Was perfect for our quick overnight stay beds were comfy. Seemed newly renovated. The kids loved the pool.

Hotel management was helpful with my early arrival. Clean rooms, property and pool area.

The room was clean and the staff was very polite and professional. The breakfast was very good and it's location was close to everything. Loved it!! 😊

The staff was great! The property was underwhelming and needed lots of maintenance. There weren’t any bugs and was clean so that’s why it’s a 2* and not 1*. I would pay an extra $50 and stay somewhere nicer.

Run down, trash everywhere. Very poor landscaping and dated building. My room was absolutely filthy. There’s a dirt and dust everywhere. The shower was so nasty that I had to lay a towel down just to stand on to take a shower. There’s also no towels in my room I had to go ask for one.

This hotel was exactly what I was looking for. Property is older, but remodeled and clean. Beds are comfortable. Great location for what I needed. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I'll definitely be staying here again when in the area.

Plenty of parking, good wifi, hot breakfast. The sink had a bad odor, need to do a better job cleaning. Requested housekeeping service on day of check in. No one showed up. Housekeeping is upon request only. They will not do your bed everyday nor take the trash out. Could improve on this.

I have had better breakfast at other places that I’ve stayed. The rooms are dated. The air conditioning system terrible in my room. It was on 60 and it felt like I was standing outside. They need to upgrade the rooms. The water in the shower was tepid when I booked the room, it stated that it was an upgraded suite it was far from it.

This is the first time in Sarasota for us and we came down from GA, with our son to visit his new school campus and wanted a hotel very close. Quality was more than we expected. The hotel clerk that checked us in was very sweet and check in process was smooth. They have hot breakfast in the morning, coffee, etc. Our room was clean, bathroom was exceptional, clean towels, and bed sheets. Ended up staying an extra night because our transportation back home didn't leave till late...the sweet lady gave us a discount :) We will always come here when we visit this area again. Thank you for the great service!

The hotel is very old and in need of updating but spotlessly clean. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great.

We had to leave early in the morning after finding out the so-called “continental breakfast” was far from what we expected. We ended up driving around looking for an ATM machine, then had to stop at Publix to buy detergent and even Google a laundromat nearby because the hotel only had one coin-operated washer and dryer available. Overall, the stay became more stressful and inconvenient than relaxing. We were assigned a room on the 3rd floor, and the entire hallway reeked strongly of curry. The smell throughout that floor was overwhelming and unpleasant. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable, and if you are only looking for a place to sleep for a quick trip to Siesta Key, it may work for one night. Otherwise, I would recommend finding another place with better overall comfort and amenities.

Check in was good. Room was nice but the AC was not functioning properly and it was hot and cold through the night. Not terrible but at times got hot and uncomfortable before it would finally kick back on. We only stayed one night or else we would have asked to move to another room.

For the price, it was nice and comfortable. Bed was super comfortable and clean. Breakfast had everything and more to get your day started.

Paid for a king got 2 doubles not happy and front desk didn’t want to help after showing my confirmation. They said they don’t accommodate 3rd party reservations. What!? Smelled a little weird like humid. Breakfast not bad but all reheated.

The breakfast was awful the bread was hard, and the food seemed reheated. I almost threw up. To make things worse, there was a cockroach on the coffee counter. A horrible experience.

We had a pretty good weekend

This was located close to my friend’s house so it was a very convenient location. Also close were several good places to eat and it was even close to Publix, my favorite grocery store! I only did not like some of the guests. Since the accommodations are non-smoking, a few people went outside to smoke and play music in their trucks. It was a group of friends traveling together.

The room reeked of smoke. Wore shower shoes in the shower as the tub looked dirty. Beetles in the bathtub as well. Pillows were very flat and offered no support. Tv randomly lost service in the middle of a movie and wouldn’t reconnect. A couple of the outlets didn’t work for charging. Carpet was also dirty.

Felt unsafe...it was a motel and not a hotel. People smoking weed outside, the room smelled, you could hear everything, motorcycles roaming the parking lot at 2am, and the couple next door having sex so loud we thought someone was banging on the wall. Barely slept. Breakfast was okay.

