Clean and quiet Needs upgrading. A/c not good. Old facilities.

Breakfast? If you call it that. No elevator, concrete sagging, whole place needs remodel.
- 3/5
Location Shower curtain rod practically falling off the wall Handle on shower hot water almost came off in my hand. (I had to tighten the screw) Huge gaps around front door. Bugs and small critters could easily get in. Bathroom sink was mounted very crooked on wall

I accidentally booked a handicapped room for me and my daughter. Neither of us is handicapped, so we didn't need it. When I asked to switch the rooms, I was told that they couldn't do it because they were completely booked up for the holiday weekend. (Half the hotel was empty during our stay).Since I was unable to switch rooms, I asked for sheets for the pullout couch for my daughter to sleep on. They said that housekeeping had gone home for the day and they had no access to the sheets. The best part of the stay was the breakfast and the gentleman who served it.

Breakfast was good The room was disappointing. The microwave has rust marks, the room smells damp, the towel rod missing. Overall not a pleasing experience

The staff was pleasant/helpful, especially in the complimentary Southern breakfast and dinner room. It's a great value and close to Asheville by highway or secondary road. I always a appreciate an elevator.

I found this hotel clean, quiet, and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

I like the free food. The room had plenty of room. There were blank ants coming up off the floor. Killed probably around 6 of them. The door didn't feel secure because it wouldn't quite shut all the way due to being warped or something. There wasn't a fan that worked in the bathroom. Also, the ice machine was far away and upstairs. Would have been nice to have one closer and on the 1st floor. The listing says mountain view but as I saw it, I was on the mountain and didn't have a view, if you know what I mean.

The hotel room was a little used and old—you could see through a crack in the door when the door was shut, but the staff was unbelievably kind and the southern supper was extremely helpful for this trip.

Good breakfast. Free southern supper was a surprise treat when we arrived after a long drive.

Older building but clean, and the staff was great. Food was excellent, breakfast and supper. Best value.

