Great hotel to stop at on the way to Maggie Valley overnight. Easy in and out of the parking lot with a long trailer. Very polite and accommodating staff.

The only bad thing about my stay were the inconsiderate guests above me. I was in 327, and when the guests above me were in the room, I knew it. Lots of banging and walking around like elephants! But otherwise a very pleasant stay in a very nice hotel.

Yes, you can tell when you drive up to it that it is very well kept. The room is very clean and the bathroom pristine. Bed and bedding clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff.

Pet fee is exorbitant - and is mentioned nowhere in the registration process. When I arrived to check in I was told it is $75 for 1-4 nights - and that is the basic fee even for 1 night. I would have booked elsewhere had I known about this fee.

Loved the location and the layout of the hotel. Breakfast was adequate, and the staff was super friendly. Housekeeping did not provide fresh towels during our stay, and I had to go to the front desk to get clean towels/washcloths.

This is the 2nd year in a row staying at this Hampton Inn and you can't control the temperature in the rooms....it is very hot even with air conditioning on and both times have been in January!

Breakfast was good, staff was helpful amd friendly, location to downtown was great. We did not travel with an animal but noticed alot of guests did. You should have certain rooms reservered for those guests that have dogs. Unfortunately our room smelled like a wet dog, we just dealt with the smell.i would have preferred a room that did not previouly have an animal stay in it.

We LOVE staying at this Hampton Inn in Black Mountain!! The check-in and checkout are always seemless. The hotel is ALWAYS super clean. The staff is very courteous and friendly. The daily breakfasts are fresh and the coffee..hot and delicious.

Clerk at check in was very friendly and efficient. Room is clean and comfortable. Haven’t tried it yet but the breakfast looks to be the standard, free, mediocre breakfast you find at mid-level hotels.

We love to stay here when visiting Black Mountain. The only thing I could say that might need improvement is the caulk in our shower. It needs replacing as it looked moldy.

This hotel is our top voice for Black Mountain. Like most Hampton Inns, it is spacious and clean. Conveniently located to town.

My only complaint is a $75 pet fee. I have a cat. It seems especially high unless there was some damage issue, which there was not. She’s 12 years old so just sleeps 20 hours a day. Doesn’t climb or scratch.

Excellent breakfast, to go bag was very convenient for an early morning departure. Staff was super nice. Their clean-up efforts after the flooding were fantastic. A hot tub would have been appreciated, but otherwise my stay was wonderful.

I flew in from Michigan to connect with a hurricane victim and their family and the stay was one of the better experiences of my traveling. I am neurotic about staying anywhere other than my house and how clean a place is. By far your hotel exceeded my expectations and made up for my awful flight experience. The staff was very nice and I slept great which says alot for someone like myself and my friend who drove from Florida. We appreciated the experience after a long stressful day of traveling I will recommend and stay here again.

Nice property close to downtown black mountain. Clean with nice amenities. Nice “to go “ breakfast provided. The sound making machine in our room was a nice little bonus that helped us sleep well. 😴

We had a quiet restful evening. We were able to walk into town for dinner. We enjoyed a swim in the lovely salt water pool.

Pretty location, but you can hear footsteps above if there is a heavy footed guest.

The staff was nice, breakfast good but the room we stayed in smelled like dog or stale air. It wasn’t pleasant.

The Hampton Inn was very close to the interstate. Also was located away from the busy traffic areas in the town.

Nice, clean, updated location. The sliding barn door on the bathroom was nice in that it didn’t get in the way like many other hotel bathrooms but it was kind of hard to move, it seemed to stick a little. Friendly staff. Overall a good quick stop for us.

The Hotel was in a great location. Close to downtown and dog friendly as ee were traveling with our dog Daisy. The syaff were great with her. Always greeting us and petting her. Lived the big open area in back so she could have plenty of area to walk around. Everyone cleaned up after their pets. No piles of poo around to step in. Breakfast was good both days we were there. Would stay again if in the area.

The property was well maintained and very clean. One of the better hotels I’ve stayed at. It ranks right up there with the last resort I stayed in.Margaritaville in lake Conroe TX last April.

The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. I did not like their new policy on coming to clean the room, we stayed for 4 nights and unless we requested service to our room they did not come and clean or refresh towels. We just got our own towels from the front desk.

One of the best hotels I've stayed at in awhile.

This was a convenient, clean location for my husband and I for a camp drop-off for our kids outside of Asheville. Plenty of excellent dining and cocktails nearby and close to interstate. If you need to hit the road early or are there for a conference, breakfast at the hotel was perfectly adequate. If you’re there for leisure, there are several darling and delicious spots in town!

This is a very nice place to stay in blk mtn, walk to town, and its prices are great compared to other options there.

Aside from being right next to the interstate this is a great place! A little noisy but not horrible.
