Very good

Breakfast was really cheap choices of a lot of sugar and cheap bagels . Coffee was not even brown water Tile floor in room didn’t feel clean to walk on barefoot . Breakfast was poor choices and quality
- 0.5/5
Only thing I saw that was a nice feather was they had hard floors instead of carpet At first when walking in was a little run down. Once getting to room I saw hard floors and that was nice to see .But here what was wrong in room outlet didn't work or cords fell out. Restroom area need work water trickel and area was small fridge and freezer didn't keep stuff cold and ice was dropping in freezer and it was on.Tv controller wasn't for that tv and when asked they show me button to work.My family had 3 room we were there for Special Olympics event so we were making the best of situation since we were gone most of the time. But this top the visit off at 2 am my daughter and grandson which were in room 401 they woke up with something crawling on them. My daughter was all bit up and when they address front desk they asked for proof , her bites were not enough so they went back to room and found one in sheet all full of blood. At this time as anyone know everything need to be heated so at 2 am were sitting in car drying all our clothes so we didn't bring any bedbugs home. And as we left here what was seen as we were driving out we pass the dumpster and they had many mattress and box spring stack up
- 4/5
The room was ok but very dated.
- 2/5
The smell was horrible like a mildew smell and I am very sensitive to small and it was awful. The room could be cleaned better
- 1/5
Very poor
- 3.5/5
Location no far from where I should attend I didn’t like there was air of pets everywhere. I’ve kids and we don’t like pets
- 2/5
My family had to move rooms three times before we were somewhat satisfied with one. The first room's a/c was not working properly. In the second room there were bugs. In the third room, the smell was smoky. Finally, the fourth room was ok, we could not take a shower.

The convenience off of the interstate. Breakfast was decent for the price of the hotel. It really needs an update. If you're claustrophobic you will not like the bathrooms. Way too small!
- 2/5
Not well maintained, below what I expected for a Days Inn

Nothing. It was dirty, not comfortable, the staff was very dismissive and beyond rude. I just worked a 16 hour shift and was met with this nasty room with poor service. I was woken out of my sleep by a bed bug crawling on me.

There was a person already in our assigned room when we got there. We had to relocate.
- 2.5/5
Passable
- 3/5
No shampoo or coffee maker in room.
- 3/5
The room we were placed in was not the room in the photo when I booked. We were placed on the 2nd floor, but there are no elevators, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. I am not handicapped, but did have a knee replacement, and need the other knee replaced, so walking up stairs with luggage was not super easy either. The bathroom was incredibly small, and the tile around the edges of the floor did not appear to have ever been cleaned. The shower was slippery, and the shower curtain was stained. The TV was tiny and did not get any 'premium' channels, as the website stated. The channels that did come in were fuzzy. The pillows were flat and small. Thankfully, we were able to get additional pillows from the front desk, and those were better. The breakfast area was very small; there was no fruit, but they did have a waffle maker. I almost added some milk to my coffee, good thing I thought to smell it first. We did not bother to eat breakfast on the 2nd day, but on the 3rd morning, ants were crawling all over the counter. I let the clerk know, so he came out with a towel and wiped the counter, just up to the toaster and waffle maker. Within minutes, the ants came back. We were charged a substantial amount for a small, subpar room. I really wish I had booked at ANY of the other 3-4 hotels that had the same price. I assure you, if the pictures had been of the room we were given, I would NOT have booked this location at the price I was charged!
- 1/5
I waited for 30 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to check me in. Once she arrived, the young woman was very nice and helpful. There was no working elevator and I had to climb the filthy stairs with my luggage. The hallway was also filthy and the room was in terrible shape. I stayed 5 mins and checked out-forfeiting the money I had paid for two nights. I didn’t feel safe and the facilities were deplorable.
- 1/5
There was nothing good about this place. It smelled bad. The carpet was not clean. I had reservations for a room with a private hot tub and they didn't have it. I would never recommend that place to anyone.
