I really enjoyed the location. It’s wonderfully placed - about a 7–8 minute walk to Batu Bolong (Badubalong) Beach, and just 9–10 minutes to Echo Beach. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, and warungs around, so you’re never stuck for food or a casual bite. The vibe is kind of like a “tropical Los Angeles” - when you step out, there’s lots of energy: motorbikes buzzing, people walking, some noise (in a good way), street life. But the magic is that whenever you want calm, you just retreat back to the hotel. By the pool, you hear birds, palms, and it’s peaceful even though you are close to everything. For value, this place is excellent. Definitely not luxury deluxe, so don’t expect the top‐end amenities. But for what you get, it’s more than fair. There were a few hiccups: the toilet in my room broke three separate times, but every time I reported it, it was fixed the next day. When I asked for room cleaning, the staff was prompt - just tell them, and they will come. Everyone was very friendly. I also saw a couple of lizards, and I admit I was a bit startled at first - but I understand traveling to Bali means encountering new things, and that’s okay.

The Location was pretty good, in the main Canggu Streets and great value for money. The Room had a very strange damp smell always coming from the washroom. The floors were not clean, the lighting in the room was very dim and no room/bathroom accessory was provided. I had trouble sleeping due to the smell.

Staff friendly and location, near to main area of Canggu. Communal kitchen a nice idea although could do with a clean more often. Pool looked clean although we never had time to use. Lovely street dogs near to property. They will bark at you but are actually ok so please don’t be scarred. WiFi very good. Reception shop handy. Bathroom smelly (urine smell) which I guess came from the sewage pipes etc. Also not really clean, especially the toilet brush which was discusting. Toilet bowl and seat loose and in need of repair. Room very old and in need of update / modernization. No room service in three night stay. Main path to property very muddy and dark. Reception closed at 10pm with no one around after and one night we were disturbed by a guest asking how he could check in.
