I needed this motel room so that I could go to Chicago for business, but for somewhere to sleep at night and spend part of my morning, this place did the trick. I did not have an issue with my room at all and the staff was willing to answer whatever question I had.

The hotel was really nice. The hotel owner was straightforward and kind. They had good A.C. They also have a cleaning ladies come in every day.

The tub was not clean. If I weren’t exhausted I would have changed rooms. One of the towels had hair still stuck in it. Grateful one of them was clean-looking and that I had plastic bags (to make a glove) and disinfecting wipes so I could use the shower.

Clean, convenient Old and tired, needs work but clean. Good for a one night stay. Bed was on the hard side and the one pillow was flat, lighting very poor but all in all, good.

First of all when renting the hotel and I called the lady and I asked for smoking she said no smoking? You pay $100 deposit and if it smells like smoke, she said I wasn’t gonna get my deposit back a little that she knows. I told her I respect it inside I smoked outside, but AnyWho, the room is too tight very small hard bed couldn’t relax on it to sleep. Hard pillows you sink inside the bed when you sleep the chairs were too hard. Nowhere to hang your clothes and the ladies just was rude so to recommend it to somebody else else’s on them.

booked a room for 2 days for $170 dollars... fkund out my girl had been cheating on me and she calls the front desk to try and get.me kicke out of my room after doing nothing wrong. He ended up kicking us both out and calling the cops after apologizing for her behavior/phone call to him... mknd you ive done nothing wrong didnt argue with her or anything. He had no compassion, empathy or care for a human being. also was only there for 3 hours the first day and would not refubd me fof the next day i paid for... DO NOT GO TO THIS HITEL UNLESS .YOU WANT TO GET KICKEX OUT FOR A DUMB REASON AND YOUR MKNEY TAKEN... Total scammer

I showed up and had paid for The honeymoon suite and upon arrival was informed that I was required to pay a $100 cash deposit of which was nowhere on your site after about 20 minutes of searching, the staff informed me that it was on a different site and then proceeded to not want to refund my money because they said it was through your site and not their problem. So me and my pregnant girlfriend were required to take a smoking room or just be out the money I had paid for the suite was not offered any compensation or money back knowing well that I had paid a lot more for this week than I did for the single king size smoking room onmoney to take a smoking room because of it

This is a basic room stay meaning no breakfast included. I find let the breakfast is often lousy anyway so why pay extra for it.

Convenient and cheap, nothing special

Awesome front desk help. We were helped to use the local bus across the street to get to Midway Airport where we took the train to downtown Chicago. It worked smoothly and perfectly. We will certainly stay here next time we visit Chicago A light at the table would sure be nice.

This place will never be confused with the Hilton, but it isn't advertised as that either. I stayed here because it was walking distance from SeatGeek Stadium. It is a simple motel, but the room was clean and looked to have been updated, as everything looked fairly new and in good condition. Cleaning service comes to the rooms daily, and there are lots of places to eat and stuff in close proximity.

Booked a queen bed, got a full bed instead. Very strict no guest policy; had a couple friends over for 5 - 10 minutes before going out and received a call from the front desk.

The gentleman who checked us in was attentive and kind enough to help us with a error I made in reserving room. We were visiting family and needed a room closer to Midway. My husband said that we have found our new "go to" hotel when in Chicago.

While the rooms are a bit dated, the room was clean the bed's soft and everything was just right for my 2-day stay there. My only criticism would be that the stopper on the bathroom sink did not work.

Had issue with TV but they fixed it after I called they said they would send someone but I had to go to office to remind them. Couldn't get the tub to keep the water in. It might be me not used to the lever but I was too tired to ask. And the layout for the tv, microwave, mini fridge was odd. There was a small shelf over the microwave and a bar to hang clothes but it drapes on the microwave. TV is not in the center of room hard to see from the beds

the bathroom was too small for adults 5'8" & 6'0" (toilet seat was extremely low. Stayed 3 days (ants in the room/frig shelf broken/ bed pillows flat and small) Room worked for that time. No recommended for future

This is an old hotel, but the rooms have been updated. My first room was accidentally booked as a smoking room, which was not very good. I moved to a nonsmoking room, which was fine.

Awesome place to stay and rates definitely affordable. 400 for weekly rate i find to be completely affordable. Staff very attentive knowledgeable about restaurants.

I like the name, too bad I couldn’t relax. The gentleman in the office was super friendly & nice!! It was easy to miss the entrance but there were other ways of entering without it being an extensive re-route. Both of the bed comforters had at least 5-7 burn holes everywhere some huge too, a couple long curly jet black hair made up in the sheets of bed, lipstick stains on pillow cases, weird black stain on sheets of other bed, the shower had purple/black mold looking spots on floor, smelled of urine, huge stains on chair & chair on wheels, located on first floor when I booked for second floor. Slept on top of comforter, son wouldn’t stay in room so he guarded the door. I woke with tons of red bites all over legs and arms.

