Good location, staff was friendly, room was pretty clean Noisy, walls are very thin and I could hear everything coming from other rooms nextdoor. The property is quite old and pretty beat up. The walls in the bedroom were dirty and stained.

It was comfortable and I enjoyed it Some staff were a bit rude

The bed was clean and comfortable. The people were nice. There was a pair of socks on the floor in the shower. Toilet would not flush. Handle was broken. Inside of microwave was filthy. There was no fan in the batheoom and window would not open. The building is in overall poor condition.

Well, it's a 2 star hotel and lives up to that billing. The room was clean and looked decent. The exterior needs more attention. It's the cheapest option if you want to stay in Brockport.
- 2/5
Sleep was impossible as there is apparently no soundproofing at all. At least the connecting door was locked, but I could EASILY hear the entire phone conversation my neightbor had at 11 pm. Fortunately, I had earplugs. The maid did a superb job, and must surely have reported the hole and the lights to management. The Econo Lodge was never going to be the Hilton nor did I expect it to be, but it could have been something much, much better if the owners spent a few bucks and gave a damn at all.
- 4/5
Very good
- 3/5
Property was under construction (hopefully for renovation). Material was piled up around the building and the building had many signs of disrepair.
- 1/5
The room was NOT clean at all. We found a bug in the bed along with all sorts of dirt on each of the different layers of sheets, and mattress and box spring covers. The rest of the room was also filthy, and there was stuff still left in the room from previous guests. We ended up with an adjoining room, and the only thing keeping the people in the other room from having access to our room was a "do not disturb" sign as either side could unlock the door. It also looks run down and sketchy from the outside. We did not feel safe (or clean) in the room. We checked out after only being their for two hours as we felt we would be more comfortable and safe sleeping in our car in a nearby parking lot as opposed to staying in this hotel. Do yourself a favor and just find a different hotel to stay at.
- 1/5
Looks like a trafficking spot. The 1st comforter had blood stains and cigarette burns, asked for a new one which was better but still felt sketchy. The lock on the window was broken and fridge in room smelled awful. The breakfast was made of a few items the employee must've picked up from Walmart on their way in. Coffee was terrible, bagels weren't fresh and expect to pour your juice from a minute maid carton. Will never stay here again, do not advise for women or families, or anyone for that matter.

Broken lights, no toilet paper holder, dirty floor, cigarette burns in bedding

The structure of the hotel looks as if it's going to crumble and fall down .Our room was upstairs, for the way it's structure is we should have gotten a downstairs. The compliments ( shampoo and conditioner, soap ) where used ,no new ones given in our room, stains on the towels, bathtub/ shower didn't work correctly, I told them I was only staying during the day,no overnight. The place didn't look safe, the door sign I cutt my finger on trying to pick it up, very thrifty hotel, shouldn't even be on bookings, very poor quality,I left after about a half hour, didn't feel comfortable or safe, the freezer was also all frostbite, so definitely couldn't use that, just dirty in general, would never recommend this place, cost me $125 to stay for half hour, never again, this place needs to be shut down, I'd rather spend $30 extra for a better, safer place than Econo Lodge!!

All rooms are on ground floor, with windows facing parking. The bathroom window did not lock at all - mechanism was broken and screen ripped. The window in the main (sleeping) room had a single lock. The towels had brown stains on them. The bed was reasonably comfortable but the pillows (only 3 for a king bed) were small and squashed.