- 1/5
Very outdated. We had adjoining rooms and the door split when we tried to open it sending the contents of the inside of the door all over the floor (we were traveling with 2 one year olds and a newborn). The rooms were not very clean. The beds were comfy though. If it was just a quick stay over night to lay your head down for a few hours, it is worth the price…..if not I would pass.
- 1/5
Didn’t get the correct room
- 1/5
The entire place inside and outside was atrocious. This disgusting building needs to be gutted or torn down. The online photos are entirely deceiving and in no way what you find when you arrive.
- 1/5
Mouse droppings in sleeping area. No drinking cups. Pillows smelt of cigarette smoke. Bed had to be unmade in order to utilize the sheet and blanket. Refrigerator made a knocking sound off and on. Downspout in tub was filthy. And an analog tv?? Walls were paper thin. Could hear the entire conversation of the neighbors.
- 1/5
We had no shower curtain no volume on tv the floors were crooked the doors did not close properly water leaking into a bucket in hallway beds were terible
- 1/5
There were ants around the syrup container lid in the breakfast area. But other than that, it was a nice stay. Plenty of restaurants and very convenient.
- 1/5
Do not stay here. Its dirty, u can definitely find a better place near. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!
- 3/5
breakfast was decent. It seems they are doing remodeling. We had a room in the back so we went to the back parking lot, it was dark, garbage all over in the grass area. There was a man siting by the building on the ground, homeless? I was getting my suitcase out and he was yelling and screaming out me about I don’t know what. He scared me to say the least. We did move our car back to the front of thebuilding, but felt unsafe all night. The beds were made really wierd, hard to get in them with how they short sheeted the bed, and the fan on the ceiling in the bathroom and on the heater were too loud to run. As I said, I can see they’re trying to make some improvements so I’ll give them a 4 for that!
- 1/5
I guess you get what you pay for?
- 3/5
Room not clean. Foreign objects on floor next to sink that I didn't want to touch.
- 2/5
Breakfast was basic, bagels, toast, cereal and waffles. Building has mold in walls. Shower/toilet room very small, no shower curtain and door is warped from water damage. Refrigerator and tv were unplugged and Refrigerator had musty odor. Floor warped near window.
- 1/5
Didnt eat breakfast by the way the rooms look was afraid to eat
- 5/5
Clean, comfy beds
- 1/5
Room in poor condition flaking off paint dirty floors did not want handicap room had better rooms available
- 1/5
Duty rooms
- 2/5
The bathroom was dirty. Broken electronics like the lamp and bathroom lights. The bathroom had no bathroom door. I went to the front dddk and waited a day for a manager on duty to return my inquiry. No follow up on their end.
- 3/5
Overall rooms were clean. Nice staff. Lots of parking. Shower room very small. Some of the appliance did not work. Some rooms did not have a microwave 😐
- 3/5
Affordable but very run down
- 1/5
We booked a king room but were given a room with one double bed… and the other bed completely missing. Don’t worry though—they thoughtfully left the headboard behind, which really tied the empty space together. Naturally, we were a little concerned about why a bed had been removed in the first place. After requesting a different room (since there were two of us), we were moved to a king room. Unfortunately, the sheets clearly hadn’t been cleaned—there were stains, rips, and holes. We had to ask for clean sheets and make the bed ourselves. Also worth mentioning—the fridge looked like it had been used for target practice. It was so dented up I honestly wasn’t sure what had happened to it. And breakfast? If you can call it that. Think cardboard muffins and rubbery waffles. I guess you really do get what you pay for—but even at a budget price, basic cleanliness and accuracy in booking shouldn’t be too much to expect.
- 2/5
Not maintained well. Very run down.
- 5/5
All good
- 4/5
Friendly employees, good breakfast, close to eat, gas and a Walmart. Very much worth the money.
- 4/5
Good value for the price.
- 4/5
Goofy way they make the bed. They fold the sheets in half and tuck them in. Requires you to completely un-make the bed for the sheet and blanket cover the bed…
- 5/5
Very budget hotel
- 2/5
It’s cheap, but there’s a reason for it.
