Excellent location . The hotel is gorgeous. Rooms are well maintained and comfortable. The pool is everything. Really enjoyed the stay here and I would stay here again if I come back.

Great stay, clean and comfy room with huge bed! The breakfast is very limited and the hotel doesn’t have loads of restaurants nearby.

Wasn’t the best bed for the quality of the rest of the hotel. Also did not like the “weighted” dry bar system. After I left, the hotel falsely accused me of damaging property and charged me $1000 without alerting me as to why. The manager, Jordan Kroecker, was very unprofessional, refusing to provide his name after making these false accusations. Additionally, the charge was arbitrary because they told me the damage would cost $3,500. This was an extremely disappointing experience.

It was a nice hotel but the hot springs was closed. That was the entire reason for our visit. It was closed three days before our arrival I feel like we should have been notified by Expedia or the hotel since it was a planned closure. Disappointed in the response from the hotel and Expedia. I wouldn’t reccomend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel, bed was comfortable, shower was very nice, free valet parking. Odd that when I requested bell service they dropped the cart off to me and when I got my car from valet they disnt help me load my luggage, I found it odd no offer was made. I was alone when I was leaving with large suitcases.

Beautiful comfortable and lovely staff…noisy on the weekend when the bars closed at 4 but not the hotel’s fault. Guests didn’t act right!

Continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. The pastries were stale. There was little variety, and to choose from elevators are too dark and need to be brightened up. I can hardly read the number buttons because it is so dark in the elevators. Also, it would help to get rid of the fake plants in the rooms

This was an absolutely lovely stay. Every staff interaction was friendly and open. Everything was clean. Loved being able to control all aspects of the environment in my room. All around superb.

For the price the rooms were not very large, the prices at bar and restaurant are high and your left feeling a bit ripped off.

The hotel was beautifully designed and clean.. We decided to eat in the restaurant / bar area it was very accommodating with excellent service. Bartender went above and beyond. The continental breakfast was fresh with delicious coffee and good variety to choose from. We highly recommend the Curtiss Hotel

Everything was exquisite. Michael who took my car. The front desk staff who printed something for me. Amazing bar and drinks. Great steak!! The most comfortable bed. Just lovely.

Great valet staff, smooth check in. Noticed discrepancies between breakfast serving time as the in room book said 10:30 but in reality it was 10:00.

Great hotel 5 *****

Stay was great, room was spacious and clean, and checking in and out was quick and easy. Only thing to note is that the lobby and common areas are strongly fragranced, which can be headache inducing for sensitive individuals. Due to this I had to plug my nose when entering/waiting for the elevator, but that was the only inconvenience.

I stay here as a local for the hot springs, but overall the service is amazing. From check in to dining to check out the room, services and amenities are amazing and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting our city!

Not much of a hot breakfast, quick light snacks. Room was nice, bidet unfortunately didn’t work during our stay, which was kinda a selling point for this hotel. Brought it up and they didn’t seem to care too much. Other than that stay was nice, urban hot springs was a treat! And staff were doing their jobs well, great workers!

The best thing about this property was the staff. Not sure what was going on above me because there was a ton of noise, but every single person I worked in this hotel provided five star service. Especially the staff in the restaurant. Will be back.

A hotel unlike any other I've stayed at. Amenities are off the chart, especially the urban hot springs, while the rooms are upscale and high-tech. The bathroom deserves special mention, with a heated bidet and remarkable shower. Honestly, you never want to leave the room once you check in.

The room was gorgeous. Furnishings, bathroom, bedding all luxurious. Just a beautiful hotel and truly excellent, warm service from every staff member we encountered from the valet, check-in, to check-out. Very quiet upstairs. Will absolutely stay again and recommend to friends.

This blew my mind. From the moment you pull up to valet parking to fountains, to the gorgeous lobby. Very secure property. Upon entering the room the shower and spa tub are amazing and the rooms are quiet and gorgeously decorated with the latest in convenience from tablet concierge service, to automated blinds and lighting. We also enjoyed dinner at their sister location Steak House and were blown away.

