Reviews
The hotel has a unique and beautiful decor, with a friendly and helpful staff. However, the property is outdated and in disrepair, with frequent issues in the rooms such as flooding, broken furniture, and dirty conditions. The hotel still charges premium rates despite these issues.
- Unique and beautiful decor

The Hotel was very good , the room really big and nice, the breakfast lightly, I was in this hotel 13 years ago and I saw the change , before was 10 start now just 4.
- 3/5
Lovely property but in a state of flux with new ownership. Problems : no internet at all in our room. We reported it but it was not fixed. Some outlets not working or plug falls out. Bed was very uncomfortable…old and no support. Fewer room amenities than average hotel. Good: shower was nice and clean, sinks clean, room was clean etc. There was always great coffee in the lobby. Very nice places to sit and do work since we had no internet in the room. The breakfast was just so so.
- 4/5
I loved the garden peaceful feel.

The room was clean. The entire staff was nice to talk with. Breakfast was good. A real commitment to maintenance of the unique property. I would stay again!
- 2/5
It appears the facility may be restoring the building. But there were gross stains on the “couch” in our room. The walls were all banged up and looked gross and I was afraid of what might get on me in the bed. We were in the 3rd floor and maybe they haven’t worked on that floor yet. The floorboards were gone and the wallpaper was tearing. I would not stay there again if other options were available.
- 3/5
It was okay, but I would not stay here again.
- 1/5
The room was filthy and several things were broken and damaged. The shower was very stained. There was no coffee maker. Breakfast options were slim. Be advised - this property is nothing like it appears online!
- 4/5
Very unique Historic place. We really enjoyed our stay.
- 2.5/5
The location to the airport The small bland room. It felt like I was in a prison cell. When I opened the curtains, I was looking at a brick wall.
- 1/5
Beautiful foyer. It ends there!! Very dirty, tried to double charge me, rude staff.have pictures to share how bad it was! They should have paid me to stay in that room. Only window is to foyer. Couldn’t open curtains. Some lights didn’t work.
- 1/5
Very old and run down. Overall feeling of dirty. Certainly not worth the money! The focus of the Hotel is around the presentation of the lobby area. The rooms are run down and in need of upgrades. Spend some money so people will want to stay here!
- 1/5
Don't go here it was probably cool at some point but now it's terrible. They are doing renovations but idk if that will help.
- 3/5
Room was dark lamp was not available, terrible stain and carpet smell on one side of the room telephone did not work and staff was not very nice when asked to address my issues and I was not mean at all I said please and thank you

The room had broken light fixtures the shower knob was broken, When Additional Towels Were Requested the hotel attendant advised that there was no room service available. The Hallways were noisy throughout the night and in the morning

The whole place was elegant & clean. Check-in went easy. Only complaint was we scheduled the shuttle to the airport for 5 am on the night we arrived; also double-checked it the night before departure. Shuttle didn't arrive, told my name was not on the list! Then, the driver forgot to close the back doors!....we were lucky our luggage was not all over the highway.
- 1/5
The shower was large and plenty of hot water The room was horrible. Seemed like they were going to renovate or something but never did! Stripped of pictures, no coffee pot like they said, floor dirty, bed hard
- 5/5
Vintage A lil dusty and need more snacks in the front area
- 1/5
Didn't end up staying there , lobby was beautiful, rooms not so much . Please read reviews before choosing this nasty dirty place
- 4/5
The hotel was nice. the room was good dated and had an order when you walked in. staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Our bed didn't have pillow cases on the pillows. Everything was clean and it probably was a grand hotel at one time, but it needs some updates. It was very quiet. The price was very reasonable compared to the rest of the hotels in the Buffalo area this time of the year.
- 4/5
The public areas are beautiful. This hotel is clearly a work in progress and they're doing a great job. The free breakfast is underwhelming. Options are very limited. The room we were in was clearly not updated yet.
- 1/5
Outdated, got to our room and the lampshade was all broken, mattress on one bed was the worst ever and like no springs left in the mattress. You were basically sitting on the box spring. Air conditioning not working in the room. After maintenance never coming after talking to the front desk and them saying we have no other rooms, after 45 mins they finally gave us another room which the air was working and mattress were better. Would not recommend.
- 2/5
The girl who checked us in was not very pleasant. Our room was on the ground floor and faced an interior courtyard so we could not see outside at all. We couldn't even open the curtains because people walking by could see right into our room. Te included "Hot" breakfast was scrambled eggs and some kind of beige sausage patty that tasted like sage. None of the beautiful fountains outside the entrance were operational. Never again.
- 4/5
El baño excelente. El aire acondicionado no funciona bien deben cambiarlos. Excelente localizacion y estacionamiento si llegas en auto. Personal del front desk poco explicativo. Personal del desayuno continental poco amable.

Lightning in parking lot makes me feel safe. Price is affordable and usually the room is ok for that price except this time. AC in our room did not work. I opened a window and thought it might be ok but it was so hot. I should have asked for new room if there was one. No one slept before a very important softball game. Light at the bed turned on and off when you put something on and off the stand under it. One queen bed was fine. Other had a hole in the center so my wife and I constantly rolled into each other, which is definitely not what she wanted to do all night. I guess I learned my lesson, this place is ok for me on some personal trips, but not my family. Especially before a major softball tournament.
- 2.5/5
Room was old, not renovated.
- 3/5
The entrance was beautiful, the check-in time flexible. The room didn't seem very clean, the chair was worn out and broken, the bed way too soft. The walls has some stains. I could hear people talking loudly at night.
- 4/5
Nice place. Everyone was helpful and shuttle driver to airport was so sweet
- 5/5
Staff didn’t seem to care to help with anything, our jacuzzi didn’t work so we had to switch rooms, hot water went out for half the hotel, tv didn’t work, no breakfast options available…… not a good stay whatsoever.
- 3.5/5
The rooms are a decent size Rooms are very out dated hotel needs to be updated and the breakfast sucks
- 5/5
The jacuzzi tub was amazing! The bed was so comfortable it was a beautiful hotel
- 3/5
bath was clean and aesthetic was nice my room “wasn’t available” when i arrived so i had to pay and extra $25 to get a room with a tub in it
- 3/5
Our “window” didn’t face anywhere outside, we opened the shade and saw the LOBBY!! NO daylight at all, EVER. So, had to keep the shade closed all the time or anyone and everyone walking in the lobby could see right in our room. It also smelled horrible. Musty smell and when we mentioned it to the front desk, all they did was spray deodorizer which lasted maybe a couple hours. We don’t plan on staying there next year when we go back to Buffalo.
- 3/5
Property is clearly under renovation. Room didn't have shampoo or conditioner in the shower, the breakfast is not even close to what it's been in years past, hardly even a continental breakfast with a jug of milk just sitting on the counter.
- 0.5/5
Clean Furniture was stained, mismatched and in deplorable condition, TV was not programmed, bed was not centered on the headboard, air conditioner did not work. No hot water in the shower. Fixtures were so high on the wall, they were not accessible.
- 4/5
Great location! Good value The new squishy mattresses werent good for my back. I had to switch to a standard mattress
- 5/5
Well kept and a great price considering I booked it on the day I needed the room
- 4/5
We did love the courtyard, bed was very comfortable & staff friendly & helpful. We're hoping they'll invest in some more careful maintenance soom.
- 4/5
The most remarkable component about this hotel was the charm related to the architecture (the interior garden-like vibe, the exterior statues, the grand chandelier), but this specific offering doesn't provide more than the typical hotel experience beyond that point. This isn't a hindrance on the establishment, as the staff were respectful and the food/coffee was serviceable (in our package, breakfast was not available). The glass sink is a unique design choice (my brother said it sucked). I would gladly recommend for people to visit this hotel, and if given the opportunity would rebook here.