I loved the biscuits, gravy and scrambled eggs served each morning. Plus the coffee! There were other options but this was realky good..and the free Southern Supper served EVERY night was a nice surprise! My bed was very comfortable, i had plenty of towels, and my room was perfect for me with plenty of space. My room location was very easy to get to and I felt very fortunate getring the room I did. The hotel location was perfect for seeing all of the sights in the area.
- 5/5
We absolutely loved staying here! The staff was so welcoming and friendly. They asked how we liked our room which made us feel very special and welcome. We chose a mountain view room and it was breathtaking! The view is from below. The mountain The dining space is really pretty. We enjoyed the southern supper and the breakfast. We journey into nearby Canton and found a farmers market and a restaurant called Southern Porch, which was nice. There was also a brewery in town, but it was shut down from the flood. This was just a stop over for us on the way to Greenville, South Carolina, but we felt like it was a little vacation all in itself.
- 3/5
The toilet didn’t flush most times and the front door didn’t stay closed. Had to put a chair in front of it. There was something floating in the water at breakfast
- 1/5
Our room had mold in the shower and on the bed skirt. It was so old and just disgusting. The toilet wouldn't flush if there was toilet paper in it so we started having to put our toilet paper in the trash can. When we turned on the shower mud came out. I've never seen anything like it. It was like that room hadn't been used in forever. I would normally say you get what you pay for but this room was $138 for one night. For that much this shouldn't have been our experience. I told the front desk at checkout about the mold and she said well I can give you an oops card. Which is just 35% off of your next stay at the locations listed on the card. Just ridiculous. Not only will I never stay at this particular Days inn I will never stay at any Days inn ever again.
- 5/5
Will stay again
- 5/5
Overall excellent for what you pay
- 5/5
The room was a little distance from the check in area. Staff was nice. No cold water in the sink, only hot water which meant we had to get water from tub to brush our teeth. Breakfast was a joke, scrambled eggs with a biscuit and gravy served by a man who fussed that I was not allowed to take the breakfast from dining area to my sick wife in the room. I have never seen Breakfast not being self served before. I will never visit again because of the disappointment.
- 5/5
Gorgeous property so grateful for their service.
- 5/5
I’ve been on the road for 2 weeks and this hotel has been the best stay this whole trip!! The staff was great, the room was awesome, and the free supper was unbelievable, soooooo good - beef stew & sweet corn. The stew was full of succulent tender meat. What a treat!!! The woman serving it was so genuine. Breakfast was good too. Great place, great energy.
- 3/5
Room was dirty under beds dust left overs from other guests...mold around ac unit...killed several spiders in our room #243...the breakfast they made was good but was repeated every morning - that was a big bummer- we have stayed here several times and never experienced it this way ..staff was nice to us-no issues with any of them :) Just VERY disappointed in our room with the dirty floors and the toilet as well was we thought gonna go thru the floor-loose tile as well in front of it....didn't have the time to invest in looking for another place or I would have... wasn't worth the money we paid there anymore....didn't take photos unfortunately but I can say I have NEVER complained about this place and was excited to return to it but in the end disappointed...
- 4/5
Good for the price!
- 1/5
Then there was the actual room. The entry door was so un square that there was almost an inch gap from one side to the other. It took a shoulder to door to get in and another shoulder to close. You had to lift to get it to lock! The beds appeared very clean and comfortable. And they were comfortable! My travel mate however woke up with numerous bug bites like I counted 14 on one arm alone. She was in a seperate bed and I do not have any but they are suspicious for bed bugs. This is an observation not an accusation. The overall conditions of the room were that of an old well used hotel room but it needs some serious TLC. Paint was chipped in many places but walls themselves were intact. Near the sink it looked like blood specs on wall. The TV wouldn’t work fooled with cables and the power the power source above night stand would spark when used. Run out of room to write but NOT OK
- 5/5
Great service. Clean room. The free dinner is a nice extra.
- 1/5
The breakfast was... food. I chose dry toast. They don't even have anything resembling butter. It's not self serve. They kept the biscuits and gravy behind a server. The most unacceptable aspect was having the pool close at 8PM. To me, this means you just don't care about guests with children. I can look past old buildings and cheap owners. The pool is unsupervised and costs nothing. Why close so early? That's borderline false advertising.
- 3/5
Clean but very basic.
- 2/5
first 2 rooms were not cleaned. Beds were staged to look like sheets were changed but first room the bed was covered in dogs and human hair and second room 1 bed was full of food crumbs and the other was just dirty with obvious dirty foot prints. Both rooms, the sinks and bathtubs were not cleaned with toothpaste and hair still in them. At first I was told it would be $10 to move rooms and I stated the lack of cleanliness was not our fault, and I asked at least for clean sheets. Front desk stated that housekeeping had left and she didn't have access. so we were then given the 2nd room (which was just as bad as the first). We were prepared to leave if the 3rd room was also bad, but at least the sheets were fresh, even though there was still debris behind the bathroom door and a decent amount of hair in the tub. We were tired though so just stayed since we were only going be there long enough to sleep. The front desk staff was apologetic though and stated they were embarrassed by the situation. The manager gave us a future stay discount card, for hotels in areas not in our radar to ever use, so won't do us much good. And we wont be staying there again. Manager explained they had new housekeeping...but that should not have ever been that bad, as someone was not training or inspecting the 'new' housekeeper's work. The only saving grace of the place was the breakfast attendant was very nice.

