Staff was nice, the bedroom floors were sticky all over... as if the mop cleaner solution was bad. The box spring was broken at the foot end and made a lot a noise if you move in bed. The smell in the halfway was bad, smelled like bad food and smoke. There was a dog across the halfway that was barking loud at 2am. I could hear all the steps upstairs above me. The kitchen was very nice though! It'd be good for a long staying.

No! If you think it’s a bargain, it’s not. The odors just getting to the room at varied and numerous. No ice machine. The only clean things were the refrigerator and the toilet. Drooping, mismatched curtains covered the split-level window. The security door to the parking lot would not close.

Not the cleanest overall, could have had some vacuuming done in the hallways and stairs. Room not bad overall but had no toilet paper in the room and had to go request it from the front desk.

I was so disappointed with this place that I don't even have the energy to write it all, let alone know where to begin. I would never stay here again. I regret not having read reviews prior to booking. This is a place you stay at if you have no other options.

It smelled horrible walking in. I viewed 3 rooms, all had hair in the bed & on the pillows accompanied by burn stains, curtains broken, windows not secure/broken, paint on covers, toilet running & “don’t care attitude” staff.

This place smelled of cigarette smoke. Walking to my room, I smelled fresh cigarette smoke. I also noticed a man that was obviously high on some sort of drug in the hallway. It was a disgusting, scary place.

The hotel lobby smells of cigarettes smoke. The hallways smelled of cigarettes smoke. My room smelled of cigarettes. I could not stay in this hotel. Had to find another one at 940 PM on Saturday night. I told the front desk girl the issue and she said I could not have any refund or partial refund. Property was very out dated. When I walked into the room the first words out of my mouth was “they have good marketing… this place is outdated as crap and if I knew it was like this I would of booked at Laquita instead” (booking.com makes this place look decent). On the plus side, no bed bugs which is my BIGGEST concern with booking hotels. They say the third floor is renovated but it still has cabinets and furniture that looks like they are from the 90s.
- 2/5
Fridge didnt work well. Had to push the door hard to get it to close. Stove burners bad something on them and there were no pots, pans, plates, or anything. Also no toiletries which the ad said it would have.

Nothing Everything! Beds were uncomfortable. Pillows were paper thin and you only had 1 each. Toilet chain broke and no one fixed it. The anir conditioning unit sounded like I was going to blow up. It was hot and I felt uncomfortable leaving the windows open because we were on the lower level and we had our son with us. Eventually the ac unit stopped working completely. Nothing happens with that. They don’t have a cleaning service to turn your room for you. So you have to do their job and bring your towels down to them to exchange for new ones if they even have any available. If they don’t you have to wash them yourself. Unfortunately we stayed there for 8 nights. We had no choice I had already payed and had have money to get another place. Never again! Run far away!!!!!!!
- 5/5
The was a clean room, friendly staff, and great, safe location (in an area with office parks and multi-million dollar homes and estates. The room was comfortable. There was a rowdy group upstairs at midnight, but a call to the front desk took care of that within 15 minutes. Very happy and we're going to be back next weekend. I can recommend 223. It's at the end of the hall and is HUGE.
- 5/5
Clean room. friendly staff.
- 5/5
Very nice , and respectful
- 2/5
Let me just start by saying the pictures in no way are accurate to the room and hotel condition. There is no tissues, cups, or ice bucket supplied. No ice machine on property. No hair dryer. The only toiletry item suppled was a single small bar of soap! The cabinet had someone's food left in it. Only one vending machine and it took our money the first time. I was told "sorry we don't own the machine" when I asked for a refund. We could smell cigarette smoke in the entire hotel. There was a gaping hole behind the shower head. Only 2 small pillows on the bed. We had to use a flashlight in the bathroom because the bulb was so dim. Not to mention the price for this awful stay was $186. I can honestly say in 30 years of traveling, this was my worst experience ever.