Paid for an upgraded room days before arriving- was given the wrong room upon check-in. Brought it to the attention of staff and was told it was the correct room. Showed the front desk the upgrade confirmation and was advised that they didn’t have any other rooms available, they were under “remodel”. Was told that one would be clean 2 hours after check-in. Was told we’d be moved without charge. Got another room and it was wrecked; the fire place was out of order, curtains ripped and wouldn’t close, refrigerator was dirty with the freezer frozen over with ice, mirrors all over the room were cracked, most of the lights didn’t work, and the couch in the room was so dirty. No breakfast was available as offered. The whole experience was so awful we left a night early. Got home and they charged my credit card an extra $238. The whole experience was unpleasant.
- 3/5
The room was very clean & but at a very affordable price. The breakfast was very basic by at least they had some bagels & coffee.
- 3/5
The room was not to be desired there was mold on the ceiling in the corner by the windows. The window curtains were dusty and cobwebs on the wall. The bathroom has mold on the floor and many cracked tiles. The furniture is worn and looks abused. The staff was extremely helpful though and what I had seen the lobby was clean. The place is 30 years old though so I understand some issues but the cleanliness I believe could have been better.
- 3/5
Property seems to be under renovation and needs upgrades. Staff was nice and friendly. Outside doors on the side of building not locked or secured. Room smelt like cigarettes, probably from years ago.
- 1/5
This is my second time staying here. This experience was horrible. The mattress protector was stained the jacuzzi one of the jets did not work. The shower water was COLD. When I told by the front desk at about 5:45 that housekeeping was gone for the day and that she had none in the back she would call the housekeeping manager. After about an hour and half I went down because I was leaving to grab food she advised she forgot she will go get it and put it in my room. When I got back the mattress protector was on the bed for ME to put on. The ac unit the buttons were broken as well. So no I will not be staying here ever again
- 4/5
Nice open space. Ice machine not working because of remodeling. Nice size room
- 1/5
Internet did not work, breakfast was terrible, milk was left out in the jug and was warm.
- 5/5
Though the property shows some age I will definitely repeat.
- 5/5
Very good price, great location off the main highway. Great staff!
- 2/5
Was supposed to be a getaway for the kids . Booked a king suite with jacuzzi in the room . 1st issue no elevator in site , the whole hall where our room was located was under ACTIVE CONSTRUCTION. Meaning while we’re trying to relax we hear drills saws workers etc. than the room was clean but dusty and the under under bed topper had a stain of dried blood . Up until this point it was still OK but after about an hour of sitting and listening to construction we smelled sewer.. and it was strong. When speaking to the night desk agent he was very accommodating like it really didn’t matter whether or not we were smelling sewer because ““ it was nothing he can do about it after speaking to my husband and several hours later we were offered either 50$ or to move to a new room . By that time we were completely spent and just took the 50$ off. When checking out the new desk agent said I had an unpaid balance of 5$ from where? He didn’t know and neither did it .
- 5/5
Love garden place
- 1/5
The room had a water leak and the carpet was soaking wet. There was not another room to move to and I was forced to stay in a room that smelled musty.
- 1/5
Realmente el personal no fue el más amable, el desayuno muy básico, no recargaban cuando se acababa. Las habitaciones en cuanto a limpieza 5 de 10, realmente la experiencia fue muy desagradables
- 3/5
I stayed here a few nights. Its vintage nice but very dusty and not clean.. overall great price and services.
- 5/5
It was fantastic
- 3/5
The location is grand for the area and interstate access and the parking pleantiful. Breakfast buffet could be improved. When checking in no mention was done about the breakfast for week and weekends. No mention ofthe bar.
- 3/5
Room was partially cleaned, there was fake money and chip bags under the bed that had clearly been there for a while. Table and dresser drawer in room were broken. Didn't want to seem difficult at the time, but it was not the experience we were looking for. As soon as we woke up we checked out 7 am didn't wait for check out time. Staff needs updated training on proper cleaning . There was so much dust and dirt on the headboard and bed skirt smh.... Not what I expected as a first time customer!! The plus was that our room was located near the entrance where we were able to park and the microwave was directly outside of our room.
- 1/5
The pictures online are false I had a king with jacuzzi and the tv was 32 inches and about 20 years old the window was moldy full of flys
- 3/5
In the morning when we checked out, our room was flagged and we were given a discount for our troubles - again the staff was beyond pleasant and apologized profusely for our inconvenience. Quick note to add - the bed was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on and I woke up with zero back pain.
- 2/5
Was told at check in there was no breakfast included and it was all a la Carte in the morning. We didn’t go to the dining room as a result. On checkout I mentioned that I was disappointed about the breakfast. Was then told that there was a free continental breakfast included from 7-10am. We missed that! Very annoying. Folks this place is tired!! The staff don’t seem that enthusiastic either. I’d pass on this place.
- 2/5
Entrance is grand and beautiful. Great space to take pictures but as we expected the bedrooms were very outdated. Reserved 2 bedrooms. One of the rooms shower was clogged ahich caused water to seep through to the other side of the wall which was rhe bedroom. We had bags on the floor against the wall and didnt realize this until I picked up the duffle bag and saw the entire carpet wet. We arrived around 10pm from a 10hr drive too tired to deal with room switches. On top of that not enough towels in the rooms. Luckily one of the guests brought their own towel but in the second room when we called the front desk they said someone would have to go get the towels at the front desk noone available to deliver them. Front desk wasnt the friendliest during checkin. This was a one night stay. Will not be staying here again.
- 3/5
Nice hot tub
- 4/5
Mucha privacidad lugar tranquilo pero necesita algunos arreglos en los cuartos como las cortinas están rotas y había mucha claridad para dormir.
- 2/5
When I checked in,it was early and they said room was clean and ready to check in aroubd 2, therefore, checked in. When opened the room, it was NOT clean, sheets were piked ontbe bad, garbage still in the room, it was NOT ready. Then, put me in a room that had NO privacy, windows facing the inside sitting and eating area, as i specifically requested privacy when i check in, this was unacceptable either. So, when got to the THIRD ROOM, there was NO instructions on how to even use the TV, the WiFi information was not correct on the information sheet provided at check in. When I called to ask, the staff made me feel stupid and little andbc of this, didn't even bring up thw WiFi as to not be belittled in their passive aggressive way. I have wanted to stay at this hotel for YEARS, finally had the opportunity, and was a complete and utter DISASTER. Will NEVER stay there again. Should have stayed at a different property.
- 3/5
I found 2 pieces of broken glass and a dirty washcloth in the bathroom, and asked for housekeeping but was told they had gone home.
- 3/5
There was a shortage of chairs in the room. WiFi connected to La Quinta hotel next door(?). No suitcase stand in the room … it was mentioned to staff on the phone and also face to face, with no results.
- 3/5
Housekeeping is another issue. Checkout is 11am yet every morning I was there i had a knock on my door at 8am for Housekeeping. While I was still sleeping. I would ask them to come back after 10 or 11 and nothing. A week stay and Housekeeping only came in 2xs to change towels. They give you a VERY small garbage can that might hold some tissue and then your on your own. I had to get my own bags and keep up on my own. Its apparent this hotel has been left to its own while the owners focused on more expensive places, which is a shame. I would expect better and wont stay here again
- 5/5
Hotel rooms are always clean. Beds comfy. Staff I always nice. They appear to be updating a lot as well. Only wish there was a breakfast there!
- 2/5
Breakfast was awful. They offered you some juice out of the container wasn’t cold. Bagels was hard muffins was dried out no local Cable Wi-Fi sucked TV buffered all night couldn’t watch one episode of anything pretty much waste of money
- 2/5
Wifi was down throughout the night, fireplace didn't work. TV wouldn't work. Phone had no phone line. Couldn't use to call for room service, issue with TV.
- 5/5
The hotel is in the midst of remodeling, but overall it was a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, our neighbors liked smoking pot and the smell permeated through to our room.
- 3/5
Hosekeeping staff are grumpy, and they leave dirty sheets and towels on the floor outside the rooms they clean. They also do not clean your room or refresh towels. The bed was comfortable; however, the mattresses need to be replaced. My mattress had a pronounced protruding ripple across the whole bed, and sank in the middle. There was no mattress protector, just a fitted sheet, and the mattress was stained. The hallways were being refreshed and were getting new wallpaper applied while I was there. The room gave me Super 8 vibes. Overall, I was disappointed in the room and hotel.
- 2/5
The one positive is the bed was extremely comfortable!
- 1/5
This place is horrible. The staff is lovely and pleasant trying to help but this hotel is literally falling apart. We got there, the internet was not working. Checked in, so no internet means no TV. Could not get the shower to work. Called the front desk only to be told that the strength of 2 people is needed to turn the shower on. Day 2, our toilet literally crumbles and falls apart. Moved to a room with stains on bedding, broken blinds, a leaking sink and spray foam and a large stripe of wood holding the door frame together. The whole hotel is missing baseboards. There are paintings and miscellaneous furniture and unplugged appliances in the halls and stairways. No microwaves in the rooms. Only one was on the first floor in some random utility room. Last morning, woke up with what seemed bug bites on my leg. Go stay at the holiday Inn for the same price.
- 4/5
This hotel had a great historic look to it. The bed was extremely comfortable and the curtains did not let any light in at night.
- 3/5
El cuarto estaba limpio , tenía problemas el televisor con la conexión de internet y el aire acondicionado no cambiaba se 66 grados
- 4/5
It was nice
- 5/5
terrible tv, no live tv
- 3/5
Upgraded me to jacuzzi suite which was nice but hotel in need of major renovation
- 1/5
This hotel needs help! We had a very unpleasant stay that we actually left the property and requested a full refund due to no hot water, failed key cards, bugs in the room, disrespectful staff and all around terrible experience.
- 5/5
Great place to stay with airport shuttle and free parking for the week while away!
- 4/5
The hotel was beautiful. It just needs a little updating and the room need a microwave. I love the charm the old ancient castle vibes, but inside the hotel need some renovation but other than that, I loved it.
- 5/5
Top tier above all expectations
- 4/5
I was disappointed that there was no longer a Continental breakfast. The breakfast they did offer cost money and was in my opinion overpriced for the quality but all in all, I personally could stay here again.
- 3/5
Good staff… just dated hotel.
- 5/5
The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly. They do need to renovate the breakfast service, but besides that everything was great.
- 3/5
My key cards took me 6 to 8 tries every time I entered my room, even after asking for new cards. Perhaps new entry mechanisms or doors would be nice. I hope the new owner can restore he grand facade and shine to this facility. E
- 5/5
Fabulous hotel!!! Amazing venue!
- 4/5
Good place to stay with the right price.
- 2/5
No one was there for the breakfast and no speciality coffee
- 5/5
It has airport shuttle Staff very helpful Close to the airport
- 2/5
There was a lot of parking available. Breakfast wasn't included. There were no amenities in the room such as a microwave, mini fridge, etc. The room smelled absolutely horrible like way too much cleaner was used. I booked the room for my disabled husband so he could soak in the jacuzzi which he used for about an hour and then we booked another hotel to stay at overnight because we could not sleep in the room with such a strong odor.
- 1/5
Upon arriving, we’re told that our room wasn’t available because of overbooking, even though I already paid for the room. Drove hours to get there. Then we go to the Extended stay alternative they moved us too. Guess what ? No room there. We didnt end up staying in any room that I already paid for. Never again.
- 5/5
It was easy and safe
- 4/5
We liked the hotel and it's proximity to restaurants and shopping. It was evident that the hotel is undergoing much needed renovations. All the staff was very helpful. We would not hesitate in staying there again.
- 5/5
Very nice stay
- 3/5
Staff was lovely, but the room, hallways, and mattress are all pretty rough at this point.
- 4/5
Clean and friendly staff
- 3/5
The room did what it needed to for a night, but the carpet on our jacuzzi tub was peeling away, furniture was worn with chips and dents all over it, the tub jets didn’t look clean and the over all hotel seemed a bit sketchy.
- 4/5
We didn't have breakfast. Thought we help ourselves but had to order? Its like restaurant. Thats why we went out for breakfast
- 1/5
There was an employee during our stay who tried to steal money from us during our check in. The safety deposit was $150. I gave the employee 2 $100 bills. She took one of the $100 bills I gave her, put it in a drawer, took a $50 bill out of the drawer and put it along with my other $100 bill into an envelope. When I asked her where my other $50 for change was, she rolled her eyes, said "whatever, I don't even care." Then took the $50 bill back out of the envelope and threw it at me. She then proceeded to write down on the envelope $100 security deposit, still leaving $50 of the money I handed her unaccounted for. Granted the lady this morning when we checked out did make the money situation right but it was the sheer audacity of Ari that really threw me in a bad mood.
- 4/5
Spacious room, comfy bed nice size hot tub and shower.
- 5/5
Do a better breakfast like the other hotel
- 4/5
More selections of tea would’ve been nice.

