Cloister at The Boca Raton

Staying at The Boca Raton was a wonderful experience. The complex is beautiful. There are many options for activities as well as dining. What sets this hotel apart was the staff. They are the most thoughtful group of employees I have encountered in all my travels. They provide a house car to take you to nearby locations as well as a property shuttle. Would definitely return again!

It’s our favorite place to stay. Excellent service and a great variety of food. We had some favorite staff Avi in Palm Court, Mya in the Maison Rose and Emily at Harbor House. We spent a rainy day at the spa and had a couple massage. It was a perfect day of pampering. We went over to Marisol at the Beach Club for dinner. It was fantastic. We can’t wait for our next vacation at The Boca Raton.

We’ve stayed the past two years and although it’s a beautiful property with attentive (most….not all) staff, there’s always problems related to dinner reservations missing (and arguing with me about it, despite having a text or email receipt from several months prior), overcharging (again, despite having a text/email receipt) and an incident in 2025 I should have filed a police report and made a trip to a medical facility on but we had travelled there for our 20th anniversary, it was the day of our anniversary, and we had a pricey cabana reserved and it would have ruined the entire trip even further. No apologies or follow up with us for overcharging, trying to give our reservations away, or the 2025 incident. Sadly moving on

The property was packed, took 30 mins to get coffee. The property needs to figure out the pool seat situation as people held seats never showed up. Kids everywhere running crazy parents not watching. Crazy!!! Especially when you pay ridiculous prices for rooms food etc…

Absolutely stunning

absolutely love the staff the front desk the valet golf. They’re all top notch. Without being said multiple areas were under construction very very noisy. You couldn’t sleep past 7:30 in the morning on top of that we had to be moved rooms three times we had no hot water in the first room the second room didn’t have the bag configurations we paid for. Third room they had to move us into a room that was in a construction zone we waited till after 6 PM to check in even though we were there as early as 1230 just cause I don’t know why so that definitely put a damper on the trip but staff is Top-notch.

Everything was incredible. The resort felt so classy but not stuffy at all! The hospitality was unmatched. I had no idea about all of the amenities that were included in our stay (movie theater with snacks and drinks, game room, complimentary in-room minibar, etc) … Can’t wait to come back.

We went for a mother daughter getaway and LOVED the spa experience we had but the hotel room was a bit outdated with a musty smell. There were weddings/conventions going on that Saturday so 3 of the main restaurants were bought out and we could not enjoy them although they were a big part of why we booked the cloister so we could stay on property the entire weekend.

The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodating! The complimentary mini bar & snacks in the room was a nice suprise and all the restaurants on the property had amazing food and drinks!

By far one of the best hotel experiences - the service is impeccable. The staff makes you feel like you are the only guest and, as such, a priority. Nick at concierge is beyond amazing!

Pools were very crowded that the crew had difficulty finding seats. Restaurants were pleasant. Staff were kind.

The staff and level of service are really what set this hotel apart from other luxury properties. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The pool experience and all dining were wonderful. Our room was beautiful - the ONLY negative was that the room was described as sleeping 4, however the beds were full-sized, not queens, so it was very tight. The property was beautiful and so big. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the beds are tiny. I feel like they were twin size beds but advertised as fulls.

Falls short of a five star hotel. Upon check in I was told they only have a king size room available and if I wanted to upgrade to the towers and pay additional money per night. My booking was for four people - two double beds. Next morning I wake up to 3 contractors leaning on my window of the estate view room which was a view of a roof and ac units. I contacted management about the noise and privacy of people looking into my room and I had to chase the manager down to change my room. You need to wake up early to get a lounge chair and if you leave it for an hour your belongings are removed in which case was done to me. Let’s not forget the dog poop that was all over the pool walkway. And to top it off my belongings left on my pool chair disappeared and apparently there are no cameras by the pool. I then had to file a police report. Food is overpriced and over an hour wait for lunch. You have to pay for a cup of coffee in the lobby in the morning. The grounds are very nice but there were too many shortcomings to want to return or justify the amount spent.

Not even close to a 5 star experience for several reasons. The resort was overbooked, there were no chairs available at any of the pools. The staff is poorly trained and often unpleasant. It takes forever to get anything sent to the room. The food at the restaurants is average at best. The experience was much closer to a 3 or 4 star hotel or resort.

We LOVE staying here! Great restaurants (BEST Japanese restaurant we’ve been to in a long time!), service and amenities. Staff helpful and pleasant. Something for everyone!

Did not fell 5 star when people are fighting for chairs by pool and arguing over umbrellas. That said most of staff is very professional. Had to switch from one part of hotel to another. Front desk forgot to tell us room was ready so had to ask much later in day. Said the dropping the ball was a "learning experience" for staff. This place ain't cheap. Rooms and restaurants. Clear management failures

Beautiful property and excellent service. Comfortable bed and pillows. lExtra $100+ facility and tax fee daily , i wasn’t expecting, in addition to high base cost. They add 20% gratuity to everything so check your receipts before adding an additional tip! It’s beautiful but very pricey. If you don’t mind splurging a bit , you will love it.

The room next to me had kids (teenagers) left alone and were screaming for hours. At no fault of the hotel, they sent security right after I called.

Luxury and refinement. We love this property. Much better than The Breakers Palm Beach and much more reasonable.

Restaurants are way way over-priced and food quality is barely average Instead of standard complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning, it’s $5 meanwhile they’re charging a fortune for resort fees.

The check in member was cordial andnhelpful. I think his name was Itsaan?

Only complaint would be the valet- first days went smoothly but day 3, as business ramped up, they had trouble finding our car two separate times. Spending an hour of our vacation waiting on an expensive service we are charged for was frustrating. Apparently they switched to a new system mid stay and had our car mark as the wrong color. One of the managers tried to say it came out and got reparked which was a lie. We had four people watching for our car as two had to catch a flight. Other valets were apologetic and as a business owner, that approach was more appreciated. Unfortunately our room was also close to the valet area but we thankfully travel with earplugs. Overall this was a great experience if you want to indulge and celebrate!

This is a beautiful hotel with plenty of places to relax, eat and enjoy time with loved ones. Truly a special place and we will be back!

I have stayed at the resort at least 40x in my life. The only thing I would say could be improved is the time it takes to get service to the room. When I checked in I needed several items before I could head to the pool and it took 3 calls and 2 hours for simple items. Other than that, the place is great for kids and a staycation.

The pool was too crowded! The staff took away our stuff and gave the seats to somebody else. It wasn’t the best experience regarding the pool. The rest was really good. The property is beautiful.

Amazing hotel, great for family with children.

We had to wait an extremely long time to get our room and had to get the help of a manager. We dined in the flamingo grill and they missed our salad and we waited over an hour for our main course. Tableside Cesar was not authentic. We had to argue with manager who was basically forced to comp our meal but then only removed one item. It did put a damper on our anniversary and birthday celebration which was planned for in advance.