- 1/5
The dirtiest room we’ve ever had!
- 3/5
No hot water for 3 days
- 3/5
Friendly staff.. ok hotel for a night
- 4/5
Nice room
- 4/5
Front desk person was super friendly even with a 5 person deep line at midnight last Friday
- 3/5
This property is old and not in the greatest condition. However, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful.
- 2/5
Tub in bathroom was missing parts and drain was bent.
- 2/5
There was no heat in the room it was freezing
- 3/5
The room had a foot long crack in the door, holes in the wall. Warped flooring, with glue on top of the flooring.
- 5/5
Everything was just what i needed plus the staff was pleasant and helpful. I definitely recommend it.
- 4/5
The room was very clean and warm with all the normal amenities.
- 5/5
Beautiful upgrade. Very clean & welcoming.
- 1/5
No heat, minus 20 degrees. Bed bug sprayed in one of our rooms, clerk was pleasant and smiling when refunded our money.
- 3/5
Had to ring bell for attendant at desk. Would be nice to have person there. Very small bathroom. Really appreciate shower, very good water pressure! Price a bit high for oldness of motel.
- 1/5
Room was DISGUSTING bed was brown woth piss stains on the sheets ceiling cracking aroind the entire room bugs in it and fithy the lady checked me in with no shoes on barefoot. unprofessional gross and terrible sevice.
- 3/5
Parking lot felt unsafe. Rooms were clean but the hotel needs updating.
- 3/5
My room was dirty
- 1/5
No hot water in shower
- 4/5
Nice variety for breakfast. Beds are kind of hard and there was dried blood on the comforter. Staff was apologetic and very kind. The rest of the room was clean and great shape.
- 2/5
Disrepair. Poor cleaning. Terrible odor from the cleaning chemicals on the lamenant (no carpet) floor of the room.
- 1/5
First room we were given had no shower head and walls were dirty so we asked for a new one. The second one had cigarette burn holes in bed spread, curtain rod that was half falling off, dead roaches in the mini fridge and worst of all several live roaches in the fridge! It was appalling, we left immediately! Would 100% NOT recommend
- 5/5
Staff
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Exelent
- 3/5
Overall comfortable. There were a few items that required Maintenance that were brought to the attention of the Hotel Staff
- 2/5
The room smelled like marijuana. Spaces behind the bed and furniture had not been cleaned in a very long time. The tub in the bathroom was cracked and peeling and difficult to stand in. I didn’t see any bugs or blood so that was what kept this from a one-star rating.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Clean
- 3/5
The room was clean and reasonably priced but i really dislike the way your staff makes the bed. The sheets and blanket are tucked in such a way that it's necessary to totally disassemble them before i could slide into bed.
- 2/5
Could have been cleaned better and 3 lights didn't work in room.
- 5/5
Room was clean, only dealt with 2 staff members for a second or two but both were curious...i enjoyed the big bed and was comfy!! Left a place for the same price too go to this one and way better!
- 4/5
Room was very clean and the staff very polite
- 1/5
The floor slants so steeply it was difficult to walk on! The side table was dirty. The bed sheet, blanket and spread were all folded separately in half so that you cant pull them up to get in. I had to remake the bed to get in! Who doesn’t know how to make s bed?!
- 3/5
Staff was courteous, room was clean, but no drinking cups in the bathroom, had to use a coffee cup. Toilet kept making a drip sound alnight. Closing the toilet door kind of helped. Breakfast was great.
- 4/5
Room was clean
- 3/5
Half the tv channels didn't work and the picture was staticy....toilet didn't have enough power to flush. Couple of cracks/holes in wall
- 3/5
Room was better than I thought it would be. Maybe it was just our room, but our shower was a disaster. It was ice cold unless you had it all the way on the hot side. Even then, it was scorching hot. Other than that. It was a pretty good visit
- 2/5
Not for us, not for clerk. New keys, finally worked, but…..1/2 a dozen lady bugs in the room, black mold on ceiling, black mold under air conditioner. Water coming in either through a/c or window. ( it was pouring out) Great location for our purpose, close to food& shopping. EZ access to highway. Friendly enough staff.
