was roaches in my room hair was on the stove, I did not like the microwave because it was dirty other then staff and the surrounding vof tje hotel I give them a 5 Because they went the extra mile to make my stay convenient

This property is in dire need for a refurb, Rust on the appliance. Old fixtures. Cockroaches. Smell of Pot in the hallways.

I made big mistake staying at this hotel

The “included breakfast “ was coffee and a granola bar or bag of instant oatmeal. I was also called by the police during my stay as they were evacuating the building or at least part of it because of an unsafe disturbance in progress

This hotel needs to get a facelift. First, the lobby was closed when we arrived shortly after 11 and we tried to call through the phone located outside by dialing "0", then we tried to call the number found online. We were able to get someone who tried to call the person in charge. After about 30min, we were able to get someone to get us our keys. The room I had was in bad shape. There were cockroaches and the kitchen had some missing pieces to it (mostly cosmetic). The linens were not ironed and were quite suspect under UV lights. The bathtub would not drain either. The hotel was noisy, I could hear foot steps, folks flushing m, listening to the TV etc. I have been to other extended stay hotels in the past. This one is bad. Avoid.

First, upon pulling in we found several vandalized vehicles on the property with broken windows, flat tires, one that someone was clearly sleeping in. Management needs to really get that cleaned up. Checkin- the desk attendant would have loved to be anywhere but work. She was less than pleasant and seemed annoyed to have to check us in. Room- We got the keys and went to the room. There are NO dishes, pots, pans, silverware (not even plastic) so the kitchen and the food we brought was pointless the first day. We asked the same front desk attendant for kitchen items as advertised to do on our counter and she told us they didn’t have any. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, carpet is old and hotel does has a order from smoke. Day 2 we spoke to a different front desk clerk, she did get us a few dishes and a pot to make our toddler Mac n chesse. We had a second room that night for my other son and his wife… the gentlemen who checked us into that room was much nicer. That room did not have carpet and was nicer than the One with. There was still a stale smoke smell. Don’t expect cleaning service during your stay. Don’t expect staff to ever be at the desk. You will have to call for them from a phone outside. Don’t expect them to be happy to help.

The hallway smelled of pot, the room stunk musty, the refrigerator was all rust looked like they got it from a scrap yard, the microwave was all rusty and dirty, the toilet when you flushed it would not go down called the front desk and was told by a very ignorant lady that we can go down and get a plunger it wasnt her job and i told her it definitely isn't mine, the mirror had what looked like a bullet hole in it, wasnt able to get a pillow because they did not have any,this hotel is deplorable, disgusting last but not least when we opened the door to go in there was a cockroach on the door. Stay away from this place
