Mini fridge rattled and hummed so loud you could not hear the TV over it and kept you awake. Had to unplug it to go to sleep. Bathroom fan didn't work at all.

Excellent budget travel or vacation option! The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean. Everything in the room functioned properly. The hotel is quietly situated away from town. There are several options close to the hotel for basic supplies. The location is good in that everything, the town or nearby islands, are all about 15 to 20 minutes away. The perfect quiet, stress-free pivot point for everything in the area.

Annie was great checking us in and making recommendations for dinner. The room was dated but clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was only cereal, muffins, toast, and waffle. No option that was carbs/sugar. Overall great value for the price.

We were pleasantly surprised by this little place. We were honestly just looking for a cheap place to lay our heads for the night on a long trip home. I’m usually very picky about hotels but on this trip we were on a tight budget and I was a little nervous when booking. However, this place was absolutely wonderful. Very clean, extremely friendly staff, and the waffles at breakfast were great!! It’s also conveniently located off 95 if you’re looking for somewhere on a long drive. It’s also about 15 min from Jekyll Island and we took full advantage of that during the evening that we stayed. We would definitely stay here again.

Rooms are dated but nice and spacious, looks like they have done renovations. Shower was nice and hot in the morning. There was a continental breakfast of waffles and toast and things but we did not try any of it as we had other breakfast plans. Coffee in the lobby 24/7. Check out was a breeze, the gentleman was also very nice and friendly. You can tell they really care about their place! One thing that no one else noted- no elevator, had to take stairs to second floor. Not a big deal for us but could be for someone else.

Close proximity ti I 95 for an overnight stay on a long journey. Reasonable pricing My unit had a crack evident in the sink which caused water to leak onto the floor. I brought this to the attention of the owner. I presume it was taken care of.

Building was mostly clean, there was a live beetle crawling around the bathroom… the remote didn’t work the tv so I had to program it myself, the WiFi didn’t work after asking 2-3 time for a reset, it started working as we checked out..

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! It's cheap for a reason. My sister and I walked in and smiled at the front desk person and owner and no one spoke plus the next day as we were checking out, it was the same thing with no one smiling or speaking as you walk up to the desk. They don't have an elevator which is the very first time I have seen that in my 35 years of life so we had to drag our suitcases up the stairs. They had stains on the VERY THIN bed spread. It was not an actual comforter. The walls had stains and it smelled old. I am so happy all we did was sleep there a couple of hours. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Efficient and easy checkin, where everything was explained before I could even ask. Several accessible rooms were available and we wanted to be on first floor (no elevator). The room was freshly remodeled using gray wood flooring, and beautiful gray tile in the bathroom. Everything was spotless; great water pressure in the shower with 3 dispensers holding shampoo, conditioner and body wash; lotion and hand soap dispensers were by the sink. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room refrigerator did not have a freezer compartment but our ice block was still close to frozen by morning. We noticed they offer fresh make-your-own waffles and little muffins in the morning but had our hearts set on Waffle House since we don’t have them up north. Will definitely stay here again if the occasion arises!

The room was comfortable and clean. Hot breakfast means waffles or toast. They did have orange and apple juice and coffee available. Powder creamer for the coffee.

The walls were paper thin. I was up most of the night with the tv blaring next door. Needs fixing up. Wall paint coming off, the fixtures loose, old furniture, torn carpet. I would not give this a very good rating. Low 7 at best. I wouldn’t stay there again.

We were never able to check in ... we booked on road & arrived to the rudest person Ive ever dealt with... Hotels.com was amazing in getting it resolved but at that point we had to find another room after traveling 28 hours.. Both of our children were treated poorly as well all bc the rude lady didnt see our reservation... i wont ever stay with ecolodge again... i usually book with laquinta which is where i eneded up but after traveling so long we needed rest...in the future i will drive the extra 20 mins to Laquinta

Bugs are a let down. Breakfast is sparse. Sink cracked up but worked. Coffee only in the lobby, but good coffee. Low lighting. Less costly than the competition and it shows. It was adequate for nights rest. Quiet with efficient check in. Room did have microwave and a refrigerator. It was OK.

We checked into room 120 , we walked in, there were 2 cockroaches on the wall 2 in the ceiling and 3 on one of the beds, they reassigned us to room 110 and this one is clean with no roaches.

