Staff was great , plumbing for toilet and shower not draining too well, Stayed for a night, although they were going through renovations, they should have the lobby with proper air conditioning it was not cooling at all, and the temperature in the fridge was not cooling at all the yogurt,milk and creamers for breakfast definitely should be more on the colder side since it’s dairy . I stayed here a few years ago and it was a similar experience. Thought by now that would have been taken care of .

What saves this hotel from giving 0 star is the people and the service they provide; nice people and very attentive. HOWEVER, the cleaning is terrible as the smell of humidity in the hotel and the room we rented was severe. We entered on Friday night and we left on Sunday morning coughing and feeling awful. At night, already home, we were sick with a bacterial upper respiratory infection. I had fever and chills that Sunday and I couldn’t go to work on Monday. I’m still sick. I’m taking antibiotics and I hope to get better this week. After this experience, I realized that the dirtiness could have been the reason we got sick. We only went to the hotel to sleep. I strongly suggest the staff in the hotel to make a deep cleaning to the carpets. So that people do not get sick as it happened to me. In the meantime, my husband and I decided to download the vrbn application and not to use hotels when traveling.

Check in was fine. Although was at another location the night before and was charged a lot less for the deposit. And they don’t use the same soaps or such across the places. Got to hear someone’s loud stereo till about midnight. And people above stomping around all night. And the shower made the bathroom floor soaked from being in it 8-10 mins. Cheap cloth curtain that didn’t reach the floor. Was only there for the night thankfully.

I purchased this hotel and bought the protection just in case. Even though it doesn’t seem to matter. I purchased this room because it had a jetted tub well when speaking with front desk they did not have any available. I want a full refund as we did not stay due to no jetted tub. I have been waiting for someone to return my phone call since I spoke with front desk. Have not heard a single thing back. I am very disappointed in this. How are you gonna take my money when I didn’t even stay.

Just an older hotel. Needs a lot of upgrades. First room we went to looked like someone had broke in and flipped the mattresses. 2nd room smelled muskey and had a random 8 ft conference table in it. Just very dated. Staff was very nice

The Bradenton Best West is the amazing! Clean amazing staff a bird named Edgar that hangs around outside . It was a great room and a cute pool! Love love loved it

If I could rate this in negative stars I would. It smelled like an animal died in our room (like an actual decaying animal) and was never cleaned out. Staff was not present or available to complain to. Had to leave the room 4 hours before checkout. Woke up to asthma and a rash. Refused to refund after complaining.

Hotel is a bit dated, but it's clean and convenient. The A/C in my room was rattly so that was sort of annoying at night. Breakfast was good. I love the 24 hour complimentary coffee, tea, juice, and water. The pool was super cold but it was clean. The pool furniture is in sad shape though.

Breakfast was amazing! We loved the option to have 24/7 coffee station and hot chocolate. Staff was super kind and the room was spotless and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

The staff was excellent!! The room was awesome! We prefer first floor and that’s where we were. We used the fitness room, it was good. The pool was dirty. No hot tub, disappointed. After our 18 hr drive, I needed it. Stop using powdered eggs. Gross! Could have a better fruit selection and there wasn’t chocolate milk, sad.

This place is disgusting and a total scam. Smelled like cigarette smoke, furniture and bedding were stained, and the walls and doors were literally dirty with grime. We were there for 15 min before leaving to find another place, and the property is refusing a refund (and hasn’t given back the $50 deposit that wasn’t mentioned anywhere until check in). AVOID - Expedia needs to delist this disgusting place.

Super friendly people that work here. Convenient location and with Cracker Barrel right in front, that was awesome. Breakfast is top notch. Nothing cheap, lots of options and hot. Everything tasted great. Room 202, needs the toilet behind it cleaned badly.

The shower's water pressure was practically non-existant. Two lights over the sink/vanity were burned out. Otherwise all was well.

We had a great experience in this place!!! We were in a soccer tournament at IMG Academy, which by the way it’s only 7 min of this place, and it was the BEST THING we could have done!! The rooms were extremely clean, LOVED the smell readiness of housekeeping! The breakfast was a GREAT hot breakfast with everything we would like to eat in the morning, well served! The staff?!? AMAZING STAFF, all of them very caring, attentive and ready to help. We’ve never stayed in a simple hotel like this and had such an amazing experience!

The room was wasnt cleaned properly an hot tub had hair in tub an to full hot tub up will take hours cause wrong water falset... that was main reason i booked. An i called an complained an was told staff would put note in system for manager to call an give details.. no call yet an still no call. Almost a week now

The room was clean, but the fixtures were outdated. There were rust spots on the closet door. The refrigerator hum was noticeable. There was also an odor, like maybe the carpeting is aged.

