Best Western Plus Castlerock Inn & Suites

The room was large and comfortable with very high ceilings making it seem even bigger. The room was clean and everything worked well. The AC blowing on me was the only negative. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was ample parking as 80 % of the hotel was airline pilots and staff and they had no cars. The location was convenient as well. Great spot to stay in Bentonville.

We mentioned to the staff Tod and he said he’ll look into it. *Room 230, Bed closer to the window.* The pool was out of order. :(

The hotel was clean and that is my primary consideration. However, the property is definitely showing some wear and tear. Torn upholstery in the dining area, rips in the sheets, broken mirror in the workout room, the door to our room kept sticking, etc. The breakfast was adequate, but not especially great. Our biggest disappointment was that the pool was unavailable due to maintenance. I had chosen this hotel because we wanted a pool to use. I would have thought that the hotel would have notified travelers before they arrived since this did not appear to be an emergency shut down. We learned about it upon arrival and were told that the only thing they could do for us was to cancel our room with a full refund. It was too late in the day to search out another location to stay. Next time, we will stay somewhere else.

Our room had a leaking toilet and it was unsanitary water and they didn’t offer us any solution other than to wait for their maintenance guy’s scheduled shift. The pool was out of order and the breakfast was poor quality.

Pool was out of order while there which was a real bummer for the kids. Found dirty underwear in one of the dressers and looks like it hadn’t been vacuumed in between guest. Front desk was helpful and breakfast was nice set up.

Great stay. Wish it was longer

We have stayed here many times and it has always been a pleasurable stay.

Breakfast was good No soap or shampoo in bathroom plus only one towel, hand towel and wash cloth for each of us. We asked for more pillows and was provided one and only one. I had to ask the ladies doing the laundrey to get more. wonder why the ladies working in the laundrey could locate more of what I needed and not the staff at the front desk?

Everything was fine. We were disappointed that the pool was not available. Also, when we checked in, we were not aware that there was a shower instead of a tub not a big deal probably was part of the handicap accessible portion.

Great stay for the price

This was a good place to spend a night in Bentonville. It's only a short drive from the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and from downtown. The room was comfortable and staff at the front desk were pleasant and helpful.

Bad

We were given an accessible room even though we didn’t ask for one and it had a broken window shade that could not be rolled up. The bathroom had some damage as well. The pool was closed for the whole Memorial Day weekend. It’s on a main road and our room was facing it, so we got to listen to loud vehicles all night. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. All in all it was an ok place to sleep before moving on.

There was just a very basic breakfast out enough to take the edge off of being hungry, but not actually get full off of what was being served.

The toilet was plugged when we went to flush it the first time. The cleaning people should have realized this when they were cleaning and notified maintenance before booking the room again. The bed & the breakfast.

Breakfast was very good. Lots of choices. Probably should look at another waffle machine. One is not enough when there are large groups staying there. Parking was fine, staff very friendly and helpful.

Disappointing

The reason I booked this hotel was so my daughter and her best friend had a pool to swim. The pool is out of service and won’t be up until a huge crack is repaired. No where does the website say this pool would be unavailable. The manager (Todd) was very hateful when I ask for compensation for this amenity being unavailable since I booked through hotels.com. I will never stay at a Best Western again. The bathroom didn’t have an exhaust fan, so when someone had to use the restroom, it stunk the entire place up. It also caused excessive humidity from showers. Also, the elevator made weird noises scaring the kids. The state inspection had also expired in March for the one elevator in the building. Very disappointed

An honest review. The best thing about this place was the breakfast which isn’t saying a lot because it was a basic continental breakfast. I booked this place for the reviews and was sadly disappointed. The pictures online did not match this place. It was a mediocre hotel. The room we stayed in 302 sounded like we were on a NASCAR track all night. The TV didn’t work it kept glitching as we tried to watch it. I might have slept 3 hours. Fortunately it was only a one night visit or I would have left and booked another hotel.

Great breakfast!

The hotel was nice for the price. The only reason for this rating is that the toilet, shower and sink did not drain/flush properly.

This property is a solid three-star hotel. The room was clean, breakfast was delicious, and food options in the area were plenty. The bed and pillows were comfortable. There was a little conversation noise that leaked through the walls, but it wasn't loud enough to affect our sleep.