- 4/5
The staff were all friendly. The room was clean. The hotel is a bit dated, but well maintained. The king room was huge. Plenty of included parking. Short driving distance to many dining options. I let the front desk know the Keurig coffee maker in the room was not working correctly. This is our 4th time staying at this hotel. I think for the price, it's worth it.
- 2/5
Jetted tub didn’t work properly Water issue we weren’t told about but overheard another customer complaining and had the same issue Moldy carpets Blood stained sheets Makeup stained pillow cases Outlets loose Popped a circuit using provided blow dryer Had to pass 2 nonfunctional ice machines Website offered bar/lounge but nonexistent Building under construction and was not advertised
- 2/5
I am glad someone bought it. It needs some love. My room was horrible!!!
- 2/5
Room was not as advertised, they remodeled and removed jacuzzi tub that is advertised in the room. The shower stall that is now in the room was in poor condition, tiles falling from wall, drain grate was not secured and bolt for it stuck up and has the potential to injure someone severely. Dressers, night stands, and lamps in room are in poor quality and are also falling apart. Room overall felt dirty and unclean as trash and dirt and debris were seen throughout whole room. Would not stay again, would not recommend.
- 3/5
Everything was good except for we noticed the beds did not have mattress covers which threw us off a little. And our fan in the bathroom was broken. Other than that we enjoyed our room and our stay!
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and the staff was very polite.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
The decor and overall vibe were incredible. But the building overall needs some TLC. Our jaccuzi had faulty piping with water leaking and panneling falling off. Everything else was wonferful!
- 2/5
Overall the hotel looked nice on the outside . We went to our room and I started to fill the hot tub up and there was black hair floating I don’t have black hair I emptied it I filled it again there was hair and maybe skin floating by this time we were grossed out . I emptied it again and had to wash it myself and filled it and then emptied it again to make sure it was clean . We had opened the fridge and there was 4 boxes of old takeout food who knows how long they were in there . There was a spider on corner of the bed in the sheet which it was probably there for like who knows how long . The outside of the hot tub was not clean . The bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice , but was black hair in the shower again wasn’t mine . Grabbed the wash cloths none had to call on my cell phone to get wash cloths . Went to grab the hair dryer and there was a black sock was not mine or my husbands . We decided to take a walk and walked down the stairs from the 3rd floor I noticed wallpaper ripped and black mold …… I just can’t . It completely ruined it for us . Oh and also we parked by the exit door so we could just go out of that and the doors were not locked !! We came back at 8:30 and still was not locked . These are side doors . Was not a good experience .
- 2/5
Signs everywhere "please pardon our dust during renovations"... but there were no renovations in sight. Just a run down/aged hotel. Our door said honeymoon suite on a plaquard, we had a hot tub where 7 of the 8 jets barely worked and the 8th did nothing. You could tell this was once a nice hotel, but now it is aged, bearing marks on the wall, dilapidated furniture and failing amenities (barely working hot tub in the room, microwave non-responsive, refrigerator lit up but did not get cold and TV remote that turned the TV on but nothing else).
- 4/5
Parking was fine. Did not stay for breakfast.
- 5/5
It was a great stay! Just room had no phone to call front desk and room had a weird smell. But very clean and in great area
- 5/5
It was a fast stay! Loved the hotel it’s beautiful! Staff was super nice!!! Room was very clean and ready for you!
- 4/5
The hotel is changing hands and there are some improvements needed but they are working on them. My only complaint the phone number listed is not a direct line to hotel and they advertise contential breakfast but its a pay for breakfast
- 3/5
My room was clean up until it started flood. It didnt matter the room change my room flooded. My second room shower leaked from the cracks with my actual shower off. The doorway to enter/exit my room was soaked. Messed up a few socks and bottoms
- 2/5
Staff was excellent, wi-fi was really bad, toilet kept running, someone came to repair it, but still wasn't working properly.
- 4/5
Lovely staff from the shuttle and front desk. I'll say this, it's seen better days.
- 4/5
the hotel is nice
- 5/5
Clean, spacious rooms, amazingly friendly staff, free airport shuttle was amazing. The downfall, no restaurant/bar, but there are places in the area and the shuttle will take you and pick you up.

