    My stay at Sonesta was OK, my check-in was great. when I got to my room, the room was a little outdated (dull) compared to the pictures on Expedia. The rooms need a little fresh new look but overall, my stay was good.

    Everything’s great for a decently priced single room for 3 nights; location’s great for being next to Town Center Boca Raton. However, house keeping does not change trash, does not change bed linens and does not provide new towels unless asked at front desk. Front desk receptionist said their policy is that housekeeping changes linen, towels and takes out trash once a week during a guests’ stay. So we did not have our bed linen changed and trash bags were taken out but did not replace them within that 3 day stay. Other than that, fair hotel

    Stayed on 1st floor close to pool access which was nice. Great pool, and hot tub, when the hot tub was clean. Had some issues the one day with stuff floating in it. The pool was clean, and water felt great. Only issues is the ice machine close to our room didn't work, had to go all the way to the 3rd floor to get ice. The other issue there was no complimentary breakfast. A tiny box of cereal for example was $4.00. No coffee available at any time of day, only in the morning. So we ended up going out every day for breakfast because prices there were too high. The room was good, great price for the room. Overall the room was clean, just the tv, and bed was awkward because the tv was off to the left side of the bed. Since you don't spend a lot of time in your room it doesn't matter much, but I just wanted to mention it for other guests.

    Room cleaning only on request would be understandable if basic supplies were properly maintained. We stayed 4 nights with 4 people and had to repeatedly ask for extra towels, coffee pods, trash removal, and supplies. Shower gel ran out on day 3, and shampoo barely lasted the stay. Since breakfast was not included, we had food and takeout in the room, so trash accumulated quickly. The level of cost-cutting felt very excessive and negatively affected the overall experience.

    Other than the location, there was not much to like. The hotel was generally terrible and poorly maintained. The rooms were not clean at all, and the bathroom was in very bad condition hygienically. The coffee machine in the room was not working. The atmosphere was also uncomfortable; someone was walking around the lobby with a pitbull, which felt unsafe and disturbing. Overall, there were a lot of sketchy people around and we did not feel comfortable during our stay.

    Well l forgot my make up bag in My room 445 It's a special black bag was giving by my mother. I called a few rimes and the operator or the stuff were ignored and not helpful at all . Right away they answer me no bag was found. So plmaybe you can helpme out. Thanks To find my bag of make up . This is the only place l stay.

    Great location. Comfortable bed. The girl at the coffee bar was very nice. The bathroom was vile, including a rusty bathtub. They charge you a 100 dollar deposit even if you don’t have a pet. You do get it back in about 5 days.

    The bathroom was dirty when we got there and the sink would not drain, we asked to have it cleaned, and that never got done. We also requested towels and never got them. I stayed here several times before and it’s definitely gone downhill. There was no manager on site and the staff was not really very helpful although they were kind, they seemed understaffed ?

First, my reservation was for a King Hearing (handicap) room, and this type room was not available upon check in. We checked in at 4 PM.....we weren't late which shouldn't be a problem anyway because we had a RESERVATION. We had to settle for a Queen room with the handicap features. Second, the water pressure in the shower and sink were extremely low. It took very long to take showers. If the hotel is trying to save money on water, the amount of time it took to shower defeats any savings. Last, the ice machine on the 4th floor did not work all 3 days we were there.

    Sonesta Select Boca Raton has been my go to hotel for 4 years while my son has attended FAU, its location is convenient, the staff is awesome and the rooms are spacious. Usually I book thru a third party as it makes it more affordable. This trip just seemed a little different though, the pool was dirty, nobody bothered to clean it the day after some bad rain storms and the screen in my window was so dirty with grass that I couldn't even tell if the sun was shining. One of the front desk staff told me that they're under new management when I brought these issues to them. I will give it another shot on my next visit in December and hopefully this was a one time mess up.

The room was comfortable but one of the soap dispensers did come off the wall and the ironing board was so bent that it almost wouldn't stay upright. The property was not helpful with any changes to the reservation. If you book through a third party application like Expedia or Booking and need to change they will tell you to go through the third party because they can't change the reservation for a refund. But the third party app will tell you it is the property. They will have you go back and forth with no resolution. They didn't seem to care too much.

    Pool, excessive room A/c not working. No hot water in sink. The front desk people were not exactly friendly. Most of them looked angry when asked a question.. there was no one to help me with my luggage cart. I am 84 years old and had lo lift heavy luggage. I was there for 4 nights, and the above was what I experienced trough out my stay.

