The room was in a good, safe location with food services nearby and walkable. Room was neat, clean and looked to have been recently repainted. Our room was quiet and located away from the busy street. Staff were helpful. It would have been an economical place to stay for heading out to the amusement parks a few minutes away. Family lived in a nearby neighborhood which again we could walk to.

Place was nice I left my necklace on the right bedside table and I know for a fact I left it there. I understand that is my fault(how do you forget your necklace). However, I called and asked if they had a lost and found and they claimed they didn’t. And that they didn’t find a necklace either. When I KNOW I left it there and I saw two cleaning people go in and out of the room before I fully left. The Place was okay. Just wish they didn’t lie about my necklace and would rightfully give it back. Not sure who took it but. Won’t be staying here again.

Breakfast, hamburger and salad dinner cafe right in the corner. Three long blocks from main bar/restaurant strip. Bus route 143 stop is in the corner, Bus route 129 is 3 blocks up by bar strip ( by The Improv) Managers very friendly. Bed was a little hard, no ice machine. When I tried to make another reservation in same place price went up in Booking,

It was absolutely perfect for the price. Asking how did the room at $95 for the night. The room has a pretty good size mini fridge, a smart mirror and vinyl floors. Everything looks pretty clean and it looks better than a hotel next door. Needed a quick place to crash and I will use this place again.

Nice Studio like environment within and comfy king bed. Extra space in room if you travel with more than 2 by you adding a Queen size blow up mattress. Ability to park your car directly in front of the unit was cool. Quiet area off Brea Blvd and walking distance to DownTown Brea was nice to not have to look for parking. I would stay again and the reviews on other blogs didn't do this little Inn justice. Great Stay for my 3 nights there!!

The office staff was very pleasant to speak with. He gave me instructions on how to get around the area if I wanted to walk to downtown. That was very helpful. He answered all of my questions from beginning to end. The stay was so relaxing. Parking is super quiet. The rooms are small but super cozy and clean. I will definitely go back again when I’m in the area.

Other than these few things, it was a good place to stay.

The building appears to be shaped kind of like an L at one end there’s been a pile of bedding in front of a door since we checked in earlier today. Parking is slightly limited. I noticed several open condom wrappers in the rocks around the doors and on the far side where the turf is smells of animal feces and you can see it all over the turf as well. Not talking about a few piles I’m talking about loads of piles. The front desk man that checked me in was not friendly whatsoever but was quick to get me done.

It was decent for the price. It was overall clean but it could have been cleaner such as the remote being dirty, the upholstery on one chair looked like it needed a scrubbing or just throw it out and keep the pleather chairs and lastly there was a short dark hair strand under the blanket which could have easily fell from the cleaners so I let it go. The other areas were clean along with the bathroom which was great. I did not like that you could not higher the tv volume pass 15 and there seemed to be construction going on in the morning which sucked especially when you can barely hear the tv. We didn’t stay inside long and it seemed to be over when we got back so it wasn’t a deal breaker. I did like the mirror which was super cute along with the amenities such as coffee, fridge and microwave. Beds were okay, did the job for the night. Cozy property with free parking. Cafe across the street was good and there is hamburgers next door and the mall is close by. Staff were very friendly. I would stay again! Do recommend if you want some privacy on a budget.

It was fine for one night. Didnt have any breakfast options or any computer or printer access that Ive benefited from at other motels with lobby, but this one didnt so I cant really complain about it.

We spent one night there, we checked in at 1am after Disney. It was a good experience over all, the only 'bad thing's it was that the toilet made a loud noise in the morning.

For a motel Inn, this place is average. The price is about where it should be for the property- anything less than $100 a night is too much. Unfortunately I had the feeling of being judged by my appearance. Also judgements towards my dog waiting in the car after I picked up my dog in the morning from my friend to carry on with my journey back home. Healthy Manners make a better life. Thank you for the experience best of luck to you.

The room was comfortable and roomy enough. However, it's not setup for a long stay. There are no dressers drawers so expect to live out of your suitcase. There was a less than 12" wide rod I guess to hang clothes but no hangers. I only spent two nights so I wasn't effected. Bath towels were very thin and small. I'm petite and I couldn't wrap it around me. I had to be somewhere at 700 a.m. After showering I discovered the hair dryer wasn't working. It was 6:30 a.m. when I went to office to ask if they had an extra one, them he didn't and offered no solution like going into another vacant room and let me borrow it so I could dry my hair. When I returned in the evening, there was a new hair dryer but I didn't need it.

Towels must be 50 years old. It’s like drying off with sandpaper and they are tiny. Sink in 115 doesn’t hardly drain so the whole bathroom smells like nasty waste water.

I mentioned in a review that the office advertised it was open 24 hours but actually the door to the office is locked & you must ring a bell for service. I wasn’t checking in very late, I believe it was around 7:00pm. I notified the manager the following day that the heater was leaking and there was water on the floor as a result, he said that he would take care of it. When I arrived in my room that evening, there were towels placed under the heater. When I mentioned this in a review, he apparently received my input and was furious. He said that I must leave even though I had prepaid for 4 nights. I checked my receipt and I was charged for February 24, 2024 although I left early that day, actually before 10:00am, he knocked on my door a few minutes later and again insisted that I leave immediately. Once he told me that I had to leave, I was packed up and was ready to leave in less than 20 minutes. I spent very little time in the room as most of the time I was visiting a friend who is dying in a nearby hospital. My friend’s slow, steady death is very stressful and I certainly didn’t need the stress caused by this type of a response to legitimate concerns.

Small rooms but affordable for a one night stay while traveling

I like that there were 3 beds in the room and nice floors. Restrooms may need some upgrades like re-painting and a next bath tub. Restroom should with stocked with 2 toilet paper rolls instead of 1 roll.

There was no channels on the TV, barely anything to watch!

Hyland Inn has a great location and facilities for simple short-term stays. I was a little surprised (I missed the card in the room) to learn you need to ask explicitly for maid service - otherwise, no beds made, no resupplies. But if you put out the sign - the service is fine and the room clean. One other small note - the electric plugs at the bedside are set so low and close to the bedside table top that you can't use them if your e-plug is anything larger than a straight-in-wall shape (no "side-wire" plug will fit). And the tables are fixed to the wall, so you can't move them. It's only a small inconvenience, though, All things considered, Hyland is a satisfactory property if you're looking for an economical place.

Quiet from my experiences here so far and I like that it's usually more affordable than some of the big chain hotels.

We liked how close it was to nearby attractions. However, when we got to our room, it had not been thoroughly cleaned. It had eyelashes on the headboard. When I asked for more towels I was told that “that’s the maids job” and couldn’t be given any additional towels

The room was clean enough, but there was clearly a leak underneath the tiles from the bathroom into the area where the sink is. When I brought it up to management, they weee not able to change my room. There was clearly damage from before that had been “fixed.” On the positive side, I didn’t feel unsafe at all.

Great service, good location and very clean.

Simple motel, clean and well maintained. We had a microwave, coffee maker, and microwave in our room. Parking right outside the room is convenient. No complaints