I was in Buffalo because my mom passed away this was the last thing I needed!! Also only 2 towels were in the room for 2 people! So everyday we had to ask for clean towels to take a shower! I have never stayed in a hotel that didn’t have three or four towel for two people! Or that the room wasn’t cleaned daily!!
- 1/5
On my most recent visit, a man tried breaking into my hotel room. Management is impossible to get ahold of. Genuinely, I don't think they have a manager, because no one seems to be able to get them. I have attempted 5 calls, and have received 0 return calls. They are lying and saying I checked out at 10:57 when I had to leave in the middle of the night at 12:30. Never stay here.
- 1/5
It was not good and nobody has returned my emails.
- 4/5
Great staff, nice clean place, rooms are a litt
- 2/5
This place is run down and not what is advertised. You should check it out . Peeling wall paper and dust everywhere. Not alot of staff around. We did stay here but sub-par conditions.
- 1/5
The hot water was hit or miss. The jacuzzi tub was disgusting. The walls in the room were completely scratched and you could see where they use to be pictures or something. I was absolutely disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this crap hole to my worst enemy.
- 1/5
Not as advertised. No bar, very dated, room had a very bad musty smell, shower curtain was not nearly long enough and bathroom flooded during shower, the body wash dispenser was broken off the wall of the shower. There was some sort of domestic dispute in the room next to us which started at 5:00 am in the morning which lasted until 7:30 am. Called the front desk who had to come to our room at 5:00 am to listen. They tried calling the room and knocking but no one would answer. Asked for a refund but told us that since we booked through Hotels.com that we had to reach out to them. Unsure how this is applicable but anyways that is what we were told. After further questions/discussion is was discovered that his property changed hands recently and I would not suggest staying at this property.
- 5/5
The Spa in our room helped us relax. It was a great touch to our rough day!
- 1/5
20 years ago this hotel was outstanding! It has been neglected and needs a great deal of TLC!
- 3/5
Staff were amazing and very friendly. There was one microwave we could use in a different hall that didn't work when we tried. The wifi was spotty. The room was clean and we were able to get extra towels when we asked. It is definitely a unique place and the garden was really cool.
- 3/5
Shower head broken
- 5/5
Great service will stop again
- 1/5
It stunk, did not look like the pictures at all and the sinks weren’t draining
- 1/5
The room we booked the lights and hot tub didn’t work at all. Hotel switched our room and we get inside it and nothing but dust rub barely worked, at least the lights worked and the walls were pealing around edges of the ceiling and tub framework. Along with that the fireplace didn’t work and the amenities were ok if they worked as well. Coffee pot didn’t work and covered in dust. Room floor had filth all over it and hot tub was dirty as well. I cleaned it out myself before realizing it barely worked.
- 5/5
Great place to spend time with your love one
- 2/5
Room did not have hot water for almost 12 hours our first night there. It was difficult getting expedia in touch with the hotel. The number expedia has for the hotel is incorrect. Also, the jacuzzi was the only reason we booked the room. Not only dis we not have hot water but the jacuzzi did not work properly all the time. Bad jets and the jacuzzi had nasty dirty bubbles from the jets. It ended up giving me a uti.
- 3/5
Idk. I didn't use laundry services or the airport shuttle
- 1/5
Our experience at the Garden Place Hotel was awful. When we arrived at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, front desk staff had to check to see if our king room was ready. We were given room 233. As soon as we opened the door to the room, we could see the sag in the bed - it looked like a hammock. I have never before requested a room change but there was no way. I went back to the front desk and was informed there were no other king rooms ready. We opted for a double queen instead. We got to the new room and had no hot water. Called the front desk and was told the boiler was restarted and it should be hot shortly. It was but we got up in the morning and had no hot water again. This time we were told that repair had been called and the only option was to try a different room. We were offered a late checkout but decided to just move on with our day. Very disappointing as we had actually read other recent reviews and thought about canceling but eventually opted to keep our reservation. Definitely a mistake! The staff who we encountered were friendly and doing their best. The property is currently under renovation but they have a ways to go.
- 1/5
The health department should close this place down!I booked a stay for the weekend, I checked in and went toy room and there were cockroaches, went to the desk got another room, there was stains all over the carpet and mold and the room smelled horrible, next room they put I'm in did not smell, did not have roaches or a carpet. This room had blood and urine on the mattress,
- 1/5
Wallpaper peeling with black mold behind it, hot water only worked for about an hours time the entire stay. We booked a suite with a jet tub and couldn’t use it because by the time we chose to there was no hot water , couldn’t shower, couldn’t wash my face , couldn’t brush my teeth , and couldn’t enjoy the amenity fkr the reason of booking to begin with. By the time the hot water was working it was 2:30-2:45am and I was not staying up that late with a place that lacks breakfast as well. Anniversary mini night get away and worst experience ever.
- 2/5
As I stated, the room was in poor condition.
- 2/5
The room was clean. Sink didn’t drain. Window didn’t close all the way about 1/2 inch crack so had to have heat blasting. Dresser handles broken. Bed and pillows comfortable. Overall this place was quiet but I’m not happy about the amenities being absent. They need to drop price per night by at least 50.00/ night until those amenities are fixed. Fix the description in add because definitely not as advertised.
- 4/5
Staff was excellent, room was spotless. The condition of the room was poor. Half the outlets were hanging out of the wall. And they didnt work. I understand the hotel is under renovation but that is something that should be stated in your reviews when suggesting a hotel. Let the guest decide if they want to breathe in the dust or not.
- 1/5
No power when I arrived. Was never given a key to the room and was asked to just leave out room door open. Did not have cable tv for the entire stay
- 3/5
Hotel needs major work.
- 5/5
Wonderful staff! Wonderful room!! Beautiful hotel! Will come again. Affordable too.
- 1/5
Room was noisy with the heater, didn't get the room cleaned when asked, mold in the shower area, vanity sink leaked. Dirty rugs. Lost power.
- 1/5
They downgraded my room
- 1/5
The room bed frame was broke, then changed rooms and the bathrm & jacuzzi was filthy dirty
- 2/5
Right from the beginning you can see water damage going through the halls. There was water damage in the room but the room was very much still full price. About 30 minutes after we checked in the power went out (not the hotels fault there but helped contribute to overall unsatisfied result). Due to the remod
- 3/5
Unfortunately for the hotel, and for us, there was a big power outage caused by high winds on the first night. That meant no lights, no wifi, no tv and no hot water. We were excited about the jacuzzi tub, but no power and no hot water meant no jacuzzi. We were disappointed, but you can't control nature. That being said, some sort of an apology or compensation or something would've been appreciated. Our room was fine, a little banged up, but fine. The bed was really comfy and everything was clean. We didn't have any shampoo or body wash, but we always bring our own anyways. Someone should probably check those though before they say the room is ready. Before the power outage we explored the hotel and saw some interesting things. I'm pretty sure that people live there or something. We were on the first floor and the hallway totally smelled like people were just smoking grass all day. We're allowed to smoke grass in hotel rooms now? And there's totally something sketchy going on at night, with a lot of people going in and out of the back entrance. It wasn't a horrible stay, just not what we were expecting. Like I said, a renovation would help a lot. Just make sure to keep the tackiness, that was a huge draw for us!
- 5/5
Ok
- 1/5
The rooms were very out dated, dirty, the place is nothing as it looks online there are several safety issues. The carpets a buckled causing trip hazards. The rooms cieling began leaking water, the heat/air stinks of mold or mildew. When plugging in cell phone noticed then bed where the matress meets the head board was so disgusting with dust confedi hair and finger nails. The 2 nights wr booked we ended up leaving for another hotel, the first night due to lack of power or heat at the hotel, the second due to the conditions of the room/hotel. They had ceiling tiles hanging from the ceiling safety equipment such as fire lights and alarms handing off the wall and construction debis throughout the halls. Most if not all ice machines were non working. They hand no duvet on the beds instead a blanket wrapped in 2 flat sheets. When asking for a refund/ compensation I was offered a new room and told it was a down grade from what I already had, I then asked how to get refunded and I was told the manager who has to approve this would be in in the morning. After speaking to another employee I was told that was false and that the manager ( the only one who can offer refunds) was out of the country for a month in London so a refund was now not available at all. The website doea not offer pictures that dictates the actual dispair of this hotel. Further more it stated there is an on site bar/ restaurant which is false that is 1 mile down the road. Runined what should be a happy getaway!!!
- 2/5
While the staff members were incredibly kind and did their best to assist, the physical state of the room was unacceptable. We had no hot water for the duration of our stay, and the cold water faucet was broken. Additionally, a power outage left us without heat for several hours during winter storm because the property’s generator is undersized for its operational needs. I’m giving two stars solely because of the staff's efforts, but the lack of basic amenities made for a very uncomfortable stay.
- 2/5
Need to update
- 1/5
Booked the jaccuzi room and guess what no hot water for the entire night terrible stay i don’t recommend it at all.
- 1/5
There was no Hot Water for the first night, I had to leave and go elsewhere for a shower. I should receive some sort of refund, or some benefit. Its not Expedia's fault, but It was a huge problem, my wife left completely.
- 2/5
Black mold on the ceiling, room very old and outdated. Door barely closed
- 4/5
Clean rooms friendly staff
- 5/5
Beautiful, shower was amazing
- 4/5
Clean room. Very comfy bed!
- 2/5
We stayed there many years ago and it was a million times better. But won’t be staying there again. They wanted extra money for breakfast. And most of the menu wasn’t available and the food wasn’t good. Plus could only pay cash for the breakfast sandwich.
- 5/5
Great room and nice staff. Plenty of restaurants in the area
- 1/5
Very old and needs remodeling bad
- 1/5
Stains on mattress chairs out dated! Dirty old smelled!!!
- 5/5
Quick, courteous check-in. Jacuzzi room was affordable, comfortable and clean. Highly recommend.
- 1/5
Staff put me in a room they knew the hot water didnt work in then moved me a day later to a room with a broken tv and cockroaches and then never rectified the situation. Worst experience ever. I finally had enough and just left. Staff were very unattentive to what was wrong in their hotel.
- 4/5
Rooms are amazing but the breakfast could have been way better
- 1/5
There was cars in the parking lot that looked like they were there forever(abandoned) No complementary breakfast. The lounge area looked nice but as soon as you walk towards the rooms it looked like a prison. Jacuzzi had a huge crack in the tub and the intake of the tub when you turned it on would literally suction you to the side and it hurt. No microwave in the room. The bed was comfortable but the sheet just kept coming off of the bed. For 260 dollars a night. I would have expected much more….
- 5/5
Staff was great 👍
- 2/5
No hot water first night, strong smell of pesticides all weekend, and jacuzzi was run down and not working well enough to be anything more than a bath... Mini fridge froze everything we had in there over the first night... Beds need updated as well as they were very uncomfortable and you could really feel the springs... We were told they were giving us a discount for our troubles but were not told how much and I feel like half the cost should be refunded for all of these problems...
- 5/5
The room was clean. The Jetted tub was functional. It took a little bit for the water to get hot, but once it did get hot it delivered a great experience. The staff was responsive and provided realistic expectations for meeting our needs.
- 2/5
For the price for the rooms, we had nothing that was complimentary. All of the breakfast was expensive, the phone in the room didn’t work, the wifi is really bad. We didn’t even have body wash for the shower. I don’t recommend coming here. The Jacuzzi was nice in the room though. That’s about it
- 1/5
We checked in at about 8pm, then went to dinner heading back to the hotel at 10pm. The room was beyond disgusting. Maintenance upkeep on the room is something that is not kept up. There was no hot water in our Jacuzzi suite and we were told that the boiler was down an to give them "time" to get it back up and running. We checked out at 1am because there was still no hot water. When checking out there was no General Manager to talk to so I could get a check out receipt, I was told they could not give me a receipt stating the time i checked out because their audit was not completed yet. I was handed a handwritten paper of who to call after 8am to talk to about a refund. When i called i was told they can give me a 30% discount. When I asked why not a full refund i was told after 30 minutes of being in the room they can no longer give me a full refund. I explained that the front desk clerks told me to give it "time" but they did not care and refused the refund. To be told to give it "time" and then to be refused a refund because I did what the front desk told me to is beyond ridiculous and feels more like a scam so they can get away with not refunding money because of their own lack of upkeep, Maintenance and proper staffing of their property. For the price they charge I would not recommend this hotel.
- 4/5
The staff was very nice. The room was clean.

