few mins walk to the nearest beach for sunset. The neighbourhood was even safe to walk at night alone :) but again i went during to monsoon season so always carry along mosquito and insect repellents :(

Masmara Pererenan Bali is a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Very helpfull staff ? Lovely rooms by the pool, great atmosphere, and a perfect spot close to Pererenan beach. I’ve been coming back here year after year and always enjoy my stay.

The beach are very dirty so i did not enjoy the water too much !

Breakfast was very good, enjoyed how complete it was. Fresh fruit, a drink, amazing coffee and good main choices. Very nice! Paying extra for alternativem milk was a bit extreme. When you charge twice as much as a regular Australian shop, you missed the point. For all the money we spent, you could've thrown in $5 worth of alternative milk choices. The place was pricey though, so don't count on a full restaurant. Right next door was very busy, this place was empty.

We had a lovely stay at Masmara Canggu. The atmosphere is peaceful, the design is minimal yet stylish, and the location is perfect just a short walk to the beach and many good cafes. The staff were friendly, responsive, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Our suite was beautifully decorated and very spacious, making it perfect for relaxing after a long day. The only thing to note is that the suite we booked had just one bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient at times for a group. Other than that, everything was great. Would definitely recommend it for couples or small families looking for a calm and tasteful place to stay in Canggu. The suite we booked had only one bathroom, which wasn’t ideal for a group. It would’ve been more comfortable with an extra bathroom, especially given the size of the space.

A much recommended stay for a family. Our family of 4 stayed in 2 adjoining rooms, They have a comfortable pool to laze in. The highlight is the closeness to Pererenan beach.

We had a lovely stay at Masmara. The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to help you during your stay, they are so friendly and attentive. Shout out to Pandy who was so warm and bubbly. The room was spacious but could do with some new paint, some of the walls are a little done and mouldy. The bed was firm which wasn’t the most comfortable by the end of the stay. The pool looks much bigger in the pictures and there are only about 6-7 sun loungers. This wasn’t an issue for us as it was usually quiet but could be if the hotel has more guests in peak season. Lots of lovely restaurants around and a 2 minute walk to the beach.

Lovely little resort close to Pererenan beach. Rooms are huge and beautifully appointed. Staff is exceptional. Restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is delicious and well presented.

We stayed at Masmara Resort Canggu for 2 nights, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The rooms were nice and spacious, offering plenty of comfort. However, for a two-bedroom property, it would have been really helpful to have an ironing board and iron available. If you're booking this resort hoping for beach access, be aware that there isn’t a beautiful beach nearby. The beach is public, and unfortunately, it's often frequented by dogs, with some unpleasant issues like dog waste around the area. This may not be ideal if you're looking for a pristine, relaxing beach experience. Another downside was the swimming pool, which was quite tiny. The pictures on Booking.com were very misleading, as the pool looked much larger and more inviting in the photos. Despite these minor setbacks, the resort itself was comfortable, but the beach and pool situation might not be ideal for everyone. Small size of pool, no iron. The service left something to be desired. The staff came into our room at 9 PM to collect payment, realizing they hadn’t done so during check-in. They also forgot to offer us the welcoming drinks and only remembered to do so at 9 PM, which felt a bit off.
