Ramada by Wyndham Burbank Airport

Overall, we had a great stay! The property is well-maintained, the staff is very friendly, and our room was easily one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in—plus, the bathroom is absolutely huge. There are just two minor things to note regarding noise: the property sits right next to the 5 freeway, so you can hear highway traffic, and if you aren’t on the top floor, you will likely hear the people above you walking around. We also had a slight hiccup with housekeeping—we requested a room cleaning before heading out for the day, but returned to find it hadn't been touched. However, the front desk handled it well when I called; they offered to send someone up right away, though we ultimately opted to just take the fresh towels they provided. I would absolutely stay here again!

Bed was uncomfortable and loud when you barely move, the sofa bed was nothing but natal springs feel and definitely need to be replaced. A/C was cold but very loud when on and then immediately hot when clicked off and then extremely loud when it clicked back on. Not doing this place again. Don’t get me started on the parking lot!

Clean room. But had to ask for toiletries + not provided in room. Shampoo and soap. Pool not heated either.

Great location. Staff was very friendly. The property is clean and quiet at night. I traveled with my two kiddos and we all enjoyed the stay. We went to universal studios and the drive was quick and easy.

Room looked like recently renovated. Could have used a better restaurant. Was Cuban food. Area was kinda industrial. No restaurants nearby. Had to drive a bit.

I been staying at this location often due to ill family member that lives in the area. Entire staff is amazing I’ve always enjoyed my stay. Although 2 weeks ago I stopped to check rates from hotel vs Expedia and was very disgusted by FRANK the Man at the front desk. He was so rude the way he spoke to me. He seemed bothered by me bothering him and asking questions. I really hope I don’t have to deal with this man again. I love staying here and didn’t want to leave a bad review but this employee should be spoken to about his hospitality and the way he speaks to people. Thank you.

The Ramada Inn was a nice place to stay. It wasn’t far from Universal Studios. We were able to take an Uber to Universal Studios and to the airport.

Seems things could be maintained a little better. Sounds from outside we're annoying because the door seals were bad.

I left and did not stay at this hotel because it seemed dirty, run-down, old, and unsafe. The carpets in the hallways were very dirty. The room has a musty stench. It was so close to the freeway that I could hear all the traffic inside my room. It did not look nice from the outside. It should have been priced much lower.

This was a great place to stay. The room was very clean and conveniently close to Universal Studios and other attractions.The staff was also very polite and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

The motel was full and constantly changing guests, but it never felt crowded or busy. I’d go back again.

It was well after 10pm, more like 10:30pm when it all stopped. My children finally feel asleep, so I didn’t want to make a call using hotel phone. However I was calling on number from reservation. People were outside at the pool, which was posted to be closed at 8pm. They were drunk, screaming and using foul language. We tried going to pool before it closed, but didn’t stay because of them at that was before 7:30pm. Things we were hearing past 10pm was crude, drug related, and I seen about of cussing. Nobody went down and asked them to stop. Or leave the pool area which closed 2 1/2 hours beyond the time they stayed. It was horrible. My husband didn’t want us to leave our room since we were right next to the pool and they already saw us leave the pool due to there poor behavior. Hotel was good, minus they don’t care about customers who are trying to sleep and enjoy the pool with their families but have disrespect guest.

Not worth the price. Rooms were not clean and staff were not responsive. Would never stay here again.

This hotel was extremely clean and quiet. Very surprising since it’s right off the freeway. Not having carpets is really nice and the gated parking lot was terrific.

The gentleman at the desk was trying someone and he was so very rude. I was told that there was a $100 deposit which I had no idea at the time I reserved. He pointed at a sign on the tall desk, mind you I’m only 4’11” I said okay no worries but when will I get my deposit back. He rudely said “if you don’t smoke or trash our room you will get your deposit back” I was taken back by his rudeness. My son then asked what time is breakfast? He looked up at us with annoyance and point passed us and said “ you see that restaurant it’s a Cuban restaurant if you want breakfast you can buy there” The hotel was nice modern and very clean, but the front desk person was beyond rude. The gentleman that was in training was so nice and kind. I would stay at the facility again only if I wasn’t treated with such rudeness again.