This hotel was supposedly rated "great" on hotels.com but I find that hard to believe. We actually didn't stay here but drove many hours to get home rather than stay in here. The location is on a busy street, there were people drinking in the parking lot, a homeless lady camped out at the entryway, the building was run down and the doors open directly onto the parking lot so no buffer of a lobby for safety - anyone can access your door. We did not feel safe here and took a financial hit rather than stay. I will never use hotels.com again: over priced, misrepresented properties, and zero help when I called for assistance with the situation.

Great location for our purpose. We only stayed one night. Fan in the shower/bathroom was very noisy. Had to shut it down and use the light from the bathroom to light the shower. Our room was in the back of the motel and had to drive to the front for breakfast. The floors need a good cleaning. Our stocking feet got pretty bad after walking on them.

The room is nothing special—you get what you pay for, which was expected. However, they allow various laborers to use their parking lot throughout the night, and these individuals blasted music from their vehicles the entire time without even having a room at the property. If you are unbothered by loud music being played all night, this is the place for you.

Our room is beat up. The bathroom is tiny. But if you need somewhere inexpensive, it will do.

This hotel is not for families. It looks very dirty on the outside, and most of the air conditioners were leaking! My room looked clean, but the floor had a dirty layer on it, as if it hadn't been mopped in days! Breakfast was included, but after the first day, we decided not to eat there. Everything looked clean, but the eggs tasted terrible! If you're traveling alone, this hotel is for you; don't go there with children!

Property isn’t in the best area, but a/c worked and room was clean. There was construction or workers fixing things so early morning too noisey.

Kudos to the proprietors for all the little touches they make to make the stay comfortable. Nice blankets, bulk soap and shampoo/conditioner, etc. It is an older property, but they make it better than the rest in this category.

This is an older motel, but a clean one. The front desk at check-in was friendly and helpful and the front desk at check-out was pleasant and professional, both matching their different personalities and equally a positive experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Delicious scrambled eggs (I'm not much of an egg eater, I don't necessarily love them but need a protein breakfast, so my saying delicious means a lot.) There were also sausage patties that were nicely cooked. I also had yogurt and a toasted English muffin, with coffee. I didn't think so initially, but there is water, next to the juice there is a fountain with a filtered water dispenser to refill water bottles. The coffee was not overly strong, another plus. I didn't care too much for the neighborhood, but I felt safe at the motel.

Our experience at the hotel was very good. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff was always attentive to refilling everything promptly. The room was clean, and housekeeping kept it well organized and serviced quickly every day. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room super cool and comfortable.

Room was clean, but basic. Could use a bit of an update, but did the job for the night. Lots of restaurants down the road. Nice little continental breakfast. Easy checkin/checkout. The shower in the room was amazing! Bed was comfortable.

Aside from that, the cleaners at least made a good attempt at cleaning and making sure everything was replenished in the room. Everything was fairly clean for what it was, and we always magically had clean towels despite us having a do not disturb sign on door. They made a real effort and took their time cleaning each room, it seemed.

I was promised a walk-in shower room for my 88 year-old mother and it was a regular bathroom with a tub..: when I spilled a little bit of water on the floor and wiped it up with a cloth,it was dirty…In my mother‘s bathroom the handle for the bathtub faucet and showerhead was very loose,but it did work. The tub in my room idrained very very slowly.

The rooms were tidy but we could tell the floors are not being mopped regularly and definitely not after each stay. Both mine and my boyfriend’s two rooms, after walking barefoot in them for only a few minutes, our feet And our children’s feet were completely black. And not just light grey, but BLACK. For the price I paid, which was $142 total, I would have expected much nicer accommodations, cleaner rooms and better amenities. I would have truly expected to pay $65-$80 max rooms like these. I think next time we come to the area, we will look for something different.

Ample parking when I arrived always a nice way to start. Check in was a breeze, as the staff had everything ready to go during the process. Everything worked well in the room. Furnishings were great, the room was clean, and the pillows were comfortable. Good breakfast, too!

