21c Museum Hotel Bentonville

The next issue I had was that there were NO ICED MACHINES. They prided themselves on giving water in an aluminum can with water refillers throughout the property (which fit was the artsy style). Ice however had to be requested. I like being able to get ice when I need and want it and not have to call the front desk to have someone bring me a little baggy of ice and expect a tip.

Had the best scratch kitchen breakfast ever! Museum art, great staff, and immaculate rooms and common spaces made it a special visit!

Art Exhibits were eclectic. There was more artwork to see than expected. Staff was very helpful especially at breakfast. Great central location for town and all the attractions.

Unique, modern hotel in a great location for walking anywhere in downtown Bentonville, very close to the museum, and includes its own curated collection of artworks throughout the hotel property.

The hive Lounge was fun and loved the moving green penguin. The nespression machine in the room only gave lukewarm liquid at best.

I found the hotel to be very different than anywhere I had ever stayed. I loved all of the unique art exhibits. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and very well taken care of. And the restaurant was amazing. It was a great place to stay

The location is perfect for the area. The staff was so wonderful and accommodating. It's one of the best hotel's I've stayed at.

We enjoyed the artwork, but the hotel has a young vibe. We were two senior couples traveling together and the hotel was not geared for our age group. It was recommended to us by our son and daughter-in-law, and that seemed to be the target age for the hotel. I think it is a perfect hotel for 30s, 40s, and 50s. We did enjoy the bar and the bartenders were great. Breakfast service was a little slow and slipshod. Overall, the hotel was very nice, but not exactly the type of hotel we were looking for.

This is a beautiful hotel with the town square on one side and hiking/biking trails on the other. The food and service were top-notch. The rooms were very nice and comfortable.

Truly a unique hotel with excellent staff and amenities. The beds, bathrooms, and in room extras make for a most comfortable stay. The in room dining service is great! Enjoy your delicious morning coffee and order in while seated comfortably.

Our room was large and clean. The location downtown is super. The art displayed was very interesting. The coffee and breakfast we had at the Hive was terrible. We are not coffee snobs, had to go to off property for coffee the second day.

This hotel was fantastic! I've been a fan of 21c for years, and this one does not disappoint. Everything about the visit was easy. The room was clean, well-appointed, and designed for ease. The art was interesting and I liked feeling immersed in it every time I walked in. There is seating throughout the hotel that invites you to slow down, spend some time with the art and relax. They have reusable water bottles and water bottle filling stations on each floor. The staff were great too. We had dinner at The Hive restaurant, which was delicious and the staff were superb. We really enjoyed Wyatt, with whom we had a great conversation, and gave local flavor to our visit. It was the perfect place to spend 3 days.

The hotel is older, with some parts of it being redone. Overall it was clean, quirky and comfortable, but you could tell it was older.

The experience this hotel provides is unrivaled in terms of general aesthetic. The art is wonderful and the rooms look great and are very clean. Lovely lounge area with great drinks and food as well.

The hotel is first rate. I’ve stayed there before. But Hotels.com screwed up royally! The hotel told us the reservation had been cancelled by Hotels.com. If true, Hotels.com did not inform us.

Very slow in restaurant, and we wanted more activity so we didn’t hang out at hotel. Quite sure it has to do with the construction at front of building. Once that is finished, all should be good and we will try again. The art was amazing and the humor of the penguins was super fun.

Clean convenient room -

Current construction in the area made enjoying the downtown Bentonville area miserable. The hotel is over priced. The art was not to my liking. The good news was they allow foster dogs from Best Friends shelter to stay in the rooms and the hotel rooms were quiet. Nice staff.

Very disappointed regarding construction around the hotel. Could not park or valet had to park away from building. If I had know would not have stayed there.

My only complaint is that in front of the property is a major construction site. It is not possible to pull up to the front of the property. Guests must be dropped off and then walk through the construction site along a temporary path to get to the door of the hotel.

Our room was spotlessly clean and we loved the art and the overall atmosphere of the hotel. The restaurant is wonderful. It was an unusual hotel and tremendously interesting.

Also, shower curtain doesn’t stop water from pouring onto the floor. Recommend investigating a better option.

Great fun! The art is unique and a nice feature, the restaurant has some of the best food around and the bar is open until midnight. The rooms are wonderful, that bed is so comfortable and the pillows are the best in any hotels I’ve stayed at. I’m always a fan of large walk in showers. The only thing missing is a pool and the parking is quite far from the door, especially with luggage. Still stay here every time I come to Bentonville.

This place is great. Has a nice vibe. Good evening bar and located at the heart of Bentonville with beautiful paths to Crystal Bridges and many attractions.

Everything was excellent. Widely-spread construction in the Bentonville and at Crystal Bridges was very difficult to overcome, but hotel managed well. Helpful, friendly staff, excellent cuisine, and clean rooms.

Hotel well located in Bentonville, within walking to the town square, 5 min, with a lot of eating opportunities, and 2min to the trail to the museum, 15min walk. The hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and large with excellent bath facilities. Only issue encountered was being served "cold" eggs, sausage and grits each morning. Dinner was very good. Would stay again, but eat breakfast in town, which we did on day 3!

We loved our stay at the 21C in Bentonville. We found it to be very enjoyable and and we will definitely go back. The staff and art are amazing. If I had one complaint it would be for such a nice hotel their bathroom amenities were not great . I think for the price you pay for the hotel they could put in 2-ply toilet paper. I know that is very nick picky but I hated what was there.

