I stayed there with my kids, once I arrived the front disk told me he already checked me in and my room key was ready before I was presented physically, he was new and he was wearing ear plugs all the time talking to the manager and ignoring me, he was very rude to me when I speak to him and he told the manager on the phone this lady standing in front of me doesn’t want to shut up and leave, I told him that’s shocking how hotel front disk can treat customers like this also he mentioned that I have accent when I speak fluent English, I felt bad because my kids told me mommy how can he say shut up to you. The next day when I want to complain to the manager she wasn’t there so I left her a message with another front disk and when I came back the front disk told me that the manager said that she was with him on the phone and she heard everything, that shocked me more how as a manager accept such behavior with hotel customer. Add to all of this before I leave my room I washed my hands at the bathroom and took my branded gold diamond ring off next to the soap place and forgot it, when I checked out and went to the car I remembered so I came back and requested another same room key when I went to the room I found the house keeper was in the room and already took everything at the bathroom I asked her if she saw my ring she said to check the garage but nothing was there, what surprised me it was less than 10 minutes between I checked out and came back The hotel did nothing about it.

The staff were nice. Nothing the pool was nasty (green) !! The bathroom door was broken, the sink leaked, the floors were nasty, they have ROACHES and the stove didn’t work properly. Never ever stay unless you want Roaches!!!!!!!!!!

Not the cleanest place. Cabinets and kitchen area could have used some help. No pots or pans in the rooms with kitchen. Shower had some body hairs in it. Woke up with some minor bites, and cannot say for sure bed bugs, but wouldn't be surprised if that is what it was

a great stay!

I recently relocated from out of state and stayed here with my 2 boys while we were searching for a place to live. It offered everything we needed & provided enough beds where we didn’t have to sleep together. Great location and staff!
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my week at Mainstay! The staff was friendly and my room was very clean!
- 4/5
Having stayed at many budget hotels in Brentwood, I recommend this one the most for your lodging needs, for old Hickory and 65.
- 4/5
The kitchen had some very old minimal utensils and dinner wear. And a tiny skillet. The room had an odor to it. It is very old and dingy. The pool is under maintenance. The hair dryer did not work. The staff are incredible! Can’t say enough good things. But the hotel needs a remodel. However, you can’t beat the price.

Never in my life have I come back home day 1 of 4 to a hotel & found all of my stuff gone. The cleaning staff cleaned my room & threw it all away. All my food, all my items, everything in the bathroom. Well over $1,000+ worth of stuff & they have done nothing to help me, wont reimburse me.... absolute nightmare considering & cant just go re-buy all that stuff. I travel every 3-4 days for work so i'm constantly jumping around. Huge huge issue & a big slap in the face. Horrible service
- 4/5
Facility was clean and most everything functioned as it should. There were obvious needs for updates like chipped finish in bathtub, cupboards that were sagging and had boards added to support the microwave and dresser drawers that kept falling open.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Staff & room space is nice but the building is outdated good for the price but the bathroom needs deep cleaning. Guy at front desk was super nice!
- 1/5
It was disgusting. We didn't stay.
- 2/5
It was very dirty
- 2/5
We arrived to a pleasant and updated building exterior. Then it went downhill! From a building entrance door that was broken, to damaged furnishings, a refrigerator that sounded horrible (compressor), pet smells covered up with deodorizers, to dirty unopened pool and people up all night long making noise. It seems that people that stay long term have the upper hand. The breakfast was the only positive.

The top of the shower is low. The room is small and very outdated. The hair dryer unit was not connected to the wall.
- 2/5
Old, smelled like greasy fried food. Doors at entrance did not open automatically which made it difficult to use the little luggage racks. Tall racks would improve moving luggage.
- 3/5
The blanket was basically a sheet and the toilet seat was “peeling” or “cracking”.

You cannot beat this kind of price for a full suite.

This place has the potential to be a gem but the lack of attention given to the building is giving slum lord. Great location but thats about it. No breakfast after being advertised. Old and out dated. Sheets on the bed was old and had seen better and brighter days. Bathroom looked to have mold but upon a closer look paint was worn and old. Mold was coming out the AC/heat unit vents so inspect if you book here. Its as if the owners have given up on the property. I would not recommend.