Room had mold in the bathroom , wholes in the wall that was open to the outside, the hotel charged a “high influx fee” without notifying me they were charging my card and additional 300 dollars. I went to front staff to request all charges in my card and they couldn’t give me a receipt that showed the double charge because they tried to hide it. I sent an email to the general manager and was ignored. Very unprofessional.

Wonderful staff and excellent breakfast that was well stocked. Room was fine, but bathroom was challenging due to location of shower head and toilet in same area. Toilet area always flooded. The floors weren’t mopped and consequently were quite dirty. There was black mold between the tiles in the shower. The bathroom outlet didn’t work, so the dryer was useless. Parking was also a challenge, especially if you arrived late in the evening.

The front desk person was super nice, when I called and requested a day change. There were no issues, she said if hotel. Com has no problem with it, they have enough space to do a one day later check in. We had have a huge emergency in a family and needed one day to postpone. We weren’t canceling, we were changing date and both parties were ok with it, TILL we got on the phone with property manager John ( I highly doubt he gave his right name out) and he was just the MOST unpleasant person I have met in my whole life. ONE MISERABLE PERSON who made our day even worst. I would NEVER spent a dollar at this hotel in Sarasota. I’m sorry but he couldn’t even give a reason why he declining it even tho third party and the hotel didn’t have no issue. He ended up hanging up on us, cause a simple “ why sir is it a problem to you “ couldn’t answer. Shame on you. We didn’t even had a chance to book in that day, we would arrived one day later, but since this nasty manager John, I rather sleep somewhere else with pleasant people around me and I know my money goes to somewhere way better than this sad person. I felt bad for the front desk lady, she was scared to even give her name so she doesn’t get in trouble with John. That tells you a lot about his poor management

Will never stay here again. Check in was supposed to be 3pm. Did not get a room until SIX PM after coming in even earlier than 3 and was told check in was firm at 3… yeah right. So if someone checks out late and you know someone is already trying to check in why don’t you assign them another room?? Ridiculous. Also only ONE person working the desk when so many people are trying to check in. Floors were dirty, the tv had lines in through it and constantly had a static noise sounding like it was gonna blow while it was running. Beds were hard and the breakfast was completely inedible my 2 year old wouldn’t even eat it. Will NEVER stay here again.

Dirty, had to go back and forth to changed room every rooms they give us was not ready and dirty the beds was not ready. Very very disappointed i will gove 0 ratings.

We had black mold in the shower and around the tub. The floors were so dirty they turned my son's feet black. Plus, we couldn't get the TV to turn off. I let the front desk person know and nothing was done about it. All I was told was they would have a maintenance person fix the TV, which never happened.

Walked around the room for maybe 3 minutes barefoot and the bottom of our feet were BLACK! The walls in the bathroom had pee, the tub was moldy and the shower head definitely needs a scrub.

This experience seemed very inappropriate and completely unnecessary. I was embarrassed by the harsh way she spoke to me in front of other guests. I don't think that this follows the ADA guidelines, but I'm not completely sure about it. Either way, it felt very bad. It's got to be better to leave him in the room and not bring him into the kitchen area. People have allergies, fears of dogs, sanitary concerns... but none of that apparently matters to the owner. I won't be back.

The hotel is in need of significant updates, which is the only positive aspect. The room was unfortunately infested with roaches and quite unclean. The microwave was old and had rust inside. It was evident that there had been a hole in the wall due to a poorly executed cover-up. Consequently, my check-out was much quicker than my check-in, as I departed to find alternative accommodations.

Friday night the AC in or room wasn't working. So, I reported it to the front desk will having breakfast Saturday morning the clerk Theresa was amazing and immediately gave us a new room. Parking is a little tight but still managed to get a spot somewhat close to our room.

The rooms are not very spacious but they are well distributed and have what you need. The breakfast is very good and varied. My only concern is that the water in the shower is a little hotter than normal and there was no way to graduate it, no matter how much I moved the tap to the side of the cold water, the temperature did not graduate.

this property is not a luxurious but I would definitely come here again . They have free breakfast and the food options was good like bagels . Waffles etc . The area is quiet we felt very safe . They have a pool on site which my kid used every day we was there . Free parking . What more can you ask for . This property meet all our needs …..

