The front desk staff would not let me check in for both rooms I got because I put my husbands name on the second room, they needed his ID. However, they did let me pay the deposits for both rooms before giving me keys. They tried to close the pool at 9 when the sign on the door said it closed at 10. They also tried to close breakfast at 930 and there was barely any food. When we mentioned it says breakfast was closed at 10 the person seemed frustrated and said it would take them time to get more food out, which they did begrudgingly.

The rooms were clean, which was great.....but i was charged $100 per room booked up front AFTER i already paid for the rooms on Affirm. I have never heard of that before. 200 dollars out of my account IN CASE of damages and i dont get it back until 2 to 3 business days??? Are you serious? Ive been to multiple Holiday Inn Expresses (one in December in another city, one last July in another state- so i know this isnt corporate policy) and they had only a $5 hold charge to have a card on file at both previous places. This is a disgusting practice, as its right before payday and my sons braces auto payment cant go through on Monday now. I will never go back to this location. Breakfast was good as usual and rooms were clean. But charging people 100 dollars after full payment just in case is a terrible business practice.

It was clean, friendly staff, quiet and a decent breakfast. I thought it was ridiculous to charge a $25 fee to check in 45 minutes early. Our room was ready so it wasn’t costing the hotel anything. Just a way to make more money off the guests.

Dirty sheets/dirty bandaid found in sheets.

The place was clean, the breakfast was decent, but the beds and pillows are brutal. I think a cinder block is softer than the bed. Other than that it was a good place.

The staff allowed me to check in early. Breakfast was really nice. Even though the pool was closed, the fitness room was clean and had everything I needed to work out.

Nice room. FYI the queen bed accessible room has a tub not a walk in shower. The walk in shower is only available for Kjng bed room. My mom was able to step over the tub it was low but someone who is more limited might have some issues. Otherwise was a great stay and safe.

Staff was very receptive to suggestions and requests. The facility does need to make some ADA corrections that were discussed with management.

Only two minor problems. Toilet would run every few minutes. Staff was very responsive and got it fixed pretty quickly. A/C unit under the window rattled. Had to shove the lounger up against it to make it stop.

I would have like to have seen the bathroom remodel done better. The tissue holder was not reset right. There was no way to turn on the bathroom fan while showering. That will cause mildew to set in for sure.

We have stayed at this property several times, and will always choose it when staying in the area. Clean, efficient, good complimentary breakfast, friendly staff.

The manager at the hotel was very unprofessional, when we brought up the fact that it smelled like marijuana in the lobby she played dumb and acted like she couldn’t smell it. We had small children with us and they commented and said it stunk. The manager was sitting in the lobby on her laptop with the people who took at least 3 trips outside and brought the very stinky strong smell of marijuana back in with them. Could have been her family members, it’s wasn’t pleasant at all. We had other issues come up such as cold showers, broken items that we were accused of breaking and charged for. Speaking to the manager made us super frustrated and she ruined our time at the hotel. Considering we referred our whole team to that hotel after staying there the previous weekend, we weren’t treated well at all.

Pool was a nice temp. And they over booked so we got bumped up to a suite.

The bathroom floor was Sticky. There were gross spots on the wall in the bathroom (brown). The sink had Black Mold. They could have done a better job cleaning. I cleaned the spots off of the wall and everything else I could. We always leave hotel rooms cleaner than when we arrived. This was our 2nd visit to this hotel. We will be choosing a different place to stay next time we are in Camas.

We were unable to go home due to fires in the Gorge. We showed up with our car and three dogs. The front desk person was very nice and said he could accommodate us. Shortly before checking in we found out we were finally able to go home so we asked to cancel the room. Expedia contacted the general manager and he refused to refund us. If they just refund us, I'm happy to remove this review.

The breakfast was absolutely terrible! The scrambled eggs were flavorless & the sausage gravy was absolutely discusting like a can of dog food. We went there for the breakfast & will not ever stay again because of the discusting breakfast.

Nice, clean, and comfortable. Close to eating places and shopping. They have Kureigs in rooms which is nice. Bring your fave K-cups. We were on first floor but didn’t hear any noise above us. Easy check in and check out. The carpet was a little worn but I don’t walk barefoot in hotel rooms anyway. The main thing it was CLEAN and did not smell.

