    Kristine and Thalia at the front desk were excellent. Had some phone conversations with other staff prior to our arrival that I was not impressed with. When I rate a hotel the items that affect the score the most are Bed, cooling system, and odor or lack there of. The bed for me was a deal breaker for us as it was uncomfortable. Did not sleep good at all after a 6 hour trip.

    Smoking area with too close to the entrance. There was animal Hair left on the carpet in our room. the shower seem to be a little outdated. my son received two bites on his leg overnight not sure what that was.

    Unique that it had a restaurant and a Sports bar. Both of which served good food. Bartender was extremely nice. Front desk helpful. Never waited longer than 3 min. For an Uber.

    The location is nice and the hotel itself is nice. I cannot believe you charge for parking each night. In fact, I am shocked you charge for parking at all. This facility has a bar/club, and parking is horrible at night because all the people at the bar have the close up well lighted parking spaces. That is not right in my opinion to have your overnight guest park so far away. I have informed everyone I know about this money grabbing new practice at this hotel. Needless to say, my corporation will not be using your facility in the future.

    Room was fine. No complementary bottled water though. The elevators looked dirty and beat up. When we first walked in, a lot shady looking people around. They had given our room away due to overbooking but the front desk lady found a way to get us 2 beds. Location was good though. Close to Starbucks & other stores.

    First issue: Lack of housekeeping During my four-night stay, housekeeping was skipped on two separate days. The room was not cleaned, towels were not replaced, and no explanation or compensation was provided. This is far below the standard expected from a Hilton-branded hotel. Second and most serious issue: Misleading information regarding refund Due to a severe snowstorm, the airline officially advised us to end our trip one day early. Before checking out early, I confirmed twice with the front desk whether the last night would be refunded due to weather-related circumstances. Both times, the front desk staff clearly confirmed that the last night would be refunded, explaining only that since the booking was made through Expedia, the hotel could not issue the refund directly and that Expedia would need to process it. However, when Expedia contacted the hotel multiple times to request the refund, the hotel rejected the request each time. In the end, the hotel did not refund anything. Instead, Expedia partially refunded the last night at their own expense. This means: • The front desk’s confirmation was not honored • The hotel provided inconsistent information between the guest and the booking platform • Responsibility was shifted to Expedia rather than being handled by the hotel itself This is not just a service issue — it is a matter of trust and accountability.

    Everyone was kind and helpful. The elevator was a little dirty looking but our room was clean and quiet. It was walking distance to Ralph’s and a really great taco place too. The breakfast buffet was decent. It was just a one night stay before our cruise but it was just what we needed. For a family of 4.

    We had a problem paying $15 a day to park our rental car which we weren’t told about until we got there. This was the first time we were charged this and that was expensive!!!!     Another downside: breakfast wasn’t included. For the price of the stay, I really expected at least a simple breakfast option. Overall, the staff were polite and responsive when I reached out, but the lack of housekeeping and no included breakfast made the stay less comfortable than it should’ve been.     No issues, clean room and bathroom. My stay went flawless. Check-out was just as smooth. The bar was laid back and I watched an NBA game with an adult beverage. They had more than enough TVs to watch from any table. Good vibe. Waiter greeted me upon entering, gave a menu, I ordered, watched the game, paid, and tipped. Great service.

    The breakfast buffet was very expensive. The bar had a varied menu and the food was ok. Excellent lemon drop. Very little to do in the area and no shuttle to cruise port which I booked the hotel thinking they did a shuttle to the cruise port. They do not and have not for several years they told me.

    while i enjoyed my stay. the staff was very courteous and helpful. I did get my cookie and check in. the down side for me was the bathroom floor and tub. there was hair on the floor and tub. The carpet was wet near the air conditioner. They did come and check out AC unit and dried the carpet. Since I travel with gloves and cleaning supplies I cleaned the bathroom. Don't know if I would stay there again for the price the rooms could be a little more updated.

    The room was spacious for the 2 of us traveling. AC worked amazing! The bed was good. Just finished a 600 mile trip so any bed would have worked. Linens were very clean and even smelled clean. Only issue we had with the room was the bathtub drained very very slow. But the shower worked perfectly fine. Wwernkt asked we were Hilton Honors member and was still charged the parking fee.

    It was nice walking into the hotel but the "gold" elevators weren't shiny & bright. Visible scratches/smudges. The button trying to go down on my floor wasn't visible so nobody can tell if the button is working or activated. The pool area wasn't cleaned. Used it later in the evening with no other guests occupying it and there was pitchers of beer and cups around the Jacuzzi and towels all over lounging chairs and floor. It was like this both nights I stayed. The gym has nice equipment but there were no wipes in the tub for it. Overall, next time I'd stay elsewhere even if it isn't as convenient as this one, which is right off the freeway. It's location is in a convenient spot with outside amenities like shopping center that has Starbucks right across the street and McDonald's not too far. I can't vouch for the restaurant on site but it was pretty busy throughout the day compared to other places I've stayed. Overly priced for a Continental buffet breakfast IMO. Cookies were good, no nutfree option.

