Reviews
Many guests expressed dissatisfaction with the cleanliness and condition of the rooms, citing issues such as stained comforters, dirty carpets, and broken furniture. Several guests also reported problems with the check-in process and having to change rooms multiple times. However, the breakfast was frequently mentioned as a positive aspect, and some guests praised the friendly and helpful staff.

Renovation in progress but nothing was clean. Public bathroom disgusting. Curtains in tatters. Gym equipment broken. No water in fitness center. Pool was a disaster area. Not going back
- 5/5
Nice basic breakfast with fresh hot food with plenty to choose from.

Great place to stay. The staff was friendly

Staff was friendly and room was clean! Will be back!

Breakfast was wonderful; employees very friendly. Room 240 bathroom sink did not drain well. No hand soap in bathroom.
- 3/5
Lots of renovations going on. Wouldn’t have booked this space if I knew that! Had to purchase drinking water, signage of where the rooms were not available, so got lost a lot.
- 2/5
Breakfast and location was nice and close to where my family was, which was good. The air-conditioning unit rattled every time it came on and when it cycled off it banged 3 to 5 times each time all through the night. It disrupted my sleep pretty bad. I don’t know if all the rooms are like this or it happened to be this room, but it needs to be fixed.

The room meta my need a place to stay for meharry graduation
- 3/5
This hotel is undergoing a much needed renovation. The room we had was dated, but clean, beds were uncomfortable, and the sofa in the room was difficult to sit on or get up from. The breakfast staff was very accommodating, however the breakfast was mediocre at best. The front desk was more dismissive than engaging. The location is great. Quick in and out to Nashville, close enough to the airport.
- 2/5
The hotel was full of families in town for sporting competitions, the kids were running all over, yelling and the parents were just as bad.
- 5/5
It was nice that the room was spacious.
- 5/5
Great stay! My son and I had an amazing time!
- 5/5
The hotel was nice, very clean and in a good area. The staff was great, breakfast was one of the best buffet breakfast I’ve had, and the king suite was really nice and spacious.
- 5/5
Fit all our needs breakfast was above normal!!!
- 4/5
Only negative was that the room next to us was under construction, so after we checked in late following a cheer competition, we woke up to loud music and construction happening to the room next to us. Other than that, the hotel was beautiful, comfortable and clean.

We were able to bring our dog. The bed was comfy and the room was a good size.

My wife was bitten by bugs on her face , probably from the pillow ( even we didn’t see the bugs. Her face on left side was visibly bitten in the places and became red. We changed a room in the 2nd day. Staff were nice!

after staying at this hotel 3-4 times a year for the past 15+ years...it's time to find something new.....not new as in recently built, but new as far as room simple things like TV, bedding, soaps, etc. they don't seem to care like they used to...even though they give me a bottle of water when I check in.

We were traveling with a dog and the room worked well for this.

We were told the issue would be fixed, but the key card never worked, which meant we had ongoing trouble getting in and out of the room throughout the night. After a long drive with a cranky toddler, this was especially exhausting. I reported the issue again to the front desk at checkout the next morning. Throughout this entire experience, none of the staff expressed any apology or concern for the inconvenience we faced. In addition, the room itself felt dated. The bathroom door was difficult to close, there were stains on the ceiling that appeared to be from a water leak, and the carpet seemed dirty. Overall, we did not feel the stay was worth the $175 per night we were charged, and we would not choose to stay here again.

Hotel is in the middle of a remodel. The room I had was one of the older rooms but not bad. The property is in a good location with easy access to I65 and plenty of places to get dinner