The staff was excellent the two rooms were terrible 🤔
- 2/5
The jacuzzi didn’t work
- 5/5
Great for the price!
- 5/5
wonderful front desk staff Michelle. Coffee and water available in the lobby.
- 4/5
Always an enjoyable stay. Staff are very nice.
- 3/5
Front desk staff was very cordial.
- 2/5
The room was dirty, both sinks leaked, the fire alarm was missing with wires hanging where the smoke detector should have been. Used water bottle on the floor under the bed. Construction workers painting hallway, replacing carpet. Outside door entry code box was hanging from wall and door would not shut meaning anyone could enter. There was no parking available for guests because the lot I was told is used as a park and fly. I was told the hotel was sold last July. It was a terrible experience and did not feel safe.
- 1/5
Additionally, the ice machine on our floor was broken. The one on the first floor was also broken. I had to find one in a different wing on a different floor. The renovations going on, rugs and decor strewn all over the halls and stairwells wouldn’t have phased us. The life machines would have been annoying and frustrating. But what we experienced waking up in the morning was unacceptable.
- 4/5
The entrance/ the lobby was beautiful and welcoming change from all the modern/boring hotels. The hallways were being remodelled but have potential. The room was nice and spacious. Good overall
- 1/5
Hotel bed was bowed, hallways were dirty, smelled like cheap cigarettes, no tv channels. Did not spend the night it was giving chelsea hotel vibes
- 3/5
Rooms were clean but showed a lot of wear and tear.
- 2/5
In the morning we realized the shower did not work, it literally did not turn on. No water. Contacted front desk twice to be told someone from Housekeeping would come by. Not sure what they could do that we didn’t already try. It’s a very old style no handle just a button for on/off and button temps to turn on the shower. Waited over 30 mins as we packed to leave. Apparently many rooms either didn’t have running water or only had cold water. We get it it’s winter but it wasn’t extreme temps this weekend. Knowing there were problems with water we should have been informed and at least compensated. Will we go back? No.
- 1/5
It took them to take me to four different rooms to get it right rooms are disgusting things don’t work it’s extremely outdated I’m very un happy
- 3/5
Airport parking was very good price. However, our flight was canceled, delayed then canceled again. We just decided to drive. The breakfast was ok. Coffee machine for speciality coffee was broken at cafe. My husband got a cinnamon roll with not just a random hair in it. It was multiple hairs all clumped together. Was a very unpleasant surprise. Overall I would stay again if I had to fly out because parking is cheap and they have a shuttle service. If you wanted to eat at restaurant it was off site and they did offer shuttle but we just drove down the road to anchor bar for some wings and they were great. It is within walking distance but was way too cold.
- 5/5
Great front staff
- 5/5
Definitely an asset to your company
- 3/5
The staff was friendly but the weed smell in the hotel was overwhelmingly strong.
- 4/5
the room was good, big and roomy. Staff were nice. Only there for on night.
- 3/5
Our mattress was awlful was old an dirty. We stay when coming in from out of town and have always had a pillow top. This one was flat completely flat and badly outdated and uncomfortable.
- 1/5
Room wasn’t kept well, the bed was broken and spider infestation in first room, transferred to another room, not much better, there was used bar soap on shower floor and earrings from previous guests left in coffee cups, unfortunately no refunds or I would have left immediately. Very poor quality place
- 4/5
.
- 4/5
Overall, I had a good experience. Worth what I paid. Dated and surreal decor.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 1/5
Other guests left shortly after checking in because their rooms were so disgusting!
- 5/5
clean and nice hotel love the old school look also
- 3/5
There was chipped paint on the walls in the room. Very blah room, so big but nothing in it.
- 5/5
Staff was great. Room was clean
- 1/5
Bed bugs
- 5/5
The room was great bed was so comfy but the lights did bust a breaker so we didn’t have any lights in the am but it was fine we were leaving anyways. We would stay again!
- 3/5
not the hotel it used to be, very outdated room, i asked twice to have my room cleaned, no one ever showed up, wont be staying there anymore
- 3/5
Staff friendly but, no aid sken informed them of clogged sink and broken furniture on check-in.
- 5/5
Hot tub was great
- 4/5
Very clean, friendly staff.
- 1/5
The room was horrible. Mold in the bathroom, broken items all over the room. Got a jacuzzi suite and the tub wouldn't hold water and the jets dod not work. The smells were pretty bad too.
- 5/5
Room was clean and front desk staff was very friendly
- 3/5
Found medications, packages of tissues and pair of gloves from previous guest in room. This was a lovely hotel in the past-now is empty and run down despite good location.
- 3/5
The staff was very friendly and accommodating, but this hotel is extremely dated and in desperate need of updates, especially the carpets throughout. I’m not say the hotel was not clean, but the worn and stained carpets give it that impression.
- 4/5
Nice room, clean . Excellent staff
- 1/5
We requested a handicap accessible room. We were told they woud switch our room the next day. Unfortunately that never happened. Its very difficult to maneuver in the bathroom with a wheelchair. The breakfast was not for free. Also they ran out of clean towels. We had to wait til the next day for the laundry to finish. No management on site or available. Raveen at the front desk made us feel unwelcome. Unfortunately we will not consider this a place for us to stay.
- 5/5
We didn't have breakfast there.
- 5/5
Had to switch rooms due to hot water issue. Front end did a tremendous job rectifying the situation.
- 3/5
Lamps, and heater were broken. I was switched to another room where the heat worked but everything else was inoperable.
- 5/5
The ambience and the chandelier and the bistro walk and the eclectic rooms made the stay relaxing, enjoyable and amazing
- 5/5
Thank you
- 5/5
Cg
- 3/5
Jacuzzi leaked the water out jets disnt wirk properly but other than that stay wqs wonderful
- 1/5
Hotel is old and outdated no maintenance/ they lost my reservation and checked someone else in under my name whom I didn’t even know took over and hour to get a different room and then it was a awful bed not the first time I’ve had a bad experience there will never be back
- 5/5
Improved cleanliness, helpful staff.
- 4/5
This is a great little gem for our weekend shopping getaways to Buffalo. It’s clean it’s quiet, but it’s not your average hotel. The hotel staff is friendly. But there are no restaurants or food services on site. There is a shuttle to their local restaurant and there is a great bar for wings next-door called the anchor bar. It’s conveniently located near the airport and great shopping along the transit road strip.
- 5/5
Very nice place
- 1/5
Check in was good. Room was dated and had disgusting stains on the furniture. Mattress was very old and worn springs were poking through. Very loud fighting in the hall at 3am and only found coffee on site for breakfast. Will never stay here again and do not recommend.
- 2/5
Breakfast options were a useless. But I could have overlooked it if they atleast left coffee pods for the in room machine. And front desk would not send anyone to bring me 2 pods. Avoid this place if possible.
- 5/5
Everything was beautiful
- 5/5
Great staff
- 4/5
Had a great stay! Rooms are a little dated however, nice size rooms. Bed great! Very queit!
- 3/5
Limited staff. Not enough bath towels for a room of 4 during our stay. Nice sitting area in the lobby.
- 5/5
Room is clean. Michelle the lady in the front desk is very nice to us. Thank you!
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful, from check in to check out . took care of all my concerns and issues i had with my stay . Although my room was not very clean i had to go to manger and speak with him regarding the cleanliness of my room . He did resolve the issue for me . Other wise the place was great .
- 5/5
Everything was good I just didn't see anything in the cafeteria
- 5/5
I didn't have breakfast, we've stayed several times..I think we will be back
- 5/5
Great location for getting on the 90 in the morning
- 3/5
Breakfast was terrible
- 1/5
No breakfast, rarely ever a person at the front desk.
- 3/5
Paid for a suit with Jacuzzi. Hours later was told that my room wasn't available and was given a room with an extra be that I could stare at,the same price as the suit. Lucky me. The room wasn't clean, there was mini alcohol bottles in and under one of the beds. Then overcharged my card after I left of course.
- 3/5
Parking was very easy and the room was a decent size. We didn’t try breakfast as there were limited options but did have the coffee each morning which was fine. We only had 2 towels for 2 queen beds and when we requested more we were told they were in the laundry but we never received more. There was also a significant leak above the sink area coming from the pipes/room above us that we reported. They did offer to move us but we were checking out within the hour but it was clear by the ceiling that it had been happening for a while. The hotel was inexpensive when we booked it and is kitschy and unique and was fine for what we needed but it could definitely use some updating and more towels if they have 166 rooms and can’t have more than 2 in their 2 queen rooms. The lounge was not open while we were there which was on a weekend so we could not partake or review it. The workout facilities were small but very clean with a sauna. They seemed to take extra care to clean that area which was nice to see.
- 2/5
24 hours prior to arrival the cancelled the reservation. They offered 2 other properties but both were another 10 mins away from the original hotel. Also the hotel they didn’t offer free breakfast. There was a bistro at the new hotel but no credit for meals was given.
- 4/5
The room was large with nice furniture and very clean. All the staff were friendly. While overall the hotel is dated everything I saw was in good shape and kept up.
- 5/5
Great service as always. The young lady at reception on Christmas day was very polite and sweet. The gentleman also was very helpful with our room upgrade and went beyong our expectations. It was a Merry Christmas indeed!
- 2/5
Room size was generous. Staff very accommodating. The first room had no hot water and the staff gave me another room. The second room had no lighting in the bathroom and over the sink. Again the staff was very kind and upgraded me to the honeymoon suite. This room did have hot water and lighting. The general condition of the hotel is very neglected. The carpets were dirty and decor from the 1990’s. The king bed sagged in the middle and all pillows were hard. The hot tub had a slow leak, I did not use due to questionable safety. The furniture in the room was uncomfortable and very old and worn out. The next morning there was a problem with hot water and it was quickly resolved. Overall I would not advise anyone to stay here. There are so many other options in the area.
- 5/5
Wonderful location, close to family, very convenient to other store, welcoming staff, and comfortable room
- 2/5
We came back for nostalgia, left disappointed. The front desk was not very welcoming. The room was clean, but for sure outdated. I had forgotten what room we were in when I went out for coffee and my key worked on every room tried. Be sure to lock your door! The fireplace didn’t work and you can tell there hasn’t been much investment in years!
- 2/5
Well it's disappointed cuz my husband and I stayed there a few times before I don't feel that the rooms are taken care of like they should be but just scratches on the old furniture that is very easy to fix cracks and holes in jacuzzi tub the faucet came off of trying to turn it she'll let the water down I'll burn mark in the sink on the counter per and no free breakfast so yeah I was disappointed and I probably won't go back
- 5/5
Another great stay!
- 1/5
Also mind you, we had 2 rooms booked right next to each other and they were DRASTICALLY different for something advertised as the exact same. One room had hardwood floors, the other had carpet. The fridges were different, the trash cans, and the TV would also turn OFF every 5-10mins like it would refresh on its own. I decided not to have housekeeping for my room, but we got it done for the other room. Tell me how they only made ONE of the beds and left the other one? AND they also left the TV on when we came back hours later...yes, this hotel may look nice on the outside and in certain areas of the lobby, but it's OUTDATED!
- 5/5
Enjoyed the hot tub excellent value for the price
- 1/5
Management changed. The lady at front desk is very rude.
- 1/5
The hot tub wouldn’t hold water n the drain was making a loud draining noise and the shower control didn’t work and the water didn’t get hot, I talked to the front desk and they are aware that I want a full refund
- 1/5
No lights in the washroom. T.V not working properly. Keep your facility up to standards please. Theres a reason your parking lot is empty.
- 2/5
I experienced the worst checkin of my life. I travel for work and stay frequently at hotels. My flight was delayed and I had to spend the night at the airport. When i finally arrived a day later I was told my reservation was canceled and I was charge for my 3 night stay. The manager refused to check me in for the remaining two nights of my booked stay. This was a complete surprise that I would be charged for 3 nights stay and not be able to check in for the last two nights of my stay. The hotel manager was not understanding about my flight being canceled due to weather. I would not recommend this hotel.
- 3/5
There was no wifi the tv kept going out. We kept getting locked out our room and having the key reset every day. The bed was squeaky when you got up, the toilet was super loud. This was not a good experience.
- 1/5
Bugs in my room...i had to be moved! Never again!!
- 5/5
Good staff
- 4/5
room was clean, could use some artwork to make it a little homey
- 3/5
The hotel needs to finish up with its fixing updates. Besides that it was a nice place.
- 5/5
Staff were fantastic, room was clean, we will be coming back. Thank you for the great hospitality.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
First the room key did not work on 3 occasions, then the jacuzzi tub only had 1 out 7 jets working so we switched rooms, and they gave us a room that was smaller.... then we got a bigger room and that was nice but moving belongings 3 times was not fun and ruined our night!
- 1/5
Room was okay. Got ready to get into the hot tub and not all tickets worked and it was dirty
- 5/5
We stayed for an Anniversary weekend. The room was great value. Lg 2person shower and hot tub in the room. Beds were comfortable. Staff were helpful and friendly. A few quirks with the room but maintenance was quick to respond.
- 5/5
All of the above!

