The location was convenient and the whole hotel was clean and well-kept. The breakfast was good and the staff was helpful. I didn't have any complaints.

Thanks to Ashley and her entire staff. The amenities for the kids including the indoor basketball court was the best part for us.

Good location. Nice staff.
- 4/5
This hotel has many cool design features, and overall we had a good stay. However, the walls are very thin - I could clearly hear someone snoring in the next room - and it's already showing a bit of wear. The breakfast was pretty mediocre, but I liked that they had coffee and tea 24 hours in the lobby. Bed was comfortable. The hotel is a short drive from downtown Syracuse and immediately adjacent to Costco.

- 4/5
Parking is very convenient

Nothing worth complaing about
- 3/5
Breakfast could be better. There were not many options and the eggs tasted funny. There is no coffee maker in the room which is a bit inconvenient. Overall the room and bathroom were clean. Bed was comfortable. Good for a one night stay with family.
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and staff for the one's who were actually there were nice. I left my pillow in the room but no staff would pick up the phone no matter how many times I called. Goodbye pillow. The room was really hot but comfortable. Breakfast was good.
- 4/5
Very good

Was used by various high school sports teams, led to a raucous attendance, staff was great!

Parking was easy and available, breakfast was good

As always, my stay is always enjoyable. The staff is very friendly. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. This is truly a great place to stay.
- 5/5
convenient good amenities
- 4/5
The staff was good. The room is very clean and neat and very modern looking. The pillows were small and deflated when you laid on them. Pillows could’ve been better. Otherwise a good stay.

My overall experience was fine. It just was not the cleanliness or well kept type of property that I’m used to from Hilton.
- 5/5
Clean room great staff
- 3/5
I had a early morning appointment so I wasn’t able to have breakfast, but there was ample enough parking, I spilled a 1/2 a cup of soda so I got a hand towel and cleaned it up, it was disgusting to the point it was almost black, so I got a wet washcloth and cleaned up the sticky part and that was even worse. Dirty disgusting dirty. The place is almost brand new these people should be ashamed of their self, leaving it like that. !!!

Very nice facility. We will stay again if we are in the area.

Eggs are not fully cook. Sausages were not hot. Oatmeal is watery. I booked 2 queen bed and they gave me king bed. Front desk told me there are no rooms available except for king bed. The front desk is very rude and not very helpful. The first room they put us had bugs and we showed to front desk and put us to another room. Booking.com charged 194.19 but hotel charged $219. Overall Camillus area is a disaster Tru Hilton hotel. I stayed in another Tru Hilton at Syracuse last summer and service and hotel is way better. Manager has to train the front desk person as she was very rude at not helpful at all.

Was surprised when I was charged an additional $25.00 security said it would be refunded but couldn't see it on the receipt.

The hotel is very clean and looks new. There’s a Costco behind it, along with a shopping plaza. Several restaurants give a discount to hotel guests (see the sign in the elevator for details). Staff are friendly, rooms are comfy and quiet. The area is an interesting mix of small residential houses and retail. Easy to get to from the main road.
- 4/5
Good location, clean rooms, poor breakfast
- 2/5
Thin walls and floors, you can hear everything going on above you and next door. Ac/heat unit fan is very loud. Towels are low quality and scratchy. Bring your own pillow, hotels are squishy, if you need firm pillow. All conditions above cuase zero sleep night, would not stay there again.
- 3.5/5
The sports court was great, breakfast was good as well. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and even after only one night my back was in pain. The female desk agent was incredibly rude and off putting with any interaction. She has no business working with the public let alone a front desk agent in the hospitality industry

Tru is a great low cost option for visiting the Camillus/Syracuse area. The location is convenient and the price is right. The rooms are somewhat spartan, more appropriate as a place to sleep than a place to stay. Our room overlooked the very nearby Costco and we had to listen to a generator hum all night. Not ideal, but not insurmountable. Will almost certainly stay there again, but I can't imagine ever looking forward to it.