- 4/5
This was a nice location outside of big city. Even provided a evening meal as well as breakfast. We liked it.
- 2/5
I'm really disappointed because we always stay here and this time, they charged us $35 for incidentals with no explanation and we certainly didnt cause as we were barely in the room. The usual trip includes hanging by the pool all day since it says its open memorial day to labor day but was not open.
- 5/5
Great stay. Whole staff was very friendly and professional. The whole area has a cool vibe.
- 3/5
I thought main sleeping area was very good. Bath room seemed like they cut corners with old tub and fixtures. Not same effort as everything else. Workers were A+ friendly helpful good people
- 3/5
You get what you pay for…I don’t recommend it.
- 4/5
An older facility, but seemed well kept. Room was clean and well equipped, and staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
Quiet property was wonderful views and very nice staff
- 5/5
Travel with big truck easy access to main highways
- 3/5
Our stay was fine. Just fine. Decent enough for an overnight stay, what else can you say?
- 5/5
Easy and the staff is super helpful
- 1/5
It was awful. Checking in took so long and I had to stand outside in 24 degrees. Only after paying was I told there was no hot water and actually there was no water. The bathroom was disgusting and had a toddler toilet. Not worth a 1/2 of what it cost.
- 5/5
We just needed a place to sleep for the night. Great road house beside the hotel. Clean and friendly.
- 4/5
The room had average cleanliness. The hotel is older, but they offer a dinner and a breakfast that are definitely better than we have had anywhere. Staff is friendly. Rooms are roomy enough. It is a down-home hotel. While not pristine, it is reasonable and the food is good.
- 5/5
Helpful
- 5/5
Room was very clean and mostly updated. Very quiet. Will definitely stay again.
- 1/5
Beds and rooms are small, couldn’t get extra towels and the bathtub wouldn’t drain as you showed
- 5/5
All Staff extremely courteous , polite and accommodating!!! They checked on me to make sure room was acceptable and if we had everything we needed . Housekeeping does an amazing job! As well as front desk staff.
- 4/5
The place was clean, the office staff was very nice except the woman who worked the night of July 5th. She was very rude and not nice at all. The other women was exceptionally nice. The building is very old, it could use updated as with the furnishings and fixtures. But it was very clean!! The breakfast and dinner was very delicious!!As were the people serving the food, they were very good at keeping everything clean and tidy. Getting towels was an issue with the night time offuce person

- 5/5
Staff were friendly and helpful and the offer of breakfast and dinner was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again.

Nothing a good cleaning and a good handyman couldn't fix.
- 4/5
The toilet did not function properly. Otherwise nice for the price.
- 5/5
The staffs are friendly.
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, I smoke, and the room still smelled nice. The refrigerator was not only clean but worked . Very well. The room over all was very clean. I will stay there again
- 4/5
Good value hotel. The included supper was nice because there aren't any restaurants nearby. Property is older, but clean and comfortable. Lack of an elevator could be a problem for some.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel. Close to interstate, free breakfast and supper, clean, and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Clean and staff friendly
- 5/5
Convenient for us clean and neat
- 5/5
The hotel asked for a credit card and I accidentally gave them a different card. That account shows a charge of $192.21. Help!
- 4/5
Older place. Complimentary southern dinner was GREAT. Easy access to the interstate. Has all amenities. Only downside was the mattress. It sank in the middle and we rolled towards each other all night.
- 2/5
no elevators. Put us senior citizens on third floor. Nobody to carry up suitcases. Charged us $10 extra to move us in same type room on first floor. Noise coming from room next door made it hard to sleep. Noise of cars leaving next morning was loud in room. Would not stay here again
- 5/5
Homemade dinner and breakfast included. Quiet and clean. Friendly people. Pet friendly. Definitely suggest staying here.
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- 2/5
check-in and "dining" area shown in the picture. The country supper offered as part of the stay was soup in a styrofoam container and a thin sandwich made with one slice of "meat." Room was on the "poor" side of average!
- 5/5
Check in was easy and staff very friendly. Room was good and comfortable.
- 5/5
Was easy to find right off the Highway
- 2/5
We stayed here for a softball tournament and weren't looking for anything fancy, but the hotel is outdated and not clean. The walls in the bathroom looked like they had dried boogers and other stuff on them behind the door and by the toilet. A storm knocked the power out for over 5 hours, the ice machine didn't work, our outside door looked like someone tried to kick it in, and the ac didn't work very well at all. The cost of the room was $180 w/tax and it wasn't worth it by far, if I could've changed hotels I would've and I have never felt that way about any hotel I have stayed at before.
- 1/5
Completely heartless staff, rules are rules, I guess, people be damned.
- 5/5
Amazing! Wonderful friendly staff. Clean rooms. Free wi-fi and TV. Great outdoor pool. Complimentary southern breakfast and dinner! Absolutely love this place!
- 4/5
Clean rooms and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom could use an update.
- 5/5
The bed was excellent.
- 5/5
Great experience. Room was clean. Im a smoker and chose this hotel because it offered a smoking room usually smoking rooms smell awful but this was a pleasant surprise. I would stay hereagain. Thank you for providing for me. Please continue to offer smoking rooms
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable. Location worked well for our travel.
- 4/5
Beds were comfortable. Easy to find. Shower had nice pressure. Check in and out clerks were very friendly. Quiet area.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
Staff really nice and this property had dinner served, something you dont see often.
- 3/5
Our heat didn’t work first night. Finally moved us next morning
- 5/5
Stayed for 5 nights and it was everything we needed. Everyone was very friendly, they served breakfast and dinner, and it was close to all of our activities. Pet friendly which is hard to find.
- 2/5
the expedia site did not state that the king bed suites were all on the third floor. there is no elevator.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Had issues with my room key, staff was very helpful to get it corrected. Breakfast was great as well.