The room felt neglected in details (stuff behind the TV on the floor ) and we only found this due to trying to get the TV to stop losing its connectivity bc it kept losing signal and connection / we bought 2 new pillows bc the ones provided were way too high / we weren’t able to have a hot shower which we both were looking forward too / and the lock to the side entrance doesn’t work so anyone can enter and leave easily the serving night we had someone on a balaclava mask knocking on our door — we called to front reception to advise and heard nothing afterward - ppl were smoking weed in the hall an hour after the person knocking on our door there was someone smoking weed in the hall when we looked down the hall — was not anything we expected or wanted and was very dissapointed with our weekend here
- 4/5
Hotel met our needs with price, quality and staff. Our room was good size. I slept great. Loved the pillows.
- 4/5
Staff was courteous.
- 1/5
Unable to go due to a bad car accident. The hotel will not work with me and refuse to answer emails, chats or call back
- 5/5
Room was clean Everything is well decorated Staff are very nice
- 1/5
Toilet kept getting stuck. Had to change rooms. No microwave in room. Heat didn’t work in new room. Won’t be returning.
- 5/5
Absolutely gorgeous property great breakfast selection and wonderful staff
- 5/5
Older hotel but nice
- 4/5
The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
- 3/5
Only minor “inconveniences” but overall still a good place to stay.
- 5/5
Easy check in, large rooms. We came for the Bill's game and it more than met our needs. Plenty of parking and walking distance to Anchor Bar for dinner.
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly, room was clean, hotel felt secure. It was all I needed for a weekend stay. The hotel is clearly an older one, I didn’t need all the bells and whistles. For the price and service level I received I would stay here again for a short stay.
- 5/5
Staff was absolutely amazing room was beautifully cleaned. Would highly recommend.
- 2/5
We called and told them 4 times that we would have a pet with us and when we got there they still had no idea we had tell them again that we had our dog with us and they were like um yeah they didn’t mark it. The staff was nice parking sucked especially if you have a pick up. It was a little scary to find out our dead bolt lock didn’t work in our room and we immediately told them but they didn’t really say much to us or offer to move our room which made us feel unsafe. The tub most the jets were broken and needed to be replaced only a select few worked as they should and I had to use my hotspot to use the tv. But the bed was comfortable to a point but very shallow walls you can hear your neighbors very well.
- 4/5
Loved the historic look of the place.
- 1/5
Upon arrival room was dirty and very beat up ! There was hair in sink and flooring and furniture were in pretty bad shape ! Phone was disgusting !! Upon getting up sat we had absolutely “NO HOT WATER “ after repeatedly calling front desk and NO ONE answering we packed our bags and left and will never return to this establishment!!! And Expedia should be embarrassed to represent this hotel !!!!
- 5/5
Superb 🔥
- 2/5
The stay was okay. The room had an odd smell but we just dealt with it. We knew there'd be a $150 hold, no problem. We get a $299 charge from The Garden Place directly thinking maybe it was a double hold (makes no sense thinking back bc it would've been 300 total) anyways after our stay that "hold" never came back (we paid for hotel in advanced so it wasn't an owed payment) and when we reached out to management about it we were just told they "don't even have our card on file, we're not seeing the charge" and just left it at that. No further investigation, just basically told us it's not their problem. After disputing with a bank and having to order a whole new card we resolved our issue on our own like we were told to do, but this could've all been avoided if we just received a thorough investigation into our issue. Feels like they were robbing us. Anyways, mid stay, just check your bank accounts when you leave.
- 3/5
Staff was great, but the room was kind of a disappointment we had a jacuzzi suite and I expected better, but it was honestly a little run down, there was cobwebs, tape stuck to the walls, and what looked like spit balls stuck to the walls. We did not eat breakfast there as it was not complimentary so we chose places we knew we would like.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and the staff was very helpful
- 5/5
For this level of hotel that it is, it is very nice. Attractive and clean rooms. Good parking. 24 hr available staff. I do think they ought to put some bottled water in the rooms, but they do sell it. And it was quiet!
- 3/5
I am not sure what may have been going on at the hotel, but we did not have bath towels and when we requested housekeeping only once during a four night stay, while new towels were dumped on top of the toilet (?) nothing else was taken care of in the room. Bed was unmade, trash was left while a couple of bins were emptied and a roll of small trash bags was left behind. Seemed left mid way as empty cups were left and coffee service was not resupplied. We were in town for a family event and we had 3 rooms. All had issues with towels etc.
- 3/5
The accommodations were not very good. Property was dirty, mold in the showers, cob webs in the corner, rude staff, no food service or bar. Will not stay here again.
- 5/5
Friendly courtious staff. Rooms were a little dated, but very clean. My only issue was the super soft matress. Trying to get out of the plush super soft bed was almost comical. Most hotels have either firm or medium mattresses. Nevertheless I would stay there again.
- 5/5
A lovely hotel close to the airport.
- 5/5
This is an old vintage hotel, it has so much character and the hospitality is above and beyond! The hotels staff are ethically diverse with beautiful sense of community in welcoming guests! The honey moon suit was exceptional and wonderful to be able to take lounge in personal sauna tub for two. I’ll be back again when visiting family in Buffalo
- 5/5
The rooms were spacious and clean The only negative, the side entrance was keyless entry. It’s nice not having to put your key in to enter especially if you’re carrying a lot but for a security reason I think it should be fixed. It looks like it’s been out of commission for some time
- 5/5
They are upgrading the hotel and they are doing a good job so far
- 5/5
The ladies at the reception desk when I checked in and checked out were amazing
- 1/5
No response from staff to address the television despite calling twice and they agreed to address - no show three nights in a dirty room . Will not return to this hotel .
- 3/5
Our stay was ok. We were happy that the jacuzzi worked. The sheets were clean and the bed was very comfortable. A little less deodorizer in the room would have been preferred. Disappointed that the website mentions a bar but there was not
- 3/5
Me and my wife stayed there for our anniversary, we opted for the Jacuzzi suite, we were looking forward to get a few drinks at the hotel bar which the website stated was open till 11:30. When we got to the hotel we found that our Jacuzzi tub had a hole in the inside of it, which was patched with packing tape.... When I pushed on the tape covering the hole, old bath water came out.... So NO on that.. we then headed to the bar which we couldn't find, I asked at the front desk, the man looked confused, the other lady said it was closed for remodeling?? So we just watched TV and went to bed. The hotel is cool a dose have potential.
- 3/5
A major improvement, aside from the big things like new carpets, would be to include a mini bar/snacks. Or at the very least a vending machine on each floor. There was a concession stand from which you could purchase snacks at the front desk, but that is an entire extra step that we did not want to take in a post-flight sleep haze.
- 5/5
Great location the staff worked so hard keeeping the hotel clean thanks for everything
- 4/5
If you can get past the incredibly tacky decor, the poor internet, disappointing sauna and lack of bar or restaurant, the rooms are quite spacious and comfortable and the price is very reasonable.
- 4/5
The front desk employees were very nice.
- 5/5
The room is amazing. Is clean , comfortable, good space . Very nice place for stay super quiet. Defenely stay here next time
- 3/5
We called ahead to see if we could check in early and were told yes but we would be on the 3rd floor with no other explanation. We don’t mind a walk so went ahead with it. They failed to tell us. The room is not finished. They are under renovations and it’s very underwhelming. When I went to shower there was a used facecloth wedged at the top of the shower. Not what we usually get from this hotel.
- 5/5
Courteous employees, quick check-in, clean comfortable room, convenient location, reasonable price.
- 5/5
The room was cery clean. I had an amazing stay
- 3/5
The bed was terrible couldn’t get comfortable and I was sinking in the bed the entire nite
- 1/5
The room was not cleaned at all during my stay even after requesting many times. I have requested house keeping twice but they didnt care regarding my request. This is the first time i have experienced such negligence in any hotel during my stay, I have asked for bottle of water, and they told me pay first. Very unprofessional and rude
- 5/5
Great staff above and beyond
- 4/5
Clean room. Great staff
- 5/5
Everything was amazing
- 5/5
The place is beautiful
- 5/5
The ambience of the hotel. A serious step up from Motel 6 type places.
- 5/5
The staff were so friendly! Always smiling and very helpful. Love the public areas, beautiful seasonal decorations. Breakfast was super, highly recommended!
- 4/5
Staff was great, room was clean, atmosphere was fabulous. Disappointed the ad shows a bar, but it wasn’t open.
- 3/5
The staff was very courteous and helpful.
- 5/5
Es hermoso y limpio
- 5/5
Me encanta este hotel ! Es hermoso y son muy amables
- 4/5
Room was decent. The carpet was a bit stained also they were in the process of changing the hallway carpet. But aside from that the stay was nice and the room was decent. The hot tub could use some kind of tub mat or grippers as it gets pretty slippery when trying to get out.
- 1/5
Room not ready at check in, didn’t get in until 11pm. Woken up at 4am by water leaking from the ceiling. Manager won’t return calls, no refund or anything else offered to compensate, terrible experience and will not be returning.
- 4/5
The Staff was great. It was a beautiful hotel, and the price was unbelievable.
- 5/5
I did not rate this 5 stars as it was barely a 1.This hotel was a nightmare from the start when i tried to check-in! Despite my showing the manager I had a confirmation number for 2rooms/4nights/6 people,he only had 1 room and suggested we share the 2 queen beds! He did come up with a mini suite for the first night and could find a second room for the last 2 nights leaving me to find an alternative. Unless you have death wish, I would book elsewhere as I'm sure the health department would shut it down. There's mold on the walls (don't stay on the 3rd floor!), room carpets are disgustingly filthy and housekeeping has no idea what theirnob entails. Wet towels(3days) were never collected, waste baskets never emptied, beds made with sheet over duvet ... This was must a bigantic germ fest!!
- 5/5
Was great
- 1/5
I have been coming to this hotel for 20 years and I can tell you I will never come back again. This is by far and away the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We arrived after a flight at 10:30 at night. Went to check in to two rooms my first room I got the key went down to the room only to find it occupied by a young couple (doing what young couples in love do at hotels)….. as I walked into their room with my family. I went back to the front desk very upset they apologized gave me another key to another room again when I arrived at that room, there was another couple in the bed, sleeping soundly, and I walked in on them. They told me that they were full. I had to cancel my reservation. Had to go find another hotel pay more money than this hotel, and this hotel would not give me a refund told me I had to come back and talk to a manager when I arrived on Sunday a manager refused to come and it was only when I called the police was. I was told by them that a manager was on their way. The hotel is no longer owned by Russell Salvatore and has been sold to new owners. The advertise breakfast is no longer included and you must pay extra for it. The carpet on the main floor is all bunched up and presents a real tripping hazard however, all the carpet on the most Westerly wing first floor has been cut out and only the raw concrete unfinished remains overall this hotel has gone drastically downhill. It smells of marijuana in various spots. I WILL NEVER GO BACK.
- 2/5
Didn’t refresh room. Had to ask even though they said they would refresh unless you put the do not disturb sign out. Place wasn’t very clean. Will not stay there again.
- 3/5
Staff is great....once you find them
- 2/5
They did not have our room at all! Requested a double queen suite and was given a king. They then exchanged our room with a regular double queen room because I customer gave up his room to help us out .
- 3/5
Love the over the top decor – thought it was a lot of fun – our room – the da Vinci room -overlooked the beautiful courtyard. All good until we sat/slept on the bed – so uncomfortable!!! – no support - way too soft - felt like sleeping on a waterbed back in the 80s! If there was a newer firmer mattress, it would have been much better review…
- 5/5
Very clean
- 3/5
Room was fine, the rest of the common areas were in disarray, but to be expected due to renovations being made. Bar was closed, no morning coffee available except for the in room Keurig. Staff was extremely helpfuland courteous, though and provided a free 24 hr shuttle to their sister property
- 5/5
While some areas of the hotel are being upgraded, due to new ownership, it is a well maintained hotel.
- 5/5
Was nice, its older so its definitely not in perfect condition but thats given, my room was nice staff was awesome and very helpful shuttle was very easy to call for, id stay there again.
- 3/5
Quite comfortable. Room Amenities = 2.5 stars. Looks lavish, but niceties didn't match decor. Some USB, but not many. 1 lamp was missing a knob. Small Fridge No Microwave in room, 1 shared on the whole floor. Bathroom Fan did not work. Tile was quite slippery. A little light on towels. 2 towels for a room that sleeps 4. Hotel itself looks great at first. However, the "low price" came with a different kind of price...the price of riff-raff staying there. Just trashy people looking very out of place in such opulence. This was once a nice place to stay. Now it's the Red Roof Inn with a fancy window dressing. Breakfast. It was good. But not included. I stayed here some years ago for a work Christmas party, and I remember the next morning the whole downstairs filled with people and a huge wonderful breakfast buffet. Now it is MTO food. That said, it was actually cheaper than McDonalds' breakfast. If they raised the prices $30 a night, did some basic maintenance, restore / add a bar, this place could shine again, being reasonably priced, but keeping the trashy pot smoking crowd and criminal element at Red Roof and Motel 6.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Room was very clean! Staff were very nice and when needing towels, etc. they were quick to respond.
- 5/5
Rooms are nice. Front desk staff were nice and knowledgeable
- 1/5
Room was in very rough shape. Furniture worn out, the heat did not work and blew cold air the whole 3 days. We advised staff who said they would tell maintenance who never came. This place is not 3 stars it’s 1 at the most. It’s very run down.
- 1/5
Stained sheets, clogged drains, old/damaged furniture, poor odors
- 3/5
When I arrived and checked into my room, I found there was no shower curtain. I had hit some inclement weather on the way in and was shorter on time than planned and had to go find dinner quickly. I was given a room change. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Though the furnishings were dated. I got back around midnight from the show. When we got up in the morning, we wanted to go check out breakfast because normally we are heading to a race and have to leave so early we don’t get to take advantage of complimentary breakfast so it was nice to have time. Went downstairs and saw no breakfast set up - it was 8:30am…confused we walked up to the desk and were told we had to buy breakfast. They handed us a $10 off coupon. Overall, I wouldn’t stay at this property again. I’m fine paying a little more to get industry standards included with my room and not being charged $150 deposit in addition to my room fee.
- 5/5
Clean room easy parking friendly staff
- 5/5
I love this hotel, it was amazing 100%
- 4/5
The hotel is average, a little overpriced, but the hotel’s interior design is cute/unique looking. The room was spacious and loved the blackout blinds. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable, but it did move easily when someone shifted in the bed. Although noted online, the Remington Lounge was not open both evenings (Fri & Sat), which was disappointing.
- 5/5
Very positive stay. Staff was awesome… Very accommodating. Drove us down to the Delavan Salvatore‘s hotel free shuttle. Yes it needs some TLC and some renovations that are occurring now… But the ambiance is amazing. Been going there for 20 years and love it.
- 5/5
I really liked the condition of the room we were given. It was clean and spacious. The staff were very courteous. The stairs going up to the third floor needed repairs on the walls. The card reader allowing guests to swipe into the building was damaged and in need of repair. We would stay again at the hotel.
- 5/5
Great value and clean.
- 5/5
Ok
- 1/5
Dirty. Black mold going down wall and wet floors in the first room we were placed in. The second room looked like it hadnt been vacuumed in years and we found the last guests trash. Horrible.
- 5/5
We had a great stay nice rooms very clean and enjoyed the hot tub
- 5/5
Very fashion and suitable rooms
- 2/5
Lights didn’t work chairs e broken just very poor
- 3/5
Not really room wasnt clean thing's in the room were broken the tv didnt work
- 5/5
Staff were super friendly and nice! We had one issue with our room and the owner and staff got it taken care of immediately! Everything in the room was spotless and clean!
- 1/5
It was a far cry from ideal! It was terrible, hence the review I'm leaving. There was a nylon no show sock on tue stairs for 3 days. Clearly there is no General housekeeping performed at this hotel or the dock wouldn't have sat on the stair for 3 days. When we went out Saturday morning we advised them that the coffee machine and the light didn't work. I told them we were going to be out all day. Nothing got addressed. I told the front desk when we left Sunday morning at 10:30 that the coffee machine was still not replaced and the main light still didn't work. When returned at 8:30 PM it was finally taken care of. We bought coffee at the hotel Saturday morning, which was terrible. Sunday we drove up the street to Tim Horton's to get coffee. The carpet is all torn and stained way beyond just needing to be cleaned. I had stayed here many times when is was part of Salvatore's but it's definitely no where close to the way it was back then. I would never stay at this hotel ever again!!

