Nice staff, quiet area, comfortable room.

We did not have any interaction with staff other than to check in - that process was very quick and smooth. We didn’t use any amenities. The hotel is located in the historic district and was very nice to walk around.

This is a beautiful place, very charming. Close to everything in the downtown district. Staff super helpful and nice. Beds are extremely comfortable. Definitely will come back.

Despite my first thoughts, the bed was really comfy and the aircon & ceiling fan worked well.

Beautifully maintained historical hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and return.

We loved the location and the wonderful free museum on the first floor. The only thing I didn't like was that we couldn't stay longer!

Nice historic hotel, nice job of updating things like new TV, nice fans, nice installation of a/c. Understand that it is a historical hotel, so rooms at small. If you stay make sure you take the history walk, the hotel has a museum in it to

I had an amazing experience in Boulder. The hotel was comfortable and well accessible to the city just outside.
- 5/5
Great vibe. At night we sat outside (on the front patio) and listened to the band playing at the brewery from across the street. Also listened to music in the lounge downstairs! Very walkable to town center with shops, bars, and eateries. We walked the town using the APP which includes a nice overlook view of Lake Mead. Boulder Museum that is located at the Hotel is very informative and engaging. We kayaked in the Black Canyon and Boulder Hotel was a perfect location to stay to get to the water (30-ish min.).

Everything. Quietest AC in all hotles i'v been in US.
- 4/5
Nicely renovated old-style hotel in a great location.
- 5/5
Clean comfortable room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Convenient location in Boulder City. Restaurant on site. Museum on site. Small hotel charm. Still has actual key to enter room. Will stay there again whenever I am in the area.

This was a very quaint hotel. We were very impressed with the museum attached to it. It gave us a very good education about the Hoover Dam

Style, location, staff. I would have preferred the restaurant open earlier; however, it’s a very good restaurant and not a issue.

Great place to stay to visit both the Hoover dam and also Las vegas. Rooms were well kept , extremely clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the restaurant was very good. Plenty of local places to get food in the evening. It's a short 30 min drive to Vegas, and about 15 minutes to Hoover Dam

Good bed and pretty good pillows--4 of them. Great location in downtown Boulder City. Older historic hotel--I'd guess built when they were building the Boulder Dam. TV was hung too high, shower was dark and the bathroom fan and light were in the same switch.

Older property right downtown. Convenient location. Small room and bathroom, but quiet and comfortable. No coffee in room. Had coffee available in a nearby room after 5 PM. Would have liked a cup of tea earlier in the afternoon after check in.

Room was nice and comfortable. AC worked great. Hotel itself is really cool and clean. But the man they had on staff for the night shift was super rude. Because of him, I may never stay again. Otherwise I would go back.

No soap on the shower dispenser, but everything else was adequate. Good value.

Air conditioning was excellent. Staff was pleasant. Room was clean. Did not patronize the bar but looked in on it and it looked pretty nice.
- 5/5
It's an older hotel, but they have definitely maintained it very well. Great speakeasy downstairs with entertainment. We also had a great breakfast in they're restaurant this morning. The staff was very friendly, and helpful.

Great location. Boulder City, NV has a lot of charm. The hotel’s restaurant had lots of choices for breakfast. The hotel staff were very pleasant. The room needs updating. Bathroom with the smallest shower. Mattress was like hard foam. Pillows were not comfortable.

Great location Parking is difficult on weekends. Poor soundproofing (could hear the next door guest snoring.)

Nice period hotel in the city center. Room was appropriately sized for a 100 year old hotel, clean and comfortable with the amenities you expect. Room has both a ceiling fan (a plus) and air conditioner. Enjoyed the basement bar with some live Sinatra, maybe a little too much. Hotel is in a pleasant area with restaurants, antique stores, coffee, and bars within a 5 minute walk. Will definitely come back.
- 3/5
The room was historic. Bathroom door was a little tight. Good pressure in shower. Air conditioning was good. Very convenient to local eating. Town has a nice art walk with sculptures every few yards.