Do not go to this hotel. I checked in and went to the room. The TV did not work and I reported it to the desk clerk. It took her 20 minutes to find another room for me. After I had been in the new room for about 10 minutes, another person walked into the room. Evidently, this person had been assigned the room and had gone out for supper or something. They went down to the front desk to report the matter. Then, the TV in the new room stopped working. I decided to leave. The desk clerk was very unhelpful and acted like it was my fault that someone else had been given a key to my room. I expected better. Do not go to this hotel.
- 3.5/5
It had a bad smell in the room. I had to get an air freshener. I bathroom ceiling was very molded.

The room smelled like dirty feet. We do not think the sheets were clean. There was hair on one bed and the other bed the sheets smelled. Was going to open window for fresh air and the screen was hanging off the window, had to try to fix screen back in place. Terrible place Never stay or go there again.
- 3/5
The property is ran down and smells old. The walls are thin. We heard the people above our room constantly walking around (inconvenient at 7am). The bathroom was molded on the ceiling and the non working exhaust fan was covered in rust. It was also uncommon and inconvenient that the staff wanted IDs for each person staying in the room.

We appreciated having a kitchenette. The room was spacious. Convenient location for shopping and eating. The mattress was old and not the most comfortable.
- 3/5
They didnt provide breakfast, rooms smelled like pot, guests around us were loud

Not being able to get refund for a night I did not use…
- 5/5
The room was very clean and spacious with parking very close to the door. Front desk was very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Good overall experience
- 3/5
It was spacious, convenient, warm and dry. I was so happy to have heat after the ice storm knocked out our power. I am grateful they had availability. I woke up in the middle of the night to what sounded like an MRI. It was a loud consistent banging noise. I’m 50%deaf in both ears so that is how loud this was to wake me up from a sound sleep. It was the fridge. I was going to unplug it but worried about defrosting it and making a mess. It was 12:30am and no other rooms available
- 5/5
The staff was responsive and accommodating. We traveled during a significant power outage and the hotel was very full and the staff managed it very well. As long as you manage your expectations considering the type of hotel, everything is as expected. This isn't a luxury property but it's definitely above par for it's peer property types.
- 4/5
Room was clean, staff very nice
- 5/5
Out of regular coffee packets during our entire three day stay
- 2/5
This was our third year staying for Christmas to visit family and it will be our last. Facility is aging and not gracefully. Water pressure very low, no blow dryer. Parking was convenient and staff was as friendly as they could be having to work on Christmas. This hotel is desperate for renovation.
- 5/5
The motel was clean and quiet. The parking was very easy and available and the staff I interacted with were all very polite and helpful.
- 5/5
It was great
- 4/5
Roll In shower was perfect for my husband. Room very clean, bed comfortable.
- 4/5
Good room, the usual wear and tear of an older kitchenette. Accommodating staff, very helpful!
- 4/5
Great staff, very friendly and helpful. They had a little trouble with the reservation but got it sorted and were very sincere and honest. Laundry is quarters only and no atm on site to get cash to exchange but otherwise great for extended stay!
- 4/5
The only thing that wasn't right which really wasn't a big deal, I would say was the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work. other than that I have nothing negative to say about our stay at this location.
- 3/5
It was not as comfort as other. I feel itchy sleeping on bed
- 3/5
Ok
- 2/5
Suspicious stains all over the couch and pullout bed. Elevator is dying. Was not working at all when we checked in. Was working by the time we went to dinner. General dingy appearance all around.
- 3/5
Staff was nice, but the place is really run down.
- 3/5
Bad smell in the hallways and room
- 3/5
Just used refrigerator. Worked great. Kim very nice front desk clerk.parking was nicely lit up. The only negative was the curtains have gaps on sides causing light to beam straight in your face to your bed.
- 2/5
The reason I gave this hotel a bad rating is because I booked and paid for a room with 2 double beds and a let-out couch, but when I got there they said those rooms were already taken and only the 1 bed and let out couch was available. I basically begged and pleaded but they said since I booked through Expedia they were not responsible for holding that type of room, they could give me only what they had available. I was very disappointed. Also the website showed they had breakfast in the morning but the front desk person said they have only coffee; therefore, everything about this hotel was deceiving.
- 2/5
When we walked into our room the first time , the windows were open with bent screens! The exhaust fan above the stove was on full blast. The beds were ok and the tv worked great. The kitchen was a plus. The staff was nice. I would not stay here again, because I paid less for better places and the noise was ridiculous!
- 4/5
Room was ready on time. Parking was well lit.
- 1/5
One of the worst hotels I ever stayed in. when I entered my room, the windows were open and had a foul smell. I called the front desk to ask for a different room and the front desk guy said hotel is totally booked. Rooms were not clean.
- 2/5
The outside of the places and lobby area was okay, going into the room the moment we walked in bad smell I guess that’s why all the windows in the building was open bugs was on the floor, bathroom was filthy it even had human feces on the toilet, like somebody had been staying there before we got there, the room was terrible overall and was not comfortable to leave and thing around, I will never stay at a place like this again.
- 2/5
Room smelled like animal and had no sheets on pull out bed or any extra blanket has to go to front desk to get one and it was only one blanket
- 1/5
Disgusting, no toilet paper, 1 towel, and TV didn't work
- 3/5
Very quiet and nice area, rooms where nice as well

