Location and Friendly staff and fixed an error on our end. The toilet did work but they moved me to another room but that one had hair on the upper walls of the shower but overall very nice and timely.

The staff were friendly and it was a quick check-in. It smelled off musty not quite sure how to explain it.
- 1/5
Very noisy coming from outside the hotel. Likely due to proximity to a truck stop either diesel engines running most of the night. All of us had difficulty sleeping.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I’d give them 5 stars. However the hotel itself was disappointing. Old and run down. Had to switch rooms due to broken tv and refrigerator. Carpets were old and gross. Doors had damage to them. Dresser drawers would open on their own. Breakfast was very disappointing. Barely anything offered or available to eat. Not worth the $200 spent. I’ve had better accommodations at motels and spent this amount at more upscale hotels.

Property was in a good location! A lot of fast food restaurants around and front desk people seemed nice. Some stains on carpet but that’s why you take slippers :)

Our room was absolutely disgusting stains on sheets and mattress and a dirty band aid let alone the floor not being vacuumed they refused to refund me which I’m still working on I have lots of pictures this is wrong and uncalled for we couldn’t stay there
- 5/5
Hotel is conveniently located a couple of miles from the ISU campus. We would definitely stay here again when in town.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 2/5
Tv's didn't work when we checked in. Took few hours to get them working then it kept going in and out. Worked fine in the morning. Coffee maker didnt work but they did replace it.parking was difficult making unloading luggage difficult. Staff was friendly and tried hard to be accommodating.

Very dirty everything in the room, dust, hair, stick y carpet etc. staff rude
- 3/5
Nothing special, not very clean. Would not recommend.
- 2/5
When booking on Hotels.com there was not an option to select for pets, so I was honest and told them we had a pet, then they moved us from 2nd to 1st floor. Room I booked had a sofa, room I was given did not. Room was gross, floor was dirty, bathroom door didn’t close, room door appeared as though it had been knocked off hinges previously. Hallway overwhelming smelled of marijuana. Could not sleep well due to aforementioned. Top 2 worst hotel rooms of my life, and out of college 30 years ago I had a traveling sales job and I stayed in some dives to save $. I Do not recommend this place. F this place.
- 2/5
Room was ok. Hotel is in need of renovations. It tells you everything you need to know when they still have smoking rooms.
- 4/5
Room was clean and bed was comfy. Didn’t use the pool and the breakfast was subpar. Staff was courteous. Would only go again if the price was better than similar spots like Country Inn and Hawthorne Suites which have better breakfast.
- 4/5
Clean but outdated furnishings.
- 4/5
easy check in, convient parking
- 2/5
Front desk let some guy in who loaded up a plate of breakfast muffins and allowed him to sit in the lobby and spout off the most hateful vitriol I have ever heard. When I asked staff to ask him to leave they ignored me. Carpeting throughout the facility was filthy. Dared not take off my shoes without putting a towel on the floor
- 3/5
Room could use some freshening up. Base of bed shabby.
- 5/5
Staff..clean rooms...
- 5/5
Very clean updated rooms. Excellent stay. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Microwaveable sandwiches at breakfast. Clean room.
- 2/5
Checked into the room and there was a disgusting #2 clogged in the toilet. Made the front desk move us. Unfriendly front desk staff at check in as well. Second room was not super clean and showed its milage. When your clean white socks get dirty from the carpet...its dirty. At the pricepoint, you get what you pay for.

Breakfasr was basic. Ok. Toliet didnt work well in room. Smelled very strong of ir fres
- 4/5
The room was like a sauna when we entered it. Notified desk clerk. We turned the unit to ac until it became more comfortable. We turned the temperature way down and back to heat. We slept alright but the temperature varied throughout the night. Otherwise, everything was great!

