We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Burkaty and would definitely come back. The location is perfect for skiing — just 2 minutes to the ski bus, which makes getting to the slopes very easy. The hotel also offers ski storage, which is very convenient after a long day outside. Our room was big, comfortable, and nicely designed, with a beautiful view of the slopes. Waking up to that view was a real highlight of our stay. The administrator was extremely friendly and welcoming. We arrived before our room was ready, and they kindly allowed us to leave our luggage, which made everything much easier for us. Breakfast was very good, with a large variety of food — everyone can find something they like. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the food was delicious with very generous portions. At the top of the hotel, there is a sauna and jacuzzi area. You need to sign up for a time slot at reception, but this is actually a great system because it helps avoid crowds and makes the experience more relaxing. Overall, a fantastic stay with great service, comfort, and location. Highly recommended! One small thing we didn’t like was that on the first day, some guests who didn’t know they needed to sign up for the sauna came without a reservation, and it was quite loud. However, after we informed the administrator, she handled the situation very gently and politely, and everything was quickly resolved.

We were dissatisfied with the overall experience at this hotel, and it left an unpleasant impression. The room met the standard of a 3-star hotel. Breakfast was quite decent with a variety of cheeses, tasty pancakes, and juice. We were dissatisfied with the overall experience at this hotel, and it left an unpleasant impression. The room met the standard of a 3-star hotel. Breakfast was quite decent with a variety of cheeses, tasty pancakes, and juice. The spa area was clean, but the interaction with the reception staff, particularly the young man, was unpleasant. While he was smiling, his attitude towards us was not friendly. We had a 6:00 PM reservation for the jacuzzi, but when we arrived at 6:10 PM, everything was turned off, and no one was there to greet us. We had to move the cover ourselves and turn the jacuzzi on so we wouldn’t lose more time. At 6:24 PM, a man from the reception came and, with an irritated tone, asked why we were there instead of in the sauna. His English was poor, and he blamed us for not understanding something. He made us get out of the jacuzzi, moved the cover to the other side, and only then turned it on again. Our experience, which was supposed to be relaxing, was completely ruined. On that note, we left in a bad mood and decided not to go to the bowling, which we had also reserved. The reception works only until 6:00 PM, so we didn’t call to cancel our 9:00 PM reservation. When checking out the next day, we were charged a 100 EUR fine, which was a large amount, and we were never informed about it beforehand. So, if you want to avoid unexpected charges, I would not recommend this hotel. Also, the parking was paid, which was another inconvenience.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, not too far from the slopes (about 10-15 mins), We used the sauna and jacuzzi tub, and also had a drink in the hotel bar. All good. Very pleasant and helpful front desk. Our party booked/requested 2x twin room setups, we were given a triple and a double so one room (my friend & his father) had to improvise, they did not raise the issue at the hotel, I am sure the hotel would have rectified.

The beds were small and close to each other.

I liked the building, the facilities and the staff. The quilt was quite small from my point of view. The termostat went just up to 21 degrees and during the night it felt cold in the room.

The hotel is well equipped for the families with children, the staff is friendly, the hotel overall is clean, food is nice. I'd love to have mini- bar/mini fridge in the room, as the restaurant was working till 6 pm I had to buy additional food for kids and had no appropriate storage for it.

The hotel is good, very clean room, warm, quite place, breakfast is very tasty, there was everting we need on the breakfast. The location of the hotel is 10-12 min on foot from Kotelnica ski center. There are many other hotels which are closure to ski, but they are more expensive. There is spa center with sauna in the hotel but you need to book it. Unfortunately we didn't succeed to reserve sauna ,we tryed every morning but it was full every time. It is very sad, and I think it is not fair that one group of people or the same rooms had an opportunity to go their and my family is not. This system of booking sauna must be replaced! The second disadvantage-is poor knowledge of English of the staff. There were 2 days that a girl on reception didn't understand us. One day we told her that our toilet is broken ( the system of water in the wall) and we didn't receive any help at all! The girl on reception promised us that she will call to somebody !!!! And maybe they will come tomorrow to fix it. This is not competent answer , it means that in the hotel there is no staff that could give professional support and help and even solve the problem.
