This stay was OK. We have stay at this hotel on many occasions and I feel it is time to maybe do some renovations.

Overall good stay, breakfast was good and kept full. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. This was not our first stay , whenever we come back to LA we will stay here again Front desk staff can try smiling a little, elevator carpet needs to be cleaned

This delayed my ability to resolve the complaint and created unnecessary stress during an already urgent situation. I understand that hotels may have policies regarding room access, but disabling our keys without prior notice felt inappropriate and unprofessional. I was actively trying to do my part to address the concern, and this action only made the situation more difficult. I would appreciate an explanation as to why our keys were blocked and why we were not informed beforehand but when I asked the receptionist said she didn’t why.

Staff were very friendly, and the Security Guard was great about watching us all enter the building

The location was close to where I need to be. Dated and dirty carpet, there was a cluster of someone else’s hair in my blanket, the wall light switches were dirty.

I liked that it wasn’t too far from the freeway decent places to eat and the venue that I was attending over was just a short distance away so in a convenient location. I felt like it was a little false advertisement the pictures online the facility looked nothing like it needs a lot of updating and because of that the price per night should’ve been a bit cheaper for what you get

Staff were not very observant of guests needs. Cleaning carts were left in middle of hallway to where no one could get by. Staff had to be located for needs at breakfast bar and lobby restrooms

The front desk guy was extremely rude. Was not welcoming and no friendly and didn’t even bother engaging with us as we checked in with him. We asked for towels and he told us to walk into the house keeping room to grab them ourselves and when we went the lady who was doing the laundry mugged us and just gave us a death stare without even saying anything. Extremely unsatisfied with how unfriendly and unpleasant these staff members were. Do better Hampton inn.

The room was clean and comfortable. The clean, white bedding was a BIG plus for me. The daily breakfasts were nice. My only issue was the TV remote control. It would only work if it was really close to the TV. I informed the staff & maybe the batteries were changed but still had the same issue.

Was only there for a day so couldn't enjoy all of the amenities. The young lady at the front desk helped us check our luggage in early so we could explore LA so that was helpful.

I also took photos and video footage of this awful, God forsaken, deplorable room. Roaches were on the nightstand by the phone, the bathroom mirror, and under the bathroom sink crawling along the baseboard. I’ve stayed here before several times over the past four years and I have never experienced roaches or gnats in the guest rooms. I’ve stayed for the convenience and the rooms used to be decent enough for a quick overnight stay. The manager ended up refunding me a one nights stay but going forward, I will no longer stay here. When comparing the guest rooms at this specific Hampton Inn to other hotels on the same caliber/level, the rooms at this location are quite dated and could definitely use some refurbishing and upgrades, so it’s not surprising that pests would be attracted to this kind of environment. The carpet is extremely old, worn, and needs to be pulled up, the towels are dingy and have stains on them, the window shades are not working optimally, and the elevators have various odd smells that definitely are not fresh. I’m a Marriott BonVoy member, so I will just go back to them because the rooms and the guest experience are always top notch.

This hotel is definitely worth staying at. The customer service was top notch didn't miss a beat. Our room was spacious and very clean. We will definitely stay here next time we go to Los Angeles.

Overall maintenance and cleanliness were lacking, and the staff seemed to lack basic service standards and hospitality. I usually trust the Hampton Inn brand, which is why I booked this stay, but this was by far my worst experience. For the price, it was not worth it at all — I regret not paying $20 more to stay somewhere nicer nearby. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I’m writing this to help other travelers make informed decisions. I sincerely hope the hotel reflects on this feedback and makes meaningful improvements.

The room was not clean and smelled off and on of feces. The toilet overflowed and water ran fron the restroom to the carpet. Maintenance came and unclogged to toilet and put down old cloth towels to soak up the water. Maintenance mopped and when he left it smelled. I used the cleaning supplies i brought to santize. The remote did not work and i was told to bring it to the front desk which i did not do. The shower had hair in it and i have photos of everything. Not like other Hampton Inns. Poor service and not so clean room. Carpet was old and the mattress was not good. It was not a good stay for the price, the service, and the quality.