Had a positive experience at this stay. The rooms were clean, the decor was pleasant, the bathrooms were well kept. The room had no odors, or bad smells. They smelled clean. It was quiet, and calm. Overall, a positive experience. Will return again in the future.

Hint - Try out Mama Luigi's just up the road. Great food and a good bar to have a few drinks and swap stories with the owners.

A clean, cute renovation of an older motel. This was a handy place to spend the night before catching a flight at nearby Midway Airport the next morning.

What I hated is that they charged me 40.00 extra AND charged me like it was 2 people instead of one. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place and the lady behind the reception counter took advantage of that and charged me as much extra on top of everything else that she could. I will NOT be returning to these scam artists for further buisness.

The motel is on easy to get to. An older building well kept. The room had a round bed and nicely decorated. The jacuzzi was great. Would love to see small upgrades in the room, like wall sockets supporting usb plugs. Non smoking room so I had to leave al $100 deposit.

This motel is clean and comfortable but with a few small improvements it could be really wonderful. It needs:. A coffee maker, an iron and ironing board, a 2nd nightstand so each person would have one available, and a more generous amount of shampoo and conditioner provided.

This is my 3rd time staying at the New Relax Inn. Once again the room was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. I had a hard time sleeping because there was an electric heat register that ran under the bed along the wall. It was on all night making the bed extremely warm and uncomfortable to sleep on. There was no way to turn it off.

Good rates for being near Cicero area. Lot's of great choices for dinning!

It's kinda like a Motel 6. The front door was locked, so you have to be buzzed into the Front Desk to check in and out. There is a Plexiglas screen separating the front desk agent from you, so I immediately asked if the neighborhood was safe... She said it was, and we didn't have any safety issues the night we were there. The room is basic. We didn't use the TV or "Micro fridge". The bed was clean. The ceiling had some splotching on it, I didn't investigate further. The toilet sits very low to the ground. If this is the highest ranked "inexpensive" place to stay around here, I'd hate to see what the lower ranked places look like.

You get what you pay for. Clean rooms, hot shower for under 90$ anight.

It was a good stay newly renovated with new carpets and the bathroom tile sink and toilet. It was a a lil small but good for what I needed. It was close to a lot of stores and restaurants which was convenient cause I just walked to a lot of places.

This place surprised me. I was expecting OK, but got WOW! My room was quite large and was very clean. It looked like it had been recently been renovated. The carpet looked like it was new, the beds looked new, the bathroom looked new. I was very pleasantly surprised by this. Along with the friendly staff and a quiet room, my stay here was top notch all the way through. My only criticism would be the bathroom amenities. The shampoo was in a small pouch that you had to tear open which was difficult when I was already in the shower with wet hands. My thanks to everyone at the New Relax Inn for making my stay absolutely wonderful.

The room was super clean new carpet the bathroom had all new tile and was really nice and clean and amazing, a few things I didn't like we showed up after 5:00 p.m. and her check in time was supposed to be two when we had to wait for 10 minutes for them to finish cleaning the rooms we could check in, when we got in the room there was mirrors on the ceiling and flashing lights that turned on I don't know if this used to be some kind of a sex motel or but it was kind of a little weird then they had a pamphlet on the dresser for advertising their triple x movies so that was a little strange I guess if you had a family wouldn't want to bring them in that room

The hotel was nice. The people were great. Room clean. The only thing I didn’t like is they shut off the heat because it’s summer but it was raining and I got cold at night but the did provide a portable heater at my request. I would stay again my next trip to Chicago

Right next to a restaurant with people leaving late and making noise. The units are set up with people arriving to their units via driving within feet of each unit.

I dont like the tv channel none of the music channels work but the rooms look like the picture just need to update the decor in the room would be everything they are nice and they have best tacos next door

I wanted a place to lay my head for a few hours before my flight. However the room was old and outdated and the heat constantly running made it unbearably hot and impossible to sleep. It definitely needs some updating and fix the heat so a guest can control it.

Conveniently located for my purposes. Staff was friendly and helpful. Did not care for mirror over the bed, no counter space in bathroom, musty smell, paper thin towels, and outside noise.

The headboard and walls were lined with mirrors. I could select XXX movies or regular TV. There was constant activity outside--horns honking, people swearing, traffic. Someone knocked on my door. In the morning, there were empty beer bottles and a pair of cutoff shorts on the ledge. It was a frightening experience.