- 2/5
Rooms are in sad condition and need a substantial amount of work.
- 1/5
I would recommend not staying at this hotel. The air conditioning/heater had visible black mold on the vent (have photo proof), the cabinet that held the microwave and mini fridge had visible water damage on the bottom (like the room had flooded, also have photo proof) and was falling apart. We went down for breakfast about 45 minutes before it ended and nothing had been restocked (no fruit, yogurt or orange juice) so choices were very limited. Also no protein choices, only waffles, oatmeal, muffins, bagels and cereal. Half and half containers for coffee were old or spoiled as they were thick and chunky upon opening. Also, shower diverter in bathroom was broken so you literally had to hold the pull up in order for water to come out of shower head.
- 2/5
We expected more from Days Inn. There was no elevator so for two elderly women to get suitcases up the two flights of stairs was a challenge. The toilet seat was broken and slid around. Floor in the bathroom was dirty. Door in bathroom was coming apart at the bottom. The top bed sheet was short sheeted and we had to tear the whole bed apart to get our top sheet out. The beds themselves were not bad.
- 2/5
Our room was dank, smelled terrible, and the bathroom door didn't work. There was only one working outlet in the room. The TV had static on all 9 channels (whoopee 9 channels). Not sure what decade the hotel pictures were taken but it hasn't been updated in many years. Will never choose this property again. Breakfast was minimal/standard continental food.
- 3/5
Clean enough. I just needed a quick overnight stay. Could be dirtier, could be be cleaner. Breakfast available at 6 am, but I checked out before breakfast started so I don't know what was served.
- 2/5
Dirty and ill kept. Feel like i need a tetanus shot.
- 1/5
Just felt gross, there were a couple bugs on the toilet, sink and floor. The floor was not clean along with the shower. The curtain was broken which wasn’t ideal either. After assessing the cleanliness of the room I just wasn’t able to get comfortable. Not really much of a problem with the staff breakfast or parking more of the actual room itself.
- 4/5
The breakfast was mediocre, but the price for the room was good. There are always tradeoffs.
- 5/5
Building has some old fixtures ut is well maintained. Very clean. Friendly at the desk. Great stay for the money.
- 3/5
Yes
- 2/5
Television wasn’t working properly. Only snow on the set. Said they’d be there in five minutes. Proximately one hour later they came. television had to be reset. Still had a lot of jumping around of the screen. Finally showed up about an hour later and I told them to just go away.
- 1/5
The sheets were dirty and the room was not clean and smelled awful. The AC did not work either. We asked the staff to change the sheets and they were nice and accommodating.
- 5/5
When I arrived, I almost didn't recognize the place. The parking lot was smooth and repaved; building painted a nice fresh color. Beautiful face lift it needed. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice! She was simply delightful, which set my visit off to a great start!
- 5/5
We had the most amazing experience! Here from MN for traveling son in hospital. Needed sleep and to rejuvenate.... had the BEST night of sleep in a spacious comfortable king size bed! Special thanks to
- 1/5
It was awful. The room smelked like cigarette smoke, the TV didnt work until the front desk guy came and screwed in the cable, the bathroom is small, the whole room was dirty and some other room was parting eith loud music till 4am. This one is off my list to stay at.
- 3/5
Bathroom was not clean.
- 3/5
No frills hotel with a little bit of wear and tear to it.
- 2/5
Hallways and carpets were filthy and felt damp. You can tell this is a hotel used mostly for the construction workers who travel fixing roads. Nothing against them, but this hotel has seen better days.
- 3/5
Basic breakfast. Check in was slow but understandable sonce the woman was in training.
- 1/5
Cigarettes found in my room. Non smoking hotel. And roaches. Got a new room floors dirty. No roaches but some ants.