- 4/5
Loved the atmosphere of the inn… historic! Fireplace lounge in lobby. Loved their museum on site- free- don’t miss, especially the film. I found it more interesting and informative than the one at the Dam! Restaurant closed for a wedding the night we came but good food walkable in this cute little town.
- 5/5
Beautiful historical hotel. It has a museum, speak easy (closed on Wednesdays), and a good coffee available all day long. Centrally located from multiple restaurants, bars, and antique shops.
- 4/5
Comfortable memory foam mattress, very clean, historically themed. Good hot shower and water pressure. Lovely property and museum worth visiting, there’s a different perspective compared to the museum at the dam. I wish I had more time here, but it was a short one night stop between long driving days and was out early. I think this place is best enjoyed if you aren’t needing to be up early or in a rush the next day. Only 15 min from Hoover dam. I have mixed feelings about this property. I recommend it, but would suggest researching local events first and bring earplugs just in case. I stayed on a busy Saturday and didn’t realize there’d be multiple events running late. I had a room facing the main parking lot and a dive bar. There was a late night concert that was very, very loud (loud enough that ear plugs won’t work) with drunk people, some of which stumbled through the hall after to their rooms. The walls are also quite thin - I could hear people too clearly talking and their “activities.” But by about 11-11:30, things did settle down quite a bit, it was just stressful because I had an early start the next day.

Historic old hotel is a charming city. We've stayed before and will stay again. But the hotel could improve upon their front desk staff. We had to wait about 20 minutes to check in while the clerk figured out a problem with the reservation of the person ahead of us. A quick call to her mgr sooner in the process could have/should have been made. While she indicated to us that she was on 'hold' 20 minutes is excessively long for us to wait. front desk staff is the only staff we ever see during our stay although a housekeeper did say hello in the hallway.

Historic building is remarkable. Furnishings look beautiful. Free parking is a good feature. Very good and quiet location. Room 219 is a one BR suite. It is very spacious, except for the closet sized bathroom. That information did not appear in the room description. The couch in the living room was only loveseat size. The bed was much too firm for me. Considering this unit has a kitchenette of sorts, it was unacceptable that there were no dishes or utensils stocked in the room.

Easy to find, park and check in. Close to many places to eat, shop or just walk. Plenty of coffee in the morning and very friendly staff.
- 5/5
Clean quiet and quaint.
- 4/5
Historical building was beautiful, AC was nice. Loved the deep, soaker bath tub.
- 5/5
The location was perfect, the coffee was local, the front desk staff were helpful. The hotel is a blend of history and culture with the short film headquarters, Boulder Dam Museum, and art guild on the first floor.
- 4/5
This restored hotel is lovely. It had the cleanest bathroom I have ever seen. It is historic...so know that. Small shower, low lighting. Looks like original door hardware. It does have an elevator. There is a restaurant on site but was disappointing. Museum on site which held so much information about the dam. It is walkable to so much. The downside for me is it is close to bars so there was loud music in the evening/night.
- 5/5
Clean room, quiet, comfy bed. Perfect for a visit to Hoover dam.
- 4/5
We arrived and were greeted with a friendly face. She was excited for us to visit and let us know about the museum in the hotel. We had a great experience. There were a lot of places to go eat that were within walking distance also.
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfy. Perfect location The bed was a little too hard.
- 5/5
I had a breakfast meal at the Boulder Dam Hotel. I chose the pancakes with Blueberrys. My waiter was named Hailey and she was very courteous and professional. I had stayed there before which is why I booked my reservation there again. In my future trips to Boulder City I will always stay at the historic Boulder Dam Hotel. Nothing to say here but to repeat that my stay was wonderful.

Historic building that was very clean Good location to stores and restaurants Free coffee was offered. Some muffins would have been nice

Parking. The person checking us in was a bit grumpy. Breakfast could have been free in the hotel 's restaurant.

Room was small but clean and cozy with retro historic touches. Double split in room allows for heating or cooling preferences. Lovely historic lobby with throwback radio music softly heard.

Positive: Nice building in a lovely area, A/C, fridge Negative: Bathrooms are tiny: hard to find place for toiletries. I would not particularly recommend their on-site restaurant

The historical hotel was beautiful and restored thoughtfully. The staff was phenomenal and the rooms very comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious steak dinner in the hotel’s restaurant where both the food and staff were excellent. The museum of Hoover Dam is so well-done! And location: A+! There was nothing we didn’t like.
- 4/5
The building itself and the main thoroughfare it was near were fine; in fact, if I have a chance to return to their main street to look at the shops and restaurants, I will. The woman at the front desk at my check-in had no personality but was courteous enough. The soap dispenser in my shower either didn't have soap, or the dispenser wasn't working properly, which made showering a problem. The museum about the building of the dam was neat, and the self-guided tour throughout the town was very informative.