No washer room right next on both sides of my room people in the room all night long after hours so I can get a parking full draft coming through the walls from the middle of the building cuz the door is open for the laundry and then there so air was blowing around to the bed every time somebody left the laundry rooms they knock on the f****** door
- 1/5
Holes in walls, some electrical outlets did not have plates, broken lamps
- 1/5
The room was filthy and unsafe. We checked out immediately and they refused to give us a refund despite us not even staying.
- 3/5
coffee machine and muffins
- 3/5
The building was in pretty rough shape. The room definitely needs a better cleaning as well.
- 4/5
Clean, comfortable, quiet. Just a little older
- 3/5
The room had a very strong odor of cigarette smoke and cleaner. Had to open the window for a couple hours to let it air out some. Building was under renovation it looked like. Staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Clean spacious room. Clean bathroom. Wifi signal needs boosting, showing 2 out of 5 bars.
- 1/5
You should not rent rooms while your building is in complete disrepair
- 1/5
This property is absolutely disgusting. I had low expectations because of the price I have stayed economy hotels before this is by far the worst
- 3/5
Very easy to find very easy to park was under construction, so there was a lot going on, but staff was very kind and got a good night sleep.
- 1/5
Room dirty and unkept. Needs a good cleaning. Looks like construction is going on. Paint chipping, needs a good paint job. If it wasn't already paid for and we were exhausted we would have left.. No breakfadt as advertised. Ishould if stayed going on
- 2/5
Room was clean, the clientele mostly section 8 were a bit iffy. Personally , that building is falling apart and needs to be torn down , half ass patchwork on the balcony not the cleanest on the outside! By far the seediest hotel Ive ever stayed in!
- 3/5
Parked nfvwas ok
- 1/5
Couldn’t even stay our night there because it was infested with bugs!!! (Stink bugs and what looked like bed bugs) The toilet had a ring of MOLD in it, there were light switches that didn’t work, microwave was disgusting and there was screams coming from other rooms. Didn’t feel safe at all so after we came back from our event we attended we immediately checked out.
- 2/5
The property was run down. The concrete on the outside of the building is literally crumbling on the underside of the second floor walkway. There were holes in the walls of the room. The floors were filthy. The furniture was old and in bad repair. The “breakfast area” was filthy. The counter was sticky and dirty. If there had been any other option in Brockport I would not have stayed here at all. I booked two nights at this location and left the second night and drove two hours home because I did not want to sleep in this filthy place again. If I could give this property zero stars I would.
- 5/5
Cool
- 1/5
Room floor sticky. Outer deck falling apart. Construction material laying around. Loud rap music. Noisy kids
- 3/5
The construction garbage all over , and work going on , the room was surprisingly clean and spacious , it was early so the work continued till after 6pm , was very tired so rested with the noise
- 3/5
It was perfectly fine for the night.
- 2/5
Tv moved. Could have painted that spot where tv used to be. Smelled of smoke/mold. Broken towel rack in bathroom. Toilet did not flush. No extra security lock on doors. Corners of br looked like there was build up of dirt. How can they justify cost of room. Outside looked like it was in the process of facelift.
- 1/5
This place is so terrible that we walked into our room and immediately left. Had to find another place to stay. The second floor walkway is propped up with an occasional 2x4. Bags of Quickcrete laying around. Trash everywhere! And the last straw was bugs in the bed! I didn't even stick around to try to get a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE and shame on Expedia for even including this place in their listings!
- 2/5
Rough structure and basic accommodations. Room was clean and served the purpose for my dog show trip. Major disappointment was that the tv did not work and staff could not remedy. Kept loosing connection and shutting down after 2 to 5 minutes. Was told it was likely because it had rained. Frustrating when the adjacent room had tv on all night long
- 1/5
Didn't stay. Property was falling apart
- 1/5
Absolutely do not stay, EVEN if you have to. Rooms are literally falling apart, with cabinets missing doors, towel rack missing bars, and lights not working. The floor is sticky and will leave your feet BLACK. Found hair on my bed, likely from a precious occupant
- 1/5
Hotel very rough shape see pics. Inside just as bad as the outside. Horrible smell in the room. No towels. Just overall dirty and poor. Stay away!
- 2/5
Paint pealing old and run down on the outside area
- 4/5
The property is falling apart. Outside was dilapidated. Room furniture very outdated. Bathroom is at the front of the room. Awkward.
- 2/5
The exterior of the building is terrible.
- 1/5