- 3/5
- 2/5
Overall condition was poor. There were flies in the room and it had a bad odor. Additionally, the bed was very uncomfortable and felt like I was sleeping on only springs. Will not be staying here again.
- 3/5
The bathroom toilet continued to flush, towels were ripped, there was body wash in the bathroom from a previous guest. The room smelled of mildew and the air looked like it had mold in the vents. There was a door in the room with water damage and over all just felt dirty being in the room
- 1/5
The room was dirty unclean and I will never go back there.
- 4/5
Only thing we issue with was when we got back to hotel there was a puddle of water under the air conditioner but the young man came right away an cleaned it. We woke the next morning had a grass hopper on the bed. But over all it was nice.
- 5/5
Staff has been pleasant for the 5 years we've been staying here.
- 2/5
Really run down and poorly maintained
- 1/5
First, a very bad experience, I know I didn't pay much, but at least it should be cleaner.
- 3/5
Ice machine was very noisy in room 122.
- 2/5
Cold Shower not hot. No cups in room for coffee. Look like gum spots on the floor. Looked like some remodeling was done.
- 5/5
The place was clean and the staff was friendly.
- 1/5
It was terrible hotel super old and also no handicapped Bards like a asked for my mom and i are disabled we had such a rough time. We traveled to meet my 1st grandchildren what a bad experience terrible
- 3/5
It was old and disgusting. I will never stay there again.
- 4/5
Good value. Breakfast was lacking in variety. No eggs or meat.
- 3/5
Bathrooms were very run down
- 3/5
For the price it was fine. My wife has a bad back and I was shocked there was no elevator.
- 3/5
Basic amenities. It's Days Inn.
- 5/5
Close to downtown shops and restaurants.
- 1/5
Disgusting rooms that looked like a prison cell. I immediately left without even putting my things down.
- 5/5
I was supposed to check in Friday, but I was to tired to drive. I called to discuss my options and the man at the front desk was very nice and explained my options. I did arrive early Saturday morning and was kind enough to leave notes in the system so the check in went smoothly. This place is busy, yet quiet and orderly if that makes sense. I like it there! Just a good vibe.
- 4/5
It was a nice hotel kinda out dated and no elevator! Which for me it was horrible i had 2 Engliah Bulldogs and they dont do stairs very well.
- 5/5
Staff very friendly. A great value
- 1/5
Trap motel. Terrible smelling trap motel
- 4/5
It was fine needs updating. Great breakfast
- 5/5
convenient to college campus --needs a little update but ok for quick visit--loved being close to Cracker Barrel
- 2/5
The hotel was in need of complete renovations
- 5/5
Handy. Clean.
- 5/5
You get what you pay for.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 2/5
Bed was terrible, very hard
- 5/5
Young lady at check in was super nice and fast.
- 5/5
Excellent staff
- 1/5
The sheets were all stained, holes in the wall, cracked walls. I would not recommend. Room smelled like cigarettes. Maybe would be worth it if rooms cost about 15-20$ a night
- 5/5
The room was clean and neet. The outside of the hotel was clean and neet also. Very safe building and close to a gas station and restaurants.
- 2/5
Had to be switched to another room as toilet didn’t flush. Should have been checked before occupancy. Went to desk for clean towels and were told we had to bring used towels to desk to get clean ones.
- 2/5
Out of date, bathroom looked dirty and I found a bug in the bed.
- 2/5
Room was not the cleanest. Walls need to be cleaned. Furniture needs to be pulled out and cleaned behind. Bed was not comfortable. Breakfast was under whelming it consisted of cereal, toast bagels and waffles not really any hot breakfast items or protien options. Staff was friendly. It was a cheap room and served its purpose for the night.
- 3/5
Very old and could use some updates.
- 4/5
Easy check-in and very friendly lady at the front desk. No frills property, but clean, and felt safe. Very quiet. Good nights sleep. Good value.
- 5/5
Great atmosphere, easy check in.
