Room was good and swimming pool was nice. Front desk staff did not seem to enjoy their jobs too much but were not rude, just didn't seem too happy to be there. Our major complaint was that we asked for a crib for our toddler which was provided, but they did not have sheets for the crib mattress and gave us a flat sheet for a queen sized bed to lay over top. This was fine for our toddler but would not have been acceptable for a younger infant/baby as it was not tight fitting now matter what we did to secure it. Maybe something the property can look into purchasing as it is also a safety issue.

The coffee in the morning was cold. The door lock was wobbly and barely hanging on. The seat cushions in the lobby were dirty. The pillows were so small.

The drain in the bath tub needs attention; it is partially clogged, so taking a shower involved standing in water up to and over my ankles. Water was still draining long after getting out of the tub. Being an allergy sufferer, I always check room air filters first thing. The filters in the Heating and Cooling unit are damaged and need to be replaced. The filters were totally clogged, so I removed and washed them out. It would be nice to have fruit available for breakfast. Not a fan of sausage, so it would have been nice to offer bacon too.

Breakfast was also no frills but got the job done.

When you took a shower, the water didn’t come out that much. It sucks.

We came back after 9pm and checked in. Room was warm, a/c was turned on, bathroom was not clean and had a bad odor in it. No bottled water at all in the soft drink machines. Shower curtain was extremely wrinkled, looked like it was left in a dryer for a while! Do not recommend this hotel at all! I typically do not leave negative reviews but I really would like to be honest for those people that rely on reviews before they book a room here.

Place smells like cigarettes and was rushed, room didn’t have working air system and “no other rooms available”, refused to refund me (cause I went through Expedia) couldn’t even offer us 1 dang water bottle. NEVER AGAIN!

First of all, the cleanliness of the room is impressive. Secondly, the location is so convenient. 0.3 mile to the airport. Easy to get on highways. Coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance. Good coffee at the lobby 24 hours. We liked it.

Liked the location, room was decent. Property is old with some areas smelling moldy. Pool, lounge area, breakfast is bare bones, just like a budget hotel but the pricing is of a 4 -5 star hotel. Building is not updated well enough to be $240 USD per night. Feels like a rip off, when I can stay at a Sheraton for that price.

It was very clean and location is convenient. I also appreciated how helpful staff was and the long term parking and rates for that were great!

Mold in bathroom, sink outside of bathroom, paint peeling off wall & ceiling in bathroom.

Everything was very private and no one bothered you if you didn't want them to. The room was very nice and big and clean and perfect for our week long stay. The parking lot was very well lit so it felt very safe. Also had a great breakfast and right next to coffee shop if you wanted to get something else in the morning. Also great late night snack options in the vending machines!

I had a great stay @ The Comfort Inn & Suites. The location, immediately across from the airport, is excellent. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. Check-in/out was seamless. Scheduling a (painfully early) airport shuttle to make my departure smooth and convenient took about 30 seconds. What more could a traveler want? Highly recommended, and I will almost assuredly be back!

There is not a single thing that can be said about this property that its a 3 Star . No way it’s a 3 or even 2 star, it’s more like 1 Star. Carpet was wet few places. There was also plumbing rumbling noice coming from the walls times to time, because of that noise we were not able to sleep all night.Free Breakfast wasn’t bad.

The hotel is pretty run down, and the entire floor smelled of weed. Some guests on our floor were questionable, they were constantly banging doors and swearing outside our room.! We were up all night. And checked out petty early for our flight next morning, during checkout, there were 4 cop cars and as informed by the receptionist, there was a situation. Never coming back here .. our kids were scared and so glad we were out of there.

Shuttle was waiting for us when leaving. Driver and Desk Clerk very courteous and helpful.

Shuttle not readily available, 20 min wait. Heat in room had poor controls, either a sauna or cold.

