Room was good. Breakfast was just as expected, not great. Nothing special, I wish they had fresh bananas and more selection of tea. The quality of bread/muffin/bagels are marginal

The shower door would not stay shut and the main door for the bedroom would not latch properly.

On a more positive note, the woman who ran the breakfast buffet was very sweet, professional and hardworking. No matter what else happened, I was always sure I would get a decent breakfast. I wish I had gotten her name to thank her properly because she did an outstanding job.

The beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Had fresh fruit for breakfast. Everything was great! Until I couldn’t shower in the morning because there was no hot water pressure. I was going to a vigil for my near death son in law and I couldn’t shower! I was mortified. The desk attendant was nice and my room fee was refunded.

Wonderful and helpful staff! The property and rooms were very clean and up to date.

Damp musty smell throughout the room. Worn carpet at room entrance door. The room felt very outdated and in need of a complete refresh. The best thing about the hotel is the location. Invest some money in this place and it should pay back quickly.

This was one of the nice hotels we stayed in. We were welcomed immediately and had quick and smooth check in. The bed and pillows were comfortable, linen were clean. Bathroom was nice and clean. Definitely a place to come back to.

We have a huge problem with the billing of these rooms. we reserved 3 rooms under one reservation, and another reservation. So 4 rooms total. Upon arriving at the hotel they only had 2 reservations (2 rooms). The manager was not helpful as these rooms were reserved through Hotels. com. So we rebooked the rooms through The Fairfield Inn. Currently we have been doubled charged for 3 of the rooms. No one to talk to at Hotels. com and the General Manager at the Fairfield Inn has not returned my phone call regarding this manner. NOT HAPPY TO SAY THE LEAST!

DON’T BE FOOLED FOLKS. The pictures are NOT OF THIS FACILITY. This Marriott is a ficade - no different than a Wyndam motel.- BUT 3 times the price. I’d like 2/3rds of my money back.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was very clean both days. Breakfast was amazing, anything you could want. We would use this facility again.

Room was TINY. Shower was dirty. They did not advertise that the property was under renovations.

Booked and paid for a room for my daughter thru Expedia due to her mandatory evacuation for Hurricane Helene. She provided a personal card for incidentals as is normal policy but was charged the full price of the room upon checkout. When contacting the hotel to rectify the situation, she was informed that they would not process a refund until they were able to retrieve the Expedia payment card info that the staff member deleted when she checked in. After contacting the hotel numerous times, as well as Marriott Customer Service, a refund for the correct amount showed as pending in her account yesterday (three FULL weeks after her stay). Today that refund is gone and there is a new refund for $20 which does not come close to the cost of the reservation. She continues to communicate with the hotel, but our patience is at an end. The hotel is nice enough, but I cannot in good conscience recommend that anyone stay there. This whole situation makes me leary of using Expedia in the future given that this incident has still not been resolved.

Clean,good location The latch for our door was broken, kind of makes it unsafe. Needs a deep clean for sure.. Also, the front desk should be trained to know how to take in 3rd party reservations from booking.com.

You charge too much for a pet fee!!

Every person was very understanding about my medical condition and surgery. We also had to take our dog with us due to our dog sitter not being available. I could not postpone surgery. We had a lot of trash for a two night stay so we left $20.00 for the maid and had it all neatly piled for removal. Thank you Fairfield Suites. We will be needinv your hospitality again.

The common areas are clean and presentable. The room has several maintenance issues and lacked standard comforts. The maid service showed up only 1 of our 5 days. Breakfast was fine. Fitness room was very bare bones. Price was fair

House cleaning came everyday but didn’t do the bed was a bit confused. Breakfast could’ve been better. The pool area was clean. Overall place was clean and neat. Happy with the stay!

I checked in the night before and still had to wait 2 hours for my room to be ready. Most of the staff seemed to be new and couldn’t answer basic question.

Way too expensive for the quality.