Quiet place for relaxing.

The best hotel I’ve ever been to. I’ve had an amazing experience, parking by the pool which is inside the building protected by a gate which can be opened by the same key as your room key. My fiancé and I stayed here 8 nights. We will definitely be coming back soon!

When I saw the outside, I couldn’t believe the place had no windows...but inside all of the rooms look out into a courtyard and pool and it was great! It was a good stay!

Room smelled and looked very clean. Quite spacious. They were able to accommodate an early check in for us. Soooo quick and easy to get to the airport. Only suggestion would be warming the pool a bit if possible. We still jumped in but didn’t use it for long because of the water temp. I have stayed here before and will do so again.

And the mattress was too thin, needless to say, I will NEVER book there again!!!

I was looking for a hotel close to the airport so I could easily drop off the rental car for my early flight. This one did the job. Comfy enough beds, gas station close by made the gas easy to get prior to the flight. Onsite security and free parking were the highlights. You could hear the freeway noise and the bedding wasn’t the best but all in all, it did the trick for what needed to be done.

Clean and close to freeway!

The staff were very nice, the rooms were nice and spacious, the bed wasn’t quite as big as a queen but that’s okay! Check in and check out was easy and the property had nice decorations and greenery. My only complaint is that it’s right next to the high way and you can hear the cars through the vents but not the worst thing in the world! Overall, great hotel for the price!

The room was clean and nice and the staff were friendly. The room does not have a table and chairs for eating. The hotel is located directly off a very busy freeway so being outside is very noisy but it didnt bother me when I was in my room. All in all I would stay there again when in that area.

We had a great stay! The room was super clean, the front desk concierge was helpful for all questions. We used the laundry machines at the front quick and simple to use, plus they have things to purchase if you forgot (like we did for dryer sheets). I read reviews complaining about the noise levels from the AC and highway. It’s not loud at all, and being close to the highway sure you hear some traffic but it’s like white noise. I really loved the locked gate they had which is only accessible with your room key, made us feel more secure about our rental car in the parking lot. Thanks for a wonderful and trusted hotel stay!

The room was very clean. I had asked for housekeeping to clean each day but that didn’t happen. I was there for three nights and had run out of towels. A call to the front desk quickly remedied that. They brought clean ones. It’s a very nice property and I’ve stayed there many times.

Also, the walkway to the elevator is outside and dark, so it's not secure, and the inside of the elevator was dirty.

Staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean, and had plenty of lighting in the room. The shower water pressure was excellent! I liked that there was a tub mat provided. I love bathrooms where the sink and mirror are outside of the toilet and shower area. So it was nice to be able to do our hair and makeup while others took showers. The location seems sketchy but it’s a pretty close drive to plenty of restaurants and the freeway. There was plenty of parking but the parking lot was extremely extremely tight. All spaces are pretty much compact car spaces. I tried parking in the gated area area but there are only 10 spaces or so.

The beds were absolutely terrible they both sagged in several lications and the pillows were like rocks! None of us slept a wink! Worst part is, it was Mothers day! Never again!!

Rodent traps outside, never saw one though. Pool would have been better heated to be usable. Parking situation is not terrible but people definitely all want the inside gated parking. Bed was a bit hard but what you'd expect.

The hotel is in the middle of a food desert. There are no restaurants or food stores nearby. The only place to eat was a junk food restaurant (Jack in the Box) about a quarter mile away. The pool was not heated so it was cold; big downer there.

This is my go to hotel when I visit Burbank. They have everything you need even a little restaurant downstairs serving Cuban food and American breakfast. The only downside is that they did not have free breakfast, but that’s not a big problem. The rooms are very nice and very clean and spacious.

The room was beautiful the staff was nice and the lobby was clean and had snacks. However our room was next to the elevator and it was extremely loud and I could even hear the dings from inside my room. We only stayed one night but if you didn’t stay in that room I’m sure the stay would have been lovely

One of the biggest challenges was the lack of dining options. There were no restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel’s own restaurant was closed during my stay. The only food available on-site consisted of unhealthy snack options. When I asked for alternatives, a staff member suggested ordering takeout through Uber Eats or DoorDash, which still limited choices mostly to fast food like pizza. In the morning, there was no fresh coffee available in a common area, only a basic in-room coffee machine with powdered creamer, which didn’t feel like an adequate substitute. Additionally, the room had an unpleasant smell that lingered throughout my stay, and the window could not be opened to let in fresh air, which made the situation worse. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, especially in terms of comfort and basic amenities. They did have a free shuttle to the airport which was very convenient.