- 5/5
This is a very nice hotel for the price. It was very quiet and the staff were very helpful.
- 5/5
Great location. Well maintained. Close to nice restaurants.
- 5/5
Perfect!!!! Everything perfect I would not change anything. My stay was comfy, just like home, sweet customer service, in the safest spot, overall clean, my new favorite when coming to Nashville! This was the perfect stay for solo travel thank you so much for making my trip that much better!
- 2/5
According to a second person, they've told you this over 100 times. I'd like a refund. Too much light entered the room from outside. I couldn't block it.
- 2.5/5
Location Broken door of unit, old TV and water faucet in bathroom sink, Shower was difficult to use.
- 5/5
This is usually one of my favorite places to stay whether I book or my colleague books to work in the area, but this time there were some changes that took place that a little bit of work on communication can fix. Just within a couple of weeks time of my last booking there is now a hold fee of $25 outside of Expedia's costs upon arrival which I called prior to making my reservation and to inquire about early check in, and was misinformed. It seems to be some renovations going on in the lobby near front desk. But, the staff there is excellent, they're understanding, very helpful, and accommodating. That's why they still get 5 stars from me. They don't serve breakfast, but rooms have glasses, plates, bowls, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a half stove burner for cooking. It's set up like a mini apartment and I love it.
- 2/5
Needs updating
- 5/5
Felt himey and safe
- 3/5
Was not the worst place I’ve stayed but was not the best. Like its very convenient location and does not require a deposit for accidentals. Price was reasonable. However I felt like I was walking in a retirement home because this hotel is sooo outdated. My room smelled like mothballs. Bugs got in because the windows were open. Wouldn’t stay again. It’s more updated hotels I’m the area. I’m beginning to think that hotels rent out the worser room if you are using a discounted site.
- 2/5
Rooms need a major renovation. The halls are over-perfumed to cover up who knows what. Fortunately The bed was comfortable and appeared clean. Location is good and within walking distance of some nice restaurants.
- 5/5
The front desk staff was awesome. They made sure to confirm our room choice. There were plenty of places to dine at, order fast food from, or at least 3 grocery stores within walking distance if wanted to cook. It's priced fairly. The only thing that could have made this even better is if the pool was open on such hot days. This place has been added to my favorites on my booking site.
- 5/5
Staff is incredibly kind and helpful. A very pleasant experience
- 5/5
Seems to be well kept and nice outdoor appearance.
- 3.5/5
They are beating on your door at 1030 telling you need to go to office and pay or check out part time I checked the correct check out time is 11 am
- 5/5
The staff was very pleasant and friendly. The quietness was top tier!
- 4/5
Great value for the area

Mitch, The General Manager treats everyone like a piece of gum under his shoe and doesn’t respect any guests in the hotel. He’s rude and doesn’t work with people on their long extended stays at the hotel. Me and several co-workers are staying there but we’re all leaving this weekend because of him.
- 0.5/5
Handicap room was to far away from the entrance.