- 4/5
Room very clean; staff friendly
- 4/5
Normally when I stay here it's quiet and refreshing. This time there were a lot of kids there, I guess for a tournament. However, the occupants over my room were making noises all night, like someone was riding the chair around the room
- 5/5
All the area was clean and they were polite
- 3/5
Very good staff but the room keys don’t work had to go up and down like 4 times in a row. Also the other guest kids make to much noise doing ding dong ditch and knocking and running away while I’m sleeping. Also they said I’d be getting Rewards for my inconvenience but never received anything.
- 5/5
Hotel staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!
- 4/5
Great room and location. Staff was super friendly! Our only request would be that the bathroom have an exhaust fan, and a table to sit at in the room. My husband likes to work on his computer and there wasn’t a chair and desk for that.
- 4/5
There was freezing rain/ice during the stay. The property was not pro-active. I had to suggest they scaþer salt so patrons wouldn't fall.
- 4/5
Room is very small. Bed was ok but pillows are below average. Good shower. Breakfast was good.
- 5/5
As always, my stay is always comfortable with little to no issues. The staff was very friendly and helpful and assisted me when needed to make my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Kudos to the Tru team members.

Everything was great even chrck in was easy
- 5/5
Staff was amazing, especially the lady from the front desk. We had been driving for 3 days and arrived prior to check in time but she managed to get us in. Also the breakfast is the best I’ve ever had at a hotel and there’s an indoor basketball hoop.
- 2/5
Bed and floors not clean; brought to staff attention when checking out and received a “sorry; that should not have happened”
- 5/5
Her I had to checkout at 4:30 am and would not be able to have breakfast. She put a bagel and some fruit in a bag for me and I got it when I checked out. It was so nice. It set the tone for the whole day. She’s a keeper!

Parking was safe
- 3/5
This is a very weird hotel. Geared for almost college aged folks but no one there was of that age range except for the check in guy. Felt like I was staying at a dorm. Not bad but not something I would choose. Sheets felt like polyester. But the room was thoughtfully laid out for maximum usage.
- 5/5
Our room was clean, the amenities were simple, but efficient. Housekeeping tidied up our room. The free breakfast offered a lot of choices!
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Close to many restaurant.
- 3/5
Breakfast was fresh but no Gluten free or dairy free options
- 5/5
Safe area
- 1/5
The worst customer service ever. Rude and irresponsible staff endes up giving away my room and causing all kinds of problems. Stay away
- 1/5
Gave my room away and had to drive home 3 hours after midnight No fun
- 5/5
Beds were very comfortable. Quiet hotel. Gluten free bagels available with breakfast!
- 5/5
Very clean, safe, well organized. Breakfast was fresh with great options. Highly recommend!!
- 3/5
We often stay here for convenience when we visit our son. The room had a strange odor and the window shade broke our first day there. We notified the front desk and it was still not repaired the following day. Staff was pleasant, room could have been better
- 5/5
We've stayed at this Tru multiple times, and it's always been excellent - clean, quiet, and up-to-date. Highly recommend this location if you're in the Camillus / Syracuse area.
- 5/5
The front desk employee was very nice checking us in. The facility is very clean neat the breakfast was above most and a nice variety. The pillows and bed were extremely comfortable and the shower was new and sparkling clean! I loved everything about it and would definitely stay sgsin
- 3/5
3 star property. Pillows are terrible, walls are thin. But convenient to camillus area and staff was actually very kind and welcoming.
- 5/5
Our room was very clean looked to be newer!!! Beds were great as well—-loved our stay!!
- 4/5
Have stayed there a couple times for family events...grew up in Syracuse and my mom lives in Camillus now. Parking is right in front. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. The rooms and hotel were clean. Breakfast was great and service was amazing. Thank you for making our stay fantastic..
- 3/5
Hotel was clean and convenient. We like the walking trail nearby. The front desk staff not so helpful.

