Very nice

We waited 15 minutes for someone to check us in. The room was small but clean. However the shower door would not stay shut and it was necessary to use a washcloth in the door track to hold it shut. VERY INCONVENIENT! Would NOT recommend this motel and will never use it again!

The pool was closed waiting for an inspection. On the positive the breakfast was good and it was right on the Interstate.

The bathroom was clean…the walls were kind of dirty (like crusties and drip stains)…there were flying ants (we killed 3)… and the tv was really not easy to navigate. :/ It was a space to sleep for the night so it fulfilled our purposes. Just think that overall the room itself could be cleaner.

This is fine if you’re gonna eat breakfast somewhere else. I had the one king bed, sofa, and coffee table room and it was very nice. I liked having an actual closet because I typically stay three or four nights on business trips. It’s essential to have a place to hang my daily clothing. The shower could’ve been a little warmer. I would stay here again.

The property is older but in good repair. Had an updated bathroom. Large room, comfortable bed. Breakfast was good, some hot and cold options. I'd stay again. Clean, safe and quiet.

What a hidden gem! The hotel was very clean and our room was spacious. We both agreed that it was one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept on. The staff was nice and welcoming. Will definitely stay again if we make our way back through.

Safe, comfy bed, nice hot and cold breakfast choices, great shower, nicely updated bathrooms(rooms, not so much) and very friendly staff. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because there is some attention to detail needed…broken and wonky lamps/shades, chips and scratched up walls, carpets not vacuumed in one of my rooms(stayed there on the way there and back from my destination), advertised coffee pot in my room and there wasn’t(but had the cups and coffee supplies), so I asked at the desk and was told they don’t have them in the rooms?!? There WAS a coffee pot in my second room. Not a big thing, but I do like to have that first cup in my room, in my robe, before getting dressed and heading to the lobby. All in all, it was a good stay and I felt safe as a female traveling alone and slept GREAT!

The property was well maintained. However there was a ticking sound coming from the back of the TV that kept me up all night. Breakfast was good. Pillows were terrible.

This hotel was fine for a one night’s stay. It had comfy beds and a pretty good breakfast, however the rooms need to be updated (furniture was worn and scratched) and fresh paint needed on the walls. Bathrooms were decent, but tub didn’t drain well. Also, walls/ceiling were fairly thin - we could hear footsteps above us in the middle of the night.

While the hotel and breakfast were excellent, and the morning staff fantastic, our initial check-in experience was less than ideal. It's a shame when the first impression isn't a positive one, as it truly sets the tone for the stay. 😔

The room was nice, clean and comfortable when we arrived. Love the daily maid service. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Have stayed before an would stay again.

We had a truck and livestock trailer and we were told it would fit in the parking lot, it did, but not very well. We had to park other vehicles in to make it work.

Great breakfast menu, was hot and fresh every morning.

Breakfast was good. Enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. Only real complaint was no coffee pot in the room.

Room was clean but otherwise in bad shape maintenance wise. Many simple things that could be attended too but are not being done. I also don't appreciate having to ring a bell to get the attention of the front desk staff. That is just being lazy and not paying attention to your guests.

The hotel needs an upgrade. Carpet dirty and unraveling in places. Wallpaper peeling off the walls. Breakfast was ok, had to tell the staff the waffle container was empty and also coffee was empty at breakfast and also in the lobby.

The room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable. The room was about 80 degrees when we arrived, but we were able to reset the unit and get the room cooler. We had to wait a bit for eggs, sausage and coffee (horrors!), but it arrived fairly quickly and we had no more troubles with breakfast items.

Have stayed in this hotel before. Breakfast is always a disappointment. Coffee is always out. Sausage was out this time too.

The bed was comfortable. The “free breakfast” was not good. No scrambled eggs, and the waffle machine was to difficult to use.

The beds were comfortable. One of the beds in our room had something in it that bit my wife and son. They have multiple insect bites. The breakfast was poorly attended, and the person who was supposed to keep the food stocked was unfriendly and didn’t keep food available.

The room needed nothing - no perfume coverup odor, extra towels and pillows, extra large TV screen, everything clean and like new. The breakfast area was one of the best we have experienced.