Room in desperate need of a complete clean, floors, walls and doors
- 5/5
Great staff at front desk. Room was very clean. Nice amenities. Good coffee and snacks at desk. Great price for 3 days. Would recommend to anyone. No bugs either
- 2/5
It was dirty. I bought cleaning supplies to clean my bathroom prior to use.
- 1/5
Poor
- 4/5
Great place to stay for a night or a week
- 3/5
Suites are small . Coffee bar but doesn’t provide coffee or breakfast. Tubs and bathrooms are extremely small and slow drip sinks/ drains
- 5/5
The outside of the hotel was excellent. But inside need a little work. Like faucets and rusted vents needed to be changed out.
- 2/5
I regretfully am compelled to share that this is the worst suite-style hotel I've ever stayed at. I am well-traveled and wouldn't consider myself a nitpicky person. However, there were too many things wrong with my experience here for me to excuse as one-off issues. From the moment we entered the room, it was clear that everything was appallingly dirty. The toilet seat had actual dried human waste on it. All the counter surfaces were crusty and greasy. The room smelled strongly of mildew and the windows would not open more than 3 inches. The dishwasher was filled with unwashed dishes and the ones still in the cabinets were covered in grease and dried food. The couch had innumerable white stains. When I checked the bed sheets, it was clear that the fitted sheet was unwashed and had simply been flipped inside out. They also do not provide dish soap or sponge. I went out immediately to purchase those along with bleach to clean the bathroom and kitchenette. Lastly, while I appreciate that the parking lot was well lit, there were no blackout curtains in the room, and the gap between the window and the curtain was about 5 inches. The light beamed in from the gaps like broad daylight impacting my ability to sleep. I did share this feedback with the front-desk staff, and they stated they were well aware of the issues, had planned renovations, and would speak to the cleaning staff.
- 4/5
It’s was great stay we are sad that the pool was closed the whole time we was there
- 5/5
Very quick and easy check in and out. The property was very clean...always smelled fresh and saw staff cleaning lobby, hallway, and all areas. The room was very spacious. It had a whole kitchen I didn't realize when booking! The pool was small and closed early (9pm), but that's not the reason we were there, so that didn't really concern us.
- 5/5
Property was clean, quiet and comfortable. The elevator did get stuck , but other than that everything was wonderful! Will definitely be back.
- 5/5
It was a nice, quiet stay, it is a suite room with a kitchen, fridge, micro, couch that pulls out to a bed - decor somewhat dayed & aged..... But the bed was incredibly comfortable! I slept so well here!
- 4/5
Your room was nice with a stove and refrigerator and sink. Some of the furniture and all is a little worn little patches on the wall but that's no big deal. Shower was hot the room was clean. However they still advertise breakfast but they are not doing it that was the biggest disappointment. And the pool was a little dirty
- 1/5
It was terrible. Everything was filthy. Sticky. Dirty dishes. Stuck on food on microwave plate. Had to have staff come in and re-clean the bathroom. Ice maker didn’t work. And they announce your room # to everyone in lobby. The lobby smelled of cleaning products every time you walked in and in the guest rooms. Yet rooms weren’t clean.
- 2/5
Needs repairs
- 4/5
Elevator made moving our cooler easy. Large refrigerator was helpful. Maybe missing a few bowls and utensils in suite. Missing outlet cover and same outlet was loose (by couch). Otherwise, liked property and location a lot. Most comfortable bedding of our vacation.
- 3/5
Not very clean
- 4/5
We have been to this hotel 3 times we love it wish the pool was open but it wasnt kids was a little disappointed other than that we love staying here if they had complimentary breakfast i would give 5 stars
- 1/5
This all should of been handled at checkout. So, at 8am Sunday when I went to check out we were greeted by the same lovely lady who checked us in. She told us that Mr. Smart was a temporary fill in. This should of never happened!
- 2/5
The whole place reeked of MJ and completely didn’t meet my expectations. I stayed here in the past for new years 2 years ago. It’s very different from what it used to be idk if it’s new management or what. This hotel was a COMPLETE waste of my money . There were people with lit cigarettes at the front counter at one point. A group down the hall made the building reek of weed and there was rust all over the place in my own suite. I was devastated when this place went so downhill in comparison to my previous stay. it was so nice in the past.
- 5/5
All the staff was nice and helpful. I felt very safe!
- 4/5
We were there for a volleyball tournament. The beds were clean & comfortable. The room was a suite with a full size refrigerator, mini stovetop, full size microwave, toaster, dishwasher, and a wide table height granite bar for eating at. It also had a couch & a closet, and plenty of room.
- 1/5
Terrible room
- 2/5
After arriving very late, the night clerk agreed to me having a late check out time (noon). With a “do not disturb” sign on the door, room service was knocking on my door before 11:00 am — and sticking a cell phone in my face, requiring me to provide an answer whether I would be leaving, and what time I was leaving. Next time I will not be staying here.
- 2/5
Laven is amazing. The entire staff was sweet and happy to be of service. I did not sleep at all bc of the flood lights in the courtyard are glaring and in 227 the street lights glare in. GFI in 227/106 in kitchen inoperable, beds sunk in, stain on bedspread, no drains in bathroom of 106 but loved the setup of the room.
- 5/5
Very nice and affordable option in the Brentwood/Nashville area. Convenient right off 65. Not much noise in my room from other rooms at night. Will definitely stay again. Only issues was floor looked like it needed vacuumed and the tub has chips in the plastic. The tub itself was more of a mobile home plastic. Great experience overall!
- 5/5
Employee were very congenial and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Fair sized rooms. All in all, pretty good.