    The hot tub jets were not working while we stayed here. The phone didn’t work in the room either. The outlets near the bed didn’t work well so we couldn’t charge our ECDs. The hair dryer blew a fuse. The hotel needs major upgrades. However, we had a great experience with one of the staff members, Rhean. She went out of her way to help us. Most of the things we needed help with were out of her control but she was determined to see that our stay was a positive one.

    The room smelled very musty, like mold when we entered but the smell lessened after we turned on the air conditioner There where huge dust balls and mites on the walls on top of the lamps and the rug felt sticky. The sign on the room said we could call front desk for a room refresh, such as change of bins/bathroom refresh - I asked the front office person and she said "I will see if that can be done but you can just out the trash out before 2pm and we will take it. We had a full day event so we could not take the trash out by 2pm and when we got back, the spruce up service was not done. The rooms are really not maintained. The bed was comfortable and the fridge worked fine.

    Location was perfect. Staff was ok , barely any interaction as he gave no sense of direction of where to find elevator. Bed was super comfy but the shower/bathroom needs upgrading and cleaning. There were stains on the floor around the toilet and the shower needs fresh caulking and the shampoo /soap dispenser was peeling from the shower wall. We also saw a roach climb up the wall when we checked into the room not even 5 min. Overall basic stay. We literally only slept in the room and were gone most of the day.

    Needed way more help in the lobby. Could not get coffee in the morning. The front desk had 1 person working the front desk, the complimentary coffe, and the paid breakfast section. I continued to try to get a cup of coffee for an hour. Don't know why they just don't have an automatic coffee machine for the complimentary coffee instead of filling up thermos. Everything else was good, clean rooms, quiet.

    It's kind of dirty and noisy. There ARE associates cleaning (Surface) But, Other than lobby: carpets, walls, ceilings etc... are very worn and dirty. Also, front desk help are mostly younger and they either do not want to be there or they are hiding in the back. Today I waited 20 minutes at the front desk to check out before the Starbucks lady finally came to help. I tried to call the G.M. on his posted cell phone but no answer or call back.

    My recent stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing and, at times, unsettling. The front desk supervisor's conduct was shockingly rude, dismissive, and unprofessional from the moment I arrived. When asked where the pool was, she responded with arrogance and irritably, saying, “It’s all in the paper I gave you.” When I asked what was around the area, she was rude and dismissive again, telling me to “Google it” and adding that she didn’t know what was nearby. This level of rudeness is unacceptable in any hotel, let alone from someone in a supervisory role. I later learned from the manager that she has worked there for decades, yet which made her behaviour even more concerning. As an international traveler, the hotel is your temporary home base, and guests should be able to get basic information and guidance even though they can be accessed online and help guests feel safe. She had my passport in her hands, so she knew I was from abroad, yet her attitude remained dismissive and unprofessional. The supervisor stayed on the phone throughout my check in, making me feel like an inconvenience. The overall atmosphere at the front desk felt unwelcoming and intimidating, except for one staff member, Karmen Kultco, who was friendly, helpful, and professional. Unfortunately, the supervisor’s behavior overshadowed everything else and left me with serious concerns about the hotel’s culture and commitment to guest care.

    We stayed there prior to this stay and we had a room with two double beds and it was much cleaner and nicer and roomier. This time we stayed in a room with one king bed and it was musty and not as nice as our prior room. The worst part of the stay is their Starbucks coffee bar the server who operates it has horrible customer service. She arrives right at 7 o’clock a.m when it’s suppose to be open ready to serve. I would’ve had more patience with her if she greeted me with a smile and said “just give me a few minutes to get everything together”, but she is a very sour person.

    Had to be swapped rooms three times - once as bathroom door broken - second room was dirty and not cleaned by housekeeping- dirty duvets screwed on floor - this has at half 11 pm so not great experience- when I mentioned this at checkout the only response from staff me never was of yes we have had trouble with this mam?!

    This hotel needs a major face lift. It is out dated and I always feel that hotels with old carpet are not a good signs. The hotel has a smell I am sure because of the carpets. The rooms was humid and smelled. When I mentioned to the front desk the issue they said to lower the AC (it was at its lowest). The bathroom had some evidence of mold and sink was clogged. The rate was outrageous probably because it was February (high season). Our bed sheets were clean that was probably the only positive thing I can say about this stay. Thank goodness it was only a one night stay. I would never return to this hotel unless it was renovated.