The room was clean and comfortable and the bed was excellent. The TV too big to be right in front of the bed and the shower is beautiful but has NO handles or soap shelf for safety and convenience! Staff was very nice and breakfast was good.

great shower pressure & plenty of towels didn’t see an extra roll of toilet paper stocked anywhere which ended up not being a problem, but could have been wish more hotels had no pet options and if you do allow pets, keep some rooms strictly pet free

We had driven nearly 600 miles upon arrival. The young man at the desk was one of the nicest people you can meet. He answered questions and gave good instructions. Our room was nice, the a/c worked great, and we slept well. Breakfast was appreciated and enjoyed the biscuits and gravy! Thank you for a clean and well managed hotel!

Bathroom was remodeled and clean. Rest of the room was dark, dingy, dirty, lamp shade wasnt able to sit right on stand. Beds were uncomfortable and we were right by the back door so it waa noisy. For the amount of money we had to pay it was terrible. We paid over 150$ we did book last minute and probably got the worst room.

Other than the fridge being too loud (prob just this room) everything went great. Have stayed here before and never had an issue.

We had to wait for breakfast items, eggs and sausages, but it looked like a newer person was taking care of things.

Now the negative - when we arrived we waited 5 minutes at the front desk and rang the bell a few times before someone arrived to check us in. Our room smelled like smoke and there was not bedding on the pull out bed and no sheets to make the bed.

Just white bread...3 yoghurts forr all guests nothing really fixed..all at 6.15am.. Comment at complain was have not done shopping for breakfast.

Way overpriced for the condition of the hotel. While clean.our room had holes in blackout curtains. Chest had corners knocked off and toilet paper roll holder was missing. Looks like it had been ripped out of the wall and no one bothered to repair or replace it.

I like the layout of the room and the bed was very nice. The furniture needs replacing. The table was rickety that I was afraid to put much in it. The couch has seen much better days. The fold out suitcase rack was do bad I didn’t dare put my suitcase on it.

Loved this hotel, rooms are nice, big, comfortable, and for us first floor and close to dining area. This was a fun trip from home to Minnesota to visit Snake Discovery, then return trip home through Bloomington. A one night stay that was better than our three nights in Minnesota.

The employee who checked me in was rude. I was the only one checking in but was treated as if I had pulled him away from something very important

We stayed at the Bloomington IL Comfort Suites on our way home and was pleasantly surprised on the accommodations. The room was clean, well appointed, and quite comfortable. It hit all our boxes and the price was definitely right. But the most impressive part of the trip was 3 hours after we left, I got a message that my husband had left our dirty laundry bag in the bathroom and Cristos (sorry if incorrect spelling) went above and beyond to help us get it returned to us. Not many hotels would even contact us if we left something behind, let alone help us retrieve our belongings, even if it is just dirty laundry. Comfort Suites has now become my new favorite hotel while traveling and I will go out of my way to check them out first. Thank you Comfort Suites and your team. You made us feel very welcomed and cared for.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was an Aldi's, Walmart, and a couple of restaurants near by and some were walking distance from the hotel. Me and my husband enjoyed our stay.

The staff were SO nice. The gym equipment is pretty run down and squeaky, and there isn’t much of it. There were no cups or towels in the fitness area either. The rooms are large and clean. The bathrooms have been updated.

The staff was very courteous at check-in and out. The rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable. The only complaint i have is the freezer section of the refrigerator needs defrosted and the refrigerator wasnt very cold. Overall it was a nice stay. If i am ever in the area again i would definitely stay again

Very nice facility, but there is no place to put the soap, shampoo and conditioner in the handicap shower. Had to put it on the floor outside the shower which was hard to reach for those of us with disabilities.

Other than the refrigerator, the room was very quiet. We didn’t hear doors slamming and the elevator was clean, quiet and didn’t smell. The free breakfast was only okay. The location was well back from the roads (quiet).

We had a great stay - found the room to be very clean and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great. We spend one night in Bloomington yearly and will book this hotel again.

The refrigerator did not work, and the water pressure was low, either the shower head needs cleaning, or low water pressure. Other than that i loved the room.

For the most part everything was fine. However, I keys needed to be replaced a few times, one room's phone didn't work, and we had to ask for toilet paper.

I had the best experience working this out with the agent and hotel! I can’t describe how they went out of there way to help me. This was phenomenal customer service!

Time with my sister, did not stay the second night, she had a health issue, we had to return to Mattoon. We enjoyed our one night, everything was very clean, and a great breakfast.