Pool was too small ( limit 10 people ) and someone threw up so we were told the pool was closed. Breakfast was ok but I always go to holiday inn express in Washington and oregan their breakfast has more selection and alway filling up the empty trays. The front desk guy was starring at everyone who was eating. It felt weird and uncomfortable. My kids room was half done made up only 1 bed was fixed and not the 2nd one?? Didn’t replace towels in the other rooms on the 3rd floor. No towels in the pool area ??? It was ok . But next time I’ll go to somewhere else… hotel was good the vibe of the people was uncomfortable and felt unwelcome.

We didn't like that you had to scan your card to get in the hotel. Check in took a bit long and I was the only one. Needed extra linen for the sofa bed and had to go down and get it myself. Other then that room was nice, pool was nice and breakfast had a variety

They didn’t have a two beds that reserved. Just one and had to use a cot.

We have nothing but issues since we checked in, over charged, no room service, a key to our room to somebody else who had just checked in. I will never stay here again

The staff was very helpful during my stay at Holiday Inn Camas in March, especially Kahlil at the front desk. Kahlil did an outstanding job, going the extra mile when I needed assistance. Also, the HVAC system was great.. with quiet, consistent temperature. And I appreciated the blackout shade for a good night's sleep. Thank you!

Breakfast was very limited. It looks like management is cutting corners. We stayed there for nights and butter was available only one morning. The signature cinnamon rolls were some days cold, stale and totally missing on Monday.

Carpets are vacuumed, even the corners pristine. Room smelled like fresh air. Very comfortable bed. Nice pillows.

I’ve stayed here in the past and chose this again for the comfort and cleanliness as well as customer service. All are great. However, I am disappointed when it comes to the check in time and the check out time. You can’t check in til 4pm yet have to be out at 11am. That isn’t even 24hrs!!

We were in town for a family funeral and having lived in the area for nearly 10 years, this is our hotel of choice. Clean, comfortable, conveniently located close to many E. Vancouver/Camas amenities. Just a nice place to stay.

The property was very nice and very clean. Staff was friendly and took care of our stay. I had a recent surgery so I was walking with a brace. Staff got me ice and made me comfortable when I was waiting in the lobby.

I travel down to camas to see my daughter, we usually stay at random hotels just whatever is cheaper but ww found this hotel and have made it our spot. We now have stayed 4 or 5 times the year and we love it. It's clean everyone so far has been awesome too us, the breakfast is on point and the pool is always working. Seems every hotel the pool is always closed.

Seems like there is new management that is finding its legs. Awesome mattresses, slept great. Some of the new staff (family owned?) is not yet used to American hotel behavior.

I believe I got ill from the breakfast. It was very bad. I had the biscuit and gravy and it did not taste right. I have a sensitive stomach with Crohn’s disease and it made me sick. I left to go back to San Diego and feel better now.

Hotel was convenient from highway 14. The heater/ ac made a horrible noise when it would turn on, it would make a rattling noise. It's too bad maybe no one else said anything about this. More than likely they did not. The conditioner was so plugged up when my wife went to push down it squirted her right in the eyes in the shower. Kind of surprised how the floor and walls in the shower were chipped up. Being such a new hotel. Went down at 7. :00 to grab a small bite to eat and was not open. Waited till about 10 after 7 and the gentleman finally opened the doors and wasn't even ready. He must have got to work late.Hard to find good help that knows how to show up on time. I did let the manager know about my concerns. He was polite and wrote things down on a scrap piece of paper. Who knows.

Propert was convenient location to the golf course for a family wedding event. Most of our party stayed here from outvof town and overseas.

The beat part was they provided us with 3 queens beds to accomodate our 6 people! Other than that it could have been a tad bit cleaner. The pool was cold. On the whole, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. We appreciated their help in everything! Breakfast is served for free which is a plus point!

Trip was fine. Kinda weird that there wasn’t an ice machine on my floor and apparently there was only 1 in the entire hotel but aside from that it was fine. I appreciated the parking and breakfast.