We were there three days. They never cleaned the room once we ran out of toilet paper had to go get some and the pillows were uncomfortable but other than that, it was OK.
- 3/5
It was only 3 stars because there was a roach in our room. Plus when house keeping cleaned our room they didn't replenish the coffee, the face cleaner wipes and only gave us 2 hand towels.
- 2/5
Room very dated, poor shape, dirty sink and bathtub. In need of an update.
- 5/5
Breakfast could’ve been better. I would definitely come back here again. It’s a nice distance from Nashville.
- 3/5
Strange smell in building. Smell in elevator was totally disgusting. Room not properly cleaned-plastic silverware from previous guests on floor in bedroom. Bed was very comfortable however. Breakfast was just ok. Would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
The negatives: Breakfast is horrible. Runny eggs, cold sausage; half-functional waffle irons. Wednesday Happy Hour is very disappointing. After I arrived during the second hour, one keg had already tapped out; snacks consisted of a few remaining cubes of cheese, tortilla chips, hummus, and a few cookies. Rooms are dated with damaged furniture, not terribly clean, and inadequate towels and wash cloths for 2 people. They clean rooms every other day, which is fine, but only provide enough towels and wash cloths for one day. Have to pick up your second day’s wash cloths and towels at front desk. Neither of our TVs worked when we arrived late at night, but maintenance did fix promptly the next morning. Will stay elsewhere during our next trip.
- 4/5
Love the "suite" option--well equipped kitchenette and roomy living area in addition to bedroom. Housekeeping was not provided initially, and when I asked about it, I was told that it was only every other day. Staff were quick to respond when I requested extra towels and when we had a broken light bulb. Minor repairs are needed (broken cabinet and a drawer that won't close). All in all, would stay again.
- 5/5
Nice staff. Parking was adequate
- 3/5
All was good
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The breakfast was great.
- 4/5
No fresh fruit at breakfast. No other juice besides orange. No milk other than cow milk. This has changed since last March. Why are they serving breakfast tacos every day?
- 1/5
I did not got room service twice and I have to stay in mess and even I asked for room service and lady at front not provided. I am not a big fan of Hilton properties any way and this stay is terrible and I very unhappy with this location. I have to visit this location for my corporate meetings and I will stay in Martiot properties in future.
- 4/5
Just a bit too far away from downtown for what we needed and nothing much going on in the immediate area.
- 5/5
We liked the way the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedding was nice with plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The fridge was not small. The parking convenient and you could get into building at several locations. Two small problems: no safe and ran out of bathtub slip mats. Otherwise was a great value
- 4/5
Property was decent. Pool was fun. Room was clean.
- 4/5
The first room we were given the A/C wasn’t working so we got moved. The A/C was better but still not great. Other than that it was ok
- 5/5
Perfect hotel for our family of four! It was close to shopping and having a kitchen was amazing!
- 4/5
Lovely stay with family !
- 5/5
The staff was amazing, the stay was amazing. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Very quiet area.
- 5/5
Very clean and polite.. We only stay there when we are in Nashville every two months.
- 4/5
Very satisfied with the stay. Will consider staying again.
- 3/5
It was noisy- kids running in halls.
- 2/5
The room we were in was across from the stairwell, the hotel was full of kids in town for a sporting event and they ran up and down the stairs all night slamming the door. We called the front desk soon after checking I, about 6ish, because the light in the bathroom made a horrible buzzing noise. The front desk worker came and checked it, then said she would have to call in maintenance because they were gone for the day but no one ever came. When we checked out in the morning I reminded the front desk about the light and they had no idea what I was talking about.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel. Breakfast was very very busy, but the staff kept up with stocking the food and the keeping the tables clean.
- 5/5
The juice machine was not operative for breakfast the whole time. The breakfast sausage was over cooked and dried up, every day. Always had fresh fruit available, lots of amenities at the property. Easy check in. Room was ready when I arrived and had lots of ammenities. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
The stay was good. Not up to usual standards for hikton. Understaffed at breakfast. Lobby receptionist was less than engaging.
- 5/5
Comfortable beds, nice breakfast
- 4/5
It was very clean and staff was welcoming. The suite was spacious and it was convenient to have a kitchenette. Breakfast was decent, with lots of options. It was disappointing that the pool was closed. We would stay again assuming the pool was back in service.
- 4/5
Room was as expected. Clean and quiet. Breakfast could use an upgrade
- 5/5
Very nice hotel located in a quiet area of Brentwood. Staff was amazing (front desk, housekeeping, breakfast room). Great price and very enjoyable stay
- 1/5
The bed was not clean there was boogers on the comforter. There was a yellow crusty stain on another bed sheet. The floor was not vacuumed. There was long black hairs stuck on the other bed sheet as well. To top it off the lady told me the manager would be calling me the next day to rectify this because it was way way way way below standards. This manager did not call me back. I called and was told he was busy and that he would call me later. 4 days later he still has not called. This was a very poor experience. I would not recommend spending your money at this hotel. Go elsewhere. I waited to see if he would rectify this before submitting a comment but he did not.
- 5/5
We had a very nice stay. The room was good size with a nice kitchen area, and a couch and chair. Breakfast was great. Quiet location. We did not use the pool. Check in was easy and the staff was very pleasant.
- 3/5
Very uncomfortable pulled out bed.
- 3/5
Someone should have told us at check in or before that they do not do daily room maid attention-except as requested. Seemed like the couch and recliner chair needed cleaning.
- 4/5
but the heater blew cold air and was hard to get warm. Also not heated pool but was told there was; it wasn't working.
- 3/5
Pull out sofa was broken in 1st room so we were moved and the pull out in the next was gross looking and broke but we were tired and decided to sleep and make due. Beds were small and pillows flat. Hallways had peeling paint and wallpaper. The food for breakfast was was also under the normal homewood suites we expected.
- 3/5
The room and property were just ok. Maybe a little overpriced for the average room and amenities. Pet fee was higher than what was posted online from this site.
- 4/5
Comfortable
- 5/5
Staff was excellent
- 3/5
Probably a one time issue. Planning on staying here next time. I do always stay in the home woods where ever I travel because of the kitchen.
- 5/5
Nice and clean and quiet
- 5/5
I have stayed here at least 6 times - great stay, convenient location, friendly staff!!
- 5/5
It was a good stay. Easy parking, plenty of places to eat, easy access from interstate. Room was comfortable, plenty of space. The breakfast was fine, with the normal stuff that all hotels provide. I would stay again.
- 5/5
I love this location in Brentwood.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The staff was fantastic. The room could definitely use some updating but it was comfortable for a one night stay. The size of the suite was great. The breakfast was a bit bit ho-hum but it filled the stomach before driving home. Overall I would recommend for the short stay we had.