The outstanding element of my stay at the Boulder Dam Hotel was the beautiful vintage character of the hotel itself. It evoked feelings of a bygone era. It was super central to everything in Boulder Dam and I loved the on site museum.

Historic hotel right in downtown Boulder City but it is VERY noisy. I hardly got any sleep the night I stayed. Since it’s an old building, the sound proofing isn’t great and I heard every movement of the other guests (everyone stays on the second floor). Walking distance to many things and free parking, but I am not sure I would stay again unless I had ear plugs and a noise machine.

Great afternoon service at the front desk. She was Helpful, polite, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Room was clean. Great breakfast. Things to work on: Better signage about restaurant and lounge hours. Morning desk person acknowledging and greeting clients coming down in the morning. I suggest a coffee maker in the room. Also I understand this is an older building but the room definitely had an older musty smell.

Nice historic inn. Standard rooms are small as we expected. Get a bigger one if that matters. Lots of walkable restaurants with good food. Great breakfast at the hotel restaurant in the morning.

The room is clean. The beds are extremely hard. The ambience is good as it is an older hotel.

Very historic and quaint, with charm and dignity of an old antique. Very small bathroom but bed was comfortable and location was fabulous.

Great old hotel! Prices very reasonable. Rest right across the street.
- 5/5
Very kool place enjoyed our stay
- 5/5
Fit our needs perfectly. Old, but well maintained and clean. Historic, with beautiful staircase. The bathroom is very small, which could be a problem for some. Great location!!!
- 5/5
Would definitely recommend if your looking for a nice experience in a small town
- 5/5
It was an adorable place
- 4/5
The air conditioning worked well, keeping the room comfortable, though it occasionally made a soft rumble or whistle. The bed was a highlight—medium-firm with soft cotton linens and plenty of fluffy pillows, making for a restful night’s sleep. The on-site restaurant and lounge added to the overall charm, creating a memorable experience in this lovely piece of history.
- 5/5
Receptionist very nice and helpful, quick check in. Hotel Love the location and local restaurants and shop.
- 5/5
Rooms are small, quaint, historic and clean. Comp coffee. Great quiet stay away from Las Vegas. What more can you want? Also lively on Sat and Sun
- 4/5
Neat nostalgic property that fits in nicely with surrounding area history. Very well pleased!
- 5/5
quaint little spot in the middle of downtown with several brewery/food options nearby
- 5/5
everything was great
- 5/5
Absolutely fabulous stay, although coffee maker would be good in the kitchen area.
- 5/5
Love this place !! Will Def be back
- 5/5
Boulder City is a very nice place to visit. This hotel was great! Clean room and comfortable bed. Great location to all of the restaurants and shops. Only 14 minutes from the dam.
- 5/5
Classic, historic
- 5/5
The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant. The speakeasy was so much fun. The rooms are clean. There are several food options within walking distance.
- 5/5
Nice historic hotel. The museum is quite interesting to visit.
- 4/5
The hotel was anazing. Restaurant 1933 had excellent food, the bar downstairs had live music and great service. Walking distance to other great food and shops.
- 5/5
Great free museum and good restaurant, authentic historic hotel.
- 5/5
As a hotel owner myself, I can really recommend this hotel. Also for people I want to do things in Las Vegas, it’s just a 30 minute drive, and it’s absolutely worth it.
- 5/5
The rooms are not huge but we weren’t there to stay in our room. We wanted a room where we could walk to the bars and restaurants.
- 5/5
Great room for the price point. Easy check in/out. Nice bed and pillows. Will definitely stay again if I'm ever in the area and need a room
- 5/5
Absolutely love this quaint hotel and the museum on the first floor. Lots of food options nearby and easy parking-lived yhe sushi restaurant behind it.
- 5/5
This is an older historic hotel, very charming with a 1930’s vibe. It is in the historic district of Boulder City with many places to dine and get coffee within walking distance if you do not use the restaurant on site.
- 4/5
Cute historic hotel in historic downtown Boulder City. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We enjoyed the museum about the history of Hoover Dam on the 2nd floor. We were disappointed that the restaurant was only open on the weekends.
- 4/5