- 3/5
Staff was good. Friendly and helpful. Bathtub wasn't draining correctly. Standing water while taking a shower.
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff, good hotel
- 1/5
The room was a decent size, not as clean as i would have wanted it. the head boards were dusty, the lamp on night stand looked like it was never cleaned before- alarm clock had a blanket of dust. The carpet was gross and there were nicotine pouches stuck to the ceiling…. i was so uncomfortable and grossed out i left extremely early…. will never go back.
- 3/5
They only had cold breakfast, no warm foods. The pool was warm but the edges looked like they needed repair. Just as we were checking out, saw there were 2 bugs, don’t know what kind, by the window and on the curtain. I doubt we will stay at a Quality Inn again.
- 5/5
Location close to Interstate. Restaurants nearby. Property was clean. Room and bed were spacious and comfortable, clean. Everything worked.
- 3/5
OK FOR ONE NIGHT STAY, WOULD NOT WANT TO STAY ANY LONGER. BASIC STAY.
- 5/5
AC was great, bed was comfy and place is quiet and safe!
- 1/5
I have stayed in many hotels in my 65 years. I’ve stayed in the very best to the absolute worst. Never have I ever found bugs on the curtains, what looked like dried blood splattered on the curtains & wall. The 3rd floor wreaked of marijuana. We arrived earlier than expected, the front desk was kind enough to allow us to check in. We were visiting family so we took our things up to the room and then left for our visit. When we came back is when we discovered 2 bugs on the curtains( not sure what kind, husband said maybe stink bugs) once I pulled the curtains back to look for more is when I discovered what looked like dried blood on the curtains. We proceeded to take our suitcases downstairs. We were not staying. The front desk apologized and said they were filled up for the night. I explained we weren’t wanting another room. Even though it was pouring down rain outside, we were leaving. I’ll Never stay in this hotel or any affiliated with it.
- 3/5
Room was dirty, bathroom was very small for suite. Breakfast was a joke hardly anything there, muffins and fruit, or waffle.
- 5/5
Parking well lit, Room musty plus dated
- 3/5
Parking was easy, air did cool room down

All these sights that you book hotel rooms need to provide all fee information.
- 5/5
Parking was easy and free. Air conditioning was good and really cooled the room. Staff was friendly.

- 2/5
Cost was astronomical for small room, small bathroom. Very disappointed Had to unplug refrigerator due to loud noise it was making
- 1/5
The hotel is in deperate need of updating, the bathroom door frame.was falling apart, the towel rack was hanging down and yhry almoat fell in the toilet. The fridge and AC u it was so loud we barely slept. The TV would have been better with rabbit ears as the sound barely matched up with the picture, on the 6 channels they had. The lobby was nice and the breakfast was hot and decent for a free brekafast. The staff was nice though. It looks way better from the outside. We were at ISU for family weekend so they had jacked up their rates as the other hotels were full. At $90 a night i would not expect much, but for $200 plus, per night. I expected a lot more, again it was the last option on the table, we should have slept in our car and showered at a truck stop.
- 1/5
Entering the room immediately you could smell the mildew and mold in the air. There was trash already in the trashcan, the ceiling was sagging, the bathroom ceiling was peeling, after showering there was three inches of standing water that would not drain, the carpet was filthy, and we saw bugs crawling by the microwave. One of the employee's offered to pour some chemicals down the sink for the drain (never came) and offered to spray the carpet. After seeing the bugs the wife and I were out!!!! We were there for less than 6 hours. They would not give us a receipt saying that we checked out the same day. The employee said to call Expedia to get our refund. We had to call Expedia and the Expedia rep talked to them and they told her that we had to pay for the taxes for that day of $62. Guess what?! They charged us for two nights of taxes and have not replied for our refund.
- 4/5
Clean
- 2/5
Lower-end hotel than I usually stay at, but even for this tier the property was fairly “meh” in terms of condition, comfort, and cleanliness. And the price was stupidly highly — clearly taking advantage of ISU Family Weekend.
- 2/5
You know it’s not a good omen when the sign on the front of the building says ‘hotel not responsible if your car is stolen’. Checkin was fine. There was a very nice man at the front desk. No issues there. We were told to get on the elevator up to our room but there was an older man with a cleaning cart in the elevator that kept hitting buttons and stared at us. He just kept going up and down, so after the third time we just took the stairs. The room was just cleaned and we appreciated that. But the white stains on the floor and the bed sheets grossed me out and if I had a black light I’m afraid of what we would have found. The final straw wa when I went to plug in my computer and behind the night stand was some….used wrappers of stuff and I just said ‘nope’ I’m out. Literally grabbed my things 3 hours ago and left for home. Just freaking gross