Hotel is right by the highway. Lots of road noise all hours of the day and night. The other side of hotel is off a busy road so no matter which side your room is on there will be lots of road noise.

My room was clean, which I appreciated. However, my experience with the front desk was very disappointing. I arrived earlier than expected due to transportation and politely asked if early check-in was available. The receptionist had a very nasty attitude, did not ask for my name or reservation information, and did not check availability. After leaving, I called the front desk and received the same poor attitude; this time I was asked for my reservation information and was simply told nothing was available. I returned around 2:00 PM and had to wait in the hot parking lot until the 3:00 PM check-in time. The lack of courtesy and willingness to assist significantly impacted my experience.

The staff was okay, but not overly friendly. The building, both inside and outside, was more worn than I expected. The room was comfortable, but not overly clean. We found a plastic knive on the floor and the shampoo bottle was empty in the shower.

Mattress needs to be updated it was sagging, lumps not enough support woke up with back pain.

Rug in room seemed damp when walking with just socks or barefoot. Bathroom floor seemed sticky. Breakfast was well prepared and area kept up. Overall we had a good experience. Would definitely consider staying here in the future.

I noticed that there was no clock in the room. Normally there is a clock to glance at when getting ready. I consistently had to look at my phone. Also, the remote control for the TV or the TV did not pull up hotel services to check out though it claimed that was an option on the TV. Overall, the people were nice. The room was also a little noisy because of the freeway. The curtains didn't block much of the noise because it did not go all the way down.

Pleasant stay for 2 nights. Clean room. Plenty of parking. The bed was so comfy! We both slept great both nights. From here we rented a VRBO. We only wished the VRBO bed was as comfy as in this hotel. 😊

The hotel was okay. I felt being part of the Hilton Company the complimentary cups would have been glassware, not paper. The room could have better lighting, and the pillows were queen size for the king size bed. They really didn’t fit.

The woman at the Front desk clearly did not like her job. All the charm of a garden gnome. Maybe she was just having a bad day. Room smelled funky. Carpets a little gross. Which is sad bc this place used to be ok.

The room smelled so bad the entire stay & there were bugs in the bathroom. This made us not want to full relax into our room or even eat there.

While your staff did move them to another room, the way the situation was handled afterward was even more disappointing. When I addressed the issue of being charged for a night in which they had to endure an ant infestation, the front desk attendant (Monica or Maria) very rudely dismissed the concern, stating—and I quote—“we all have an ant problem.” Not only was this an unprofessional and insensitive response, but it also demonstrated a complete lack of care for guest comfort and safety. This experience has left me with no confidence in your hotel’s standards of cleanliness or customer service. I will not have my family stay here again when they visit, nor will I recommend your property to anyone. I strongly encourage you to address both the pest control issues and the customer service training of your staff. Guests deserve respect and a clean, safe environment when staying at a hotel.

The continental breakfast was top-rate. Customer service and friendliness of the staff was great. The bed linen did smell of chemicals. There were rust marks in the bathroom around fixtures and I saw more than one small bug crawling on the wall

This is where I stay the majority of my visits to California. I feel comfortable and safe there. It’s easy access to the major freeways as well.