I think the main disappointment was the breakfast. There was absolutely no fruit as a salad or individual. We know people take advantage of a bowl of fruit, but even fruit cocktail with a real fruit would have been greatly appreciated. But, most of all, was your use of styrofoam. That is Totally unacceptable! Do you even realize it takes it 500 plus years to disintegrate???? Your live plants in the lobby were a great addition, and your staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was weird. When you enter the room the bathroom sink was on the right outside of the bathroom. The chair and ottoman were so dirty that it should be sent to the landfill. The room had a smell to it. The room on the surface was clean and the bed linens were clean. Super basic sleeping accommodations. It worked for what I needed and okay for solo or adult traveling.

Good staff and room was cleaned but I think it was the carpet giving off a musty smell. Also, half of the secondary latch (that would let you open door partially) was missing. Breakfast was pretty limited compared to similar motels.

When we first walked into our room 226 the smell of mold was so powerful we requested a change of rooms. The second room was better room 110 but later I saw the ceiling in the bathroom was covered in mold. I was traveling with my kids so we decided not to stay the next night and we weren’t given a refund for the unused night. This building is a health hazard mold is extremely toxic to your health. This hotel has a serious mold problem.

The staff was very professional at check in. Our room was very clean and tidy. The continental breakfast was very nice. The cleaning staff was very efficient. The only thing I think the bathroom needed was a safety grab bar for us older people when getting in ,& out of the tub. I'm 82 & my wife is 81 so that would make easier & safer getting out of the tub. Everything else we were very happy with.

I was unable to stay. Property manager had to cancel my reservation, because the property did not have power. The reservation was for 9/29/24. The Property Manager stated that I would receive my refund within 2-3 business days and I still haven’t received anything 10/4/24. I’m not pleased at all. Highly disappointed.

Extremely disappointing! Room was musky and smell like dirty socks and vomit. Power went off about 2 AM due to storm. No lights not even security lights in the stairwell. No hot shower, no hot coffee so my “included free breakfast” could at least be a pastry and bottle of water. No no no.. there supposedly are no pastries and i’ll need to pay $2.00 if I want that bottle of water. I’ve stayed at some bad places on this app, but this one had the worst staff by far.

Although the hurricane hit around 2:30am and knocked the power out, we still had hot water to take a shower! The staff was friendly. No power for breakfast or any amenities, but that's not due to the hotel or staff. It's a nice and inexpensive place to stay!

Ownership apparently takes pride in providing their service. Fastest and friendliest check in. Very clean room and bathroom. Please keep it this way. I always make it a priority to stay at this place when I'm in the area.

I had paid for my room about a month ahead of time via Hotels. Com. The clerk had to search for a bit to find my reservation and was very pleasant in the process. I verified with him that it was a king size bed, he said 'no, I have it listed as two queen beds." I told him & showed him I had confirmation of a king bed. He changed the room immediately asking me if I wanted the first or second floor. Choice is always good! The room was clean, the bedsheets soft & fragrance free. Breakfast had no protein, self made waffles, cold cereal, limited pantries, toast, coffee & juice.

Exceptional! I'm highly Recommending this Econolodge to potential guests! Staff provided the Very Best Customer Services upon checking in and during the visit.

We had to change rooms in the middle of the night due to the extremely bad smell coming from the AC unit. Both rooms that we stayed in had stained bed sheets. The water from the sink and bathtub had a bad smell. No elevator to access the 2nd floor.

Illegals living in the hotel, sitting on the stairs and blocking them when trying to get to room. Loud music in the parking lot until 2 in the morning. NO BREAKFAST even though the listing says they provide it. Again, Econolodge and these other hotels need to stop franchising it makes their name useless when booking because you have no idea what you are going to get.

The customer service was great at checkin and checkout. I basically purchased cleaning supplies and bedding. It is what it is but I shall not return.

The staff is nice and helpful. The lady that worked the front when we was checking in told us about the area and let us know the unsafe places. Very thankful seeing as we have kids

Property was not at all what we expected. Should have known from the price. Never did the breakfast all that was offered was cereal.

This hotel was rated very good on Hotels.com. We would only rate it good. It is located in a safe area with a nice dinner restaurant called Tabby House very close by. The breakfast area is very small and does not compare to the breakfast choices at similar hotels. The pillows in our room were not good. The room was clean but had a strange odor and was dated.

Hotel was extremely clean. We stopped on part of our trip just has place to rest for the night.

The room was very small. The property was close to the interstate.