Disgusting room. Sheets had hair and crumbs all on the sheets, along with red stains and holes.
- 1/5
This place should be closed down. Our room was not clean. I had to ask for different pillows bc mine were not clean and the ones I got smelled of cigarette smoke. Overflowing smelly garbage can outside the rooms and when I told them they should empty it they looked at me like I was crazy. Lazy staff who made a young girl who looked about 13 or 14 do the work. Disgusting place.
- 1/5
I have stayed at several Econo lodges in the past. All of them were clean inside and out. This one however, was filthy and run down. I would avoid this place at all costs
- 1/5
Place is a disaster. Looks dirty, food not cleaned up in lobby. Garbage can overflowing. Staff just siting around. My sister's room had dirty sheets and towel. Just gross.
- 1/5
We did not stay here. We asked for our money back. The paint was peeling on the outside, soffit was falling off, very dirty and rundown. People were living there permanently. We didn’t feel safe there. The room was very small and dss as Ted.
- 1/5
its was no good of a trip. nothing worked in the rooms and no cable only apps tv you had to pay for
- 1/5
Hotel in state of disrepair with unsavory characters outside. Room has sticky floors so much that my kids were making jokes. Kids refused to sleep on the bed. Bed had unidentified bugs under the covers, both sheets had cigarette burns. There was trash around the room , used bandaid, dirty napkins. The AC also had an unidentified pink sticky substance. When in the lobby, the employee was reviewing CCTV footage with what appeared to be a long term guest regarding what seemed to be a car break in incident.
- 3/5
Needs a bit more cleaning and touch uos like some outlets not working and walls had drywall tape on it toilet barely flushed and it ran all night, for a quick stop its good for a vacation not so much
- 4/5
Tim hortons is right outside your window, my favorite
- 3/5
The place was dirty and rundown had more permanent residence Than people renting rooms desk clerks were never at front desk for eighty four dollars a day I could have and should have gotten a rb will never stay in another eco lodge
- 2/5
Not enjoyable!
- 2/5
The place does not look cared for. The room was clean, but no maids in 5 days. The walls had chipping paint. The exterior seemed unsafe due to failing concrete and broken screens in windows. The bagels in the continental breakfast were stale. The lobby was dirty and disorderly.
- 1/5
Drove with two young kids to stay one night with my husband. Arrived and people were sitting in lawn chairs outside yelling, fighting, drinking, being belligerent. We did not even proceed to the room because of how unsafe the environment was. Ended up eating the cost of the room and booking with a hotel down the street. The staff were very nice but if you have children, do not stay here.
- 4/5
Restaurants within walking distance.
- 1/5
Did not stay. There were five cop cars outside, pointing their lights at one of the guest’s room. A sketchy man standing out watching as I entered the room. Did not feel safe at all and left immediately to check into a different property.
- 2/5
I knew what I was getting into...I had read the reviews, but I did't want to spend 200 dollars for one night
- 3/5
The exterior was dirty, remnants of yellow crime tape, people lingering in parking lot and near stairwells who looked like addicts and were loud, stairwell was dark and narrow and had trash in walkway
- 3/5
This motel is very close to SUNY Brockport and the price is reasonable.
- 1/5
I have already filed a report but highly do not recommended. Believe people are living here, there is shopping carts everywhere. I had a man try to enter my vehicle. Unclean rooms, and did not feel safe here with my family. Ended up leaving and going to another hotel
- 3/5
The carpet was torn, the tile floor had several tile loose, the toliet paper holder was torn off the wall, the window would not lock, the freezer in the frig was a solid block of ice,the T.V. was taken off the wall and wires were hanging down and there was a big spot that was not painted where the T.V. use to be ,there were wires hanging down under the table between the beds.
- 2/5
The shower was surprisingly nice with good pressure & warmth & cleanliness. They had lots of little amenities like reading lights, magnifying mirror, mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer etc They had adequate sample toiletries. We had enough clean towels. The staff was pleasant enough. The AC worked well. The location was good on a main road & there was a Wegmans across the street. There was peeling paint in bathroom ceiling, the toilet leaked water onto the floor, the plumbing was very noisy with banging noises a lot, the floor was dirty with my bare feet, there was a dead bug under my pillow, the mattress was very squeaky, the pillows were very small, the toilet seat moved around, the towel rack was broken. The outside was ugly and there appeared to be a drug dealer doing deals in the parking lot. The first night there were people partying late into morning hours being loud.

