Had to pay extra for breakfast if you wanted it. Pool covered so no sun if you wanted it. Beer at bar expensive. Lighting in room dim especially when you open door next to full length mirror.

An older hotel that was maintained ok.

The only complaint is that the TV did not work correctly, but we didn't go there to watch TV so it was not really an issue. The front desk staff did what they could to help with that problem. All of the staff from the front desk, dining staff, and housekeeping were all very pleasant and helpful. The room and hotel were clean. The beds were very comfortable. I would stay at this hotel again.

Nice stay. Night staff lass was amazing. offered a water. Day manager couldn't accommodate my extra night stay in person that morning, so I booked in on Expedia.

The manager Lax was very rude and cancelled my reservation and charged me a higher rate than Expedia. I would never stay here again.

Everything was perfect. I’ll definitely be staying here again. Staff was nice & professional. Room was clean and smelled good. The restaurant and bar was a plus. You really dont have to leave the hotel if you dont want too.

If your room is facing the highway you can hear the noise but everything else was good!

Room was clean. It's an older building so you can see the layers of paint and some quick repair work that they've done. Unfortunately, I had a connecting room with a very loud talker next door so the walls are a little thin. Staff was very friendly and they have nice breakfast and dinner options. Parking is spaceous with additional around the back. Not sure if I felt safer or concerned with local pd routinely rolling through the parking lot.

Room was not that clean, shower was moldy, Staff was very helpful put me in a room away from the highway, Parking was a plus, you can park near your room.

Didn't have any breakfast. Room was clean and tidy. It was a mile away from excellent shoping and restaurants. That was the best part.

Very welcoming from the minute we got there. We didn't use the facilities but everywhere was spotlessly clean. Our toilet got blocked and someone was there to fix it within minutes of reporting it. Wifi was great and there was plenty of parking. Would definitely stay there again. My only tip to make it better would be to put a hairdryer in the room.

Stay was going great until we went in the bathroom where it was infested with ants, ee walk to the jacuzzi and around it was Allison infested with ants. My husband took video and we went to the front desk, the staff person on that night shift was GREAT, he wanted to discount our room, gave us 4 drink passes and even wanted to change our room but due to an injury, we needed the hot tub and that was the only one available so we opted for any spray and cleaning supplies. The next morning, my husband went to the front desk to discuss room comp (mind you when we woke up the bathroom was infested AGAIN with ants) my husband was told there's no discount or refund because we were given drink passes and breakfast passes but WE PAID FOR THE BREAKFAST so all we got for our inconvenience was 4 drink passes we didmt even use and was told because we booked thru 3rd party there nothing they can do but the night before the man at the front desk said we would new comped he just had to wait for a manager! Over all the stay was great minus the ANT INFESTATION but to be told because

This is a nice Hotel for the price. Clean, friendly staff, good location for highway access. Breakfast buffet eggs and potatoes were much better than similar grade hotels I’ve stayed in. Was pleasantly surprised. It’s a good value compared to its competition. I would stay again.

I didn't enjoy this hotel at all. The rooms and hallways were run down. The pool was not available for use. The staff was friendly but it was an overall disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was quite expensive even for kids not really the best selection. I would suggest eating out if you want your moneys worth.

No soap in shower. Tub drained very slowly ( >1 hour). Electrical outlet next to bed didn't work. Single woman given room that had 2 adjoining room doors (not safe!) and it was a woman staffmember who did that!

My bed was comfortable. When I woke to workout 4 of the 6 machines in the room had an out of order sign. The treadmill I chose, the belt slipped and almost threw me into the waster machine. Only 1 of the 6 machines in the gyms were functional.

The room was fine but the road noise is quite loud. It is across from a major road and had a lot of truck and car noise all night. Maybe a room on the opposite side of the hotel would have been fine.

Our stay at this hotel was disappointing. We were woken up in the middle of the night by a child crying loudly in a nearby room, and at one point the child began banging on our door, which made the situation feel unsettling and almost like a trap. We immediately called the front desk, and they told us they would take care of it. Unfortunately, we never received any follow-up, and nothing was resolved. For the price we paid, we expected better communication, safety awareness, and a more restful experience.

The place was clean but old and not maintained well. Old moldings glued together and fragile bathroom door. Noisy by highway. Had a false fire alarm go off at 5am and nobody bothered to communicate to all if they should evacuate or how long it would take to clear it. The alarm kept going off more times. If you didn't ask the 1 staff in the lobby you knew nothing. We checked out early because the hour of the flashing emergency lights in our room and ongoing fire alarm sounds was unbearable and couldn't sleep there anymore. They wouldn't issue a refund or give a timeline or an apology. Just said to talk to Expedia. Never going back.

Hotel was ok, room could have been cleaner. My biggest regret was booking through Expedia, I was not allowed to change my reservation and had to pay for a day I wasn’t even there. Terrible policy!