Airport shuttle and convenient location were the true winners. Shower had some drain issues (water went down slow and tap dripped throughout the night) and the walls are rather thin (lots of hallway noise and people up all hours of the night) but for the most part, it was okay. The staff were very courteous and helpful.

Great Hotel

The room could be improved - the heater/ac unit did not work and was blasting cold air when on heat. Whenever we notified the staff they didn’t seem to care or ask questions - we simply wanted them to know ahead of the next guest. The room was a bit dingy - would not stay again.

Hotel is not what I expected for $150/night. Seemed old, dirty, sparce like a military barracks. Room was not super clean, ammenities were cheap, and hallway was noisy, room was not quiet. I would never stay at this Comfort Hotel again.

Our first night, in room 421, was disappointing. Room was in bad need of a refresh. The scond night, in room 323, was better. Overall, this is an older hotel, sand a little tired.

Our room was clean and quiet. The restaurant/bar accessed from the lobby was also nice. The breakfast area was kept clean and well stocked by the attendant working there as people came and went. I didn’t use the gym.

Bathroom shower had mold in various areas especially around the tub secondary overflow safety drain. The bathroom floor had medium sized dirty spots where it appeared something like lotion or gel was spilled and not cleaned up so dirt and dust collected all over them. Sheets appeared clean though which is a plus!

The room we had was very roomy with a comfortable sofa. Only downside was the restaurant and bar were closed so we had to settle in fast food the only walking distance restaurant around

The bathroom tub/shower had red mold all over. We only had 1 towel, hand towel, & washcloth. When we went for breakfast, the staff also helped themselves to the continental breakfast. It wasn’t just a couple staff either. I would say, at least 10+ employees helped themselves to the food. I don’t know if it is a perk for staff to eat the food they provide for the guests, but they should have to wait till all the guests are finished eating.

The breakfast attendant was very thorough in ensuring that everything was topped up . A couple of points of hopefully constructive observations . It would be great to have a few fresh fruit options & plain yoghurt at breakfast . Also I am always concerned to know that bathrooms are cleaned to the highest standard and are devoid of any trace of the previous occupants hair - unfortunately there was a hair in the bath which just puts you off straightaway . Plus there needs to be some deep cleaning supervision by the senior housekeeper around how the team clean the tile grout - it’s so easy with the right product and a small stiff brush and ensures that everything looks sparklingly clean ! I used to work in healthcare for years and know it’s an easy job to do but is so often an area that’s neglected in hotels and brings down the otherwise great rating for cleanliness .

The only good thing about this hotel is location. Near airport and highway. It’s a rundown hotel, dirty and a/c makes loud noises, while trying to sleep. For the price we paid, sure could find other options. Do not recommend.

The people at your front desk need a class on customer service. Answering questions with your head down and no smile doesn’t work for me. What was really aggravating, the next day a bunch of athletes showed up, practically taking over the entire hotel. When that many people show up, the hotel should have a private buffet breakfast for them. We went to get something to eat and it was impossible. These people were occupying every table, chair and couch in the lobby that was available. By the time they left, breakfast was over. Your staff needs to think or perhaps you should hire people that are more equipt. When I related this to your reception desk, I got a stare and no answer. We will not be staying at your hotel again.

I was disappointed about the cleanliness of my room on arrival. The inside of our microwave was dirty with left over food. I called the front desk to inform them and housekeeping had left for the day, so they stated they would assign someone a task for the next day to clean it. Still, I felt coming into a stay to things not being cleaned was a bit disappointing.

Property needs renovation, there is mold and nor cleaned properly. Location wise is good and quiet and safe

We stay at the hotel for 4 days they never clean the room not even the garbage. Went to the front desk many times to let them know promised us room was gonna get clean never happened. Will not be staying at this hotel ever again

This was a very busy location, right across from the airport. Older building, but well maintained; the pool was actually open, although we did not use it. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet had a good selection. The only problem was that my key card was deactivated after my first night; not sure why, but wondering if my stay dates were recorded incorrectly so housekeeping thought I was an overstay. Desk staff was kind and helpful though, giving me a new key card and correcting the situation immediately.