Property is older and they have painted, there is so paint on the floors in the hallways. I relocated recently and had to stay for over 2 weeks before signing on my home. I never felt unsafe at all. Staff was very helpful with all of my needs. If you are looking for something fancy this will not be a fit for you. Clean room, very safe
- 5/5
Clean and quiet
- 3/5
I like that they have real ovens and refrigerators. I don’t like the fact that they are ran down and dirty
- 5/5
Great stay, very clean, and really nice staff. Rooms are more than adequate in size and the price is even better. Thumbs up
- 1/5
I was very disappointed in this room. It was dirty and old. The kitchen had no cups or utensils. I will not return.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 1/5
Hallways were dirty, no machine, paint speckles all over the floor, thought it was dirty. 1 pillow, to get the cable on the tv was a joke. Says smoke free smelled like pot
- 3/5
It was just your normal hotel. Nothing fancy. Bed was ok, not enough pillows ( 2) for 2 adults. Room kinda smell musky. Ok for a couple night stay
- 1/5
I booked the hotels under false pretense that
- 2/5
The biggest issue we had however was that while we were out, the hotel was painting the hallway and, without notifying us, opened our door to paint it, and then left the door wide open and no one watching it so just anyone could have accessed our room, and we only found out because we came back to find it that way. When I brought it up to the front desk, I only received a vague non-apology. She asked when it happened because her shift had just started so she didn’t know about it, and agreed with my comment that it was unacceptable, but offered no actual apology or anything because it “wasn’t her fault”.
- 2/5
There was no trash can anywhere in the room, but in the bathroom. There was no complementary soaps of any kind. They put us in a room that they had just painted the door on but did not let it fully dry and it almost got us stuck in the room when we couldnt open it this morning. There was a shower head in the bathroom, but no way to use it. The toilet seat was falling off the toilet at the slightest movement. Useless you travel with your own pots and pans and the like the kitchen in the room is completely useless. They said the bed was a king, but it looked more like a full. There were only two pillows on the bed and they did not have extras, so we ended up having to go buy some. The whole hotel smelled of mold and weed. The hallway leading to our room looked as if it had not been vacuumed in days. Definitely not worth the price we paid for it and definitely would not and will not be recommending it to anyone.
- 1/5
Nothing would not stay there ever again
- 2/5
No coffee available in room or lobby.
- 1/5
This place overall was discussing. Krista Belin
- 1/5
Good ole trip back to the 70s. Room smelled like smoke. Ask to change rooms was told no because we checked the bed for bed bugs, rightfully so. Duct tape cover the top of a broken window in the room.
- 5/5
This hotel seemed like it was doing renovations. The floors in the hall were dirty and there were piles of painting and repair supplies in front of several doors down the hall. However, my room was clean and seemed freshly painted. Sheets and towels were clean. Small kitchenette was very nice. However, you need to bring pots & dishes to use it. Bring your own coffee pot if you like coffee (or microwave some instant). If you want ice in the morning, fill your ice tray. I could hear walking upstairs, but otherwise, I really liked the room at this price. Staff was very nice. The area seemed really safe and lots of eating & shopping nearby. 15 min drive up I65 to nashville. I definitely recommend if you want a clean room at cheap price.