We book d this because of the large tub, it was falling apart. The spout was practically falling out, no good way to close the bottom to keep water in and it would have taken 5 hours to fill because they have added a water flow restrictor. The pool was another plus when choosing and it was closed when we arrived for maintenance. That was frustrating. The only plus was Julie at the front desk was super nice and helpful. She was great.

I can't complain about the location, it was close to the beaches and restaurants. But the water from the faucet smells very strange. And we have to use the stairs, the elevator wasn't working well. Not other concerns the price was reasonable.

This was room 312. Pool water like hot tub water, very uncomfortable. Other Best westerns we stayed at during the trip had cool refreshing pools and really clean, fresh rooms.

My experience the pool do not look good and clean !! The sofa in my room looks very dirty and the bathroom looks old and dirty.

The first room I was given ... the key didn't work. After lugging around my "stuff" up and down the elevator twice. I was assigned another room. upon opening the door the smell of urine and mildew was overwhelming! Next room was the same pungent odor! A manager was called and I was given a third room. Better, but not great.

Instead came to a horrible hotel. Booked 2 rooms 1st room sheets and comforter were thrown every way with trash all over the place. Smelt like weed and pee. 2nd room someone just took a shower and threw towel on ground and everything else. Went to front desk and they didn’t care, manager didn’t care what so ever either. They shrugged it off and said my bad Horrible place

The room had obvious water damage to the floors throughout and had a strong mildew smell from the time you open the doors. Everything was moist, luckily I was only staying for one night.

Hair in the shower! Bed broken…stained carpet…hot and muggy but said 72. Sandy dirt on sheets!

Also, our key cards had to be redone EVERY TIME we tried to enter the room. That is, they worked when we first got there, but after we left the next morning and returned they didn't work. The man at the counter said this had been happening to everyone. The staff at the front desk was polite and helpful every time.

We had a suit and it was dirty especially the kitchen and when room serves cleaned the room they didn't vacuum the floor i don't believe i will be coming back. I stayed for 6 nights and paid $1400 dollars it was not worth it

Upon arrival, the front desk staff was so welcoming and helpful. They also helped us when we realized our room had a strong cologne odor, and assisted us with checking out another room… which leads us to the next thing: the smells throughout the rooms. When going inside our room, the pungent smell of cologne was the first thing we noticed. We also saw some stains in the corner of the walls behind the beds, on the windowsills, and the tub. I usually carry Lysol/clorox wipes for a quick wipe down of the bathrooms, so I cleaned what I could to make sure my fam would be okay. My husband did go down to ask for the room change, but changed his mind of changing rooms once he entered another. The other had a much worse smell, which was described as “wet dog”, “musty” “pee”. We stayed in what we were (it didn’t smell odd other than cologne) and that was that. Besides that, it was quiet, convenient location, and staff was great. It definitely needs attention, as it is not updated, not modern. TV has the most basic channels, wifi was okay, and breakfast was just alright. There’s a bunch of reviews that say it was a great stay- which why we booked- and I wish I could say it was- but no. Please read the most RECENT reviews!!!

Lean but not kept up very well.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. The moment we walked in the hallway reeked of weed. When we opened the door, it instantly smelled like mold and mildew. There was black mold in the bathroom. And it looked like one of the beds had already been slept in. The deadbolt on the door was completely broken off and we felt unsafe all night. We reached out to both the hotel and Hotels.com for a refund, but we’re unsuccessful. The hotel was fully booked and we cannot get another room.

Neighbors were yelling until 6-7am, couldn’t sleep. The swing lock on the door was broken and the hotel was in a bad neighborhood, giving us concerns all night about someone breaking into the room. Bathroom needed a more thorough cleaning. Halls smelled like animal pee.

Weird smell, roaches in bathroom , low water pressure, food at breakfast I could have knocked someone out with how hard the bagel was! Homeless people walking in parking lot!

Just could not stay in the room, it smelled so bad, like pet urine. Hotel employee agreed it was a problem but said no other rooms were available; he would have refunded the visit but it was not booked through Best Western. I ended up finding another place to stay.

Our room 112 definitely needed some deep cleaning of carpets and the toilet is not sturdy, other than that, it worked out just fine.

Towels super old, tv with problems, cheap everything

This was no way worth $410 for one night. The ratings on expedia were false. The place was filthy, run down and furniture in the room was dirty. Cobwebs hanging in the curtains. I feel like I was robbed by this false advertisement and rating. Shame on this place. I have pictures to provide.

Dirty carpet iny room glass table was not cleaned with child smear marks across it. I had an insect crawl across the bathroom floor while I was trying to relax in the tub. DISGUSTING!! I stayed at less expensive hotels throughout Florida that outshined this property! Do not stay if you can avoid it.