Only complaint is the bed was like a slab of concrete. It’s definitely an old place so don’t expect a fitness center or pool. It’s a cool place. I was also a little disappointed that the museum wasn’t open even though it was past 7am when it said it was.
- 5/5
The perfect stay!!!!
- 5/5
This hotel is walkable to shopping and different eateries. The rooms are upgraded nicely for it being a historic building. We had dinner twice in the Restaurant 1933 located off the lobby. Hotel and restaurant staff were friendly and cordial.
- 5/5
Very nice staff, clean and safe. If any, only thing was the old carpet smell at the entrance, other than that had a lovely stay
- 4/5
Historic, charming, simple, clean.....unique....great little hotel.
- 1/5
I unplugged everything and noise continue to go off every 15 minutes all night long, at 6:30 no coffee and no one at the front desk! I will not return to this hotel!
- 4/5
Really nice staff! Very professional! Really liked the nostalgia!
- 5/5
Very quiet peaceful.
- 4/5
Beautiful hotel and good location. The walls were thin, but it was mostly quiet during my time there
- 5/5
The price was very reasonable. We were pleased that for the price, it met our needs and did not disappoint!
- 4/5
We've been staying at this great historic hotel for 13 years, and just love the place. However, it seems the mattress in room 206 needs to be replaced. It is so worn in the center that it's impossible to sleep comfortably. Feet end up higher than head, and can't easily get out of the bed as the sides are higher than the middle. Otherwise, as always, we totally enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Classic
- 5/5
This is a lovely part of history and a must see. I’m having a cocktail at the bar with live entertainment .
- 5/5
This is a hidden gem!
- 3/5
Room was nice old style-1933 BUT I had requested first floor ADA room, and was not informed that was not available ahead of time. Also advertised restaurant on premises but it was not open after 2pm for lunch, or for dinner on Thursday night and not open until 8AM in morning-Ridiculously inconvenient time schedule for travelers.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, amazing history. Loved this place.
- 5/5
Very friendly atmosphere. Evening entertainment was a pleasure.
- 4/5
Great hotel and I'd stay again. Needs a little maintenance especially the front door .
- 5/5
Beautiful 1930s era hotel. On-site restaurant, bar with live music, museum. Wonderful decor. Extremely clean. Staff were extraordinarily attentive, courteous, and friendly. On-site parking. Will stay again whenever we can.
- 4/5
I was thirsty and had to go off property to get something to drink due to no vending machines which was a bit inconvienent . Overall I would stay there again.
- 5/5
Loved the decor. Very confortable room and wonderful and knowledgeable staff!
- 5/5
Loved staying at this historic hotel. Staff was friendly and rooms were clean.
- 5/5
Awesome historic hotel. Super clean. Close to everything
- 5/5
Lovely historic hotel. Comfortable room. Particularly enjoyed be able to make tea/coffee at any time between 5-10 am and pm.
- 5/5
It is a great surprise so we landed it at this hotel. Had a great stay,
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
There was no coffee maker or microwave in my room, but there was a mini fridge, in the closet...I didnt find this to be detrimental to the stay at all, as there is a restaurant and a speak easy right at the hotel. Really nice area located right around the Hotel, and plenty of places in easy walking distances.
- 5/5
It is a perfect replica of the 1920's or 1930's. Nice town also. They also have nice shows in the lounge at night.
- 1/5
I had a terrible stay and so did my husband. The place is noisy throughout the night and we kept waking up, because the walls are so thin, you can hear one neighbor snore and the other neighbor's TV. The bed is a memory foam mattress and very hard. Not everyone's forte. I kept waking up from a foul smell like rotten eggs all night. Thankfully we only stayed one night.
- 5/5
Super friendly and accommodating! Loved the historic atmosphere and on site museum of Hoover dam! Very clean and quiet! I would definitely recommend, especially for adults.
- 5/5
Very comfortable & clean historic hotel! Great staff & perfect location!
- 5/5
Though the rooms could use some minor maintenance, overall we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was great at the restaurant, the Boulder/Hoover Dam museum onsite was very interesting, and service was very good.
- 4/5
Beautiful old hotel. Room is small compared to newer hotels, but big enough. Lots of dining options locally and a Hoover Dam museum in the hotel!