- 5/5
Friendly staff and supper and breakfast are included
- 4/5
Generally the room was nice, clean, the area was very quiet. The phone didn’t work, the TV remote barely worked, the alarm didn’t work, the hey cards were sensitive to demagnetizing, and the door wouldn’t lock sometimes. The staff was very nice, so maybe I was just unlucky, and I would stay again.
- 3/5
It was nice for the two days
- 4/5
Nice staff
- 5/5
Loved it there. Staff friendly, and helpful. Rooms very clean, bed super comfortable, and the sheets crisp and smelled fabulous.Loved the country supper and breakfast
- 5/5
Good breakfast.
- 1/5
Overall it’s just a dingy little motel. People hanging out on the balconies smoking and then tossing the cigarette butts into the parking lot/workway below. The price being relatively high and the low quality combined with the complete lie about location in the name is why I’ve rated the hotel so low.
- 3/5
Some Men were hanging out outside of there rooms leaning over the railing checking people out as they came and went in and out of their rooms, remind me of a low rent housing project, didn’t particularly feel safe.
- 1/5
Parking and drive in terrible condition with several large holes that caused tire damage. Went inside and place smelled like an ashtray. Ceiling fans in dining area were discolored and covered in soot. Room was in same shape as rest of building. Turned around and booked somewhere else. Told the front desk to keep the $250 because it looked like they needed it a lot more than I do.
- 2/5
The pool was very nice, plus picnic tables. But the rooms were creepy. The whole place needs an overhaul.
- 5/5
Was an older motel/hotel but was clean and the staff was very nice and attentive
- 1/5
Appears to be the first Days Inn ever built
- 4/5
It wasn't bad
- 3/5
Nothing special, just another motel
- 4/5
.
- 4/5
breakfast and location.. easy to get to.
- 2/5
When we checked in we were given a room. When we went to the room, we discovered the ceiling above the toilet was dripping. We reported it and were given a new room which was fine. It was late when got there (10:30 PM ). We were very disappointed to have to move to another room at that hour.
- 4/5
We had a junior suite with a kitchen. Thought we could save a little money and cook some food. Stove barely got hot enough to fry an egg and asked others that said they had the same issue. So we spent a lot of money eating out and brought most of our food home.
- 2/5
There was blood splatter on the bathroom door jam and on the wall to the right of the bed. The faucet in the sink still had toothpaste from a previous customer. The lamp did not work on the left side of the bed.
- 5/5
Very pleasant stay. The little lady and gentleman at the welcome desk were so sweet and helpful. Made our stay so pleasant.
- 5/5
Definitely one of the best 2 Star hotels I've stayed at. I feel like whenever you stay at a 2 Star hotel that it's a huge gamble whether or not it will be acceptable, but this one was a pleasant surprise. The room looked freshly remodeled. Mattresses and bedding were all brand new. Only complaint was the water pressure in the shower was very low. After arriving, the front desk clerk did a courtesy call to make sure my room was acceptable and let me know what kind of food was being served for the free supper. Food was like school cafeteria food, not great, but no complaints here as I've never stayed in a hotel that provided both free breakfast and free dinner.
- 3/5
Stairs only.
- 3/5
The location was good, easy on and off the highway. Staff was fine. They are pet friendly, which was super helpful. It was just a bit grungy, a bit dirty, run down. It could be really great if they put a little work into it, but as is, we wouldn't choose to stay here again.