Staff were friendly, but the condition of the property was terrible. Beds and rooms decently clean, should invest in their renovating or updating property.
- 1/5
this place was disgusting! this place did not match the pictures on expedia. i did not stay here and was refused a refund.
- 1/5
Dirtiest hotel I've ever had my family stay in. Floor wasn't clean, dresser drawers, walls etc..heating and a/c unit didn't work, microwave was broken.. random nuts bolts and screws around the room for my baby to choke on... Non smoking room that smelled terribly like cigarettes. Exhaust fan in bathroom sounded like it was going to blow apart. Grounds outside had trash everywhere. Just a run down travesty. Highly wouldn't recommend
- 3/5
Cons: paint peeling on a few spots, a pipe cover fell off wall exposing the pipe, refrigerator had an old used juice box in it and wasn't turned on, room had slight smell of stale cigarettes. Trade offs for an inexpensive room. If you need to stay there, it will do. I'd give it a 3.5.
- 1/5
Electrocuted by hairdryer in bathroom and all I got was an apology Bear wires. And I left my Pillows there that’s my fault.
- 2/5
This property was dirty and rundown. There were very little options for.” continental breakfast” white bread and two kinds of dry cereal and apples was what they offered; empty cabinets, empty shelves.. not worth the price they charged. Disappointed.
- 1/5
(they had no rental insurance). Apparently it was not acceptable for them so they used ‘Dad’s’ CC and went elsewhere. However, my cousins stayed there while visiting college and said it was clean, comfortable and breakfast was very nice. They would stay again. I thank you for this last minute reservation the night of the fire. Desk clerk was so nice and understood our dilemma We had no obligation to these 2 students but we were concerned for them so we booked (midnight) your EconoLodge (w/breakfast) to ease both their trauma - and ours. What’s wrong with these kids? Thank you for your kindness and understanding in our time of ‘trauma’.
- 1/5
This property was not anything like it's description or pictures provided. The stairs were metal and rusted through and barely functioning. First room we had, the door mechanism did not work. I was given another room and did a mattress check and saw live bed bugs on the bed. When I told the front desk person, they said nothing at all so I left and was forced to buy another hotel room somewhere else but now with surge pricing and much more expensive.
- 5/5
Place was great reserved with a C/C and was able to pay cash .
- 4/5
Convenient location. Property was a bit run down and the room door stuck..
- 3/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Convenient because of the breakfast which was continental and good. 3 stars overall because we had neighbors one night talking loudly and playing music until about 4 am. Granted we did not notify the staff.
- 1/5
People were talking loudly and smoking right out side our room, so our room smelled like spoke. We won't be staying there again.
- 3/5
Staff was very nice , room was clean . Tv was very small and outdated , kept freezing up/glitching
- 1/5
Do not stay here! The room we were assigned was small, dingy, and dark. Only one light worked, no lamps. The bedspread had multiple burn holes. I knew this was a budget motel, but I didn’t imagine that it would be extraordinarily awful! We took our losses, checked out, and went to another property. Do not waste your money.
- 2/5
Smell in room, air conditioner filter was dirty.
- 1/5
The worst condition room I’ve ever seen.
- 1/5
There were holes in the walls and the door was rusted- not confident it would lock. It was loud and there were families living in it. We left instead of staying the night.
- 2/5
Poor cleanliness.
- 2/5
Breakfast very limited , no orange juice no milk few bread slices , no muffins no donuts
- 3/5
The property was not attractive when I pulled up, There were people sitting on plastic chairs and kids running around. One of the women (perhaps a Mom or a grandmom) was yelling at the kids. The overall look of the front and the back was not appealing and the lawn was unkempt. The hotel could certainly use a fresh coat of paint. There was adequate food for my breakfast on Friday, but NOTHING had been restocked on Saturday. One of my class mates attending the reunion just walked through the food area since nothing looked appetizing. I actually did not finish a quart of milk and put it in the refrigerator so that someone could enjoy it with their cereal. There could have been more cereal with less sugar.
- 2/5
Noisy people
- 1/5
Place is disgusting!
- 2/5