    I called hours after 3pm to let staff know that I will be checking in late because I was attending a viewing. If I can remember correctly, I believe the name of the staff member is Christine. She ensured me that it was ok to check late and that she would make a note of it. When I arrived, the gentleman at the counter acknowledged and assisted me as soon as he was able to. He offered the Welcome Cookies and was able to give me a room on the second floor as I requested something close to the first floor. To my surprise, I was given a room that was directly steps away from the elevators. Definitely, convenient for my elderly parents. I also went down to request for additional towels in the morning and a different gentleman at the counter kindly went to get me towels. Overall, the staff that I've encountered during this stay were amazing and kind!!! Aside for the fact that its the closest hotel to family, the staff is the reason why I have made another reservation. So, thank you so much for kind hospitality. My parents and I appreciate you.

    The hotel was convenient and our event location in Long Beach. Staff was great, beds are comfy. The pool was heated and the jacuzzi was nice. The hotel was very busy, need a few more luggage carts. Overall great hotel and location.

    Had to switch room because toilet kept clogging and shower drain was not working at rm533. I love that the beds have a bed bug covering does not make plastic noise. Dog friendly all around. Maybe offer some dog pee pads at the lobby.

    The staff were so amazing, my flight was delayed, cancelled and I was transferred to a much later flight and they were so kind to help us out with a late check-in, water and we felt safe here. Everyone was so kind, and it was a busy festival weekend.

    The evening after I checked in I went to tale a shower and noticed the shower had some hairs in it. I figured no biggie can just rinse then down the drain with water before I get in, so I did. Then as I was washing out my shampoo I noticed the shower wasn't training properly and stuff from the drain was actually coming up and I was then bathing in it. I frantically got out and contacted the front desk. They told me they could make an appointment with house keeping but it would take a few hours. I explained to them I was mid shower and hadn't even been able to finish and needed a working shower immediately because I had somewhere I needed to be. She said ahe would send someone right then - which never happened. I had to contact 3 different staff members to finally get someone to fix the issue so I could resume my shower and getting ready. The staff was less then helpful and no one seemed concerned regarding the situation and it was over all very frustrating. They offered me breakfast the next day, but I was literally bathing in what I can only imagine was pubic hair. It was honestly quite traumatizing and I will never be staying here. Also the bathroom didn't get cleaned before we got there and there was red marks on the ac unit that literally looked like blood. If all of long beach wasn't booked I would have checked out early. I truly think they need a health inspection because it was diabolical.

    I gave this hotel 4 out of 5 stars. Overall, our stay was pleasant, but there were a few issues that kept it from being perfect. Housekeeping forgot to leave extra toilet paper, and we were left with less than half a roll. The carpet in room 303 had a sticky red spot near the desk, which was unpleasant to step on. Additionally, we only had two sets of towels for four guests, which was inconvenient. Despite these minor setbacks, the rest of the stay was comfortable and the staff was friendly. With a bit more attention to detail, this could have easily been a 5-star experience.

    Our stay was okay. The check in process took a long while and only one staff member was available for check in. The in room safe did not work and shower would work one day and then not work the next day. When we walked out of the elevator to our floor, there was a smell. The lotion dispenser in the restroom was out. It's safe to say we will not return to this hotel.

    Walked in to our room and had bathroom issues to begin with. Toilet not flushing, requested a new room as I didn't want to run into any more issues. Was told they were out (weird as I had just booked and was told there were 8 available). Was there for the night didn't feel like I needed to argue, I just asked what would they recommend in this case. Someone came by while I was out, upon my return. I asked the man at the reception area if they he knew if the toilet was fixed and he said "how would I know" super rude, not helpful didn't care. Next day, at check-out there was no record of me being in my room as I was listed in a different room. Make it make sense, never going back. I don't recommend this place to anyone.

    "I stumbled upon this hidden gem while visiting town for a baseball tournament. Its convenient location just off the 405 made it easily accessible. The surrounding area offers plenty of shopping, dining, and grocery options, including a nearby Ralph's. During our visit, parking in front filled up quickly, but the attached lot provided ample space – although daytime parking was a breeze, nighttime might be a different story. The breakfast buffet was satisfactory, and the staff was friendly. Overall, I'd definitely consider staying here again."

    It was great! 3 mile proximity to Galaxy Stadium was convenient for walking or for a $15 Uber ride including tip. Our room was quiet with good room-darkening blinds and a quiet HVAC system. It was very clean and I was surprised to have daily maid service. Bar had good happy hour prices and great service. Front desk was very welcoming and helpful. I will stay here again

    Double tree is a great place to stay, had trouble getting in the key card wasn’t working, turns out it was the door. Notified maintenance that arrived within minutes, fixed the problem was back in my room within 10-15 minutes. We stayed there for 5 days, no more door problems after that. Oir stay there was excellent will definitely stay there again