We were in town for a wedding.Check in was pretty good with the exception that the front desk person forgot to give my ID back. Our hotel room was very dirty-specs of boogers, blood, dirt, and miscellaneous trash in the room and bathroom. Parking lot was okay. Extremely noisy with the freeway immediately alongside the hotel. At a point i asked for a fork and front desk man said i could buy one with breakfast. Really? Penny pinching for sure. Only really good bc of proximity to dining ang our venue...smh...overall disgusting

Great hotel for sleeping. It is extremely quiet even being next to the interstate. I assume the used sound proof glass. Breakfast was $20.

The AC sucks! It gets nice and cold but it cycles off and on all night which changes the noise all night. It kept waking us up. There was a cricket stuck in the wall and it kept chirping for the 2 nights we were there and lastly, room service came in our room before check our time even with the do not disturb sign on the door. The front desk people were great though. Also, the sheets aren’t great.

This is our third year staying at the property for Labor Day Weekend. It is a popular place among those of us who attend a local music festival and though many of us are coming & going until 2-4 AM each night, the property is very quiet. We've never been disturbed by hallway or neighbor noise. Anywhere you want to eat or shop is within a 15 minute drive, too.

The only negative was that the hotel website advises that all standard rooms have an in-room safe, they do not. Safety deposit boxes are located in a room behind the reception.

Room was dirty and unsanitary, had wet, discolored carpet, smelled funky, had a hole in the floor and wall by the air conditioner which was loud like a freight train, and the phone wouldn’t dial to the front desk for help. Entertainment in room was very limited and slow wifi.

Quiet convenient location close to the shopping area. Very nicely maintained hotel especially on the inside. They had breakfast buffet, a bar but we didn't have time.

If you call 100 times at front desk only one time they answer. Second if you go physically to see reception 15-30 minutes wait for him to discuss your situation and issues. Third the swimming pool water temperature was extremely cold. Fourth the maintenance was very poor, no fixation. Fifth the cleaning crew and times was so bad because this is upto them to clean or not. I traveled a lot but crown plaza was very poor.

There was a huge stain in the middle of the carpet in front of the refrigerator and a crack pipe birn in the rug, gross!

The staff was exceptional. Incredibly kind and accommodating and eager to please- so I don’t want the review to be a reflection of them! But this facility needs a lot of maintenance and upgrades. The room was old, the elevators were concerning, and the whole facility had that “old” smell. The pool was not closed, but was so dirty that you couldn’t see the bottom even in the 3 ft section. The hotel is also directly on the highway- so there is a lot of highway noise.

The front desk staff inflexible. A newly engaged couple was celebrating and they wouldn’t even comp a breakfast. Also because I made my reservation through Expedia where I got a flight and hotel, I was advised I could not get the points because I didn’t hook direct. Finally, the floors were filthy. I wore shoes the whole time and walked only to/from the bathroom yet when I go into the shower, I left dirt marks from dirty floors.

I checked in at 2 am after working all day and then flying. The bed had stains, the bathroom floor was dirty, the shower was not cleaned and the mirror was broken. I went to the front desk and told them the concerns. They asked if I would like to change rooms. I said no and booked different lodging. I asked for a refund and they stated they would call to confirm the refund. They never called. I called back. I couldn’t get anyone to help. I asked Expedia for a refund and it was denied because Expedia couldn’t get a hold of the hotel to approval.

Everything was good about this place, only thing that really sucked was the fact that our check in was at 3pm and they told us they couldn’t check us in for an hour due to having no clean rooms. We didn’t get into our room till 4:30pm and had to be somewhere at 5pm. Very inconvenient

Stayed here for a couple of nights. The bathroom floor didn’t feel even. Like it was a bit hilly. Thank God they got the instructions in the shower to turn on the water! You can hear the other people in the next room. Especially in the bathroom you can hear the neighbors clearly. The pool was nice and warm. Wish they had a microwave.

Room was very clean, there was house keeping offered daily without having to ask for it. Staff were very friendly. Location was great almost in the middle of every place we wanted to go to, including airport and downtown. Only issue we had was the bathroom door did not lock and some ceiling paint was peeled off.

The only minor detractoon was that we thought the hotel had a hot tub available to all residence from what hotels.com was indicating, but we discovered that evening that a hot tub is only available to person's who reserve a suite and not for person who reserve regular rooms.

Stoped here during a cross-country move. Location is quiet and a 30 minute drive to Chicago. Ample parking, nice staff and overall a comfortable stay with clean rooms.

The rooms were very quiet, and the beds were comfortable. It's nice that you have breakfast available to guests. The only things that were not good were the biscuits and gravy. Not sure really what it was but it was nothing like any biscuits and gravy that I have ever had.

The hotel site led me to believe the hotel was more upscale than it turned out to be. This is an older hotel that has been renovated. My stay was adequate and the staff was cordial and helpful.

Everyone was very polite and professional. The gentleman that served as the bartender and our waiter the following morning was outstanding. He catered to our every need. My stay was wonderful.