Desde el principio muy mal. La joven del front desk no fue amable. Y parecia que queria hacer todo rapido para volver a ver la novela. Luego me dieron una habitacion que apestaba a cigarrillo pero bien fuerte. Soy asmatica y mi reservacion decia claramente que era una habitacion No Smoking. Pedimos que nos cambiaran y nos dan dos queen por que dique ya no tenian king. Asi que pagué por una cosa y me dieron otra. Las habitaciones se ven viejas y el baño horrible. Nos bañamos con las chancletas puestas. Y no nos la quitabamos en ningun momento. El lobby y el area de desayuno se veian remodeladas y limpias. Por eso decidimos desayunar alli. Y las señoras que atendian el desayuno eran muy cheveres y amables. Pero no vuelvo a quedarme ahi.

Is a terrible hotel.. old and bathroom are horrible. Curtains are very very old. In top of that they hold you the same amount of the amount that you need to pay for the reservation. Don’t stay there.

Very dirty n roaches in the bathroom

Great hotel.

Very old and dirty place to stay.

It was ok the pool broke the room wasn’t as clean as it could be the floors were bad

Stayed one night prior to a fishing trip. Mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom. Bathroom fixtures were loose. Very outdated rooms. Would not recommend for families.

It was close to the airport and where we needed to go.

The room was dirty. The bathtub was moldy, the water was pooling on the tub, the sink was moldy, and there were at least 4 cockroaches.

Easy in and out

As we walked into the room a it felt cool and it smelled clean. The floors are tile so therefore no clingy odor. Beds and covers were so comfortable The breakfast option is continental which is great for quick, filling meal. Although we didn’t have time to go into pool - it looked clean and inviting. For smokers - there is covered seating area that you can enjoy.

property is old but clean. Airconditioner was broken but they changed us to another room before we reported to office. Breakfast is included. On the major road between Sarasota and Bradenton and close to airport.

The room was clean. No problems during my stay. Friendly staff. My 3rd time staying here with my kids. Allways good for the price.

There were roaches in the room. The ink had mold in it. Floors were dirty upon arrival. Terrible stay overall.

We would NOT stay here again. Might as well slap Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn on the side. Rooms may have been renovated but the bathroom was not. Entrances to room outside like a cheap motel. Clientele to match. I immediately checked for bed bugs seeing the place. Thankfully, no issues there. Would not try the “breakfast” after seeing the hotel.

I just needed to room to rest. Had an early departure but the person at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, room was nice and beds comfortable.

My air conditioner was leaking in the room made a big mess that's my only complaint

Overall great stay , very clean and the bed was super comfy and a nice new big tv!! Only drawback was breakfast was super busy and ran out of a lot of the items by the time I got there…could have been better selection but not terrible.

The staff was very nice. Everything else was horrible. This place looks clean outside. The actual room was old outdated. The bathtub paint was peeling and had something that could be rust. Mildew in the grout on the shower walls. Toilet paper holder was rust. Bed sheets had a stain. There was nothing quality about this hotel.

I even asked the front desk about the cockroaches, and they told me they couldn't control them from getting into the rooms. INSANE! The bathroom was very dirty and moldy. The floor didn't seem to be cleaned properly. HORRIBLE! This was the worst place we've ever stayed. Again, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

We checked into our booked room but when we walked into it, there was no way we could stay there! Extremely dirty. One bed was not made, there was stains all over the chair and there was dirt, food, and debris all over the floor. We immediately went back to the receptionist and told her and asked for a refund. She said she would go on Expedia right away and start the process but apparently she did not. Would not recommend!

Our stay was excellent!!