Update rooms a little and it would be perfect
- 1/5
We could not use the hot tub it had scum lines and dirt floaties. I showed pictures to lady and she never offered a discount on the room
- 4/5
The front desk staff was amazingly helpful and friendly! The only thing that was slightly disappointing was that they no longer have a bar/restaurant on site as their website details.
- 3/5
Mediocre hotel . Pretty dingy and run down. Gave it a second chance thinking maybe it was me , it’s not me . It’s a run down place , don’t expect luxury . It’s cheap and location is great that’s all it’s got going .
- 3/5
Staff was wonderful. The rooms however could definitely use some work. The carpets in the halls are disgustingly stained. The window in my room must be leaking because the sill is full of water and what looks like possible mold build up., the wall paper was peeling off of the walls, they attempted to fix it with a stapler in some spots… I have pictures
- 5/5
We stay here often. Always a great stay. Love the jacuzzi
- 5/5
Airport shuttle was amazing and the driver was great. Highly recommend
- 5/5
Todo estuvoperfecto
- 3/5
Dated rooms, loud bathroom light/fan which need to be on at the same time as there is only one switch. Outlets are tucked behind big nightstands, shower wasn't hot enough. Our key cards were deactivated during the first day because they assumed we left and we had to have them reactivated after trying for a while to enter, was told to wait while the front desk took care of others after us.
- 3/5
One if the beds had a detached footing. And the shower couldnt adjust water temperature. Iat checkbout i let the front desk clerk kniw about the 2 issues. We were resting from long drive so we didnt find it necesary to call as we were leaving . Tge bed dituation was the bed my kid used snd fidnt tell me till we were leaving . Other than that the hotel was nice and got the rest we needed .
- 5/5
Thank beutifful the hotel

We used to stay here often. It was dirty, in the profile it showed bar hours. They don't even have a liqour license. The whole experience was disappointing

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a night for or anniversary my boyfriend is on crutches right now and he almost fell because the rug is rising up in spots the mirrors in our room were dirty and the jacuzzi tub looked like they never clean the jets I stay here about 10 years ago and it was beautiful and clean this time I was not impressed
- 5/5
The guy that checked me in was so kind and friendly
- 5/5
Great location for the airport!