I’ve been a loyal Homewood Suites customer for years, and the hotel was pretty much as expected. However, the toilet had major issues as it could not flush properly. There was a sign taped to the wall directing you to use the plunger under the sink and could dial “0” for assistance. I’m pretty easy going, but do not expect to have to plunge a toilet after every use. What gets me is that the hotel obviously knows there is a problem, but chooses not to address, which unfortunate for the next customer. Really unacceptable. When I told this to the young lady at the front desk upon check out, there was little response. Will not stay there again.
- 5/5
The property was clean and easy to transition to our venue daily.
- 4/5
Good breakfast. No housekeeping in my room.
- 2/5
Breakfast was terrible. Most of the food was gone an hour before breakfast closed. Our room needed some maintenance. The entry/exit door hinge was broken and was difficult to open and shut. There was no in-room safe available, and there were stains on the walls. Additionally, the vent fan in the bathroom was filthy. We have previously had great experiences at Homewood Suites, but we will not be staying at this location again.
- 5/5
Staff was great!
- 5/5
I was so glad that I read reviews and stayed at this hotel. Our accessible room with a roll in shower had a separate living and kitchen area. The only downside was the outside access was right next to our door, so you could hear people coming and going. We ended up shutting the door to the bedroom and it kept most of the noise out. The staff was friendly and helpful. The free buffet had your average hotel food, but they kept it stocked and clean. I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay here again if i am ever in the neighborhood.
- 1/5
Just ok.
- 3/5
Not terrible but not great.
- 4/5
No complaints at all
- 3/5
I found bugs in my room , the bed was not comfortable it left me with back pains
- 5/5
I felt comfortable travelling alone.
- 5/5
It was great to have our own full kitchen to make our own meals, instead of always eating out on vacation.
- 5/5
The person at check-in was kind and friendly! The room had some stains on the furniture and some of the rubber borders on the floor are not attached to the floor.
- 2/5
The other bedroom door wouldn’t latch so it wouldn’t stay closed. Also no privacy. There might as well have been no bedroom doors at all. It is clear the floors are having issues as they aren’t level and have drops in them. Close to $800 for two nights We will NOT be back.
- 3/5
Found a bug was moved to another room and the bed was very uncomfortable and left me with back pain
- 5/5
Clean, organized, comfortable, great location, will return for sure!
- 5/5
We always enjoy our stay here. Very clean and friendly staff. Also appreciate when we do travel with our fur babies, they’re accepted. It’s our go to stop when visiting our daughter heading to MS.
- 4/5
Hotel is nice but is in need of a refresh or a remodel. The parking lot is in awful shape with numerous patches, cracks, and potholes. This is very atypical of the Hilton properties where I have stayed in the past. On the plus side, this hotel is situated in a business park with access to I-65 just minutes away. There are also Kroger and Publix grocery store less than 5 minutes away.
- 2/5
The staff, lobby, and the breakfast areas were very nice. However, our room was dirty. There were crumbs left on the table, the floor was dirty, there was trash left in the corners. The air conditioner made a horrible rattling noise that woke us up every time it cut on. The couch in the living room almost sunk to the floor when you sat on it. Plus, they did not have ice machines in the hotel. We had a refrigerators with a freezer, but no ice trays to make ice. Over all, I was really disappointed with our room.