- 4/5
Loved the kitchen .ette.
- 3/5
Very nice staff and comfortable room with fridge and dishwasher. Ckean, but showing wear. I would stay again. Thank you!
- 2/5
This is an extended stay hotel and you can tell. The smell in the hallway was not great, the shower had something fuzzy growing on top, the room smelled of mildew and the floor was damp and sticky. Our toilet stopped working and the man at the front desk was kind enough to let us switch rooms. Room number two smelled faintly of smoke but at least wasn't damp. For the price, it was definitely not worth it. I'd at least expect breakfast. The staff was kind and attentive, but the facility leaves a lot to be desired. Would not stay again.
- 5/5
The motel is a nice, clean, and comfortable hotel. The front desk clerk was friendly and competent. I'd stay here again
- 4/5
Definitely motel vibes but overall clean and friendly service. Good value for the money.
- 4/5
I travel to Brentwood for work, the location is proximate to Maryland Farms and Brentwood Town Center. Everything I need is right there. Excellent local parks for walking and jogging and VERY nice employees.
- 5/5
Shelia and Matt were so helpful with my stay. We were interested in choosing a hotel that had a kitchen and a pool since it's summer and the price and location was perfect. It is located in a very nice area of Nashville about 20 minutes from the center of downtown. There was little to no traffic in this area and getting into the city was a breeze. Everything was just awesome and we will be staying here everytime we visit Nashville from this point on. Thanks Shelia and Matt for the super hospitality!
- 2/5
Dirty. Dirty walls, dirty carpets, stained sheets. He room was so sticky and humid, it looked like it had mildew growing on the lamp shade. The wifi was garbage and everything was just so run down and needed replacing. The staff was friendly but for the price, I would have expected a clean room.
- 4/5
Safe and easy transportation
- 1/5
Holes in carpet. Odor in building would not stay again.
- 3/5
We were moving our daughter from one house to another in Nashville. We have made many trips to Nashville over the years and we were trying a new location. The hotel was very dated, not very clean and it had roaches! The floors were sticky and the television didn’t work at all! Never again!
- 5/5
We definitely plan to stay here again.
- 2/5
I was disappointed about the pool not being open. It was a roach in the room i had to move to and also it had a funny smell. First room the shower was dirty and the toilet was clogged. The staff was very nice but overall i wasn't really happy with my stay. Was visiting from Michigan btw.
- 2/5
elevator did not work when checked out - nothing other than an apology was offered (had third floor room 3 wheel luggage cart tipped over when loaded at arrival very dated no pans, extremely limited in dishes, silverware room door did not fit right; squeaked when had to push hard
- 2/5
Smelly. Dirty. May double as a homeless shelter.
- 2/5
The property is in need of updates. Couch was beat up and torn. Bed was terrible- sagged in middle. You will need a chiropractor after. Bathroom had a water leak by tub. I could go on and on
- 3/5
The room was run down and needed a lot of repairs. Dresser drawers were broken, the shower curtain rod had been repositioned and holes were not patched. The tub was sinking in the center it appears that the floor under the tub was damaged and has sagged. Possible water damage. It was dangerous to stand since the floor was unstable creating an unsafe environment. The curtains had stains and the room smelled. The kitchen towels smelled as if they were used and were pretty gross.