    It was impossible to receive cleaning service; requested twice in the 8 day stay. The hotel is $25 uber ride to the beach or downtown Boca; It's close to a few shopping plazas.     It was clean and the love seat in the room was so nice for my husband and I to have some wine and cheese and relax. Our room was on the first floor right outside the pool and hot tub. The pool had good sun but it was unseasonably cold so we didn’t go into the pool. The free coffee in the lobby in the morning was very good. The breakfast was not included but we had some food we brought in. The lobby was nice where you eat. We will go back. It was also a short drive to downtown Boca Raton where we ate at Kapow which was open late on a Sunday night which was great. There are nice restaurants near the hotel too. And all over Boca. Bed was comfy and room was nicely decorated.

    Bed was not comfortable like to many people had slept in it. Pillows were horrible. Shower rod was barely bolted to the wall and moved up and down so the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed. Mini fridge wouldn’t stay cold Asked the front desk where to eat and they couldn’t even suggest a place.

    Cute little place. Workers are amazing. Very friendly and go above and beyond! Rooms are a little run down but everything worked perfectly, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were big!     Immediately when I was arriving at the hotel at around 3:15pm I was initially told that check in wasn’t until 4pm and that there may not be a room ready. In my travel experience it’s usually best to start the check in process first and then if a room isn’t ready explain the check in guidelines after. It comes across as uninviting and not very hospitable. The hotel itself could use some refreshing and some better scents as it smells like dirty mop in the lobby. The room was clean and so was the bed.

    The cleanliness of the room was not bad, but the bathroom needed work. There were obvious signs of rust and the lack of cleaning in the tub area. The bathroom also had a mild odor of mildew upon entry. Staff was nice and check in was smooth. Location of hotel was perfect.

    Toilet ran all night - the room included a doorbell for handicap purposes, but it was not a handicap room and the bolt was the only part that worked on the door. The swing lock had nothing to attach to it. We let the front desk know when we left.

    Room tidy, but saw two cockroaches on first night. Carpet smells old and musty. The worst offense, though, is the water quality. It smells like grey water. Made me not want to shower or brush my teeth. We won’t stay there again.

    The hotel is more like an extended stay. The staff was very sweet. The rooms were clean. The linens, pillows and mattress were great. No skimping there but the carpets felt very dirty. Make sure to take an extra set of towels at check in. We stayed 10 nights. Our room only got cleaned once a week with one refresh mid week. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is better than most hotels. Parking was good. Location was excellent for restaurants and shopping. Maintenance downside was the drain in the shower ran slow so we showered in a tub that was filling up.

    They had a different room which was not up to our standards or expectations. The next morning we checked out and moved to another hotel. Now I am being charged the full amount and had to dispute with American Express. If there is anything you can do to help it would be greatly appreciated.

    This was the absolute worst hotel that I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve travel at least four times a month. The room was not clean. There was absolutely no help from the staff. I requested my room be made up every day that I was there for five days and it was never made up. I had to get my own towels every single day and was given an attitude by the staff when I requested them Instead of a vacation I felt like I was working, taking out the garbage and making my bed very very disappointing would not recommend.

    When I checked in the room I had smelled strong of pet urine. I asked to switch rooms the next day. They did switch rooms for me and the new room was better although had the animal urine smell. The toilet in this room would not flush and I had to keep calling to the front desk to have the maintenance staff come up and fix it. House keeping never came in to check to see if I needed towels and never spot cleaned the entire 5 days I was there. Upon checking out I was over charged and apparently the staff doesn’t have access for a refund. Needless to say I’m very disappointed in my stay and will not be returning. Sonesta Boca Raton DO BETTER!

    The young lady who checked everyone in at around 3:40 p.m. We were all told we could not get our room until 4:00 p.m. there was a line of seven people and each person had a different problem checking in and there was only one person there and they were new. So we all understood that only to be told that you have to get back in line at 4:00 p.m. then at 4:00 p.m. when I went back in line I was asked to submit paperwork because I booked through Expedia and not there personal website and then to make mad as worse. The young lady Carmen at the front desk who was very condescending gave me the FY room after wanting the fyv to check in 20 minutes earlier and that fee was $45 but the room she gave me was the very last room on the floor which was about a quarter mile from the elevator and that was her way of trying to get even with me because I complained about the check-in process. I have never heard of filling out paperwork in this day and age when we all use computers. Also, on the last note, I think that if you cannot check in before 4:00 p.m. there should be a sign somewhere saying please do not try to check in before 4:00 p.m. but some people got keys to their room while others didn't. So I'm really not sure of the policy here but maybe it's because I used Expedia?? Either way, the customer service here is awful. They are not a friendly hotel in the Boca Raton area and they certainly don't try to accommodate and the fact that they don't have uniforms /name tags.