The room was excellent for the 2 nights we were their I over all had a great stay just if the people working would be more friendly 🙄 the security guard that was at the entrance Sunday July 20th 2025 just plain rude we showed up and said hello and he completely ignored me and my husband then we went out for dinner and I said bye and again once again ignored when he clearly made eye contact my husband even said why say hi or bye if he’s ignoring you… receptionist Saturday night was also not the best I just ignored him I definitely won’t be staying here again time to give another hotel a chance I guess unless these employees learn some courtesy and At least respond a hello or good bye

While waiting you could see the leather stools had rips/white fray on the edges plus scratches the legs. Disappointed because its a "Hilton Hotel" plus called "Hampton" only got worse. The Hallway carpets are old, dark and dingy plus not laying straight. The wall paper or covering are peeling back at the seems both rooms - pretty obvious and if you look at the walls seems its pretty bad finish work. Both desk were flimsy, as if it break if literally used it for work projects (laptop, files, books) yet okay to hold snacks and drinks. Both desk chairs felt if it was bought at 2nd Hand Auction. Then my room key (317) was intermitently working to the point, rekeyed 3/4 times which eventually them changed battery in door

I like that they tried to serve eggs different ways in continental breakfast. I didn't like they only had two towels in bathroom but provided xtra ones happily when requested. All house keepers were very friendly and provided what needed right away.

The room was clean enjoyed the coffee setup and the breakfast downstairs was great. I will be going back there again

Our room was horrible. The pillows were yellow. The carpet didn’t feel like carpet, it was hard and REALLY dirty! The fridge smelled like something was in there for weeks. TV was glitching. Room service wouldn’t clean our room and when they did they just laid the comforter back over but nothing was neatly done and the floor was still left dirty. Bed sheets were stained. Everything was left dusty and with hand prints all over windows. The bathroom SMELLED so bad. The only clean thing was the towels to dry with after a shower. Only positive thing was how great the breakfast was.

We always stay here when we come visit family. It's close by family, breakfast is included for all 4 of us, it's quiet and comfortable.

The hotel met all our needs for the one day stay. Maria the front desk representative was so awesome. I had many different questions the day before we traveled about about check-in and payment. She was so wonderful getting me the forms I needed to pre-pay so my older son and his wife could check in earlier than us, since they would be arriving before the other family would. We enjoyed the hotel the accommodations, the rooms were great, breakfast in the morning was perfect for our family of eight. Great hotel and would highly recommend it.

I stay in the hotel, because was pretty close to the event that I wanted to attend.

Overall, room was clean and comfortable. A/C and refrigerator worked good. However, upon arriving a little early at 1:30, was rudely told check in was at 3pm and no exceptions. Instead of "I'm so sorry, we don't have any clean rooms available for you yet", the girl at front desk says with a bad attitude, not until 3! So at 3:00 a lobby full of people lined up to all sign in at same time. We waited in line for 30 minutes to check in as they only had one attendent at front desk. We have never had this experience ever at any hotel stays. Will never stay at this hotel again! Customers are not treated with respect or courtesy at this hotel.

I was really impressed overall with the property. One of the things I liked the most was the presence of uniformed security. I will definitely be returning to the property when work requires me to be in the area.

Property is old and needs renovation. Rooms are very compact and AC was loud. Door had a bad battery so we couldn't get in with key and had to go to service desk for getting key card checked. Digital key didnt work either and staff said the battery was dead so they had to reset the battery for our key to work.

Good breakfast and pool area. Nothing fancy but did the job of providing a place to sleep and eat. Located close to freeway. Can invest in window to not heat the freeway noise. But would recommend this place to a friend

We had "no disturb" sign until about 1pm or so and removed the sign and left the rooom. Room was not cleaned that day and no towels were replaced. I got the set of towels from the front desk. Bath room mirror looked pretty bad shape (surface partially blackened). I sense the property is old.

The stay was good, my only complaint is the bed isn't as comfortable as they normally are and the pillows seemed a lot smaller. Suggestion, if you are going to continue with the small pillows add more.

The staff was okay, check in was fine, check out the gal was on her cell phone and I had to ask if I needed to do anything or just drop my key cards in the basket. The room had a weird smell, but otherwise we slept like babies.

It was an okay stay. The room had a very strong cigarette smell, which is weird since smoking indoors is normally prohibited in California. The bed was comfortable, parking was free and there was breakfast provided. Okay for a one night stay.