The room was clean, but the rest of the facility was not so good. The hallway floors were full of dirt and trash.
- 3/5
The room was comfortable, clean and quiet, which was all I required. Beyond that, it was dated and pretty bare bones - no ice machine, no coffee, just the basics. It did have a full refrigerator, stove, and microwave, so if I'd brought things to cook with and a coffee maker, it would have been more convenient for a longer stay, but I was there for only two nights and don't normally travel with pots and pans.
- 1/5
Nothing!!!
- 1/5
Omg. Don’t do it. The hallways are a filthy eyesore, smelly and littered with buckets and other misc items and junk bc they are “renovating.” Paint stains all over the carpet. My toiled clogged multiple times. The room absolutely reeked of paint. No room service and you need to take your own trash out. So so bad. But you get what you pay for I guess. The room itself wasn’t that bad but I’m questioning if there’s bed bugs just bc the rest of the motel was such a dump.
- 1/5
The sofa bed sheets were soiled. They literally had bodily fluid stained on them.
- 1/5
This place stunk so bad. It was like it used to be a smoking room a year ago and then they’ve been trying to cover it up with some kind of spray. No coffee maker no ice. Only one bar of soap and that’s it in the bathroom. I strongly do not recommend this place.
- 3/5
Under construction so some stuff didn’t work. Key cards for example had a kind of their own. Otherwise it was a decent stay for the money.
- 1/5
.
- 1/5
After we saw the room we returned to front desk and turned our keys back in. We did not stay there . Save your money on this one.
- 2/5
Room smelled musty. Unfinished shower showing plaster. TV didn't work. Had to get the desk guy to make it work
- 5/5
So nice
- 5/5
Toilet didn’t work. But everything else was great.
- 3/5
If you want a basic clean, quiet room to stay, this does the job. Convenient location to US 65. Note that no soap, shampoo, cups, etc. are provided. The freezer did have 2 empty ice trays. TV required operating 2 different remotes that required help from the front desk.
- 4/5
Dated property but clean nice stay for the price convenient off of the highway many food options safe area
- 3/5
While checking into my room, I opened the bathroom door and water from the ceiling fell all over me. I requested a refund, but the clerk told me he couldn’t, due to the fact that I booked my room through a third party. The front desk clerk was polite and moved me to another room.
- 1/5
Confusing listing that was misleading. Pictures made the location loom better than it actually was. The lack of accessibility was listed but not clearly stated. Thdre was confusion on booking the actual room. I booked for two beds and got two rooms with a total of 4 beds instead.
- 3/5
On the good side: This place is cheap and convenient. They have a low pet fee and no size restrictions, and they have good space for letting your dog exercise on a long lead. The room was large, and I love having a full kitchen. On the bad side: the bathroom sink actually pulled off the wall (!!!), I couldn't figure out how to make the shower work, and the locks for the external doors never wanted to accept my key cards. Oh, and I actually got propositioned in the hallway! So don't expect 5-star accommodations. Know what you're looking for!
- 5/5
Pleasant
- 4/5
I was grateful for the kitchen set-up. I needed to bake a few things during my travels and having a stove and oven in the room was GRAND. The linens were clean and neatly dresses on the bed. There was a good amount of lighting as well as a window that I could open for fresh air. Nice space, for the cost!
- 3/5
WiFi was almost completely unusable, would work for like 5 minutes then completely stop. Made staying at a place to be able to work at on the road pointless.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
We had a great stay. Room was clean when we weren't expecting it. If it wasn't for the stove being broken, it would have been all I could have asked. Thanks for jumping in action so I could cook!
- 3/5
Overall everyone I was in contact with was nice. The place is very outdated an house keeping doesnt come to empty your garbage. I was told I would be responsible for that. The place has a veey bad amell to the point it gave me a headache. All of our clothes smells awful becauae tge bed smells old. I wouldn't recommend staying more than 1 night. I also left a night early ans the guy says his systems won't allow him to check me out.I had ro trust that they wpuld chexk me out. No I wouldn't return, but besides the horrible smell it wasn't that bad.
- 3/5
The staff was friendly and tried their best to assist when we couldn't get the TV to work. However we wouldn't get it to work. While the description on Expedia said there was some kind of breakfast provided this was not true. We were directed instead to a vending machine. While the hotel is for extended stays and there was a full kitchen, there are no amenities in the rooms, such as dishes, cups, cutlery or cooking pans. It appears that the hotel is undergoing an upgrade so hopefully it will provide a more pleasant stay once complete.
- 3/5
It is a that people actually live in so don’t recommend to anyone who is not homeless no maid no breakfast no fitness tv didn’t work would stay again and I did see one roach in the bathroom the bed had not been pulled out or cleaned behind