- 4/5
The staff are friendly. The hotel offer free dinner (soup, sandwich, crackers) and a free breakfast (scrambled egg, biscuit, juice, milk). The I-40 has some noise.
- 2/5
The Check-in was fine. However, we arrived late and all restaurants nearby were closed. For $308 expected much more. Have paid less to stay in central Paris in an excellent boutique hotel. Considered the price outrageous.
- 1/5
Don’t waste your money! This place is very dirty and very rude staff!
- 1/5
Dead spider, multiple flies, strong smoke smell, and a toilet that didn’t work properly in the only room available, a smoking room, despite room banner on Expedia hotel pic saying “family friendly.” Morning staff and manager told us they would write a note for later staff (staff wrote it in front of me) and switch my family to a non smoking room if one became available, but evening staff and manager showed no concern for the fact my wife couldn’t sleep in a smoking room when I followed up to ask if one was available, gave us the idea one was available but they just couldn’t reach a manager to approve it (couldn’t find the note…), wouldn’t have even called the appropriate morning manager to attempt verify if I hadn’t continued to ask nicely, and we had to stay a second night in this terrible room we paid well over $500 for 2 nights. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in a hotel.
- 1/5
Property was in poor condition dirty in way way way overpriced
- 2/5
The room was a total fire hazard. The outlet behind the bed was popped out so neither light or plug ins were working, there wasn’t an outlet cover for microwave/refrigerator and cords were just hanging out, the face of the microwave was disconnected so it wasn’t working, the room was very smoky, and had bugs. I can’t believe I paid $350 for this!
- 5/5
It's an older facility but clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Bed was nice and comfy. Free breakfast and dinner!
- 4/5
Drive up to room and there were people all hanging outside their rooms smoking and drinking. (3 groups) Not a problem, just kept hearing them talk outside until after midnight.
- 4/5
Nothing
- 2/5
Not the cleanest place to stay. Sketchy situations take place on the property. There are more than the normal amount of permanent tenants that live at this motel. Food options are very limited. No convenient restaurants near by. Heavy interstate noise. It wasn’t a pleasant experience to say the least.
- 1/5
Unclean carpets, smoke smell in rooms
- 5/5
Mandy was made me feel at home Rooms clean and rested
- 1/5
The building is in need of major renovations. We were on the second floor and the floor felt spongy and the furniture moved because of the floor boards. The stairs to the upstairs had holes in the metal. A/C didn’t work well. Shower drained super slow. The fridge and A/C unit were propped up by wood. We had to be moved from the first room because you couldn’t lock.
- 4/5
Our room was on third floor. I have an injured knee and steps are temporarily hard for me so asked if we could be on first or second floor and man at desk said no. Everything else about stay was great. There were plenty of empty rooms available on first & second floor! I would stay at that hotel again but not using hotels.com
- 4/5
There was an additional $10 fee per night if I wanted a ground floor room and there are 3 stories, 2 sets of stairs to climb. The staff is very friendly and that is important to me. It was generally a quiet place to stay. It is located in a quiet pretty country rural location, away from the city. That was a plus for me.