- 1/5
A lot of cookie wrappers from some previous visitor under the bed. USB plugin beside my bed was a great idea but it didn't work. Sheet was on over a blanket on the bed, without a bedspread (in other words, the top sheet was on top of the out blanket, like the bed was made upside down).
- 3/5
Rate was good. Very outdated facility
- 5/5
Hotel was a great value for a budget hotel.
- 1/5
Nonsmoking room was clearly an old smoking room from the stifling stench that nearly knocked me off my feet when I walked in. There was actually crap on the walls around the toilet. There was mold in the refrigerator. I slept in my clothes and left after one night of a 2 night stay.
- 5/5
Clean, good customer service, good price
- 1/5
I will never stay at a days inn again. I’m disabled and was clearly walking with a cane and the front desk person would not let me wait in the lobby until I could check in. I had no car as I took an Uber there and had to walk a long way to find somewhere to wait. When I checked in she gave me a 2nd floor room-there are no elevators-even though there were only 5 occupied rooms in the ENTirE hotel (literally less than 5 cars in the parking lot). I did get a dirty room with the cable not working on the first floor when I complained. Gall was filled with cigar smoke.
- 5/5
Service was absolutely wonderful.
- 2/5
Efficient check in process. Whole property smelled of smoke. Sink smelled of mildew. No elevator. Could hear other tenants. Tv was outdated & had a very bad picture. Lumpy & worn out mattresses. Somebody else’s shirts were in the closet. Pricey considering all of these issues.
- 4/5
The tub had a huge melted spot about 6" across in the center of the tub. The bed was really hard.
- 2/5
My stay was quiet and staff were nice. However, the bathroom was disgusting and needed cleaning. It looked like the bedding wasn’t cleaned between guests which I think is very gross. The floor was sticky and I found 2 cockroaches during my stay. I would not stay here again.
- 5/5
It was a great stay
- 2/5
The hotel was kind of a dump
- 4/5
For the money, this was a decent stay. The room was clean and had good bed linens. The bathroom was renovated, though nothing was outstanding—it was simply clean, with new paint and a new vanity area.
- 2/5
Not sure if the sheets were changed from the previous occupant as they were rumpled and Had specks between the sheets. Toilet and seat were loose and tub had cracks in the bottom that were patched poorly. Hot water never got hot. At check in we were told I got their cheapest room they had because of the online rate I paid…a mobility room which to me seemed another way of giving us a sub standard room. I will not stay at another Days in after this experience.
- 5/5
no thank you
- 5/5
Very nice room. Quiet and convenient.
- 4/5
Ok place clean smelled good
- 5/5
Nothing great just a place id stay again
- 2/5
Outdated and dirty
- 2/5
The check in was great. The lady was very friendly. Then it went down hill quick. I was eating dinner and got a phone call from my Student. Im a trainer for a trucking company. Shes was freaking out about some guy banging on her truck yelling she needed to move. I called 4 houra before we got there if truck parking was allowed. I told the nice lady when i checked in that my student was in the semi and will be staying in there and ill be in the room. She also gave me a room by the truck so i could keep an eye on it. Woke up in the middle of the night, used the bathroom and there was a roach using it before me.
- 4/5
It's ok.
- 1/5
The sheets was durty. After a person checkinh up they don't change the bed sheet they only fixed the bed. But under the sheets is dirty. I don't recommend this hotel.
- 4/5
The room was clean and neat. It had not been updated in a while, but I didn’t choose it for the decor. Breakfast was included, and I think coffee was available anytime. I was only looking for a comfortable place to stay for one night and I found it.
- 2/5
When we arrived the toilet was so dirty, i thought that housekeeping comes everyday i left a note with a money tip asking for extra towels but they never came in
- 4/5
Nice and clean
- 3/5
It was good
- 5/5
All about the room appeared freshly cleaned. The desk clerk was very helpful and courteous.