The famous rotating bar one of the attractions we actually booked the hotel for was broken. The continental breakfast was better at the Hyatt honestly. This breakfast was abysmal for the price. The hot springs were amazing and the hotel is beautiful overall.

Nice hotel

This hotel made our anniversary trip so lovely. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a large shower and a nice jetted tub plus a heated bidet! The service was stellar with complimentary champagne on arrival and they allowed early check in since they had a room available. We loved the two bars and had a nice dinner in the Chez Ami retaurant. My favorite part was the hot spring. We spent time winding down in the spring every night! The location is convienient to many restaurants, clubs, and also the Shea theater. We would love to stay again!

Very nice and helpful staff. We had 3 meals at the hotel, and all were delicious. Gym area is fairly small, but has a great variety of fitness machines and equipment.

Quiet nice horel tucked away. Beautuful big room. Bathroom is huge with a powder station for women. Modern with updated technology like showers and i pad to operate lughts and curtains.

Room decorations, bedding and awesome. Only concern was that CHOICE would not reward Points for this 3-day stay because it was booked on a 3rd party site.

This is a very nice hotel. My room was quiet and parking was very easy. Only con is they have a busy restaurant on site and rooftop bar. It could feel congested getting to the elevator. But once on my floor everything was fine

My wife and I stayed to go to a concert and the evening didn't quite go as planned, but the staff went above and beyond to assist us. I would highly recommend this property and will be coming back soon.

This is the second time my wife and I stayed at the Curtiss and I must say it was great. The room was very nice and unique. The rooftop bar is very cool. The valet parking was great and the staff did a nice job. Overall this has to be the premier place to stay in downtown.

Stayed one night. Had a great room. Clean, nice bed and hi tech shower! One complaint is the bidet didn’t work, not a huge deal since it was a short stay. The urban hot springs and valet are a great perks!

In a sea of ordinary or rubber stamp hotels, The Curtiss stands out as superb. Walking in the door you can tell this place is special, from the view of the bar to the soft, stylish music, not to mention the decor. The staff is really nice and the place is immaculate. All accommodations are top notch from the curated room decor to the bidet and shower. Nothing here is ordinary and it will make you feel special just being here!

When I reported this to front desk in the morning, I was met with an “oh ya that happens, may need to reset the breaker! Question- why hasn’t it been fixed. Buffalo’s “Only 5 Star” hotel is more like a 3 star.

Went for girls trip. Spent way more on this hotel die to amenities like bidet and spinning bar. Bidet was broken and they said they had no other rooms but rooms next to us were empty. Bar never spun.

I booked the hotel for a trip for my parents. Although I didn't tag along, I felt like I went on the trip with them because they couldn't stop raving about it on the phone in detail as soon as they arrived. The staff, the shower, the lobby, the spa...thank you for the great experience.

Great blackout blinds. The bathroom was over the top with a nice stand up shower as well with a soaker tub. We will stay here again for sure. Breakfast exceeded expectations.

This is my third stay at Curtiss and I usually love it. The room this time was as nice as the other two…on the surface. Coat rack fell when trying to hang coat, shower handle is beyond loose & ready to fall off, even from pulling a little, which you obviously need to do to exit. And coffee maker did not work, yet the hotel is holding $200 for incidents/ damages? Room #405 needs a maintenance check ASAP. Unsatisfied this time around.

The Curtiss is a very modern hotel. All the lights, curtains, even the shower are automated. Speaking of the shower, it was amazing. Best hotel shower I can remember. The free breakfast is sufficient to get your day started but you can order menu items if you desire something special. The hotel is also well situated near many other restaurants and places to see in Buffalo.

We were very excited to to stay here, as it was a beautiful and amazing Hotel, it was clean and everyone was extremely friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. If we ever stay in Buffalo again, we will definitely come back and stay here. I recommend it for any couple.