The grounds were very clean. Parking outside our room was great. Breakfast was ok. The rooms were dated and the floors kinda nasty like most old hotels. I don’t like most hotel floors. Housekeeping was super friendly and made sure we had clean towels and necessities each day. The pool area was fantastic. The location was central to the convention center and beaches. We would stay again

I had a medical issue that came up unexpectedly just before my trip. I understood that there was a no refund policy. On Friday April 4th, I called Expedia - from the hospital - who told me that the refund would not be an issue. The only reason why I didn't cancel there and then was because I was waiting on further information from doctors. I was discharged and went home on Saturday. On Monday, at 6:20 am I called back Expedia. There were no notes of my call. Anyhow, they now told me they had to notify the hotel for the refund but the manager (PK) was only in at noon. The hotel refused to give a refund (I was checking in that Wednesday @ 3 pm). Expedia stated that Theresa - front desk - had answered - and said no. So I called Choice Hotels custom service number, spoke to an agent who said that third party (in this case Expedia) was responding for any refund. I then called the hotel and spoke to PK...who stated the same, Expedia was responsible for the refund. As a gesture for the inconvenience he was going to give 40 000 points to my Choice Privileges Account. I didn't have one, so we set it up on the phone together. I have not seen those points in my account as of April 15th, 2025. At this time before departure, I am now in the middle of Expedia and Quality Inn pointing fingers at each other. I decide to go because I don't want to lose the money.

I did not get the room that I had reserved. I have reserved a king suite but got a double Queen regular room. They did not offer any type of compensation or really any apology. Then when I got into the room the floor was absolutely disgusting and when I complained about it they said they could have the maids come in the morning and clean the floor but I told them that was unacceptable!! They asked if I wanted some towels and a spray bottle to clean it myself or have the maintenance guy come from some other location but not on the property and clean it with a machine. I opted to have maintenance come and clean it with a machine and once he got there he was amazing and very friendly. He also told me that they knew the floor had not been cleaned because the machine had been broken earlier that day. Again, nothing was offered to me for the inconvenience and no one from the front desk ever offered an apology or any type of compensation! I was just left to deal with a room that I had not chosen and that was extremely dirty! My feet were literally black after walking on the floor for about 3 minutes. I felt bad for the cleaning lady because after cleaning my feet in the bathtub I could not even rinse the black out of the part of the tub that was non-slip.

Double charged for this single room. Told I double booked when booked online but at check in time the attendant said nothing about having booked 2 rooms.

Clean and comfortable

First time ever posting a bad review on any property. We get to the property around 11:30pm. When we check in and go to the assigned room it was completely dirty and looked like people were still staying there as there were bags and food on the table. The night manager tells me that it is the only room available and that there was no one to clean it so I would need to find some other place to stay. He was not helpful and only said that I would be refunded for the night. I was tired and irate at this point. It was almost midnight, and I had to walk with my son with our luggage about a quarter mile to sleep for the night. The next morning, I walk back to the property and ask them for the room. I was then informed that my entire reservation was canceled and a refund issued! I told the person at the service desk that I had a reservation and needed the room. She just told me sorry and that I needed to find somewhere else to stay because someone else had reserved the room and that no rooms were available for the weekend. I called the corporate office irate and was told that the manager would need to solve the issue. I had to call Expedia too because no refund was ever given! Expedia had to call the property directly. I returned and was told that no rooms were available. I told them that I would make a reservation somewhere else, but they would need to pay for it for their mistake. Guess what happened, they gave me the original room! Lots of cockroaches in room! Never stay here!

Inexpensive overnight stay for a nearby event with free breakfast. Very clean room and breakfast was good. Nice to have fridge and microwave and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. Only issue was people talking outside the room at night but would ask for an upstairs room next time.

Booked two rooms for ourselves and daughter with granddaughter. First time staying in this area and wasn’t sure what to expect after hurricane season 2024. Was rather pleasant and very easy to get to after a day at the beach. We just stayed one night so daughter and granddaughter could make it to the airport to fly back to Kentucky.

Too expensive. Only two small garbage cans in the room. Lighting was way too dim.

Very convenient location

I was charged 2 times on my credit card for a one night stay on 3/18. I checked out the next day at 0900 on 3/19. Charged 181.93 and then 189.58. both payments posted on 3/19.