- 5/5
Great older place with a nice museum and restaurant. Rooms were classic w key entry. Bed was hard as a rock.
- 5/5
Set in the beautiful Boulder City, This hotel has everything you could need and more. It was great to stay in an original hotel & not part of some chain. The service was excellent location was amazing a true gem so close to the hoover Damm too. Would definitely recommend
- 5/5
It has an outstanding staff and the accommodations we great
- 5/5
It is a very unique historical building. I loved it
- 4/5
Good old city, good old place
- 2/5
Booked for 3 nights. Room was ok upon check in. We left early on 2nd day for the Grand Canyon. Spent a night in the GCNP. We returned on day 3 around 3pm. Our room had received zero housekeeping. Bed unmade, wastebaskets not emptied, towels not changed. I had to go to the desk to ask for fresh towels. We checked out on day 4. No housekeeping during our 3 night stay.
- 5/5
Just a Great Old School type of hotel.
- 5/5
Provided everything we required for our visit
- 4/5
Stay here if you like a beautiful historic hotel but don’t expect modern amenities. The rooms and bathrooms are very small and not particularly comfortable. The lobbies are beautiful and the rooms are clean. The staff were polite but not particularly friendly.
- 5/5
Absolutely great!
- 5/5
We liked the history of it including the on-site museum. We were impressed with the clean city of Boulder with shops & statues along walks. It was very convenient to everything we wanted to do including Hoover Dam.
- 5/5
Highly recommend!!
- 5/5
Nice vintage hotel. If you want to stay in a historic hotel, this would be enjoyable
- 4/5
The hotel has been nicely refurbished. The museum in the hotel about the Hoover Dam is well worth seeing, and in fact at the moment is the best exhibition of the history and construction of the dam, as the exhibition at the dam itself is currently closed for renovation.
- 4/5
The hotel is lovely and historic. The accommodations are a bit on the small side, especially the bathroom, but our room felt cozy and clean. Parking was super easy and the staff was very friendly. The location is fantastic for walking around Boulder City.
- 5/5
Great as usual
- 3/5
nice place and quiet ,
- 5/5
We stayed there after seeing the Hoover dam, so we weren’t there to shop, although, the area around the hotel was very walkable, and there were numerous shops, antique stores, and restaurants. We greatly enjoyed our stay there. The room was very clean, quiet, and wonderful!!
- 4/5
Well cared for historic rooms in a beauiful old hotel in historic boulder city, home of hoover dam. Plenty of good restaurants in town, a bar in bamt of hotel. Can dine outside on patio. A charming place in a chaRming nevada town..
- 5/5
Great place to stay. The staff was exceptional and very helpful. The front desk staff really made us feel special. Nice room and cool bar downstairs. Overall great experience!
- 5/5
Great place to stay when in Boulder City love this historical hotel
- 5/5
The room I stayed in was clean and a throwback with a rotary phone. If you are looking for a more modern hotel this is not the spot for you. For those you appreciate the simplicity of the past.
- 5/5
This place is a unique opportunity if you intend to visit the Hoover Dam. The museum inside the hotel is fantastic and gives a great insight into the building of the dam. Add to that the sense of history you feel in the hotel but with modern facilities. The town is great with some nice local bars, places to eat and a wonderful supermarket selling take out food. The staff were super helpful. Don’t stay at one of the modern motels if you can stay here.
- 4/5
Lobby/hall areas had a sewage/septic smell
- 5/5
Always very delightful. Takes you back in time.
- 4/5
Very convenient location before or after a visit to Hoover Dam and surrounding activities. Multiple restaurants, including the restaurant in the hotel, only a few minutes away from your room. We enjoy staying in historic hotels and ignore the few inconveniences and quirks that you will encounter. This was the first time that we stayed in a hotel that also housed a museum, very interesting. The bed had a memory foam mattress that doesn't work for us, but I know other people enjoy their comfort.
- 5/5
From the charming lobby, to all the art deco details in the halls, and the decor in our incredible “Carole Lombard” suite, the hotel attends to all the details.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and a great location. Its situated in the historic part of town and it's a very walkable.
- 5/5
Nice comfortable restored hotel. Very relaxing,
- 3/5
Great location but small rooms.