The indoor pool was great for the kids, this was a family trip and the staff was terrific. The food variety for breakfast was very good and there was something every member of the family liked. Very pleased with this hotel.

Enjoyable stay. Outstanding breakfast. Unusually helpful staff. Large room with many lamps but still dark areas. Suggest you bring a headlamp and/or flashlight as we always do. Only sofa had good light for reading a book or device without backlighting.

Everything was perfect.

The front-desk staff was friendly whenever I had to speak with them. The eggs were really good every morning. I had a rental car but was able to park far enough away from other cars so that the rental wouldn't get nicked or scratched. It turns out the property was less than a mile from the location of my granddaughter's wedding and an easy 3-mile drive to church on Sunday. It was easy to get to and from the airport. Even though it was on a busy street I didn't hear any outside noise. The only difficulty was figuring out how to use the a/c control. The bathroom sink faucet was stiff and difficult to adjust to get warm water. The front-desk attendant took note of it to be repaired after I left. I didn't think it was necessary to do so during my stay.

The array of breakfast foods did not appeal to me. I ate a cutie/orange. My son, who stayed with me the 2nd night, although I paid for 2 people for both nights, enjoyed the breakfast foods offered. Parking was good. Room fronted a highway that was very noisy. I did not request the room to be tended during my stay but someone came in and made the bed but did not wipe down nightstand nor run vacuum cleaner. . I picked up crumbs that were quite visible and wiped down visible spill on nightstands after the visit. . . which happened while I was at a wedding. Staff were fine, room was comfortable but the price was outrageous in my view. Nearly $500 for two nights. Asking for tips in their survey was inappropriate in my view as I had no direct interaction with anyone aside from checking in and paying for a bottle of water and a bag of chips.

Chek-in was terrible. the reservations were booked under incorrect name combination. When I told them my last Name they could not find it - said we did not have reservations. Almost forced us to go to a different hotel. caused tons of frustrations.

2nd time staying here. Very close to Walmart headquarters. Friendly staff, clean property, comfortable beds, living room/suite area making area roomy and relaxing, fresh linens, toiletries, easy parking. Basic breakfast but the gravy for the biscuits was cold. (Maybe the crockpot wasn’t working?) Overall, really enjoyed stay.

We loved our stay at this property. Secind time we have been here. And it has been about 5 years in between. Property is still nicely kept. Roomms are nice and clean. There is construction on the street in front of them, but it does not make it difficult to enter or exit. Their driveways are still clear. Fitness room & pool was a great end to each of our days. Staff was super great. Even when I had a problem due to my part (not theirs). They were quick to help me get it straightened out. Breakfast was great also. Scrambled eggs, diced potatoes, mini omelets, bacon, biscuits & gravy. And all of your usual waffles, cereal, toast, etc... I highly recommend staying here.

The staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the pool and our room. It was nice to return to our freshly made up room for the second night. That probably would not have been necessary to get all new linens. Some other hotels don’t offer that service anymore to be considered more green. The breakfast was plentiful and changed every day. We will be staying again next time we are in Bentonville.

I must admit the beds here are comfortable but I did not enjoy having to ask twice for housekeeping.

We love the layout of the room! We love the bed and the pillows! All of the other furniture was extremely comfortable as well and the bathroom layout was great. Could live in that room, come down for breakfast, and head off to work if I lived here and weren't retired. The only iffy thing was the lack of lighting. But everything else offset that.

The bath tub's water valve had broken side cap that could be dangerous. Toilet was unstable, it could tilt if one leaned to the other side.

Places is dated. And room are semi clean. Breakfast was good.

68-degree room with small blankets and a loud highway all night long. Rude desk help at 11:30 pm. Sorry I didn’t have cash and you had to set up a CC payment. Not worth the money.

Enjoyed everything about this hotel.

I like it when I'm surprised. We arrived in Bentonville late and reserved the room without first inspecting the hotel. It was wonderful! Friendly staff and very accommodating to our requests and needs. Great bathroom with excellent water pressure, and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. This is a property I will return to next time I'm traveling through Arkansas. If you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel you can trust, you've found it!