    Bathroom floor flooded from leaking toilet tank on check in. I asked to be changed to a different room and was denied. While waiting for the plumber/handyman I called the desk again and insisted I be changed to a functional room and was denied again (“there are no other rooms, we’re full.”) and told to wait in the room. When the plumber arrived he said he couldn’t fix it that night and he would have to remove the toilet the next day. Finally, they gave me another room. Rude front desk. Nobody was in the lobby. The hotel was nearly empty. Why was I forced to sit in a room I couldn’t use for hours?

    Room reserved (pool view) was not the room given and did not accommodate adjoining rooms even though I booked two rooms in same reservation.     The laundry room is not sufficient for a hotel of this size. It has a side by side washer and dryer - the dryer stopped working 12/25/25. It also has a stacked washer and dryer that has been out of order for over 2 weeks pre-holiday season. Staff suggested that guests go to an off-site coin laundry and made excuses for the maintenance staff without stating what was being done to fix the situation within an acceptable time limit.

    Neglected is an understatement. The shower/tub was not clean. The toilet was broken. Had to call maintenence in and they temporarily fixed it. The toilet broke again. I requested an hour later check-out to make up for the major issues with the room and they denied the request. The staff were unhelpful and terrible to deal with.

Hotel has some signs of warned out in some areas. No food option available for breakfast or even open despite signs and website saying they do have. No one even get explanation why it is closed.     Horrible stay! Nothing of what you purchase was actually at the property. Ordered a premium king with a pull out sofa….. what I got was a dirty king (tub was awful…see pics) with a chair in the corner and a tv that could not be turned and seen from the bed. When I called them out on it they made me stay in the room for 2 days and never cleaned the tub…. In fact they never cleaned the the room at all. Also as a dog property there was feces in the hotel hallways. The front desk covers there tracks and makes you think they are giving a discount when in fact you have to beg to get $24 dollars off in the end. They don’t have a breakfast area. When asked they say it has been permanently closed and has been for 2 months though still advertised on hotels.com and the sonesta site. From the manager saying that she would have a discount set up by the time I check out (didn’t receive the $24 for over a week), to the corporate escalation that was never completed until 3 weeks later and only took the account of the front desk desk manager, to the manager lying and saying that this never happened and there is no way I was checked in with a dirty room. Basically this hotel is the epitome of a bait and switch! So to be clear I am leaving photos with actual date and time stamps so that not only consumers but hotels.com can see and avoid this establishment like the plague. I will also be filing a claim with hotels.com to kick this hotel from their site as it does not meet their standard!

    The shower for one thing, it was burning hot there was no cold water. When we tried turning the water cold the water, the water remained hot, and we quickly showered so as to not burn ourselves. We also had issues with the toilet, it didn’t flush and we had to keep pushing the knob down on the toilet. We also received only one toilet paper during our three night stay. They mentioned that the only clean and give toilet paper if you’ve stayed three nights but we called and requested for them to give us some and some clean towels as well. The person we spoke with said they would bring us some but they never did. We also requested for housekeeping and our trash cans were overflowing. The front receptionist told us that the three day policy also applied to housekeeping. However, we mentioned that we also called and the second day and were told that they would clean but no one ever did.

Also for that kind of rate why do I have to put a sign out for fresh towels? That to me is madness. If these things would have been addressed I would have gave a solid 4.

    We have issues with the bathroom toilet, it wasn’t working properly and it got clogged three times, we called the front desk the first time someone came and fixed, then we called them again and the FD lady told us that she didn’t have anyone to come and fixed it. So, my husband went downstairs to get the plunger to fix it. You pay you fix-not acceptable. We need it to use the “lobby” bathroom instead.. Also, the condition of the hotel was poor, it’s ok that the building is old but no maintenance or upgrades at all. Even the Lobby pillows are old, and disgusting. Carpet it’s very old, and the old smell-sprayed perfume to cover the odor thought out the property was insane. The complimentary coffee is so bad, they have an Starbucks sign and there is no Starbucks coffee… I have to say that the beds are great actually and the hotel location is perfect. That’s all! I do not recommend this Hotel.

    The room was very clean and updated. The hotel property itself is nice too. Check in and out was easy. The shampoo and such in the rooms are nice. My only complaints are that our mini fridge wasn’t working properly and wasn’t getting very cold, and there was no electric vent in the bathroom. But I wouldn’t even dock a star for it because everything else was good and the price was very reasonable for the area. I was ultimately happy with my stay and would definitely stay here again.

