Super 8 by Wyndham Brunswick South/I-95

Above the inside bathroom door was black mold. Not enough outlets and USB connections. On a positive the bed was comfortable but the pillows were small. Hand rails in the shower area and lighting would crest a safer environment.

Unfortunately, the AC was a bit noisy and there seemed to be a mosquito in the room. But the price was right for a nice bed and spacious room.

The hotel was clean.My granddaughter enjoyed the swimming pool. Places to eat were close enough to walk to.I say a great weekend thanks to the very friendly staff

The property was OK. The room was pretty clean but the room was supposed to come with a handicap bathroom while the bathroom is large and you can in a wheelchair get to the toilet. You will not take a shower as a handicap person. I have specifically requested rooms with wheelchair access and a certain people that own a lot of hotels will lie to you and say it is handicap access when it is not I even called and asked if the room was wheelchair accessible he lied and said it was there’s one handicap parking and there’s only one ramp for the entire building to even get up onto the sidewalk to get into the doors anywhere in the hotel if I was to have wanted to go out to the pool, there’s no way I could do so. They also said they provide breakfast. There is no breakfast there ain’t even coffee made in the attitude of the people behind the counter is absolutely horrendous. I would not stay there again but for somebody that’s completely capable go ahead stay there, but don’t expect no breakfast and don’t expect friendly service.

Beds were very clean and comfortable and the AC was good and cold Room smelled musty and the water had a odd smell.

Location and price were great. You get what you pay for but it gave us an accessible way to spend a weekend at the beach. Free coffee station My biggest frustration was the lack of towels/ toiletries/ pillows. It felt like really cheaping out on simple basic motel things. We were given 3 tiny uncomfortable pillows. Requested more and were told they "only had one". Out of the whole motel... Breakfast included was one of the selling points for us and it was a joke. Literally one packaged muffin when we went down at 7:30 only one small stand for muffins. 1 shampoo, no conditioner, and 1 bar soap... to split between for body in the shower and hands for the sink. Very thin walls could hear everything. Online portal didn't work for late checkout request

Besides being quiet and in a good location. The Wi-Fi was great no lang at all. I found the bed in our room to be quite comfortable. It is a bit dated, but for an economy motel I have definitely seen worse. At least it was clean.

It definitely was run down a bit. I only use the shower but the jets for the spa bathtub/shower we're kind of cruddy

My room was clean check in was easy checkout was easy with no problems with the room whatsoever. The only thing is the bed was a little uncomfortable but then again you get what you pay for other than that it was an excellent visit. Needs better mattresses

I was very impressed, it was a very nice spacious room..If was a quiet location and I felt very safe there..This was the best rest that I have gotten staying away from home..We will be using this location everytime we come back to Brunswick to visit family..

A bit costly for a Super 8 Motel. The cost was a little high.

Room was clean. Definitely older property. Pets allowed which was great! My door however did not have any interior installation so it was not as secure as I would like and allowed noise and sunlight through it. In room fridge definitely needed to be cleaned better.

The staff were very nice and the room had newer floors. The chairs were stained, the bedding had small rip, we had a non-smoking room but it smelled faintly of smoke (I don't count this against the hotel, but I just wanted to make note in case anyone was allergic to smoke), the furniture was old and not in good shape and it didn't feel like a safe place to be.

The staff was courteous and very helpful, the room was fine except for the carpet was coming off the floor between the beds and the mirror/vanity area. A coffee maker would be great and better lighting for putting on makeup.

After reading a ton of the reviews I don’t understand what anyone has to complain about. Our room was clean and spacious. They had enough room for truck parking. Check in was smooth. Great price and great service.

I had a 3 night stay. When I returned to my room on both night 2 and 3, my room key would not work and I had to go to the office to have it fixed. The lady working the desk was on her phone both times and did not even look up until I spoke up. There was no apology for my trouble or anything. Just “What is your room number?”

Had to keep moving rooms. First one was a smoking room when I asked for non-smoking, next one smelled moldy, next one tv didn't work. On the positive side, the front desk staff person was very responsive and always tried to help fix things.

So everyone knows at a hotel they have great hot water heaters and never run out of hot water, well there was no steam from the hot water and I stayed in there at east 30 minutes hoping it would get hotter. I've seen more steam from a sewer drainage than I did from this shower. Shower curtains was nasty needed cleaning, there was a hair in the tub.

We just needed a place to sleep enroute it was fine for what we paid, staff was good and checkin easy. Room was clean and this is all based on value I was not expecting more. It had a fridge and bathrooms and linens were clean .

I had been on the road driving 11 hours that day, returning home from planning and being at my mother's unexpected funeral. I was traveling with my 3 dogs, since it was unexpected and I had no other choice. When i showed up she said there was a maximum of 2 dogs and i cant stay there. She proceeded to tell me to go to another hotel. After explaining there were no details about a max pet limit and that i specifically look at all those details to be sure. She then said fine, but made me pay more than what the website said. Then she messed up the payment and tells me to call hotels.com rather it was her mistake and she needed to call hotels.com. She continued arguing with me and being unnecessarily rude. Needless to say, I will NEVER stay here or at ANY Super 8s, nor will I EVER recommend them. The room was disgusting. Glad you charged me extra to stay at your #$%!hole. Never again. You couldn't PAY ME to stay there!