Facility is tired. Needs attention. Breakfast was Just OK. Overall nice stay
- 5/5
All the staff was so friendly, that we came in contact with, the bed was excellent & very quiet
- 1/5
I would never recommend this location due to the young lady that works the 7-3p shift. I’ve never been disrespectful or talked to so rudely. Hard to believe Hilton would employee someone with zero actual customer service skills.
- 5/5
Hotel had a "classy" feel that we weren't expecting for the price. Excellent breakfast and my goodness that lemonade in the lobby hot the spot every time.
- 1/5
Huge disappointment. Expedia website messed up the reservations and refused to correct. We had to pay extra. Hotel was not clean. Never serviced the rooms. Cable TV kept going off. so could not finish watching movie. They only had the evening reception once with just beer or lemonade to drink. Pool is tiny and shallow. Suitable for a small group of children but not adequate to swim laps. Did not offer bottles of water to us as Hilton Honors members for over 35 years. It is an old worn out hotel that the staff does not clean very much. The 3 days we were there, the hallways were never vacuumed of trash and debris. Will never stay there again. Better hotels nearby.
- 1/5
The hotel is old, dirty, and dated, the staff rarely cleans floors, etc. The pool is basically a kiddie pool too small and shallow for swimming laps. in the 3 days we stayed there (prepaid or we would have checked out) only once did they have the evening manager's cocktail event. Beer only. Premium cable TV would stop in the middle of watching a movie. It went in and out of service. They never cleaned the room or brought fresh towels, toilet paper, etc. We were very disappointed and felt unsafe with the lack of cleanliness. Do not stay here. There are numerous nice hotels in the area to rent.
- 3/5
The downside: outlets and fixtures, etc. are out of date and I had to work to find places to plug in my devices. The hardest thing, though, is that the walls are paper thin. There was a party going on until about 3 am., and my dog barked without stopping for about 6 hours. We finally took off to another hotel to get some sleep.
- 3/5
Property is far from my expectations from Homewood Suites; it was a bad surprise. Sofa looked and felt awful. Carpet definitely needs attention. On the bright side STAFF was great! I would beg someone from the brand to verify this property for minimum standards.
- 2/5
Arrived to find a blood stained comforter on the bed. Disgusting.
- 1/5
This was the worst stay that I have had in years. Several issues related from the check-in process to the rooms. I was changed to five different rooms in one night due to issues. The property needs some major renovation to decor, carpet and furniture. The breakfast was the only thing that was good. Will not be back or recommend.
- 1/5
There were dirty clothes from the previous guests we found on the floor, cabinet doors are falling off the hinges, Cheetos and crumbs were found when pulling out the sleeper sofa, carpets were dirty. We will not be staying here again.
- 1/5
Overall dirty. Multiple stains to furniture and carpet. 2 alive cockroaches found in just a couple hours. Refused to stay there with our children. When notifying staff of the room condition, no one seemed surprised and just asked if I wanted another room. My family and I left the facility.
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff

Nashville is a booming and exciting place to visit
- 5/5
amazing food, spacious, comfortable! Clean!
- 5/5
Good breakfast. Kind desk staff. Good bed.
- 2/5
We’ve stayed at many Homewood suites, and this was our first negative experience. We had to get a new room because the pull-out bed was so uncomfortable with broken springs. Then our new room was right by the elevator and the bell was dinging throughout the night walking up our daughter. Finally, we just moved her mattress to the bedroom floor. The pool wasn’t open, however the weather didn’t cooperate anyway. They ran out of dish soap for the guest room kitchens…the list goes on. I was really disappointed, especially for the amount we paid to stay there.
- 3/5
For the price, I was expecting a better, higher-quality room. The cost came out to over $300/night. The staff at the hotel was fabulous! They were very kind, helpful and professional. The room was in fairly bad shape, leaky toilet, broken door handles, and broken lamps, a refresh would help a lot. The hotel also smelled bad, the water in the bathroom smelled like rotten eggs and the cleaning staff left garbage bags in the stairwell overnight most nights which made the walk to breakfast very stinky.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful
- 5/5
It was great
- 3/5
The room definitely needed updating, the floors were stained, doors coming off the hinges. The suite was convenient, just needed some work.
- 4/5
The staff were polite and knowledgeable!
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
It was an outstanding stay in Brentwood!!!!
- 5/5
Loved our stay. Very friendly staff, and rooms were clean and nice. We will definitely be staying here from now on when we come to Brentwood.
- 5/5
Area was safe! Staff was friendly and helpful! Hotel was clean breakfast was good! Overall nice place to stay!
- 4/5
Bedding could be better....
- 3/5
I know 3 star hotels can vary. It is a decent hotel. But the bed was so hard, I woke up with horrible back spams both mornings.
- 4/5
Excellent service
- 5/5
Easy check in process.
- 5/5
Group setting , breakfast, friendly
- 3/5
…And breakfast really needs to move away from powdered eggs.
- 2/5
The rooms need updating. The dog barking is ridiculous, this alone would cause us to never stay again.
- 2/5
This hotel smelled like mildew, everywhere. Our room was technically clean and it was very large and well furnished but it smelled like mildew badly. We would have asked for another room but the entire hotel smelled so we don’t think it would’ve made much of a difference.
- 4/5
Checking In was good, staff was friendly and courteous throughout process. Room was clean. Bathroom - chipped and peeling towel shelf and towel rod missing