Decor was a little gaudy and over the top, but the all electronic room controls was handy. Crazy shower with many sprays and a bidet on the toilet was nice if you like that.

Horrible experience from the GM Jordan. This would have been my 5th time staying in this location, and never had been asked that my whole crew of 5 people that I had arrived with for a friend's birthday dinner and was told I couldn't check in until all 5 showed ID. Without even asking and assuming they were staying in the hotel room I asked for what reason was ID needed for all my guests he said it "was policy" I've been here with other multiple guests and never been asked for them to show ID besides just the person paying. He embarrassed my family and I in front of others saying he can just cancel my reservation if I didn't agree with the policy. This is 5 latin woman. I've checked in with other friends which were Caucasian and never had the front desk demand ID from my whole group. This GM not only took the time to walk outside and take a look at my family and then stand in front of his computer and belittle me with canceling my reservation. I really felt that he was bias on his actions towards my family who were there just to eat dinner at the restaurant not staying at the hotel which he "assumed" then after all the embarrassment and arguing back and forth with me again feeling unvalued as a returning guest Jordan says it was because the one person in my group that "looked" under 18. So which was the policy here? He looked at everyone's IDs then changed his reason after he seen that we are legal? Is this what we're doing to your hispanic customers? Horrible experience.

The facilities were a pleasant surprise - the indoor/ outdoor hot springs pool and the courtyard . The gym was clean and well equipped. The bathrooms in public spaces were very clean. Overall a delightful stay !

You get what you pay for! I decided to treat myself for my birthday with a night at here and it was absolute luxury from start to finish! I will be back!

Very nice upper end hotel.

Very classy, complimentary champagne on check in, amazing bed, hot springs were delightful! The super high tech toilet and shower seemed a waste of power and water but were neat. Only down side was a a strong smell of marijuana from one of the neighboring rooms when we left this morning.

Sadly, due to it being a rainy evening, we missed seeing the much-touted rooftop bar—they closed early, about 10 minutes before we got back from the Judy Collins show! But Matt took good care of us at the lobby bar—where he had to inform me that we weren’t going to be revolving since that feature needs repair. All in all, though, we had a lovely stay. Fully enjoyed the Urban Hot Springs before our delicious meal at Chez Ami! Service there was top notch.

It was my first time to Buffalo and I chose one of the best hotels in the downtown area. Not much around as it seemed pretty quiet but great hidden gems around for food and drinks. The hotel was gorgeous and loved the room decor, very dark and cozy and had some cool amenities and it was a smart hotel and eco friendly so everything was automatic and easy to use. The hot spring spa was free and really nice to end the night in especially while it was snowing a bit. Gym was quite small but had a few machines for cardio and full rack of dumbbells but not much space to use but I managed well. Spa was great and relaxing and offers great packages. I never made it to the rooftop lounge but the rotating lobby bar was nice and wasn’t very loud. The on property restaurant was nice for breakfast and dinner. I would definitely return

The hotel was nice but the bed & pillows were very uncomfortable. The pillows weighed like 10 lbs each. The bed was squeaky & the sheets were very noisy. Breakfast was very nice - never did eat a meal at the restaurants- went for other options. The spa was very nice & the “hot springs” was nice although it just seemed like a big hot tub.

Very nice and clean hotel. Excellent, walkable location with very helpful staff. Only minor drawback is the room is VERY dimly lit which makes it hard to get dressed and put makeup on.

I’ve stayed at this property before and it was so much better. They changed the menu and the class of this hotel. The hallway smelled like a hospital it was really terrible.

Best part of hotel is hot springs. Didn’t have any massage openings. Be aware there is like zero sound proofing. We could hear every word from other room. Sounded like people were in our room, we could hear drunk girls yelling all night. Beds are very uncomfortable and the pillows are trash! The sheets are rough and felt cheap!! Sad for the amount of money should upgrade beds and pillows.