Love all of the Tru hotels--clean, modern, nice amenities and lounge/game area. And the most creative marketing. Rooms are bright & clean with cool features. Especially love the lemon body wash. Great breakfast with fresh yogurt and lots of options. One of the best free breakfasts at a hotel chain
- 3/5
Nice property. Desk staff uninterested. Stayed 6 days and room was only cleaned and serviced twice. On the two days it was serviced bed was barely made. Had to ask for fresh towels. When asked about cleaning room we were told that hotel was full and staff had been working overtime so I guess because we were not checking out our room was skipped. Hotel is very nice and seems fairly new but without regular cleaning it will deteriorate quickly.
- 3/5
When we checked in there were two people at the desk and neither greeted us. I had interrupt them and it was clear that I was inconveniencing them. The hand written signs were half wiped off by the elevator. Things in the room were scratched and dingy and there was hair all over in the corners of the bathroom. Definitely not worth what we paid for the night.
- 5/5
It was a great mid-way stop for us with lots of dining options nearby.
- 4/5
Proximity to major stores for our daughter's move in needs for SU.
- 5/5
Great location for visiting the Lakeview Amphitheater!
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent
- 4/5
Good hotel with amazing views of Costco!
- 5/5
This isn’t the five star hotel you want for a luxurious vacation. It’s a clean, convenient hotel with strong and personable staff, and free breakfast. Parking and neighborhood stores and restaurants are all convenient.
- 5/5
👍