- 2/5
The air conditioner sounded like a vacuum turning on every 10 minutes. We did not get much sleep at all because of that. The tv remote did not work, it doesn't respond when channels are being changed. The chair in the room was very dirty. The tub was very strange with the coating it had, it was so rough and dark gray it would be hard to know how clean it was. We were only there for one night, around 10 hours really, and were charged over $160. We did have 2 little dogs and $20 per dog is quite a lot to pay. We do not plan on returning. One person was sitting on the ground up against one of the hotel doors in the back so that was strange.
- 5/5
Great place for a one night stay. Front desk service was excellent! Best toilet paper I’ve had in a hotel room in years!
- 2/5
Desperately needs thorough cleaning!

May be renovated, but definitely not clean!

I travel a lot and the bed were the worst I have ever slept on. They had some plastic or something on them so everytime you moved, they “crinkled”. Also, the entire hotel was out of hot water. Not convienent when we’ve been standing in dirt for hours at a concert
- 3/5
our room was not in the same building as the main check in . Very inconvenient.
- 5/5
Good basic lodging at a reasonable price. I loved that it was next door to the Cracker Barrel.
- 2/5
Our room had a distasteful aroma. The floor was uneven in places and in general disrepair. The facility badly needs a facelift. The only saving grace was the young lady at the front desk. She went the extra mile make you feel welcome.

This hotel is in need of upgrades big time. The bed and sheets were clean, but there were stains on the wall by where the garbage can would be and in the bathroom. The free breakfast could be improved as well. We paid $300 to stay here because of Illinois State University's late night graduation. That was way over-priced for this hotel.
- 4/5
I was doubtful that we’d stay when we pulled up - the outside isn’t inviting at all and is run down. But the room was really clean and quiet. Good for an overnight. We’d stay here again when passing through.
- 5/5
Accommodating, clean, close to food. Good price

After looking at the unit they rented to us, we asked to cancel our reservation because of the off-putting smell in the room. We were allowed to cancel with a refund. The carpeting and lobby furniture appears soiled. There was nothing that looked inviting. This hotel is aged and in need of cleaning and upgrading. It appears that this location is primarily used for the homeless, which is not an excuse to be as rundown as it is.
- 2/5
Place is dirty and restrooms are not clean
- 2/5
However, no smoke detector, large cracks around the ceiling/wall interface. The door between rooms was falling apart and screwed together. Strong cigarette and marijuana odor.
- 5/5
Very clean room! Friendly staff.
- 5/5
The hotel staff was very friendly. There is quite a bit of traffic since the hotel is near the interstate, so there is a bit of noise outside of the hotel. Overall, the stay was great.
- 2/5
Rooms need to be updated
- 5/5
Good property for the price
- 5/5
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very nice. The room was clean and safe. The only complaint I have was the bed was awful. You could feel every spring. The surrounding area felt a little unsafe but not the hotel.
- 4/5
Good breakfast l clean older hotel. Room comfortable
- 1/5
In need of desperate upgrades my tv barely showed seems to be still on analog tv my picture wasn’t clear at all limited channels I think I had 8 bath tub had caulk in it that had dried from old repairs, it all reminded me of an old drug infested place that had barely gotten rid of the drug addicts sorry to say , if u just desperate and need last minute place to crash maybe but if u can afford to avoid please do so!
- 5/5
Room was clean and very well kept. Only issue I had was after I returned later that evening - hallway smelled of cigarette usage, That cannot be blamed on the hotel or its staff as it didn't smell before I left. Very friendly check in. room was big. I will stay again for my trips to this area.

This is a hotel used by construction crews - it is fine but it is basic and the property reflects a lot of usage. We were there for one night and it worked, but it is an aging facility.
- 1/5
They were rude
- 1/5
Room was dirty, linen was just tucked in and never changed , bathroom filthy
- 4/5
Sound like this is a usual occurrence. You would think it would be part of a check list or something someone would check. After a long day driving, I just wanted to relax and watch a specific football game.
- 2/5
Room was covered in a layer of dust. Curtains did not fully close. Bathroom floor was not clean. Room smelled like stale smoke. Bathtub water initially came out brown. Shower head was terrible.