Overall, it was a good stay, nice location, friendly staff. I did enjoy how they gave us the complementary bottles of spray on their deodorant to conquer the California heat. The beds were comfy and the water pressure and the shower was amazing. Definitely will stay again.

It is an older property but it is very well kept. The staff were fantastic, I forgot to pack bar soaps, no problem they gave us plenty to use through our stay. Beds were comfy and neighborhood was quiet. Walmart, Costco, Target and all the food choices you could want are very close by.

This room was $150 per night, which for the area was really good. The room was large & pretty basic, but fit our needs. Room was clean with a great shower - water pressure was strong! Had a fridge & free wifi. Parking was easy. I had accidentally booked 2 rooms when I only needed one. A lot of properties would have charged me for both, but the person who checked us in was nice enough to XLD the add'l room with no charge. All in all, if I need to stay in Burbank again, I'll stay here.

Convenient near-to-airport hotel with clean, modernized spacious rooms and friendly staff. The hotel also arranges a Lyft ride to the airport for guests, which was much appreciated! Warning, however: the hotel restaurant is only open for breakfast despite the Google listing (and the street sign for the hotel) stating "breakfast lunch and dinner". The hotel is a fair (and possibly a little unsafe at night) walking distance from any restaurants. We had to pay for an Uber to and from a restaurant for dinner the night we stayed at this Ramada before an early morning flight. Otherwise, this was a good experience and we would recommend this hotel.

Close to the airport Pillows could be different. They were small but still comfortable. Fix the flooring in one small area at bathroom entry. Slightly coming up. My sock was snagged on it.

Nearby restaurants within a mile. For an older property that has been renovated, this is a very good value for the price. It feels safe and have 24 hour security. There is a restaurant onsite but didn't try it. The staff is professional and courteous. If you get a room that is facing the freeway, it could be a bit noisier but bearable.

Pillows were old and were definitely not comfortable, I had tried several but none of them was good enough. Bathroom fixtures were very old. Most troubling part was the nonstop cracking sound from AC Fan, like buzzing electricity. I reported that after check in and they sent some one who couldnt communicate in English. So he came and after few mins, shown some phone signs to us and then left.We never heard back if its going to fixed or room change can happen. We were also told by front desk, that this is general pattern in all rooms(which means all rooms have same problem). Don't know if it's due to very old AC's or issues with few rooms only as we never got a chance to check other rooms. Next day I went to universal early morning and came back in evening and called front desk again, i was then told that you were offered another room and you didnt wanna move, which was a surprise to me as no one reached out to me offering other room. Also, I was told that if I have any issues I should speak to General Manager next day. Now, there was no point to talking any one at the day of checkout, it wouldn't have helped in anything. I hardly slept both nights and decided that I wont ever stay here again.

Even after returning late and not finding a parking spot, the man in the front desk ran outside and moved some cones and made a parking just to accommodate me and my family. The room was very clean . It seemed to be an older style of hotel, but the room was comfortable. It would have been nice to be told of interior parking instead of street parking. We were not told and were reluctant to just park in an unsecured area.

Everything was good except the TV that was not new and we were not able to watch YouTube or Netflix.

Walked in the room and immediately smelled the cleaning products used to mip the floor. The room was okay, didn't wow us when we walked in, but you get what you paid for. My kids and I felt safe. Hotel was accessible and nearby to shopping outlets and local dining, including theme parks like Universal Studios Hollywood. The closet doors didn't stay shut; kept sliding open. There was no lock to the bathroom door. No microwave but it did have a small refrigerator. Stay was ok and provided us with a place to stay and rest.

I was sad they don’t do any type of breakfast anymore. Even just some free coffee in the mornings is not too much for your guests.