The property was initially hard to find; called this Econolodge for directions. The person answering the phone was from another country and was difficult to understand. I explained where we were (street & intersection) in the same town as the Econolodge and asked for directions. This person said that I should "...go to Wegmann's and ask someone there for directions"! I asked to speak with someone else for some help, and this person said there was no one else there to help. Frustrated, we wasted 15 minutes trying to find the motel. We kept driving & finally found the motel quite by chance. When we got there, the same person I tried to speak with for directions was at the desk with an older man (also with minimal English capabilities)... I showed them our reservation (made online) with all specs. We were assigned a room and were then told that the "...system was down, so they would let us into our room to put our suitcases in, and we would have to get the key later!" This was unacceptable for us, and amazingly within minutes the system came up so that we could get our key card for the room! On top of this nonsense, the room was minimally acceptable (paint coming off the wall around the mirror in the bath sink, a tub floor that was so old and/or used that it looked grimy, the bed appeared to have clean sheets, but the pillows looked "tossed" on the bed, and not arranged neatly. A tile/piece of the wall behind the toilet had come apart from the wall and was laying on the floor, a

In view of the money spent, overall rating is good. This hotel is very close to SUNY Brockport, it’s pretty convenient.

- 1/5
Absolutely not
- 5/5
Although some fixtures were dated, literally every inch of this property is clean, safe and beautifully maintained. This place is well-loved and proudly run. Would stay here any time, and the front staff was excellent.
- 1/5
This stay was terrible. Our room had a softball sized hole in the wall that was stuffed with a hand towel. The air conditioner in the lobby was broken so instead of fixing it, they threw a tiny window unit in it's place which left 2 feet of space on each side, top and bottom, not doing anything for the temperature. Our bathroom exhaust fan didn't work. The pillows were absolutely disgusting and stained, hardly covered with a thin pillow case. The floor was so dirty, our socks were almost black just from walking from the bathroom to the bed. There were 2 tvs in the room with 2 remotes because one turned the tv on and one operated the limited channels when we could actually get it to work. The staircases and railings are completely rusted out. The walls are so thin that you can hear every conversation from the adjacent rooms. "Complimentary breakfast" consisted of hard bagels that looked like they'd been out for a week, a jug of whole milk that everybody got to share, 3 bananas and 2 apples. We received 1 tiny container of each: Shampoo, Conditioner and Lotion. They weren't enough for 1 shower much less the whole weekend. I would never stay here again. We could not wait to get out of there.
- 2/5
Unfortunately I can not recommend this property. The room I received had water damage in the bathroom causing the ceiling the fall down. The shower’s water pressure was very lacking and the water did not seem to get hot. Then when trying to use the hairdryer we discovered it did not even turn on. There is definitely some room for improvement here. Then I was called away 1 night into my 6 night stay having to cut it short and the hotel would only refund me 4 nights which meant I had to pay for 2 nights stay and only use 1. This was the icing on the cake so if you’re looking at this property I recommend moving on to another hotel all together.
- 1/5
AC didn’t work. Toilet wouldn’t flush.
- 2/5
The rooms need a thorough cleaning. I had a cat with me that I paid double the charge for and couldn't even let it out to run the room because it was so dirty! Beds are comfy, sheets and towels clean, water was hot but low water pressure, tv worked, hair dryer didn't work & doors aren't sealed at the bottom letting bugs in. Breakfast was sketchy. Awakened by a domestic fight in middle of the night also. Way overpriced.
- 1/5
