The TV channel choices were very good. The bed was comfortable. The room was good sized and clean. I think I was the only guest there that night, so it looked a bit abandoned. Ownership may have just changed as the large sign at the front was blacked out. The booking indicated free breakfast but I didn't see any food that morning. The sink was starting to separate from the wall. There was no iron in the room.

The price and location were good. Convenient for short one-night stays. Facilities were dirty, people were smoking where they weren't supposed to, breakfast was almost non-existent (consisted only of muffins, apple juice, and coffee). If you want breakfast, just go to the Waffle House nearby.

It looks really nice on the outside, met other nice guest. Being ignored by staff, shower didn't work, bathroom wasn't cleaned in room. Bed was hard as rock. Blankets weren't great. Fridge didn't keep anything cold.

Air poor quality, odor of mold and had poor air flow. Pillows were too small for bed and hard. Towels were not bath towels.

It was clean The bed was so hard I mean hard I'm 6' 350 # I don't think I sunk in a inch it was terrible there was only one towel and one small dish towel the pillow was wore out. It was clean .

Property is as expected for the price, very humble and accommodating. Sometimes not the cleanest but just due to over time taking damage.

Our 2 bed hotel got sold out from under us after the fact we already paid for it so we got a 2 bed with a pull out couch that was eaten up by something …. Not to mention we had family stay in another from after the fact they paid for thier room some random people walked in thier from as we were getting ready to go to the beach . Ice buckets in the room but no ice anywhere . Breakfasts wasn’t breakfast it was basically a snackk with muffins & juice … oh & not to mention there was wires hanging out the bathroom ceiling in the lobby .

It was affordable. Very unwelcoming clerk, interrogating me at check-in. There was a bucket in the hallway outside my door, catching air conditioning condensation, which was an omen for the 1-night stay. The bathroom sink fixture was loose and had a mildew crust around the base. No hand soap, but it didn't matter because I had hand sanitizer, but no body wash in the shower was aggravating because I found out after I got in there. The ice machine was broken on a hot day, which was annoying. I wasn't expecting The Ritz Carlton for the low mobile-only price, but jiminy cricket: friendliness, cleanliness, and customer service isn't expensive. If you advertise basic amenities, provide them, ABVI.

( we checked into one that the fridge didn’t work and there was old food in it, they switched us to another room no problem) but this time there were roaches all over. It was disgusting. And we will not be back

It was nice and quiet. The staff was polite and friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the bed was too hard. The room was small but I still liked the cozy atmosphere in the room. It was just the bed was too hard for me.

The queen bed was a double. No breakfast no vending no ice no drinks no microwave. The hairdryer was broken. The television didn’t work. Nothing was comped or credited or even fixed. This day was for two days. The television didn’t work the entire time that we were there. They didn’t care for two people they gave two very flat pillows when I asked for extra pillows and extra towel towels because we had the Jacuzzi suite she gave me one pillow and one towel. The pillow was for a standard or twin bed and we were supposed to be sleeping in a queen bed and it was a double at BEST. The staff was rude unhelpful. The owner was abrasive when I asked for ice he opened a bag and told me to stick my hand in it and get the ice that I wanted out because they took everything out of their vending machines and out of the ice machine so you could not get a snack or anything the vending was completely broken. There’s no microwave in the room.

Property does not have guest laundry, no operating vending area, no breakfast and the pool area is poorly maintained as well as the rooms. The laundry room is full of dollar general shopping carts instead of operating washers and dryers, room had trash and used soap from previous guest and beds are hard as a flint stone slab bed.

The outside was overdone the inside smell horribly the elevator made a noise as soon as you reached the second floor we were on the 3rd The sink was broken in the room there was roaches the closet was broken and the adjoining door to the next room lock was also broken had to put chairs in front of it to make sure nobody came through in the middle of the night overall next time I'm going down the street

Still waiting on refund. The room was dirty. The walls looked like someone was killed in there. My daughter called it the murder room. There were wires sticking out of the light fixture. The door knob came off in my hand when trying to exit the stairwell.

The only real issue is the fact that you can’t wash your clothes. And the keys stop working after a day. But other than that it’s a great hotel

Someone puked in the bed and it hasn’t been cleaned like this for god knows how long. We checked in very late in the night and in the morning we discovered it. In the bathroom the door doesn’t even close. The entire room smells like mold and disgusting. Avoid this hotel in very possible circumstances.

We did have a lovely stay in Jekyll island and Brunswick, it is a beautiful place, we just dreaded the hotel.

The beds were hard! There was no ice machines available and the hotel reeked of marijuana it was awful. They would spray deodorizer to try to cover it up. It is not a place for little children. This was the second time I gave them a chance I will not be staying at this hotel anymore and the staff are not friendly and do not care about your concerns!

Also it’s odd to have large religious paraphernalia at a business not associated with religion. I’m all for freedom of religion but it’s just weird to go to a motel and walk into a church like entry The positives location and the price wss semi reasonable. Glad we only needed one night. So I’d say if is okay if that’s all you need and you don’t care about comfort

My mom compared it to how it was in the 80s- when she went with our older relatives; you’d just leave the keys and they’d take care of the rest. No wait, no bs. Floor was gritty. Lizard was in the room. Plastic bag was over the smoke alarm (?) no ice! No snack machine! Employee looked like he just woke up. Not dressed appropriately to work a front desk. No coffee creamer. Just a bad experience all around. Not sure if there were bed bugs because I woke up itching all over.

The room was dirty when we checked in there is was dead roaches in the bathroom and on top of the dresser the remote controller didnt work either

When i brought my luggage up on the cart the called right away and told us to bring it down i was still getting my stuff off .i had wires hanging out from where the smoke detector was suppse to be i called and asked for a light bulb as qe need one he ok never brought one. Then when i went to check out at at 540 am no one answered the bell apple and orange juice was bad. I dont leave bad reviews but they need to tighten up

There was no housekeeping, no towels I had asked for, and no supplies for the guests. It was not a very friendly place to stay.