- 3/5
Easy access off hwy and bed was comfortable. Room was not vacuumed well otherwise ok. Good one night location.
- 4/5
Clean, perfect for a stopover of one night after long day of driving.
- 4/5
We think this place is a good value for the cost. We are usually just passing through, and each time we are here it is a one night stay. Its consistently clean, the parking is easy, location is easy to find at night, plenty of dining options around, the people here are nice.
- 3/5
The bathroom floor is so slick that it is unsafe. The bed was as firm as the floor and the refrigerator needed to be unplugged because it was so loud it kept us awake. Breakfast was satisfactory.
- 5/5
The staff was friendly, polite, professional and very welcoming. The hotel room was clean and fresh.
- 5/5
Great place to stay in Bloomington. Indoor pool, clean comfortable rooms, at a reasonable price. Several restaurants close to Motel.
- 5/5
Great people / coffee sucks/ breakfast good / smelled nice rooms clean
- 5/5
The hotel called me when they found that I left my Ipad in the room after checkout. That was so honest and considerate!
- 5/5
Great stay. Breakfast could be better. Slim on the choices.
- 2/5
The room smelled like a box of carpet freshening powder. It was very weird. The clock didn’t work and we had to minive
- 5/5
Doing a college tour so we were there just for the night.
- 3/5
Staff was courteous and responsive. However, would not recommend this location.
- 2/5
DID NOT LIKE THE ROOM. IT WAS DATED. OLD AC EQUIPMENT WAS IN THE HALLWAY. FLOORS NEEDED VACUUMING. The bed AND FLOOR HAD A noticeably uneven surface. I DID NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE in the room. DID NOT FEEL AS IF SHEETS WERE CHANGED.
- 5/5

- 4/5
I like the heated pool and the peaceful and clean didnt like amalll bathroom and no jacuzzi

Run down
- 1/5
There were ants crawling all over the table when we woke up in the morning. They did nothing.
- 5/5
Only issue was my white crew socks got very dirty walking on the carpet in the room. Please do more than vacuum the carpet.
- 5/5
The continental breakfast was a little disappointing. Could have a bigger and better selection of food items. We came down at 8am not much left, especially when they said breakfast ended at 9am.
- 2/5
Then I was called in my room at 815am on a Sunday morning, when checkout wasn't until 11am... needless to say I couldn't fall back to sleep... only to find out that while the phone bell could ring noon stop, the hand held receiver wouldn't work, they couldn't hear me on the other end... So not sure why the micromanagement of check in and check out, before either time is even close, was frustrating... They were sold out, so my guess is they were trying to manage bookings at both ends. I've never been called at home prior to check in, nor almost 3 hours prior to check out. Won't be staying here again. It was very clean though.
- 4/5
Convenient
- 5/5
Nice people and good service 👍
- 5/5
Nice friendly staff/mant
- 4/5
Lobby had low-key unpleasant odor, and elevator had a strong odor. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Hotel was quiet, staff was very friendly.
- 2/5
Halls smelt heavily of smoke, inappropriate graffiti on elevator doors,
- 1/5
I had a horrible experience with this hotel
- 3/5
I have stayed at this property numerous times and never had any problems, but this time when I checked in and went to my room the bathtub was dirty and water was leaking from the toilet. I took pictures for management to see but instead he came to the room to see for himself. Management switched rooms and checked the room to make sure everthing was ok. I was pleased with how the situation was handled thank you for being kind and professional.
- 4/5
Love it
- 4/5
Best value. Room clean, offered pool and breakfast.
- 3/5
Bathroom was extremely small
- 4/5
Average, clean room. Maintenance needs to be done on bathroom floor. Complimentary breakfast was very good!
- 4/5
Clean safe spot would stay again
- 1/5
I would not go back here. Very cheaply ran hotel snd staff doesn't care about customers. Handicap rooms and NOT handicap. No way a wheelchair going to fit. I was in the room they said was the bigger of the handicap rooms.
- 4/5
Overall it was a decent hotel. However I do recommend they keep up on general maintenance. Our lock as barley on, and the sink handle came off but it went back on. The general maintenance just needed to be kept up on.
- 1/5
We left shortly after checking in. The property was dirty, the room smelled strongly of smoke and chemicals, the locks on the door had been broken and poorly repaired.
- 5/5
It was convient for our stay
- 1/5
There are Bed Bugs and Swimming pool area is very slipper, not maintained.
- 5/5
This Quality inn was quite nice. A very well kept establishment. Our room was great. It was clean and neat. I would definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
We are a family of 5. Our room had 2 queen beds and a small chair. The room needed a big sofa so one of our kids could sleep on it. The room had a particular smell that didn’t let us enjoy our stay in there.
- 4/5
Good location, friendly, helpful staff.
- 5/5
Excellent service and staff!
- 3/5
Friendly staff, clean room. Faucet in sink came off in my hand. Just had to be carefull using it. The heat was set to 80, so hot. Took all night to cool down. We should have asked for another room. Staff didn’t offer when we told them.
- 2/5
The heater/air conditioner wasn’t working at all…. Breakfast area tables were all sticky/dirty way after breakfast like weren’t wiped off … bathroom tile floors had dirt all along the baseboards and build up in every corner… hallway carpets were dirty like need shampooing … smelly
- 4/5
Water smelled and tasted really bad. Apparently the municipal water was to blame. Breakfast was ok; not great.
- 3/5
Overall, not a bad stay. Just a very old hotel with few upgrades other than cosmetics. Hotel was clean. Staff was kind. Was a GREAT stay for the value.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Very clean and quiet. Good breakfast
- 3/5
This was my first time staying at this hotel and it will be last. The hotel staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. The room it self was tiny and had a smell. The bathroom was small. The carpet was dirty and so qas the blinds. The breakfast was bad. They didn't even have eggs.
- 2/5
Breakfast was very so-so. Good enough for a pit stop overnight.
- 1/5
Hotel is in dire need of a remodel. It's dirty!!!
- 2/5
check in staff at night were a little rude and i unexpectedly had to pay a $150 inconvenience fee which they stated would be refunded. first room smelled like cigarettes and mirror was dirty, second room was better but the mirror was still dirty and found hair in some places. bed was also itchy although i saw no bed bugs , probably the detergent that was used.
- 5/5
Really comfortable bed. Lighting was poor! Staff very helpful.
- 2/5
Rude check in. Check out was nicer but staff at check in was rude and charged my card twice for incidental. Horrible attitude
- 5/5