- 2/5
There was no door to the restroom and the microwave had a zip tie on the plug. I guess they didn’t want you to use a microwave. The room was clean and the staff was very efficient and friendly.
- 4/5
When I arrived frustrated and tired from driving. I was greeted by a beautiful, friendly lady. She immediately changed my bad mood to a happy one! She was nice & pleasant! The room was clean and near exit for my doggie. I definitely will return, this my new go to escape place. Thank you Days Inn Bloomington, Illinois.
- 3/5
Internet didn't work on my end of the building, not enough signal to log in. TV has Comcast, but without the local channels. That means no morning news program.
- 4/5
The juices offered for breakfast tasted watery.
- 1/5
The air conditioning was off in our room when we arrived and it took all night for the room to cool off. The toilet handle was broken completely when we arrived and the hair dryer was broken. One bed’s mattress was the hardest bed any of us had ever seen. It didn’t have any give at all. The other was tolerable. Breakfast foods were really low quality. When I told the checkout person about the broken items, she didn’t even react, let alone apologize or make a note of it. We would definitely not return.
- 4/5
I would have given it 4 stars if my key cards weren’t deactivated 20 minutes prior to check out time. And instead of apologizing, the reception clerk told me that’s it’s almost 11am.
- 5/5
Place was clean. We just spent the night and left. It was fine and the bed was comfortable.
- 4/5
Clean and close to the interstate.
- 3/5
The room and facilities were clean. The walls are thin; loud neighbors were heard in our room and by others.
- 3/5
Totally not what was advertised online in pictures… rundown and old with no working AC except in room. Rooms had a strong cleaning product smell. No elevator and lights not working in room
- 2/5
The front desk rep, unprompted by us, told us they would put us close to the front desk, essentially so we could feel more safe. AC unit didn't work. Since they were fully booked, they gave us a box fan at 1 in the morning when we couldn't sleep. Room felt 'grimey'. We are asking for a credit. We could camp with no AC for $30/night. You don't book a room if the AC doesn't work. Guaranteed one or more precious occupants of this room told them it didn't work.
- 3/5
No elevators even though its a multi level hotel. Bathrooms were dirty. Bed linens were not true to bed size.
- 4/5
Check in was fine but there were computer problems that it took a long time to get checked in.
- 1/5
Poor customer service
- 1/5
rooms were filthy with food in the refrigerator and when i told the stff at the front counter she began to yell at me. my daughter heard it all the way down the hall in her room. She said I brought the food there and put it in the fridge myself. lol never ever stay at this place!!!!
- 3/5
It was a place to sleep overnight for $150. Property seemed to be in a slow moving remodel. Property next door was an abandoned hotel. WI-FI did not work for my Apple IPad.
- 4/5
Just passing thru
- 1/5
It was a very bad night. I found a big mouse in my room. I didn't sleep until I left
- 3/5
Is very outdated. Room was clean but not condition of hotel and items in room was poor. Mattress was extremely uncomfortable
- 1/5
Bathroom not clean. Feces.In toilet
- 4/5
We liked how our two border collies were able to be off-leash and run around. We liked the TV guide provided in the room. however, the first 20 channels were not available. And no Fifa Cup on any channel!
- 4/5
Conveniently located
- 3/5
I booked this stay for my Mom and the front desk lady ( owner) was super rude about pricing. We tried to book an extra 2 nights for her but the front desk lady would not price match it from the first 4 nights. Also, the cleaner that they used to clean the rooms was so stinky that my Mom would wake up each night and all her belongings smelled like it. Not relaxing or worth the money. The room was not great either. Overall, not good service or a place we would recommend anyone to stay at.
- 2/5
There were people up and down the hall all night slamming doors and knocking on our door. You could smell weed all up and down our hall. There were lots of people sitting in the parking lot.

Room 225: bathroom dirty, key not working, toilet barely flushing, break-in marks on the door lock, chain & deadbolt missing, door not shutting right, AC took hours to start, the staircase door leading outside was not closed... We barricaded our room door with luggages. Front desk was friendly though.