Very disappointed very dirty

Having stayed here previously, our expectations were set and upon arrival we were informed the elevator was out of service and we’d have a room on the third floor. That was only the beginning of the series of unfortunate events…

Booked they hotels.com and hotel would not honor reservation. Took an hour between multiple staff and a manager and two hotels.com reps before they finally gave me the room I paid for back in August. Hotels.com and the hotel itself didn't offer an apology or any kind of credit for the hastle they put me through.

I appreciate the hospitality of the residential property. They made me feel welcomed.

Julie at the front desk gets an excellent review from us for going above and beyond to make sure any issues were handled expeditiously and professionally. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the check-in and check-out processes were easy.

This hotel is very old and not well kept. Room smelled musty. Had no cable and no guide or anything so had to just pick a random channel and hope it had something good to watch. Teeny tiny shampoo and conditioner and 2 towels for 3 people. Coffee machine did not work and asked for a new one and was ignore.

We booked the hotel due to Hurricane Milton and it is no wonder it was the only one available. The place was so dirty that walking from the bathroom to the bed resulted in black feet. This was not due to the storm.

We stayed post Helene and the staff went out of their way to accommodate those with needs. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was a plus.

When we arrived we were assigned a room that had a very moldy smell. They swapped us to a room that had very loud guest. Note, All rooms had an adjoining room with a locked door between them. The neighbors were up and loud until 11 pm, then they awoke us at 6 am screaming at each other. And lastly gnats in the room, in the hallway and in the dining area.

Had a good time & made some friendships that can weather the storm. Close parking to entrance doors!

Room was a nice size, everything was clean and the breakfast was good! AC in the room was pretty loud, but kept the room cold. Front desk had another room ready for me if the unit was too loud for the night. Stayed here for two nights while family stayed on Anna Maria Island! Easy drive to the beach, will definitely stay again. Nothing negative about the hotel at all.

No idea why there are bad ratings. I had a beautiful room that was probably remodeled. I thought the entire place looked amazing. Not the best location in terms of finding it, but close to restaurants.

Sadly, there’s always people that litter and they left a bag of garbage outside our door, but we did tell the receptionist at the lobby She even apologized for them and said she would take care of it. The girl at the lobby was awesome. She was very helpful with our questions and very polite. of it overall we had a good stay!!

The A/C units in the room are old and noisy. The noises kept me up all night and I did not get a good night’s rest. However the staff were very polite and professional. It is not their fault that the condition of the A/C units have not been updated. The towels were also old and dingy.

This is exactly what i expected for the price. Staff was very friendly, some things needed repair and it looked like they were working on it, breakfast was decent (although they did regulary start cleaning up the breakfast area 15 minutes early). Pool needs some shade it otherwise great to use.

I stayed 1 night, check in was super easy since my reservation was already paid for girl at the front desk was nice the hotel is behind a Cracker Barrel off a Main Street there is plenty places to eat around now the room had a smell like mold maybe the old carpet IDK , a/c made a squicky noise the whole night. Bathroom smelled better than the room itself !!! Comfy bed , pillows ehh can’t complain mine are not the best lol elevator smelled like wet dog. I slept til 10:30 lol so no time for breakfast. I mean it was not cheap but it was a holiday weekend. I don’t see myself staying here again.

Check in was smooth, dead roach on the floor, tv had a seizure inducing picture. Requested a replacemen tv twice Friday and Saturday with no results. Coffee maker in the room was broken and was told they don't have a replacement for it. Bed was comfy but the pillows are too small. Breakfast was delicious, real eggs not instant, no oj only apple and cranberry juice.

It’s an old hotel and needs renovation but the staff is nice and friendly, they property was was clean, but it’s in needs of a renovation, it’s very convenient all the stores and restaurants are closed to the property I wish they can do a renovation cause the price is a little bit high for damage

I’ll admit, check in wasn’t so great. The lobby was very smelly and the staff seemed disorganized. However, the purpose of my trip was to get reconstructive breast surgery after a double mastectomy over at the Blake Hospital. The hotel was very conveniently located only two miles away. In addition, when returning to the hotel, it was very difficult for me to walk. The hotel provide a wheelchair for me which was a life saver.

I don't like spending too much money on hotel rooms. I'm the kind of traveler that just uses it as a place to leave the bags and sleep. Best Western are great for that. Basic clean rooms, basic amenities and basic comfort.

My husband and I booked our room last minute, my first impression when walking in was how dirty the guy at front desk was. Then stained sheets and dirty bathroom got me. Disappointed cause my Mom and I used to stay in Best Western hotels when over the years, they used to be so nice!