Elevator didn’t work!!!!!!! I wouldn’t consider that to be a breakfast. The same thing everyday fake bacon and fake scrambled eggs. One day in the whole week we were there did they have something different then they had sausage.

No regards to the requests we had when we did the booking. Elevator out of order …had to carry 5 pieces of luggages down the stairs.

The lobby had a constant sulfur smell. Housekeeping only came once and we had to ask for them to come, even though we requested daily housekeeping.

The front desk staff were all very friendly at this Fairfield Marriott. What was frustrating was that when I arrived, she set up daily room cleaning for my room since I had a baby with me. They cleaned the first day but never saw them again after that. I was gone for the majority of the day each day and when I returned, room still not cleaned. And it’s not like I can just ask them to come clean while I step out, if you’ve traveled with a baby, you’ll understand. The hotel was outdated, the breakfast was meh and so was the coffee which is what I’ve come to expect at these free breakfast hotels. They put the crib in the room as I requested but no sheets and when I asked for some, the lady gave me some bed sheets and said I could ask housekeeping for proper crib sheets when they arrived in an hour (it was already late and past the baby’s bedtime). Overall, they stay wasn’t terrible but it’s def not my first choice.

Nice staff. Not quite a suite. Just a room with a microwave. Microwave was broken. Fridge and coffee maker worked. Not convenient for walking to the major malls even though the distance on a map looks like you could. It is on the other side of major highways and no direct walking routes if you do not rent a car.

Hotel was very nice, however pool area was not maintained. Overgrown weeds, dead plants, and pool and jacuzzi needed a good cleaning.

The hotel was decent, the rooms were as spacious possible and the breakfast was okay. However the front desk crew and the breakfast lady were very friendly.

The staff at this hotel were very helpful, friendly, attentive and helpful. The hotel wasnt dirty, just was a limited with amenities and in need of updates. The room was clean, but in need of updates. Everything was in place and operable, but the door lock was difficult to operate when leaving. The shower curtain was way too short for the shower. The tub drain mechanism was missing. The room had a musty but not overpowering odor. Decent location with limited walkable dining options.

Not your average run of the mill breakfast. Fresh bagels and English muffins, three different styles of eggs, sausage and bacon, Danish, juices, fresh fruit, cut melons, yogurts and of course the make your own waffles. Nice and friendly, relaxed dining experience. Coffee and flavored and water regular water available all day.

The location is perfect if you are spending time in Lakewood Ranch. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are comfortable. The bathrooms need some attention, everything is mounted to high. The shower curtains were too high to keep the water in the tub, they mounted the soap and shampoo on the shower wall with the shower head (should be mounted on the opposite wall) and the soap and shampoo was mounted to high, I could barely reach them.

The place was nice and convenient. My biggest complaint was the air conditioner. Would make a lot of noise. I tried moving to another room but that room wasn’t any better. It at times woke me during the night.

The hotel was clean & located near restaurants & easy access to I-75. But beware - if you make reservations for someone else in your travel party & guarantee it with your credit card, they will charge the room to your credit card when the other party checked in. I even got a manager involved, who said it was fixed, but I still got charged for 5 days of someone else's room. Otherwise, our biggest issue was that there is never anyone at the front desk. No recycle options.

the tub and shower curtain had yellow stains (mildew?) that made these seem unclean. The window in the breakfast area of the lobby was filthy as thought it had not been cleaned in quite a while.

The lady who made the breakfast on Sunday and Monday was amazing and so attentive. She was on top of everything and so clean and precise. Our breakfast was delicious.

the room was small and cramped. one king size bed and one desk chair. watching tv meant going to bed. impossible for two people to work from room at the same time.

to shopping and eating, Requested to extend my stay was not allowed, Worked out however moved to near airport.

Bifold doors on my room closet the hardware was loose but I made the observation at the front desk at the time of chekout .

Corporate will be hearing about this experience so no one ever has to go through this after a long road trip.