- 1/5
The property has a lot of ants and other insects in the rooms. You have to take the trash out yourself, all the way to the corner of the parking lot. Room cleaning is only done once every 14 days! The air circulation is terrible in both the hallways and the rooms, which always feel stuffy. There are three floors but no elevators—good luck carrying your bags up the stairs.
- 1/5
Would not recommend this place
- 5/5
Front Desk was super nice and polite
- 3/5
Room was as expected for price-beds comfortable and room clean. Seemed pretty sketchy that they made photocopies of both sides of drivers license for both of us. Asked what they did with that after checkout and he said “stays with your file”. What??? If I had not already paid completely when booking would have run right out. We took a first floor unit which was actually half underground. Checked to make sure sliding window (at ground level outside) was locked before we went out—lock was broken. Also even with window closed there was a gap that could have let insects in. They did promptly help -I said if they could just place a piece of wood to keep window from opening that would work. They placed a crow-bar which was about 6 inches too short - I guess window could have been opened but not wide enough for person to fit. Other than that, no bad smells and seemed clean. Never experienced anything quite like this at a hotel
- 3/5
No elevator, but stairs to 3rd floor are easily accessible. To know: while the room has a frig and stove, you have to ask for pots and pans, there are no sponges or paper towels.. Not even a sink stopper. We had planned to fully cook during our stay, so it did not quite meet our expectations, but the room is large enough, everything seems quite nice, a/c worked well. Would stay again, but would be more prepared.
- 1/5
What a dump. I’ve stayed at a lot of places in my life and this hole takes the cake. It smells. It is depressing. Don’t stay here if you value your experience in any way. If you’re homeless, it’s still better to sleep outside.
- 4/5
The guy working the front desk was very nice and informative. My only complaint was the bed was not comfortable. Felt like we were sleeping on coils. And there was a mild smell kind of like cigarette smoke. The shower was great though and the room was clean.
- 3/5
It’s a 2 star. But it is safe and quiet..
- 5/5
Nice property for low price. Everything is kept very clean and made easy.
- 4/5
Very good
- 3/5
The hotel was nice. Staff were nice. Our room was clean. Definitely recommend for people looking for a short affordable stay.
- 1/5
Long time to wait for check in. Shower was not working. The whole house is not in good condition. The employees were friendly but nevertheless we wouldn't come again.
- 5/5
good
- 3/5
The place is old, but it’s clean and the bed was very comfortable. You can’t do anything about it, but the stairs in the entry or something I could do without. I was alone and had a lot of luggage. He directed me to the back door where I didn’t have to use stairs. As I write this, I have decided to stay another night. I slept well and was very comfortable.
- 5/5
The overall stay was great. Rooms were clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Only issue I have was right outside the main entrance smelled like cat urine.
- 2/5
It smelled, old needed updated
- 1/5
Immediately checked out within 10 minutes. Strong chemical smell used in rooms and musty odors. Rooms are not clean and is not safe especially if you have children.
- 4/5
My go to place to stay near Nashville.
- 1/5
You could not take a bath in our room & could not get the shower to work! The phone was not working. No staff after 11 pm til 7 am? I have never stayed at a hotel, motel where there were no staff at night! What if I needed an extra towel? Or there was a fire? Take them off your site!!
- 4/5
This is an older property, so it's a bit dated. It had a full size fridge, and a four burner stove. The room was small but functional. I only stayed one night but I could see staying longer.
- 5/5
Great stay. Recommend!
- 5/5
Love it
- 5/5
This is a wonderful place to stay. It's always clean and up to date. It's in a safe area and it is very convenient to get to stores and restaurants. This is where we always stay when we make our medical trips to Vanderbilt if they have a room available.
- 5/5
Loved how quiet it was
- 4/5
nothing but stairs and stairs load old hotel they just put lipstick on pig cosmetic wise below average
- 5/5
Everything was fine except the people on the reception they acted like we going to stay there for free
- 2/5
The room had a bad musty smell to it. The bathroom looked clean but there were a few dirty rags hanging from the shower pole. The smell was so bad that we wpmt be going back to this hotel
- 3/5
Decent hotel. Not dirty per se, but lots of hairs in the room and bathroom that were not mine, so not super clean either. Walls are paper thin, can hear conversation from neighboring rooms at all times of day and night. Had to sleep with noise canceling headphones bc my room neighbors were drunk af and loud until almost 4a. I wouldn't stay there again and I took no pleasure in being in the room, but it worked for a cheap overnight stay. Gentleman who checked me in was nice and helpful.
- 2/5
Did not like the hotel
- 3/5
Didn't like the continuous smell in the room.