Location and because it’s getting cold smoking rooms were an option upon arrival. The rooms were a nice size. Many upgrades needed. Bathrooms especially. Over all I was comfortable and the price was very affordable just bring cleaning supplies and raid. Windows need a screen to keep bugs out!

Dirty dilapidated blood staibs on pillow sheets yellow

The hotel from the outside looked nice, and kept. The inside lobby was clean, small, with minimal seating and I think a microwave. The real shock was when we got into the room. As soon as we opened the door there was an immediate musky, dirty odor smell throughout. The beds looked like collapsible trundle beds with rock hard mattresses. All of the blankets and sheets that were in the bedroom had stains along them as well as holes on top and bottom. Same as with our towels. The bathroom towels were all stained. The shower didn’t produce more than luke warm water with no water pressure. Also, the toilet in the bathroom was not secured down so it rocked when you tried to sit. The room itself was overall just dirty with holes in the walls/paint, exposed wiring, and random wires and power strips along the walls.

Roaches crawling all over the floor

We got there and went to are rooms there were roaches in the dressers we had them move us rooms and there were roaches in the dressers there also awful place to stay got are money refunded and had to go find another place to stay. Keep in mind this was at 1130pm after driving 14 hrs.

The staff was awful, my AC didn't work, nor did my fridge. I switched rooms and they tried to make me leave even though I still had 3 days on my reservation. And there was roaches everywhere.

I saw and killed 2 Roaches, The top covers on both beds were stained with what looked like blood, I had to ask for 2 more of the white sheets. They need to spray and get new blankets for their beds

It still had The Wire on it on the hair dryer, but it had little things to. No off the wires, so the hair dryer piece was gone, she couldn't use it. We had asked for towels. Our room was not ready when we got there. And the pool closed at dusk.

Rate was paid twice for one stay, uncooperative when requested refund in a timely manner on day of double booking, employee denied his when I bought it to his attention. Never staying again, will not recommend this ABV in Brunswick,GA. Employee was very disrespectful to Expedia,staff, also. Numerous other anomalies exist at this ABV, really needs to be evaluated by the American Hospitality/ Hotel and Lodging Association immediately to I address cleanliness of linen, towels, wash clothes, and facility maintenance as a whole.

Booked a room with the jetted tub and it was absolutely amazing.

Please refer to previous reviews I have submitted, the manager refused to refund my overbooking; Expedia substantiated that on stay was paid twice. I communicated with the employee in a timely manner, he denied this was the case. I am not recommending this ABV in Brunswick, GA to anyone, there are numerous anomalies in addition to the above stated, I thought they would improve, but not so. Breakfast is advertised, not offered is one complaint, take the sign down if this is not offered.

CHIEF COMPLAINT IS DOUBLE BOOKING WAS BROUGHT TO EMPLOYEE'S ATTENTION IN A TIMELY MANNER on Aug. 15th, HE DENIED IT. Expedia can substantiate this, management was very rude to them also. This ABV in Brunswick, GA has unprofessional staff, has the most dirtiest, dingiest, linen, towels, wash cloths, and poor lighting I have experienced, each time I am there, I look for improvement, not so.

I had a concern with double booking, this particular motel will not ever be visited, I am not recommending prospective guests because a rate concern arose prior to leaving for my flight on Thursday, August 15th, and the employee denied this occurred, the receipts and hotel surveillance can substantiate this conversation and validate the over payment. I was not surprised, because this has occurred in the past, I thought they would have changed for the better, but not so. In addition, linen were not clean, as were the towels and wash clothes, the elevator is noncompliant, and numerous concerns. This establishment requires a thorough evaluation IMMEDIATELY!

Hotel was not in good shape overall. It is very dated and so are all the furnishings and fixtures. There were extension cords tacked on wall to power tv and light. The ceiling lights were very dim and not sufficient outlets for CP machine or phone chargers. The sheets appeared to be clean but the comforters were filthily. While unloading our car on Wednesday night, we witnessed a girl drop a bottle at side entrance which sent glass everywhere. We had been told to use this entrance with our pups, so we reported the issue immediately however no one seemed to be concerned as it was still there the following morning. Needless to say, we used the front door to protect our babies paws. Overall, it was too dingy and not clean enough for us to return.

Clerk was nice. Wanted to upsell me to get a non smoking room. I had not realized I booked that until it was done. I didn’t think there was such anymore. Anyways, once I declined twice to pay more, he did give me a non smoking different type of room. But it worked well. It’s nicer than the super 8 almost next door. I didn’t use the pool but I saw guests in it. For the price, it’s very fair. I’d come back

Unfortunately I had to spend the night in Woodbine/Brunswick unexpectedly due to the tropical storm Debby. I was well please when I found America’s Best Value Inn. They were able to accommodate me well. They are affordable, have complimentary breakfast and was able to extend my checkout. The pool was temporarily closed but the weather didn’t permit use anyway. All in all, I would definitely stay again and would recommend this family hotel to any future guest.

The property didn't match the pictures on the website. The room was damp upon entry and had a funky smell. The blow dryer had a short as well. Overall we only needed the room for a weekend so it served the purpose we needed it for. The pool was nice and clean and my son enjoyed that most

Staff was very kind and friendly. The lobby was cute and quaint. Unfortunately the room was not up to a great standard of cleanliness.. It states it is smoke free, but we were greeted with a huge whiff of smoke the second we walked into our room. The beds were very hard and there were holes in the bedding. The floors were dirty and some areas looked like they have not been cleaned in a while. We decided to seek out a different hotel for our stay.