Major construction going on where you couldn’t even get to the front door. It was a mess and no one told us when we called even that day before staying in the day of we called and we’re asking about different things about checking in early and they never told us anything about the construction. It was just a big mess.

My husband left his black raincoat in the closet in the room we stayed in! I phoned the hotel several times and was told that they would check with housekeeping to see if they had the coat! I never got a follow up phone call! Very disappointed!!

Constructions on the radius of the property will inconvenience the walk but everything is accessible on detour…

Wonderful hotel! Really nice rooms. Clean, large. Modern. All the staff were upbeat, helpful. Only had brunch in the restaurant but it was really good. Doorman always there to great you. If I’m ever back in Bentonville I will stay at the C21. Thank you for a great stay.

Art hotel with a European feel and hip vibe. Fabulous art galleries and collection, comfy beds, well located to town center and Crystal Bridges Art Museum. Loved the bar and restaurant and the nicely equipped gymnasium. The problem is the construction out front of the hotel and makeshift platforms over flooded area made it difficult to get into the hotel lobby with suitcases.

Ignoring the construction that surrounded the hotel, the architecture was modern, the art was beautiful, the room was big and comfortable, the plastic penguins were a delight, the staff were approachable. The friendliest staff were in the bar and I received a short history lesson which I enjoyed. I would stay here again. I wasn't told to use my hotel key to run the elevator and that was embarrassing.

Terrible check in - no staff available for valet parking, fast check in, helping with luggage. Then front desk staff told me hotel restaurant didn’t serve breakfast until 11am. When I left the hotel to get breakfast elsewhere the next day, I realized the restaurant was, in fact, open. Hotel needs to train the staff.

The staff was so friendly and kind. We traveled with our dog and it was such a joy to have him with us combined with the ease of 21c being close to everything.

Perfectly adequate hotel which believes itself to be wonderful. Some staff were delightful. Others were downright off hand. Surprising considering it’s not a cheap option. Food was excellent. Current arrangements with building works make accessing the hotel challenging and car parking on the other side of the building. Free valet service would have been a gesture of recompense but not available.

I travel to Fayetteville multiple times a year to visit my daughters at the University, and I decided to stay in Bentonville this time as we all love the art scene there. 21c did not disappoint! The art exhibits were phenomenal, both playful and thought provoking. Absolutely loved the roving green penguins. Service ranged between super helpful and friendly on one end of the spectrum and snooty and aloof on the other end. Maybe the snooty people were part of an art installation. :)

Good hotel in Bentonville. As a “Museum” hotel, the lobby was in the midst of hanging new installations, so it was a bit bare.

I have had a better experience at a roadside motel compared to 21c in Bentonville. It was incredibly shocking to see how little people cared. My Nespresso machine wasn’t working and I needed coffee so I called to the front desk in the early morning and I was told to come down to get lobby coffee and asked if I turned on machine (really?). went to the restaurant to obtain a cup, and it was watered down Lavazzo. Nespresso machine was eventually replaced I believe by housekeeping that day when I was out. Someone should have come up immediately with a new coffee machine. What a joke. Again how is this a 4 star hotel for executives traveling to Walmart?!?! I am a seasoned professional who has never experienced such crappy treatment in a hotel. That being said, I went for dinner in the hotel’s restaurant, where the service was excellent. Staff there at bar in particular were very friendly. The hotel as an art museum is a really cool concept. However I wasn’t offered a tour.

Fabulous wimsical and crazy looking rooms. We loved to spend time in them. Evidently there ie only one of those suites decorated like it. Consider yourself lucky if you get picked. The gallery space on the first floor/lobby displayed delicious art pieces. Conveniently located to downtown and various attractions as well as the Cristal Bridge Museum, a must see!

Everything was lovely and clean and even though there was construction next to the building it wasn’t loud and didn’t keep us from fully enjoying our stay!

Nothing about this hotel will blow you away. It is completely overpriced for what you actually get. It is not new or modern as it would have you believe. The staff at checkin dressed sloppy. If your guests are paying near $300/night you could at least have a dress code in place for your front desk. Just don’t stay here. I’ve never been more disappointed in a hotel choice.

Great hotel right in the heart of old town Bentonville and within easy walking to Crystal Bridges Museum. They let us check in a couple hours early, the room is spacious and attractive...and very clean. The restaurant downstairs was hopping although we just had a drink at the bar. Everything about this hotel is really nice.

Sorry to say this was my worst experience at my favorite hotel in Arkansas! Was it because I booked them through Orbitz for the first time? They did not let me know at check in that TV service was completely out for my entire stay. Also, for an “art hotel” which typically has amazing art in the room, this room had 1 piece in this particular room! So unusual. And the room faced the parking lot. It’s like they gave me the worst room in the hotel. And when I genuinely complained about the TV being out, they offered nothing. Not even a drink at the bar (where there WAS TV) as an alternative to relaxing in the room. Again, I absolutely loved this hotel and it was so disappointing.

Penguins

We specifically requested a two queen bedroom and received a king. I called ahead and requested prior and was told I would have it.

We loved all of the art work, and seeing the green penguins everywhere was so fun. We enjoyed the dinner and service in The Hive as well. Overall a wonderful stay! We will be returning in the future!