- 3/5
We felt not safe...
- 2/5
Blood on sheets, nasty stains on walls. Staff was kind, but also gave us the keys to the wrong rooms. Would not stay again.
- 1/5
We did not stay the night as we had planned. Our room was disgusting. Bugs, stains, dirt… you name it we had it. At least I’ll be getting a refund.
- 5/5
Location was perfect
- 5/5
The property was nice and clean. It’s in a remote area and it’s safe. The property is large and walkable. Nice smoking area and very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and approachable. I’d recommend trying this one out. Not bad on the price either!!!
- 1/5
I ended up checking out early due to how nasty the room was....Not only was the room terrible cleaned but the couch that they give u as a extra laying or sitting space had mold growing on it.... When I said something about it they tried to change rooms and that couch plus 1 they tried to bring in my room had mold on it to.... It was clear they don't check everything nor clean or wipe down there furniture after people leave.... I was highly disappointed....
- 5/5
Great
- 1/5
The room did not have a remote control for the TV so I had to go to the front desk again to get one. The clerk was rude and said it's probably in the drawer did you look for it? I told home yes I did look in every drawer in the place so he huffed then asked me when I checked in I told him 2 hours ago. He finally grabbed 2 remotes from a drawer in the office the came to the room with me. He proceeded to look behind the cabinet and confirmed that it was not there then asked me when I was checking out. Why did he ask me that I have no idea. I was very polite and my name is not Karen. The room smaller like smoke and there was a spider on the bed. We stayed because we were exhausted and it was close to the airport but never again.
- 5/5
Nice, clean, and a great value, will return!
- 2/5
The woman who checks us out was polite.
- 2/5
Rooms were dirty and bed had a stain on the sheets
- 2/5
Also, a big part in my decision to pick that hotel is that they advertise a free breakfast. Expedia offered me the room with free breakfast or a refundable room with no breakfast. I chose the room with meal. I had to change the date from 6/19 to 6/18 and was charged $12. for the change and still no breakfast. I was going to let it go and not reported it, but the bites convinced me to inform Expedia.
- 1/5
100% a social services motel. ** guest verified that when checking in at the desk. People showing up with a filled garbage bag. Smoke filled the hallways, people screaming day and night, randoms banging on the door in the middle of the night and one uneasy feeling of you are going to get robbed. Hotels.com should vet these places before even adding them to their website. Staff was rude and shady as well. Spend a few bucks more to stay somewhere else where you can be safe and have peace of mind.
- 3/5
Not so good. We were glad it was only one night. Everything is old. The tub/shower and sink looked like they tried to make it ugly as possible.
- 5/5
It is nice
- 3/5
It’s overall quiet . No one bothers you. I haven’t seen any bugs . For the most part the staff are friendly and accommodating . I get aggravated having to constantly get my key reactivated . I can stay a week get a key and by that night it’s not working . Get it fixed by the next night it’s stopped working again. Two of the 4 dryers have been out of order for awhile now. The grab and go breakfast they advertise no longer exist . The coffee at 6 am this past week has barely been warm . They are undergoing a name change and the prices seem to be going up with lesss and less available .
- 5/5
Property was perfect for our one night stay. Located in a great area with lots of restaurants nearby.
- 2/5
Change your description in Expedia. You provide a kitchen with no plates, cups, silverware and a bathroom with no blow dryer.
- 3/5
Nice stay. No smoking hotel but the hotel hallways smell if horrible smoking. However no smell in the rooms.
- 1/5
I couldn't check in because no one was manning the front desk
- 5/5
It ok
- 5/5
Good price, nice to have a full refrigerator and kitchen. Clean and friendly staff.
- 3/5
We came here from out of state. My child had outpatient surgery at Vanderbilt, and I booked this room for us to rest before the long trip home. I tried to check in at around 1pm. I hadn't pre-arranged early check in, so nothing was available. My fault! Staff was very nice. The hallway smelled like cigarettes. I was afraid the room would smell the same. We were sweetly surprised by the generous size of the room, as well as the decor. Everything was clean and neat as could be. The A/C was great and the beds were very comfortable. The advertised grab-and-go breakfast was ridiculous though. There was a coffee/tea setup, a box of granola bars, and some packets of instant oatmeal. That was a really poor offering LOL. But, we'd payed for a stay with breakfast, so we took two granola bars and a cup of pretty ok hot tea. Would recommend this place. I slept like a rock!
