We had a great time swimming and fishing

Wall between us (304) and next room (302) was not well soundproof. We could hear a lot of what they were saying & doing. We could hear them until after midnight on the 1st night of our stay. On 2nd night, it was quiet until they evidently returned to their room at 3am, and they proceeded to chatter away until 4am. I don't think they were speaking loudly, but the wall did not block a lot of their chatter. Needless to say we didn't get all that much sleep. Maybe a noise-after-midnight ordinance could be established, since soundproofing the walls would probably be prohibitive.

Nice location right on the water. Had restaurant over looking the water, food nothing to brag about but ok. Reasons for a 3 rating, the beds were short like camper beds. I'm 5'10" and unless my head was next to the headboard my feet were hanging off the end of the bed. Had little square pillows. Went to shower in the morning and bathroom floor was wet, had water dripping from ceiling. A/C unit was very loud when it kicked in, not normal , they switched us to a new room because of the water leak and new room had A/C with normal sound level. Asked for early check in, about 1 1/2 hour and it was $35 charge.

You need to overlook the obvious repair that needs to be made on the pool deck and the inconvenient elevator location for the third floor,It can be a long walk. On weekends there is no continental breakfast included. You will need to purchase breakfast. We did not. The restaurant has great patio seating and a very sunny window filled dining area. The food is average, the drinks are average. Although there is a sign that says no food in the pool area...if there are yuppy select baseball team parents there, they will do whatever they want, take over the whole pool area with their pizza party, kids running amuk and the staff will not care. Luckily they came later and it was dinner time so we left.

Room had bed bugs. The general manager refused to speak with us as she was “too busy” but had no issue giving the maintenance man instructions, Offered to move us room but why take the chance of possible taking our luggage into another room. Other than the bed bugs, rooms are very dated, halls have dimmed lighting. One elevator for entire hotel. The only good thing was the pool was okay. Certainly was not cleaned over night as there was a dead bird on the floor that was never removed. DO NOT waste the time.

I was leary because it was so inexpensive but thrilled when my 12 year old son and I checked in. The property is beautiful and everyone is so nice. We ended up staying another extra night. We will be back and definitely rent a boat.

The property was very clean. The rooms were clean when I got there and went to my room. There was no TV service and I approached them about it and I said we do not know if it’ll be a few days or weeks. The dish network has went out and they’re trying to find out the problem. The nice thing is they did have the TV service back up after 2 1/2 days and they switched me to a room that had the TV service unfortunately after they fix the TV service some reason the Internet service went down so you had no access to the Internet the last 2 1/2 days to all fairness to them. It wasn’t exactly their problem. It was their TV and Internet provider problem but yet it was very unhelpful for people that were there as I was not having access to TV or Internet, but when it came to check out, they were very nice and the management gave a 50% off for the five day stay I was there. Would I go back and stay there? Yes I would.

Bugs were everywhere, crawling up the walls and on the pillows. We checked out immediately. Many other rooms were checking out ahead of us too and warned us as we arrived

The information about the complimentary continental breakfast was misleading, as we were charged $15 for breakfast. It was also unclear that dinner is only available on weekends and not on weekdays. The listing should provide more accurate information about these amenities.

Restaurant was not opening until May 1st so the continental breakfast consisted of cold cereal, prepackaged muffins, etc.

restaurant and Bar was closed due to no staff. The pool was not heated. Requested maid service the following morning and didnt receive it.

2nd room was comfortable clean and the water pressure the best I've had in any hotel!

The property is inside a park, so we had to pay to enter (not a problem but didn’t see that mentioned anywhere before we arrived) The place was nice but dated. The pool was nice, but cold. The lady that checked us in didn’t know what she was doing so it took twice as long as it needed to. We were told we would get the park fee refunded and still haven’t. We have a random charge that no one we have talked to can explain or resolve for us, and the manager still hasn’t called us back to resolve.

We have a few people with dietary restrictions (gluten-free, etc.), so it would have been nice if there had been a breakfast option other than bread or cereal or if the restaurant had been open. The view of the lake was beautiful, and we all appreciated that. The stay was excellent when you consider the price we paid for 4 rooms for two nights.