This is a very old building, so old that the room door did not shut all the way and had a makeshift chain doorlock, rusty door, a makeshift window air conditioner because installed one didn’t work. Room very unclean, spots of blood on covers. Refrigerator was not working and disgusting and smelled horrible. NEVER AGAIN!
- 2/5
We could hear people outside and the tv in the next room. So it made us feel like everyone could hear us talking. The last major thing was the floor. It felt so disgusting on the feet. I showered shortly after check in, never left the room; and was barefoot the whole time, and my feet were filthy by the morning. There was definitely a layer of grossness on the floor. We will definitely never stay there again.
- 1/5
The property was rundown and the room was filthy. Would never recommend staying there.
- 5/5
It is just fine.
- 4/5
Cheap place in todays world price reflects the room you get. Overall quiet , staff was friendly. Enjoyed, thanks.
- 2/5
Prostitute was turning tricks next door. Every hour on the hour from 11-3 we heard her screams of “passion”. Found bugs in the sink and the room smelled of cigarettes. AC was awesome
- 2/5
You get what you pay for.
- 3/5
Hotel was not great but good. The bath faucet would make this high pitch sound when the shower was running, pretty annoying. Dirt collected in high and hard to reach places and in corners. Gentlemen at front desk was very helpful with check in and an issue with the tv. Kind, Friendly and helpful. The place just needs a few little extra touches and it would be more presentable. Comfortable stay and very close to the college.
- 1/5
Tiny-sty
- 5/5
Nice yard easy for shopping
- 5/5
Check in was excellent. The owner was so accommodating and pleasant. The room was clean and large enough for us to be comfortable for our three-night stay.
- 5/5
Soft beds!!

The Brockport Econo Lodge was chosen by us for the price point when looking at the final cost of our entire itenerary. That was a mistake that will not be made again. Good: Easy to find, not that far from Rochester (if you are used to Houston, TX distances), well lit, updated security system (all cameras working), very close to food, shopping and downtown Brockport. Breakfast was provided and the staff was very friendly. Bad: Basically this is an older motel that has been updated superficially but would need major rehab to be able to compete with the property next door. The room was unsealed so whatever the weather is outside is also inside. Same goes for connected door and thin walls. Sadly, we had neighbors who couldn't live without their TV on and we were able to hear their shows and what they thought of them moment by moment (hotel wasn't responsible for them but something to be aware of). Stains and mildew were present everywhere. Water pressure was extremely low and was confirmed during our neighbors commercial break conversations. We stayed one night and checked out first thing in the morning to pay for a room at the Best Western next to the Rochester Airport which was also 2 stars and an actual HOTEL.
- 2/5
Very depressing place to stay. Microwave doesn’t work. Is very scary looking at night.

needs updating, no frills
- 5/5
I like the service and the room.
- 5/5
had a wonderful time as always

I took one look around and said I couldn’t stay there. I started making arrangements for a new place to stay and my husband went to cancel our reservations. He was offered a different room (which wouldn’t have been hard because there wasn’t anyone else there) but we declined figuring it wasn’t going to be much better than this. My husband was told the manager would have to return our money later when he came in. Went back the next morning and the same desk clerk was there. He said he would give us a new receipt, which he did, with a zero balance - but most of the printing was unreadable because printer needed ink. We were lead to believe everything was taken care of. That was Christmas Day. The next day we checked and found that they had charged our credit card for the full 4 days plus pet fees!! Still trying to get that straightened out. Beware! If you are thinking of staying here, check the room before paying! Surprised Orbitz advertises for this hotel.