Really enjoyed my stay
- 2/5
When we checked in Friday night, the room smelled very musty. I had opened the window to get rid of the musty smell, but there was a guy in the parking lot running his diesel engine right in our room. So I Closed the window, got over the smell, and went to sleep. Saturday night was a whole different story. The people next to us were partying until 6 AM smoking pot in the hallways, screaming, playing loud music, and nothing was said to them. When I spoke to the front desk person in the morning, he said sorry, but it’s homecoming weekend. I would’ve thought that he would’ve had a better response than that. Saturday night I got zero sleep because of the excessive noise and partying until 6 o’clock in the morning. Also, when they came to clean the room, they opened up the window and didn’t say anything to us. I was on the first floor and did not feel safe , I don’t know if there was a leaky air conditioning or what it was, but the room was very musty and it smelled
- 4/5
I travel the country make deliveries of motorsport products.I generally get in late and leave early, just sleeping and taking a shower. The $100 incidental Charge Ridiculous !
- 1/5
The room smelled so bad the clock didn’t work nor the phone it took 12 hours for the leaking fridge to get my water chilled vending machine didn’t work and at breakfast the juice was warm but the bed was comfortable.. the window did open … and it was 120.00 ….. it did the job
- 4/5
Stay went well. Room was clean. Easy parking and lot was well lit at night. Nice staff
- 3/5
We are pretty disappointed with the price we paid and won't be returning to this property.
- 2/5
The staff was very nice and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The location had a lot of fast food/easy restaurants to go to. However, it was dirty and felt dirty. Pool window looked like there were bullet holes in them. However, we did feel safe. When I asked my kids if they loved it, they said it was the best hotel! Mind you they are 3 and 7 yrs old but they had fun and that is what is important along with proper treatment from staff. When we checked out the front desk staff gave my kids a treat for the road.
- 1/5
Rented two room. Rooms smelled terrible, ceiling falling in, phone didn’t work, drawer wouldn’t work. Would never stay again
- 5/5
The room’s window opens (Actually… Opens!) to an expansive field of grass surrounded by mature trees... So, fresh air and nature are right here! The room provides all the basics, no things or prople are pretentious, the service is good, and all at a great low price. Plus, is close to my planned activities.
- 4/5
it was easy to get a reservation for one night and it was reasonably priced was clean and everyone was very friendly and helpful would stay there again
- 4/5
Pool was closed.
- 5/5
Love this hotel
- 5/5
Stay here every time in Bloomington
- 3/5
Maybe the area will be slated for improvement, as there is road construction nearby, but why are hotels not helpful with the idea of walking around and being able to serve people in wanting to get something to eat and sit outside after traveling all day? This area has a Starbucks close, but hard to walk to. Meanwhile, to have to hang out in the room was tough as the room smelled musty and actually felt damp. The a/c unit had black mould growing on it. And of course, mattress was old and saggy. This is typical in hotels, we find. Total bummer. Traveling is already potentially hard and unpleasant. There is opportunity here to make it feel better to be away from home!
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
We reserved a room with king size bed , got somehow got a queen size bed
- 5/5
Would definitely stay here again!