    The hotel is in a great area. The lobby was clean, kept nice. The hotel up to the point where we entered the room was good. The floor had not been vacuumed. Beds were comfortable. The bathroom looked as if someone forgot to clean it. There were drain flies through out the room. I sent a message to the hotel with no reply. Asked for a manager but was told (Kaykay?) I believe is the name she said) would be in sometime that day but wasn’t sure of a time. The area to get hot coffee wasn’t open anytime I was there. I asked for got coffee, said they closed at 10am. Asked at 7am and was told they weren’t open. I feel like for the price, I got not of the amenities that oat hotels include.

    Location was convenient. Was clean enough. Was a basic room & hotel. Only plug in charging, no USB ports. They didn’t have any breakfast items for food, but we were able to get a coffee in the morning from a Starbucks inside with a limited supply (no oat or soy milk, no vanilla syrup, for example). So it was a fine enough stay for a short overnight. Not terrible, not great. Very convenient location for getting over to FAU campus.

    KK at the front desk was so accommodating at check in. Fast, easy, check in. Arrived later than I had anticipated due to traffic conditions and needed to get checked in and on my way to an appointment. KK got me checked in quickly and efficiently and on my way to my appointment! Have stayed at this Sonesta many, many times and plan to in the future due to their great customer service and clean rooms and facilities. Thank you KK and Sonesta for a great travel experience! 🤗

    Nice room and very soft and comfortable bed.Noticed a washcloth behind the closet but other than that it seemed clean. Freezer in fridge was frosted up and unusable.     Walls newly painted, lobby comfortable and newer. We hung out there and it was nice. Lobby coffee shop oddly not manned and dark. I assume the front desk helps you. Rugs and bathroom need replacement. Easy check out. Person at check in spoke minimal, didn’t offer wifi connection or directions to elevator. Left the desk the second she returned my credit card. Underwear in room drawer! From prior guest I assume. Location right off highway. Surrounded my steak houses. Gas station 2 blocks away. Starbucks and bagel store across the street. Doors to outside and gate to parking lot weren’t locked. Free parking. I asked for renewed towels and never received them. Your room is not refreshed automatically daily eg trash, toilet paper, bedding, towels, etc

    Overall the stay was ok. The cafe the site indicated and advertised was closed the whole stay. This was a stay through the weekend into the weekday cafe never opened. Other than that the room was okay. I found the shower and tub to be a bit dingy. Also, above the shower wall the paint on the wall was bubbling up and peeling. Easy access in and out and parking. There were three restaurants right near the hotel in the same parking lot. They were pricey though.

    Bathroom smelled of mildew, hair dryer was filthy and sticky. When I asked for a replacement the manager said they didn't have any. I asked the gal at the front desk if she would use it to dry her hair and she said no. They ended up getting me a new one, but not without a run around.

    Room was super clean , hotel was nice. Only thing was there was something wrong with the restaurant area so you couldn’t get any food so we had to go out. Things happen so not anyone’s fault just an inconvenience. I would definitely stay again.

    The hotel had a market the whole entire our time we were there. It was never opened. It does state on your website that there is a restaurant on premises. There is not the pool did not seem clean at the time we were there.

    It was a party and hook up hotel. Lots of young college aged kids, smelled like marijuana coming out of many rooms. Beer cans and boxes inside and outside. Loud, annoying music being blasted. Receptionists that could care less about their job. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows uncomfortable, shower temperature inaccurate, walls and carpet smelled outside room. Great price, served its purpose.

    The location is perfect with the amount of great restaurants and convenience located near it, the rooms were clean and the staff was very nice, my only two complaints being someone that stays in hotels frequently is that the lighting in the rooms is very dark. It is not bright enough to enjoy the room in the evening or in the bathroom areas to do your make up well. And the pillows are very, very soft so they are uncomfortable.

    The bed was comfortable! Better than average. It was fairly quiet there. Pool was nice. I didn't get a chance to try the hot tub, but it looked good. One thing I didn't like about the property is that around the pool, it smelled. I think people let their dogs go to the bathroom in the hedges and bushes surrounding the pool. They could use some signage to discourage letting the dogs "potty" where others congregate. Also, I was disappointed that there were no built-in ports to charge my cell phone. Most hotels I've been to have at the very least, a USB port for a charger cord. Not here. I was at fault for assuming a 3-star hotel would provide that convenience. Live and learn. I would return to this property if I'm in the area again. And this time, I'd bring my own charger base and cord. Btw, Taurus at the front desk was friendly and helpful.

    Then at 9 am room service came knocking when we had the DND sign on the door and they woke us up once again and said they thought we checked out. If you don't mind not getting any sleep then this is the place for you. You can also hear the highway noise if you are on the east side of the building. Side note the ac worked well!
