I had mold and mildew in my room, AC wasn’t working thermostat missing from the wall and it smelled horrible in my room. I was told I could get a refund but not they won’t respond. Just an overall horrible experience

The hotel is in need of repairs. Broken tiles on the floor, peeling paint on the ceiling, and wires hanging outside the building, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed to change rooms for my elderly mother to a handicap room and they were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was fine. Normal hotel hot breakfast.

• Overhang canopy at the main entrance has electrical wires hanging that come in contact with delivery vehicles as they go under it’s very scary that a wire can actually hang on on a delivery vehicle and pull part of the ceiling down. I watch a UPS truck go through and the wire is just dragged across the top of the truck not acceptable. • round dining tables in the dining room had tops that way upwards to 30 pounds on a small base that were not properly attached. They have been glued together with the wrong epoxy or glue and they pose a hazard. They had notes on them that say do not use little kids can’t read notes on top of a table. The table tilted myself in another guest, save hot coffee from being spilt that was placed by someone who didn’t have the literacy to read. As a result, I took the tops off of the table and move them to a safe corner of the room, and move the basis to a safe area in the room so thus they would not pull a danger falling on anyone. • the light in my bathroom did not work. The staff was courteous enough to move me to a different room the second day of my day. • air conditions and air quality in the rooms are terrible the air units smell, possibly the filters, possibly the smell trapped in the carpet for moisture under the unit • floor tile tiles in the main lobby behind the television wall are loose and movable.

Ceiling falling apart in many common areas around property. A man with shower bonnet jumped out of his parked suspicious tinted window vehicle in the back of the parking lot on a sunny Friday morning at 9am and screamed at me to get my leashed calm dog away from his car. Extremely threatening and scary. Many vulgar words. I felt the front desk clerk had too much of an attitude to not offer any meaningful assistance. Will not stay here again

Food was good, nice bed! Phones didn’t work—had to text everything. Leak in roof of eating area. Staff was very nice-it’s upkeep that wasn’t aware. I wouldn’t stay here again!

Room freshening/ cleaning was pretty spotty. Front desk staff were very accommodating. Only problem we experienced was a very noisy and boisterous group of high school students banging on doors, yelling and running. But after we spoke to their chaperones, this was no longer a problem.

We checked in late in the evening on 4/17. The individual staffing the front desk was super pleasant and exceptionally helpful with a special request. Beds are very hard. Would like sugar free/low carb options for breakfast.

Staff was nice. Location was perfect, really enjoyed the flavored waffles for breakfast. And they had to go breakfast bags if you needed breakfast on the go which I thought was great. We asked for a king room, and upon arrival received a room two queen size beds instead because she said there weren’t any king rooms available but I never received any info that the room wasn’t available until I arrived and we checked in. When asked would it be cheaper since they didn’t have the room we booked staff said no it’s the same price which I’m not understanding how , that was the only concern.

We endured a frustrating wait of over 20 minutes at the front desk to check in. As we were about to give up, some customers passing by informed us that the receptionist was occupied somewhere upstairs. Despite our attempts to call the number provided in our reservation, the front desk phone rang, but unfortunately, or as expected, no one answered. The air conditioning was extremely noisy, making it difficult to fall asleep.

Many tiles in our room we’re coming up specially ones in the bathroom where I almost cracked my toe open, the room is very decent except for the tiles which do need to be put back down you can tell that some of them are very loose and need to be resealed

There was also a strong sewer-like odor throughout the first floor, which we were told was related to a grease trap, though the smell was still unpleasant. When we followed up, we were offered 5,000 points instead of a refund, which does not reflect the value of a night’s stay. This experience did not align with the Hilton brand’s 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Disappointing overall.

Nothing The keys were not working in 318, the first room I was at - the door to 318 did not open. I was in the same cycle for 30 to 45 minutes. I can’t recall her name but when I see her again - I will know her face. She was short about 5’4, heavy set and had glasses with brown/blonde braids in a bun - her service and attitude was horrid. There was no real incentive for wasted time, unworkable keys - a water and nasty cookies wasn’t it that she pushed in my face. I asked for a room on the 1st floor 146, room looked unkept, hair was everywhere (more in the sink and tub), the shower water pressure and valve need maintenance. Just an overall, terrible experience. I decline going any further

The bathtub floor was cracked on the inside of the tub, the shower handle was broken. Also the soap dispenser in the shower had 2/3 pumps hanging, the other was sitting on the ground. Also a lot of rust inside the bathroom. The tub grossed me out, it was disappointing to not feel comfortable in the bathroom.

They need to work on this property, most of the lights showing the hotel was out, the bath faucet had more water coming out of it than the shower head, the other room the heat didn’t work, at breakfast today they had no more plates only bowls when we got down to eat about half before they finished.

didn't I like it at all it's overrated the rooms are not that nice it's dark no parking only valet parking rooms the rooms wasn't that clean had to ask him to change the sheets no pool no no condiments one small little coffee area I would never go back there again it remind me of being in budget End way too expensive for the service that you don't get no free breakfast nothing it sucks

Our check in was not a good one! Our room wasnt ready at 3:00, like we were told it would be, so we had to wait in a lobby with no ac for an hour. Myself and my wife were very disappointed. We had an event to be at around 5:00 pm .