We woke up the following morning to no water at the facility. All 3 of us needed showers and to get ready to embark on another 7 hour drive to our next destination. When we went downstairs to ask why there was no water, we were told it got shut off and they were unsure when it was going to be turned back on. We were told we could go swimming in the pool by the front desk lady. We went to go eat breakfast, which since there was no water… there was no coffee, no juice… The only thing there was little Debbie cakes for breakfast. Thankfully there was a Dunkin’ Donuts down the road. We packed up and left the facility without being able to wash our face, brush our teeth or shower. We had to improvise and stop to get bottled water to at least wash our faces and brush our teeth. Staff was rude, made no apologies for the inconvenience! Steer clear of this hotel, it wasn’t worth the stay or the money.

Adequate overnight stay. Room was comfortable. Towels are small, thin, and rough. Carpet was dirty enough to stain your bare feet, but rest of the room seemed clean. Breakfast was muffins and cereal. (We planned to eat at Dennys right across the street.) We didn’t expect much for the price of our stay and that’s what we got.

The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was large and there were "grab bars" in the bathtub to assist with your shower. I thought that was very thoughtful. Probably the nicest Super 8. Only a few selections for breakfast, but very do-able.

ZERO signs of mold and critters. However, the pool was not maintained (green and gross during summer months)- we went to the beach to swim. Their provided breakfast was a joke (mini pre-packaged muffins OR granola bars)- I brought my electric skillet to cook with. Vending machine empty for the whole stay- WinnDixie is literally across the street for all your grocery/snacking needs. Laundry machines not up to par- not even worth trying to wash clothes. I didn't see any fire extinguishers anywhere, which I'm pretty sure is against safety codes.. In my opinion, this motel is only good as a rest stop- a great place to rest and shower, but that's it.

There was water spots on the ceiling as well as peeling paint. When I complained they immediately gave us another room. It was worse. I will say this. They did not argue with me, and allowed me to cancel immediately.

I would not stay here again. The rooms appeared clean but my feet were dirty walking on the rugs. It felt musty. Blankets were VERY thin. Only had towels for 2 and room slept 4. The staff were ok but spoke limited English. The website shows breakfast included with a waffle machine in the photo. But all they had was packaged muffins, oatmeal cream pies and cereal. No real breakfast. Lots of random people walking around outside. Not worth the price. I gave a 3 star because the beds were very comfortable and the rooms appeared neat.

The only reason we booked this place was because it had listed that there was an off leash area for dogs. I even double checked when I called before booking. Once we got there after a 12 hour drive we discovered that there wasn’t an off leash area. Definitely won’t be back.

This place is a dump. It appeared to have people living at this motel. The pictures are very deceiving! There was a bunch of loud men hanging out in front of my room in the evening. I had to go solo on this trip. I was not able to leave my room because I was scared of the men outside. The owners of this motel did nothing about this. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Hotel room was nice, clean and smelled good. Very convenient place to stay. The only issues i had was with the bed itself. It was super hard and very uncomfortable!

On the road traveling to Florida this made for a very quick and comfortable stay just off the Interstate.

It was clean and quiet. Plenty of room. Actually had working channels on the television. Plenty of places to eat in the area

It was conveniently located to the interstate and islands for a reasonable price and quiet neighbors in surrounding rooms.

I would stay here again =)

Was it the Taj? No. But I wasn’t Taj prices. Would stay there again.

I can’t believe..

Everything was great

Honestly, I wasn't expecting too much, being such a low rate and right by the interstate, but I was pleasantly surprised. The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was a little softer than mine at home but I still slept very well. The lady at the front desk when I checked in was fabulous! She was very friendly and answered any questions that I had. Also, they were dog friendly, so my fur baby was able to stay with us for only $10 more.

Was told $30 early check in turn out they charged $70 because they had to rush to clean. Ok to sleep but dont expect breakfast or coffee you'll have to go to the gas station. No extra toilet paper in room. Use wisely or you'll get stuck.

Room was nice

Cheap night's sleep! It was exactly what you would expect from a budget motel. Everything worked, the front staff was friendly, guests were a bit noisy but nothing outrageous. My only complaint would be the blankets are VERY thin. If you like sleeping in a cold room, be sure to bring your own blanket. The first night my A/C was on 72 degrees and I was cold, so I turned it to 74 degrees the second night and was fine

Great hotel/motel! I stopped in for a one night stay. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet, and the staff was friendly. EZ off/on 95 and comfortable lodging!

Just an overnight stay. First room we were assigned had small bugs (some form of ant) all over the desk. The sofa looked like it should have a one way trip to the dump. We asked for a different room and the front desk quickly gave us a new room. (no visible bugs)

There were roaches in the bathroom . No way to soap in shower , except your hand .

Adequate, but nothing special. Clean, but the smell of stale cigarette smoke was sometimes noticeable. We heard sounds from other rooms and nearby traffic almost all the time. For the price, I guess it was okay.

The breakfast was cereal, muffins, coffee, and toast. The eating area was clean. Snack bending machines were empty. A few positive things were the bathroom was spotless, and the staff was always friendly.

Shower flooded out-handicap-drain blocked. Person at front desk did not speak English and had to call someone on phone. Did not sound concerned. Will not stay at Amy Super 8.