We got there late and left super early to fly out, but it was convenient and easy check in with some nice amenities and restaurants around within walking distance.
- 5/5
Clean.
- 5/5
Staff was very friendly and professional
- 5/5
Rooms were clean and well organized. Staff was friendly. Great soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotions and in cool dispensers. Breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed the lobby lounge games for relaxation outside the room. Location very convenient to get to Syracuse and other local towns.
- 3/5
Two Queen beds, but Very small room. No place for suitcase. No closet. Just a hanging bar with a couple hangers, with mini frig underneath. Mini ironing board, which was Hanging on the wall above mini frig. 1 nightstand between the beds. Not a typical Hilton. On a good note. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Rooms are ok, people at reception very nice and helpful, but clean at room very poor , breakfast poor as well and it is not worth to pay such amount for this hotel . Very expensive for such as quality !! I wouldn’t recommend it !!
- 5/5
Great location in Syracuse to NYS Fairgrounds and Lakeside Amphitheater!
- 4/5
Reminds me of an IKEA of hotels. Simple, basic, clean and new. Close to shopping and food.
- 5/5
Close to amenities and easy to get to.
- 4/5
Clean nice hotel with a nice breakfast. Wish rooms had microwave.
- 5/5
We had a nice stay! The rooms were simple, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight—plenty of options to choose from, and the pancake machine was a fun touch that entertained everyone. A great value and overall pleasant experience.
- 5/5
Was very happy with our stay. Room was clean, staff were polite and pleasant. Easy to get too.
- 5/5
Great place to stay if you have kids. They have a game area and lots of space to relax in the lobby. The rooms are spacious for a hotel room with storage the your things. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and check-in was smooth and painless. Highly recommend this hotel!
- 3/5
It was great, but when I called to see if they had coin laundry or a pool, I was told yes all properties have them. When I asked they said they had neither. The pool wasn’t necessary but the coin operated washer was.
- 3/5
Got dressed and went to front desk, no one there to address my concern. This was after midnight
- 5/5
Property was clean. The room was clean. The check in was fast and easy. Staff was great!
- 5/5
The on duty manager was outstanding!!!
- 3/5
Very minimalist. Stayed many years at this property but think we need drawers and a bit ‘more’.
- 2/5
The room was located on the fourth floor! If there had been an emergency which made the elevators unusable, I would have been trapped on the fourth floor. The room had two double beds so could sleep four people but only one chair! The bath had grab bars but no bench and was very slick. The room was cleaned one day and not touched the next. We were there three nights and two of those nights we had to go back down to the desk to get the key reset. Was told this happens and nothing they could do. The room was not worth the amount they charged.
- 5/5
Friendly and open. Clean.
- 3/5
The location is convenient, plenty of places around. Clean, bright. However, upon arrival the entire lobby smelled like marijuana and I’m fairly confident that the front desk clerk was high. Not a great impression.
- 3/5
The hotel was clean, the room was nice, and the morning breakfast was good. Front desk staff was missing at times and not very friendly.
- 4/5
It was an overall decent stay. Tru always has nice amenities. Our duvet cover was slightly stained, and my bedside lamp on one side of the bed did not work. But those are my only complaints.
- 5/5
Only problem was that we found it difficult to get the air temperature down to a comfortable level for sleeping.
- 4/5
We stayed one night to attend a concert. It was convenient, clean and comfortable at a reasonable price
- 5/5
Lots of comfortable seating in the common area. Great breakfast! Will stay again.
- 4/5
This hotel was comfortable, and a good stay for the price. Breakfast and amenities were nice. Would stay again in this hotel chain
- 5/5
This hotel is always fun for the kids, usually there for soccer. It’s clean, and very nice.
- 5/5
All good.
- 3/5
Overall happy but I need a receipt for my incidentals which has not been given to me and could not be given to me when I requested at checkout
- 5/5
The fact that it was dog friendly!
- 2/5
Room had annoying motor noise all night long. Room was not serviced even though I stayed multiple nights. When I arrived, the trash bin in the room had not been emptied and had several used cups and other trash. No hot water in the morning when I was there--it was a repair that needed to be done, but why schedule in the morning when everyone needs to get dressed?
- 5/5
It was quiet, close to everything and staff was great
- 5/5
It was a very nice hotel. We were able to check in early and the staff was very accommodating. Would stay there again.
- 2/5
Had loud college aged men in the room next door...loud and banging until 230am. Obnoxious...probably not going to stay again
- 4/5
My stay was nice. The food was good and the attendants were very nice. Over all the property was nice new and up to date. I will be back.
- 4/5
My biggest concern was over the cleanliness of the room itself. There were a lot of crumbs from previous guests visible in the bed frame/along the mattress (gross to think of previous guests eating in bed). The duvet cover (which was white) had obvious filth on it, and when I lifted the mattress up to check for bugs (given all the crumbs) there were unsightly stains all over it, which I found disturbing). I also found that the bedside tables had not been cleaned (and I don’t mean dust), so I cleaned the furniture myself using Lysol wipes that I was lucky enough to have in the car. For these reasons, I did not bother to request housekeeping services during my stay (2 nights).