Great place to get away...
- 2/5
Bar area was closed because they did not have a bartender. No breakfast one morning because staff did not show up. Just needs alot of updates.
- 5/5
The hot tub wasn’t clean
- 5/5
The entire staff was attentive and professional . I was having a bad start to our vacation until check in time where the staff was sympathetic to our travel ordeal and made us feel special there which turned things around for the trip .
- 5/5
Charming, comfortable. Convenient to shopping and Thruway.
- 4/5
It was just fine for a night stay
- 3/5
The overall staff was very good. My room was dated and needed repair in the shower, shower curtain was dirty, room floor was dirty and had something blue on it (the bottoms of my socks were always blue and dirty from walking on the floor) WIFI did not work at all which meant the TV wasn't working too well. No clock in the room, no microwave, there was a Keurig coffee maker but it didn't work very well. The front desk staff and people who cleaned rooms were all very nice. I'd give my stay a 2.5 or 3 and I checked out a day early as the shower really was very bad and the bed wasn't very comfortable.
- 3/5
Clean air conditioner
- 1/5
The next morning, the manager, Ravine, promised a full refund for the night which turned out to be a lie. He is now denying the refund through the third party, even though he clearly stated we would receive full compensation. When we tried to contact him directly, the front desk staff was laughing at our frustration and repeatedly gave different excuses claiming Ravine was “in a meeting,” “out sick,” and “out for lunch,” all in the same call. We could hear her telling him that someone was on the phone for him, and moments later she returned saying he was “unavailable.” She eventually hung up on me. Meanwhile, he somehow becomes available the moment Expedia contacts him. The hotel is filthy, with old food left in the hallways for two days. They clearly do not care about hygiene, professionalism, or honesty. Avoid this hotel at all costs, it’s dirty, dishonest, and run by people who lie to and disrespect their guests.
- 3/5
The Garden Place is beautiful but has some minor concerns. There was no microwave or safe box in the suite we had. Ammenities were expensive and the only one includes was the fitness & sauna. The atmosphere is excellent and the cleaniness is pretty good. Some of our room needed some renovation or repairs however, so that was annoying when the bathroom light would go on/off. Water took forever to get warm (20+ minutes). At one point, we were locked out of our room half wau through the stay and had to go to the front desk to get it resolved. They apologized and fixed it quickly. Location is great. Just off of I90.
- 1/5
The heater did not work in my room. Housekeeping never came to clean my room. The microwave was removed and never replaced with a new one.
- 3/5
Outdated with construction issues with one of our rooms. Wallpaper peeling, broken furniture in both rooms and one of the lamps had no light bulb.
- 2/5
Very tired. Need’s updating
- 1/5
The refrigerator didn’t work nor did the Jett’s in the jacuzzi
- 4/5
Unique in decor. Staff was great. The property could use some love and fixing.
- 4/5
Clean Room but the bed wasn’t that comfortable
- 2/5
Very run down. Carpets in hallways very stained.
- 2/5
I never write bad reviews but I must. I didn’t know the hotel was sold a couple months ago. Spent my wedding there and was so beautiful. Now it don hill. We had two nights booked. Our room was so dirty. Pee all over the toilet. Pee in the toilet . Hair in the shower. The end table looks like a wild cat was in there. They moved us and fireplace didn’t work. Had coffee but no coffee pot. I asked for one and still no pot. Took away breakfast now you order at a window cash only. But after that closes is when you can get a cup of coffee. So disappointing and will never be back.
- 3/5
However the beds were clean and quite comfortable. Bathroom and vanity areas were clean and appeared to be stocked. Carpet had a ton of gross stains throughout the room.

I was surprised at how run down the place was. I stayed there many years ago and expected Salvators to keep the property in good shape. Hardly anyone staying. No restaurant or bar on site. Dirty, smelly. I think they are just riding out this property. It's at the end of it useful life I think.

I Stayed here for the Bills vs. Patriots SNF game on 10/5. When we checked in the room we were assigned was absolutely disgusting, with an inside out fitted sheet, filthy chairs/carpet, broken door lock, and the AC unit blew hot air. So we were assigned a new room across the hall, which also came equipped with a broken door lock, no lightbulbs in the lamps, and a filthy bathroom. So we left and headed into Buffalo the night before the game. We came back later on, parked, and went to bed. Then on Sunday morning we woke up and headed out for the game around 10:30am. To find my Silverado was ROBBED AND PUT ON BLOCKS IN THE PARKING LOT. All 4 TIRED AND RIMS, so after a call to 911, we spoke with hotel staff who advised us that even though they have cameras on property, conveniently none were able to see either the crime happening, or the vehicle leaving. ZERO SECURITY, anyone can walk in and out of the hotel because the card scanner is smashed off the bracket. Raveen the hotels manager offered ZERO remorse, and instead said he can offer 15% off my stay for light bulbs. You read that right. A burglarized and damaged truck, a call to 911, a police investigation, and instead of a general courtesy for a nightmare stay, still charge us $138 a night for 2 nights. SAFETY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN SAVING MONEY. STAY SO FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. BILLS MAFIA KEEP SCROLLING. FAMILIES KEEP SCROLLING.

The price I was charged was more than I was guaranteed.

Clean room #2030

Aged old grand dame. Classic statues everywhere. I was just there to catch an early flight so I didn't care. The important things were good bed and reliable shuttle. Those were both 5 star.
- 5/5
Great room for my purpose. The front desk woman was a total sweetheart.
- 5/5
Clean room and customer service was very good…we would stay there again
- 4/5
Hotel was quiet. Staff friendly. Checking and out was smooth. Night receptionist very helpful.

Friendly front desk. Difficulty getting room service, in fact gave up and ordered out. Checking in and out was easy.

A safety concern: The hallway carpet was puckered/loose in several areas which we tripped on, please fix. Functional issues: One table lamp was not functional, several Jacuzzi jets did not work, the"fireplace" did not work, the toilet was loose at the base

The pictures are very misleading and the hotel is extremely worn out. I couldn’t imagine staying there ever again.

Great place to stay. Out dated a bit, but kept up. We always stay here when we go see the Bills.

Dated decor but clean and comfortable

Staff was super friendly, hotel was very nice. room was big and amenities are were spot on. location between Buffalo and Niagara make it a great place if you trip includes both places. There were a lot of restaurants around the hotel, including a few that were walkable. I would stay here again for sure.

Cons: 1. I stayed in two rooms because of two separate reservations (but same king bed room type) and had two different style beds. One very comfortable and one not very comfortable hard mattress. 2. Front desk at times too slow due to low staff 3. Family member arrived after me and struggled to get ahold of hotel to get shuttle. I had to go down and tell someone at front desk. They sent it quickly though. 4. No onsite restaurant.

Very outdated decor and not clean. 1st room the bathroom got flooded from the hotel the carpet was old and stained and then they moved us the 2nd room the AC didn’t work and again not clean left hair in shower drain from previous stay. Eeww

Probably wouldn’t stay again but it was close to the airport for an early morning flight.

I found a hotel to be extremely dirty and many things in the room where malfunctioning such as shower controls the phone was that no remote control for the television and many many other things.

Recently stayed at the Garden Place Hotel for the first time and overall it was a nice experience. The service was excellent and the hotel has charm. I would say it could use some updates to the hotel, but the room itself was fine. Overall, no complaints.

Wanted a romantic getaway with my fiancé on her 28th at a local iconic hotel. Instead went to a run down expensive hotel. Can’t even walk through the place cause you trip on the wrinkles in the carpet all across the lobby!!!

Neat little hotel near the airport. A lot more fun than your typical cookie cutter hotel, easy walking distance to the Anchor B catar home of the original Buffalo wing. Great price for a hotel near the airport. Would stay there again within the area.

Was a great place to stay but no longer the case.

Shower faucet needs to be replaced or repaired Breakfast really needs to be changed—food terrible, no buffet, only limited menu and had to pay separately. It’s not included. Staff was not helpful. Asked questions and got different answers from different people. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Definitely is in need of some updates. No free breakfast.

Huge room, with virtually no furniture. Sink drained very slowly. Body wash dispenser in shower was empty, and there was no bar soap for the sink. Sauna was terrrible--poor design, cheap heater and did not get hot. Nothing like a proper Thermory sauna

On day 3, my toilet backed up. I called to the front desk and asked for someone to check it while I was out for the day. Upon returning, nobody had checked it. I again called the front desk and they offered to get me a new room as they didn't have anyone to perform maintenance. I informed them I'd rather not pack and switch rooms, that if they had a plunger I would fix it myself. They brought me a plunger and I fixed it. Obviously I don't feel I would stay here again.

Hotel needs to be cleaned and renovated.

I do not recommend staying here. The front desk staff were not helpful at all. The water pressure is terrible & the water is not really hot. I had to call the front desk but they could not hear me so I then had to call from my cell phone to get them. The young gentleman said he tried to call the room back, but of course it didn’t ring on either of the 2 phones in the room. he never even offered to have someone come and look at either. I mention to him on the call that Our iron had a short in it so it didn’t work properly and no one was sent up for that either. I would not stay here again.

I found out that the hotel was sold about two months ago. While the staff was friendly, the advertised bar and restaurant are off premises. The sign declares it was ¼ mile away. We walked. It was actually 1 mile away. The adertised in room jacuzzi was non existent. The in room AC provided only a fan blowing. The exterior door locks were either inoperable or had been smashed off the side of the building. The rug on the main floor was loosening and created a trip hazzard. The free coffee in the lobby disappears in the morning and then it becomes $2 a cup at the cafe that is open 7-10.

Couple of things I did not like, microwave did not work, website advertising shows Remington bar located in hotel but it was never open

This property is beat up. In our three night stay after we asked twice we couldn't get anyone to clean the room. We had to go to the front desk to get toilet paper and tissues.
- 2/5
The carpets are atrocious. The hotel has seen better days. It’s a cheap place to stay which is also the only reason to do so.

great unique decor! felt like being in a castle! 😀

The driver never got out and announced that he was with The Garden Place Hotel. We had called the hotel when we landed at the airport requesting the shuttle. So the driver knew people were waiting at the airport pickup location, as was one other passenger that had contacted the hotel as well. Ultimately the three of us waited over 45 minutes to actually be picked up.

Room was kind of clean, it smelled like dirty feet, our jacuzzi tub was leaking all over the carpet, ran out of TP no extra roll in the room. There are. It enough towels for the hoonymoon room

No free coffee had to pay for everything including breakfast

Key access to doors were broken so anyone could walk in to the hotel. Building wasn’t secure.

This hotel is run down and dirty. The staff is uninterested. Not at all one that I’d recommend