I hate to mark it SO low but it didn’t deserve its rating. It should be a 6. Felt like a motel 6. I literally got in the room and then booked the Hilton garden inn down the street. Literally booked two hotels because it was just NOT clean. And that’s that - far below the standard of a comfort suites.

Room was great, pool was good, cleaning service was slack. I complained and hopefully the situation was rectified. I all in all I would stay here again

It’s ok for one night, good customer service, good breakfast. However, rooms need to be cleaned up better (rugs) and maybe some renovation. The hall way rug smell damp. If you are ok with this minor things, its a 3/5.

We had to pay a $150 deposit for a tiny room with a dirty bathroom and the WiFi didn’t really reach the 4th floor where we were staying. Do not recommend staying here.

Dirty shower

We stay here each time we have an early flight. Very close to the airport and has park-fly option. Always clean and comfortable. The attached restaurant is convenient for a late night bite.

Our first concern was the condition of the bathroom there appeared to be mold or some kind of buildup in the corners of the tub, which was concerning. We also found a used pizza box with leftovers under a chair, suggesting the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned. The air conditioning unit was not only outdated but had exposed wiring, which is a serious safety risk, especially as we were traveling with a small child. In addition, we found multiple dead wasps in the room and noticed an overall layer of dust, reinforcing that the room had not been properly cleaned or maintained. Breakfast was disappointing and well below expectations. To make matters worse, the front desk staff were not welcoming during check-in or check-out. At one point, my child accidentally spilled her glass of milk. An employee witnessed this, made eye contact with me, and offered no assistance, no mop, no help, nothing. To top it off, the cost of the stay was far higher than what would be reasonable for a hotel in this condition. I understand this is not a luxury hotel, but several of the issues we encountered were not just about comfort they were about basic cleanliness and safety.

Property was not well maintained and front desk at check-in was not customer friendly.

We had assumed there would be aircraft noise given the location next to the airport, but to our amazement, it was completely quiet. That was such a wonderful surprise! Staying at this hotel truly soothed the stress and disappointment of our cancelled flight.

Just stay away from this area it’s loud and inconvenient. The hotel itself is just bad the beds are hard and the pillows are nonexistent. Terrible time. The lobby and the staff however are nice.

The only drink vending machine on the property was not working. Breakfast was good and well stocked. And everything in the room besides the shower wall seemed clean.

The hotel was decent and located conveniently close to the airport. We could LITERALLY walk across the street to catch our flight. But nothing special about the accommodations. Good value for what was paid.

The bed was comfortable and I slept well. I loved the amenities and the free parking. There was also complementary breakfast with good hot and cold options. Breakfast was delicious, the best of any place that I have stayed. I would definitely stay here again. I think I it is a great choice at an affordable price.

The shuttle driver was really nice, front desk weren’t too welcoming but the worse thing was there was a used rag hanging on the shower and it fell down when I pulled the curtain. There were stains on it, it was wet and looked disgusting, really made me question if the shower had been clean prior to us going into the room.

Good place to stay for the 4 of us. Breakfast was good, had all the usual foods. Room was clean and quiet. Need more light at night time for the back parking lot though.

Great stay. Very simple and quick stay for us. Airport was literally right across the street so the location was perfect. Room was clean and nice for the type of hotel and price. Very simple room to sleep.

Solid for the money

A very friendly staff who were kind and helpful throughout. The location is great as it took less than 10 mins to go to airport on the day of the return. That is very very helpful. It has Tim Horton and Starbucks right next door and that is helpful.

Check in was amazing easy and very accommodating- my only disappointmen was the cleaning staff on the 6th floor who were very rude and vocalized very brutal and vulgar with how many rooms they had to clean that day. I met Angela on the Sunday (I believe she was a supervisor) and she was very apologetic and said she would tske care of it. She was wonderful