This was probably my last time staying at this hotel. The hotel pool wasn't clean. The hotel lobby area had this bad smell that I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. The room was outdated. I love the location. It is 5 minutes away from shopping and restaurants.

Check in was great , the staff was great. The bathroom in my room had dual shower heads. The main shower head was the mobile shower head. The holder had grime in it as if it doesn’t get cleaned. The built in soap dish had some grime on it as well. The wall mounted shower head had a leak, the bathroom floor was wet when u walked in the room and the floor has to be covered in hang towels to keep it dry.

For a five night stay they should at least have the rooms cleaned just one day during the stay. It got so bad that trash started to pile up. Also other visitors had no other option but to leave their trash outside of their hotel rooms. Additionally, there was more trash on the floor next to trash cans. The trash cans were piled up full to the top so guests had to leave third bags of trash on the floor.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn, Bowie, MD from June 28 to my birthday June 30th. Unpleasant stay. Hotel not safe, dirty, staff uncaring, and someone vandalized my daughter’s car. Only one working elevator which shakes and drops, ceiling tiles in lobby has mold, not heat in the lobby, debris floating in pool, lamp cracked, dirty vent in room, dirt and dust behind night stand. I told them before booking that I had bad Allergies and afraid of animals and was told that animals were only housed on the first floor, but a big dog got on the elevator heading to the third floor with his owner, and I was cornered in the elevator when he got on. I would bypass this hotel if I were you and find another clean, and reputable hotel where people really care about your health and well-being. Thanks for giving me a bad birthday weekend experience.

I drove in from Ct to attend a famly members Homegoing, The directions to the Inn were on point, our check in was very easy,Janio had a great personality, location was perfect to my destinations we were able to walk to have dinner with our other family members at Jerry's Seafood, rooms were very clean, I found that as a short person it was hard to adjust the shower head! The water was a little to hot!. Upon check out the older woman with glasses at the desk was sweet very knowlwdgeable when wating on other guest, Breakfast was very good nice and clean. Having such a nice place to stay and rest made our journey to Woody's homegoing peaceful!

IT WAS NICE BEING 15 MINUTES TO EVERYTHING. CHECKING IN WAS A MISSION THE GUY AT THE FRONT WAS OK BUT THE LADY IN HOUSE KEEPING LITERALLY USED HER KEY TO GET INTO MY ROOM AS I WAS GETTING OUT THE BED.

Stay was fine. Had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk for check in, but they were very polite once they arrived. Rooms are fine. Bathrooms are outdated but room looked clean, overall. No issues with parking. Biggest turn off was the smell of sewage that was sooo strong by the elevators. Made eating breakfast there very unappealing.

Very quiet, clean hotel. Breakfast and coffee was good (really enjoyed the seasonal pumpkin waffle mix!) This hotel is also a 10-15 minute drive to a WMATA station and then a 30-40 ride to the National Mall in DC, which is why I originally chose this hotel. This hotel is also a wonderful little crash pad near a shopping center.

Easy check-in with friendly personnel. The room was clean and comfortable and there was a lovely area with a pathway away from the hotel and main roads for pet exercise. Always a perk going to the Hampton with a complementary breakfast so you can just grab-and-go.

Drove to Maryland from West Virginia to take my kids to six flags. Stayed at this hotel after our 4 hour drive. It looked very nice and the property and facilities were very clean. We swam in the pool and the water was perfect temperature and felt great after a long drive. The front desk was very courteous. Our room was nice and clean and cool when we arrived and Our beds were very comfortable. What was also very neat was if you downloaded the Hilton app you can do conctless check in and out and you get a digital key! ( It's been a long time since I've traveled, so I don't know how long this has been a thing lol) before we left we had breakfast, which was included with our stay and it was very good with a lot of options. We felt nice and energized for our trip to six flags. I definitely recommend staying here!

I came earlier to ask for an early check-in. The lady was so rude that I did not want to fight because I was nearly sleeping. She was an old lady at the front desk around 10:00 a.m. I always stay at the Hilton because of the service, but this is the worst place to visit.

Unprofessionally, dismissive staff. Place smells moldy and wet as soon as you open the door. Sticky Floor, tub did not drain, no hot water in shower. They charged me an extra day even after they agreed affirmatively to a late check out. They are thieves.

This was a short 2 night stay and this hotel is our favorite place to stay whenever we visit the DC area. Our room was ready when we arrived, the front desk staff are excellent and the room was clean and very comfortable. We greatly appreciate breakfast in the morning with coffee and tea available all day. We see that the hotel is undergoing some renovations and we look forward to how nice it will be once completed. We look forward to our next trip to the area and staying at this hotel again.