- 5/5
Everything was excellent.
- 5/5
Hotel was great. Other guests made it rough as they were very loud.
- 5/5
Consistently good
- 3/5
The staff was great and everything appeared clean but the linen smelled like old laundry. Which made it uncomfortable to rest.
- 5/5
Stayed one night with family. Quiet, clean and convenient.
- 4/5
We were just there for the night, but had a little down time in the evening. We enjoyed the indoor court with some lacrosse, basketball, and volleyball, and then the boys enjoyed the oversized connect 4 while I enjoyed some reading in the egg chair in the quiet lobby. Breakfast was what you'd expect - nothing special, but good enough to get us off and running in the morning. I also appreciate the bright, cheery decor, clean rooms, and good smelling shampoo/conditiner/soap.
- 1/5
Grounds outside property littered with trash all over. Looked disgusting! Bare basic room with no decor. Like a prison cell. The breakfast food Terrible sub par . The worst part was the room charge was over $250 per night. Total rip off for disgusting conditions!
- 5/5
Breakfast was great too. Impeccably clean!
- 3/5
My room did not get cleaned daily as others in my group. My room key did not function every day so unnecessary routine trips to the front desk was a must.
- 5/5
I LOVE staying at Tru hotels. I just love the aesthetic and the “vibe” of the place. I especially like how the staff is, and the fact that they check in on you via text. As usual, a clean and comfortable no frills stay. Thanks Tru!
- 5/5
Clean comfy and convenient
- 5/5
Great staff! Super friendly!
- 4/5
clean and quiet
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and nice. We had a great stay.
- 5/5
All fine
- 2/5
No way to contact front desk which is annoying- everything is done by CHAT thru app which gives limited info. No hot water today - and no one seemed concerned
- 5/5
all good
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was wonderful and the motel was clean and quiet. They also include a very nice breakfast. I would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
Staff are super nice! Limited breakfast options but still included some hot options and pancake machine. Hotel overall was clean; fitness room was small but teens enjoyed the sports court. Restaurants and Costco within walking distance was very handy.
- 4/5
The staff are super nice; the hotel overall was very good! Restaurants and Costco close by are handy! Breakfast choices were limited
- 4/5
We had trouble getting the tv to work. Staff was helpful and it was fixed. We also had difficulty connecting to the Wi-Fi. Again we had to contact the front desk for help. We didn’t have warm water for showers the next morning. The water was cool and never became even close to warm. Chilly start to the day.
- 3/5
Bug climbing around ceiling
- 2/5
Took 15 min to check in. The clerk clearly didn’t know what she was doing
- 5/5
Comfortable and clean
- 5/5
Very comfortable stay.
- 3/5
Bedroom was not really clean, bathroom was not clean or shower. I had to clean my own.
- 5/5
Everything was smooth and perfect
- 2/5
The first time I stayed I had an amazing time! This second stay however, included a loud family across the hall yelling into the night and the facility holding more than the specified amount on my card without any notice.
- 4/5
Great place. Great price. Great breakfast
- 5/5
I have two suggestions. 1. Jimmy Dean sausage would be amazing instead of what you are using. 2. Put a vent in the bathroom. This would prevent too much moisture, make it possible to vent stinky odors and the wall paper was peeling off the wall in our bathroom. So this might save money on wallpaper maintenance in you bayhrooms.
- 3/5
The price could be lower for room cost. A nice rubber floor matt could have been provided for the shoes or boots to be put on Also a few more coat hangers would have been nice. The hair dryer could be checked on a regular basis to ensure it will be safe for anyone to use. I did't like the sparks coming out of the front of it. So I informed the front desk of the issue. The elevators could be faster. They are really slow moving like the old fashion ones. The pavement could have been salted by the snow plow contractor due to really cold and icy weather to prevent hazards.
- 4/5
One thing that I have trouble understanding is why/how hotels place travelers BETWEEN groups who are spread across multiple rooms. On this trip, we were sandwiched between a team or scout troop (it was not clear) who were cross-crossing rooms and up talking and laughing past 2am. The hotel could have sought to be assured they were in adjacent rooms, perhaps at the end of the hall, to ensure other guests were minimally impacted. I did ask for quiet just once, but did not get too upset or ask again, since I didn’t want to ruin their time. My night of sleep - at that point - was already mostly ruined anyhow. Please, hotels, put some thought into how you schedule groups. They have just as much right to be there, and when they are young, it’s to be expected that they will try to be with friends and have fun. I want them to have the memory. I don’t want to be the grouch that rains on their parade. Let’s keep everyone happy by thinking about how you arrange rooms. It would probably keep everyone a tad happier. All of that said, the hotel was immaculate, the staff was kind, and I won’t hesitate to stay in the future. This was “just one of those nights” that might have been avoided.
- 5/5
Great place , great location , friendly staff
- 4/5
Overall I would stay at this location again👍👍
- 5/5
Convient
- 3/5
Body wash bottle was nearly empty.
- 5/5
It was a good stay.
- 4/5
Overall hotel does nothing poor but also nothing outstanding. Breakfast was average. Bed not great. Pillows are poor. Elevator had one broken, one was working but we had to use the stairs most of the time. Rooms are small.