Pretty satisfied. Room was very clean. We stayed Saturday to Tuesday. Beds were super comfortable. I use my own bedding and always wear slippers so no comment on how clean floors were or sheet comfortablility. But got us checked in quick and had no issues while there! Would stay again.

The hotel is very quiet even though it’s near the highway. The building looks older, but don’t let that fool you. Everything inside is so nice and clean. The rooms are really big. The beds were really comfy! Love that they have parking area gated.

Just want to start by saying the staff was very pleasant. Easy check in and out. Free parking on site is a plus in California. It was about 20 min drive to universal studio which was the reason for our stay. It is off the freeway and airport, you can hear some cars but not too bad. The room was clean no smells and rooms look renovated. We would stay here again for the price.

The roof was comfortable. The beds so comfortable too. The bathroom was outdated. The water pressure wasn’t great and most water was coming from the tub faucet not the shower head when showering. The A/C and heater was extremely loud and rattled. The front desk was nice and check in was super quick. All in all, I’d most likely stay here again.

We arrived at the hotel after dark and from the outside, I honestly was a little worried that the place was sketchy. But when we got inside it was an entire different feel. The lobby was nice and the staff was friendly and efficient. Our room appeared to have been recently updated and was clean and comfortable. We didn’t use the pool but it and the area around it looked lovely. There was plenty of parking and we were able to park near a door close to our room. I recommend this hotel.

I was impressed by how clean the room was. It’s in a very convenient location central to many things. Check in was easy and the staff was welcoming and friendly. It is a little noisy due to its proximity to the freeway but when traveling throughout the day it is very convenient to be so close to a major freeway. They have a delicious cuban restaurant on site. Overall we had a great stay. Great value for the price.

The staff was friendly and professional. There's a few things we didn't like. The noise from our room. I think its coming from the AC or plumbing system. The handle from the faucet sink was terrible, it was hard to adjust from hot and cold. The housekeeper forgot to put shampoo and conditioner. We can also hear the people next door and since its closed by the freeway we can hear all the cars passing by especially the loud ones.

Room was clean. We could not sleep people in other rooms were loud running around all hours of the night. Staff was loud when cleaning rooms. We could hear too much noise from the freeway. We did not sleep much at all the 2 nights we stayed. We also saw a rat outside on property. We did let management know.

Everything was great except for one of the mornings after we got home at 2am from Universal Studios, the housekeeping staff had their carts outside of our room and were loudly talking to each other at 7:30am-9:00am. It would have been nice to be respectful of guests to have stored the carts away from guest rooms and have been quieter at early times right outside rooms. They do know which ones are occupied.

I was so pleasantly surprised by my experience at this hotel! The room was super comfy and everything was incredibly clean. The staff even went so far as to coordinate transport for me to and from the Burbank airport which conveniently was super close. I highly recommend this place!

The outside smelled a little odd and could have been upkept a little better, but I also recognize that outside halls are hard to take care of, and outside smells are hard to defend against. Staff was very nice though, and check in and out was a breeze. They were also very accomodating for my friend’s handicap placard.

There was an issue with the reservation and my card. This was quickly resolved by the staff by the next morning. We stay here every time we come to LA. Wonderful restaurant!!

The man at the front desk that checked me in was very polite and helpful. He scheduled an uber to transport me to the Burbank airport. The hotel has a contract with ride share companies versus their own shuttle, which is included in the room price. The drive was only 5min. The room was extremely clean and comfortable.

However, they leave the dirty laundry sitting outside some of the rooms on the first floor, so I’m not sure if that is what’s causing a very bad smell of garbage as you’re walking from the lobby to the rooms. No kitchen here. No complimentary/continental breakfast. Just a restaurant on site. No one was in there all week. Room was clean. Not a hotel. Its a motel right off of the highway exit and very noisy. Rooms walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors. For the price its okay. I'd rather not stay right off of the highway. Plus there was no where to walk in the mornings. Very commercial area.

Going by what it looks like the building itself me and my family were iffy but as soon as we walked into our rooms 1 king the other 2 beds were surprised it was so roomy big and so clean and nice we loved our stat the pictures on the website don’t justify it we will be coming back we traveled as a family and kids with us it was quiet no problems no loudness we felt safe