Staff was friendly however rooms were dirty. The first night was ok but the dust was very noticeable, as we were just in bed relaxing we saw two small bugs crawl on the bed and a spider. They were able to get us another room but very disappointed as I’ve always had good experiences with best western.

Extremely noisy outdoors. We were on the front side of the building and could hear every single car that drove past. Air conditioner was noisy. Mattress was absolutely the worst we have ever slept on. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The room was amazing: well organized, most comfortable bed, great linens, useful furnishings and lighting. The breakfast had better offerings than I've experienced at other brand hotels. Only problem: The front wing of this building is not sound proofed for traffic noise. I'd request a main corridor room in the future.

We only used this hotel because we went last minute and all other hotels were booked up. Got our room and turned on the ac then went to dinner. Came back to the ac not working and a hot room. They moved us to another room but we had to leave a day earlier because that room was booked for someone else. Breakfast and staff were great.

I liked the cleaness of the property and the staff was very pleasant. I didn't care for the fact that they don’t take in consideration of the people that don’t eat beef or pork with the breakfast and the juice was very watered-down and my whole 3 days there wasn't any Wi-Fi 😒

Only con for me was the air-conditioning. Had it all the way down because I love to sleep in a cold room. It never got anywhere close to the lowest temp which was supposed to be 60⁰. It turned off and on like a normal thermostat. I would say it was probably around 70⁰ in the room.

We were so pleased with this property after making a last minute reservation. They were able to accommodate an early check in and the room and lobby/breakfast area were very clean. Super soft towels and sheets. Definitely a fantastic stay at a fantastic price.

Liked that there is 24/7 customer service at the front desk. Delayed arrival around 1:30am and there was an agent there that checked us in. Very friendly and attentive service. Breakfast is very basic and coffee runs out quickly. Bacon was all gone by 8am. No half n half. Just the little flavored creamers. However, there is a Waffle House a short walk away. Location is excellent for Bentonville. Our shower had a strong flow and is very relaxing after a long day of shopping and sightseeing. No shortage of hot water. 2 Queen size beds and an L-shaped sectional seating fit 3 people comfortably. There’s ample lighting for reading in bed, sofa and desk. TV, microwave and a large college fridge that runs cool. My bottled water ended up with an ice chunk in the center. Actually liked this very much because my cold drink stayed cold while we were out and about in the 90-ish degree weather. Can’t go wrong with staying here. I highly recommend staying at the Best Western Castlerock in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Booked this hotel for the pool and hot tub. The pool was cold and hot tub was out of service on the first day. The second day, both were drained and did not work. The breakfast and overall comfort was fine. The TV does not accomodate roku, no way to change the input. TV sits close to the wall. A working hot tub and full access to smart TV would have made this hotel great.

The staff is not cooperative. The room service took my luggage during my stay and claimed they didn’t take anything. I found the room empty.. they took my belongings and clothes.. i left the city without resolving the issue. I had to escalate the case to the upper management of Best Western. The staff is not cooperative and they didn’t resolve the issue. I have bad experience with the hotel and don’t recommend it.

This Best Western is a bit better than most in this chain. A decent breakfast, helpful reception staff and clean room.Fine for a one-night stay.

Wish we had towels change and cleaning of room

We were issued the wrong room category and had to argue to get the room we booked. Check in was miserable. Room not serviced one day, despite requesting this.

Pool was cloudy and hot tub was not functioning. Bathroom was small and shower was not easily managed with hot and cold.

The Bad: The hot tub/spa was not working and it looked liked it had been out of service for awhile although I cannot confirm that. [These types of things should be stated up front when booking]. They could use another worker at the breakfast on the weekends. The Ugly: Boxes were piled up outside on the back of the property. Pillows were piled up underneath the stairway on the back end of the building.

We got caught in the Bentonville tornado 5-25-24! The power went out so everyone had to check out Sunday morning. The power was out all over the city, The staff was very helpful and we hope to be able to come back in the fall.

Probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in! Rooms and whole place was very clean. Went down for breakfast at 830am and everything was empty. About 10 people standing around waiting on something to eat. So sadly we had to go elsewhere for breakfast
