Econo Lodge Cartersville-Emerson Lake Point

We've stayed there multiple times when my son has baseball tournaments at Lake Point and enjoy it. That they charged me a $25.00 early check in fee and that the blow dryer didn't work. It kept tripping the ground fault.

The property was clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable and room quiet. The breakfast was simple, muffin, coffee, etc. Very good for the price. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was cereal and toast with muffins, so not a bad breakfast. Water was super hot in shower! Room was clean. For the price, definitely worth it.

The air conditioner did not work right at 330 in morning we heard people outside laughing and talking loud..

This is an older hotel but the owners seem to be working to keep it updated and landscaped. My room was nice with fresh paint and the bathroom appeared to have been recently remodeled. Overall, the hotel and my room were clean with just a few items that could have been cleaner/detailed — TV remote, desk lamp shade and base (sticky like someone had spilled on it). For some reason, there are old and crusty outlets still in the remodeled bathroom but that may be an update in the works. Air conditioner unit a bit noisy but tolerable. A good stay for the money, especially if you are looking for an economical overnight while traveling.

It was ok~room clean, parking good, staff good, no elevator and no lobby coffee or in room coffee maker. Much much better than the 1st econolodge we stayed at.

Easy access, close to I-75. Quiet, clean, small room, step in shower, hair dryer. Okay for an overnight. Grab & Go breakfast; mini chocolate muffins, juice, instant oatmeal packs, white toast, jam, coffee, cremella, bananas. Reasonable for the going rates these days.

We had to move rooms as the original room had suspect of bed bugs in the first one assigned. The hotel manager was good about it, but also we are not “freak out” people. The next room seemed fine and we placed a towel at the door to prevent any issues. Overall the room was not as clean as expected.

We were traveling and needed a place to stay before continuing on to our next destination. The hotel staff were super nice and the property was very clean. Our only complaint was the AC unit was very loud when kicking on and made it a bit hard to stay asleep. If you are a heavy sleeper, this will probably not bother you. However, I am a light sleeper so it was an issue for me.

I could not use the TV because the remote did not work. The bathroom was clean but towels were very thin. Breakfast was meager.

There is no elevator in this hotel, only stairs. The rooms are old. The entrance seems to have been renovated. Their staff needs help on how to do good customer service.

Hotel was very well kept up in and out. Everything was clean and comfortably and smelled good. Our beds were so comfy & softest sheets! Best short overnight ever.

Check in was ok. The place did not look like the picture online. Thought we’d give it a try because we’d already paid. Got to room, it smelled bad like mold, our kids could reach the window. The window would not lock. Constant construction in the room next door. The room itself was gross enough to leave. The whole place gave off creepy vibes. We decided to leave and take the small loss of what we paid.

Our room was on the 3rd floor and no elevator. We had to carry several heavy suitcases up and down stairs. The floor was covered in water where the room refrigerator had frozen then thawed.

Overall will not be staying at another Econ Lodge. Very uncomfortable stay.

The room that we were in was good, comfortable, and quiet. What I didn't particularly like is that our room was below street level. This made the room seem less that cheery and bright. This is our second visit to this hotel and we were on the same hall, below street level. Is it because we have a miniature dauchound. For these reasons I cannot give a 5 star rating.

Very basic hotel. Arrived late and was exhausted- room was on the 3rd floor and there was NO ELEVATOR! Towels were like course sandpaper! Bed clothes were very old and worn. Carpets are old and worn. The breakfast consisted of cereal, milk, toast & muffins. Yougart would have been a good addition. Probably would not stay at an Econo Lodge again.

Absolutely terrible. No elevator, even first floor is downstairs .. not for handicapped individuals. Breakfast consisted of cold cereal, juice machine broken, coffee, white bread or raisin bread , bananas, and mini muffins. The end. Bed bug bites all over my body. The guy who checked me in was just rude. Will not stay here again. Will not let me add photos of the bites.

On our way to another further destination and needed a place to sleep for the night. It definitely served its purpose. Not too fancy and is an older hotel but it was pretty clean.

I think Ernest Tubb had the room above us because he was walking with his boots on most of the night. TV remote would only play one Spanish channel.

The queen bed was very comfortable. We arrived around 9pm, so it was just a place for a night's sleep. The nighttime clerk wouldn't have eye contact and was not pleasant all. Morning clerk was personable and friendly. Breakfast was limited...pre-packaged muffin, banana, instant oatmeal..there may have been a few other basic items.

Staff was very kind. It was clean around the property and well lit in the parking lot. Oatmeal, cereal, toast, muffins and bananas for breakfast with coffee and/or juice. Saw mold on ceiling and around the tub drain. Room had an odor. Not a five star but decent for the cost of the room.

M.J. nighttime front desk clerk was just a real JOY to deal with!!! So much so he felt it necessary to call the room just as I was walking into the room to ask me to straighten my car up . I had gotten a little crooked but was still in the white line. Idk maybe he was bored. Just watch how fast he is

Very nice. Cane in later in the evening, we all just went right to sleep. Extra soft beds kids loved it. Breakfast was cereal, muffins, toast, bananas and oatmeal. Coffee was empty, I asked the gentleman to make more and for cereal milk. He obliged. Their juice machine was not working but they did have pineapple juice in the milk fridge. Shower was nice and hot. In and out.

I booked one night with Econolodge and it was clean but the air had not been turned on prior to checking in and it took forever to get my room cooled down. I have booked another couple of nights with Econolodge and I will more than likely find somewhere else to stay.

This was the cleanest Econolodge I have ever had the pleasure of staying at! Room was spotless. The staff were attentive and polite. They were professional, prompt, and kept everything to a strict schedule/high standard. It was such a relief to see them test and treat the pool daily from our window. It truly made me comfortable letting my son use the pool. Will definitely stay here again if we ever get to come back to Lake Pointe!
